a.k.a Criminal Minds: Beyond Dimensions
a.k.a What if Spencer Reid was part of FBI's International Response Team?
Scene 1:
Intro credits. Jack Garrett, Spencer Reid, Mae Jarvis, Clara Seger and Russ Montgomery are lined up.
Scene 2:
Shot at FBI's headquarter from a distance. A subtitle is showned wording 'Of what import are brief, nameless lives . . . to Galactus? (Stan Lee)'.
Scene 3:
All agents are sitting around a table. A conversation is initiated by Agent Garrett.
-We've got a case, sais Jack Garrett.
-Lucinda Lovegreat, American resident, stabbed in her sleep by an unknown suspect at a hotel in Great Britain. Little to none information available in search for lifethreads online, sais Russ Montgomery.
-Seems we're going to Britain, Russ; how does the local police finds about our assistance with the case, sais Jack Garrett.
-They welcome you to assist. They have their best team working on the case, sais Russ Montgomery.
-Excellent, sais Jack Garrett.
-Wait for it. You might not like this, but there's one thing with this team, sais Russ Montgomery.
-What?, sais Jack Garrett.
-They're two-dimensional. James Bond Junior with friends, sais Russ Montgomery.
-(Sight.) OK, Spencer and I go to the Murakami-Wolf-Swenson animation studio to hook up with James Bond Junior, and then have a look on the crimescene; Mae Jarvis take a look at the corpse of Lucinda Lovegreat; and you Clara goes questioning the hotel staff.
Scene 4:
Shot inside the Murakami-Wolf-Swenson animation studio. Spencer Reid and Jack Garrett are watching a television monitor with James Bond Junior (and friends).
-Welcome to the United Kingdom, sais James Bond Junior.
-(Sight.) Thank you. But how did you think this partnership will unfold with you harnessed to that animated segment?, sais Jack Garrett.
-I have a thingy here given to me by I.Q allowing you to take a presence in three dimensions. It has some major bug allowing only one person to use it before it goes scrambled and so my team will have to remain stuck within this animated segment and me to assist you on the criminal case, sais James Bond Junior.
Scene 5:
James Bond Junior is fingering on some spooky gadget while he; in the next move; gets himself materialized into a three dimensional being.
-Good. Then we're off to the crime scene, sais Jack Garrett.
Scene 6:
Shot inside the hotel (of the victim) with Jack Garrett, Spencer Reid and James Bond Junior assisted by the hotel manager.
-So, the door was still locked when the police arrived after the stabbing, sais Jack Garrett.
-Could be an insider work by one hotel employee. We have to look closer when we get Seger's report, sais Spencer.
-But that don't explain why the security cameras didn't catch your unsub. With no sight of any breaking violence the security cameras work by an on and off circularity turning it on when the door is opened with a keycard or opened from the inside, sais the hotel manager.
-Couldn't it have been shut down prior to the attack, as to not being turned on when opening the door, sais Jack Garrett.
-No, after reviewing the security tape one can easily see that it wasn't shut down since our security guards monitored it all night. Should it have been shut down or moved they would have noticed because anyone touching it is turning it on, sais the hotel manager.
Scene 7:
Clara Seger, Jack Garrett, Spencer Reid and James Bond Junior are lined up at their temporary headquarter in Britain all sitting behind a table. Mae Jarvis is with them by link - a computer monitor that's on in the background.
-How are you, Clara? You seem tired, sais Jack Garrett.
-Yeah, every hotel room was occupied, so we had to rest in a bed and breakfast miles out in the outback. We had to go up at four in the morning to get here in time, sais Clara Seger.
-There's an upcoming superhero conference in town so I heard. Perhaps the hotels are stacked with superheroes, sais Mae Jarvis.
-That means our crime scene could be stuffed with superheroes. What if our unsub knowns of this and not just that, but feasts on superheroes as his targets, sais Spencer Reid.
-It's seems farfetched. Superheroes that rests in a hotel?, sais Jack Garrett.
-But where do they change from their alter ego to their superhero persona. In these days; telephone booths are a rarity, sais James Bond Junior.
-It also explains why little information could be found online about our victim. She probably signed in to the hotel in a fingered name as to decieve others from knowing she's a superheroes, sais Spencer Reid.
-But that's also a simplyfying matter to our unsub as the victim is harder to identify, sais James Bond Junior.
-Still don't explain how our unsub could get access to their rooms, sais Jack Garrett.
-Perhaps he's two-dimensional in nature. That would explain how he got access to his victim, sais James Bond Junior.
-Clara, you got anything from your questioning?, sais Jack Garrett.
