Anna went to Hetty's office for a meeting. Hetty was in her yard, drinking tea.
'Is there a special reason for wanting me here, or is this just a tea thing?' Anna asked.
'Both, in a way. Take a seat, Miss Kolcheck.' Hetty replied.
After Anna sat down, Hetty poured her some tea.
'Thank you.'
'I've been going over old case files, and talking to Mr. Callen. I understand you've been through a lot this year.' Hetty said.
'You mean, between lying to my boyfriend, being grabbed by Katya's henchmen? Yeah, it's been a lot.'
'I can kind of understand why you did what you did. I've sometimes had to make the painful choice of going completely in the dark on a mission to protect my team. Lately, more often then I want too.' Hetty replied.
'Is this why most relationships don't last? Because of the cons of this job?'
'Are you worried about you and Mr. Callen's relationship? Because from what I've heard from him, you 2 are still together.'
'We are. But things have been, a bit awkward. Like, he's afraid of saying much to me. Like he's afraid to.' Anna said.
'Hmm. Well, he hasn't broken up with you, right?'
'Right.'
'My advice to you: Don't give up on him. He loves you. He might not have used the words yet, but he really does care about you. The question is, do you love him?' Hetty asked.
'I suppose I do.'
'Then you know what to do next. It's been nice talking to you, Miss Kolcheck.'
'You too. And thanks for the tea.'