-No, the hotel clerk working this night is under a traumatic stress and recides in a local hospital. I will go their as soon as possible to see of he is in shape to be questioned, sais Clara Seger.
-Mae, you got anything on your medical examination, sais Jack Garrett turning to the computer monitor in the background.
-Nothing but a symbol on the victim's ankle, sais Mae Jarvis.
-Looks like the roman letter for one, sais Spencer Reid. It seems etched on to the victim like it is tattooed on her dead body, sais Spencer Reid.
-Yeah, the media have already dubbed our unsub the 'Tattoo Killer' eventhou we just have one victim, sais Mae Jarvis.
-But there could be more. Our unsub will probably attempt serial murder. Victim count is a huge turn-on for serial killers with lists all over the Internet which ranks serial killers by victim count. Our unsub will likely hunt new victims in the vicinity of Lucinda just trying to get a bodycount as high as he can before being caught, sais Spender Reid.
-That means we have to work fast and catch the guy before he strikes again, sais Jack Garrett.
Scene 8:
All our agent (except Russ Montgomery plus James Bond Junior) are lined up at their temporary headquarter in Britain standing behind a desk with a computer on in the vicinity.
-We've got some more victims!, sais Jack Garrett.
-Jessica Longrocking, Everest Staplemate, and Josephine Knightswatch. All three stabbed in there sleep and with no further connection than living in the same hotel, sais Clara Seger.
-Yes, that and the fact that they're marked with a tatto on their ankles labeling - in roman letters - two, three and four respectively, sais Mae Jarvis.
-That's our unsub!, sais Jack Garrett.
-Clara, did you get anything from your questioning?, sais Jack Garrett.
-Nothing from our questioning; apart from a voice in the hotel clerks head crying out for help, sais Clara Seger.
-Could be a delusion?, sais Jack Garrett.
-Or maybe he heard the victims cry out for help, sais Spencer Reid.
-What if our victims were telepaths? Many telepaths have a hard time reading their ability in nothing but the right circumstances and being threathen in the middle of the night from a three dimensional being clearly isn't optimal circumstances, sais James Bond Junior.
-Yes, and if our foe could somehow tap in to the telepathic connection he sure could find his victims, sais Spencer Reid.
-Maybe he chooses victims out of telepaths not just as recognizable targets but also because of their vulnerability. A telepath without their power is often in a victimized state if they hadn't undergone some form of martial arts training; or is shielded by some other super powered creature, sais James Bond Junior.
Scene 9:
Spencer is taking a seat behind the computer - showing off a collection of comics - while the rest of the team (plus James Bond Junior) is standing beside.
-I bought every imaginable British comic book to see if some villains where taking the route to Britain these past weeks but found only one villain in town this very week. Frivolity Fighter, presumably lives here. Could this be our unsub?, sais Spencer Reid.
-And with no information in the comic on his former crimes?, sais Jack Garrett.
-No, it's seems the comic book he's appearing in got cancelled after just one issue, sais Spencer Reid.
-What if our unsub got pissed off by having his comic being cancelled and somehow found a way of turning three-dimensional and then lashes out in this world?, sais James Bond Junior.
-Many two-dimensional villains has turned into three-dimensional ditos for example 'Brotherhood Of Evil Mutants' and 'the Joker', sais Spencer Reid.
-We found sketches on the crimescenes by some of the victims with their superhero costumes interchanged for a costume that said 'TRLoD', sais Mae Jarvis.
-'Real-Life Legion of Doom', a supervillain team, sais James Bond Junior.
-What if our unsub found a way of travelling from the two-dimensional world to the three-dimensional and that he also could call on his victims souls by drawing them, as in a comic, and then resurrect them to be supervillains instead of superheroes?, sais Spencer Reid.
-It might work if our victims are psychotic enough, sais James Bond Junior.
-I've got an idea! Russ, can you check the patients incarcerated in the last weeks with the local mental hospital and then compare the names with local hotels visitors as of now?, sais Spencer Reid.
-Found a lot of five nowatime hotel visitors in town - staying at the same hotel - with the same fifth being incarcerated for psychosis some weeks ago, sais Russ Montgomery.
-OK, we head for this location and we have our unsub. Hope we're not late, sais Jack Garrett.
Scene 10:
The team (except Russ Montgomery plus James Bond Junior) is shown entering the hotel with their guns turned and behind the desk lies the hotel clerk - with the roman letter for five on his ankle - in a pool of blood.
-How are we now going to find our unsub?, sais Jack Garrett.
Scene 11:
With the team standing in the hotel lobby James Bond Junior is draging up a circulated thingy-mayingy (object).
-I got this tool from I.Q earlier on. If we have a sixth victim she should be here somewhere if her death is at least somewhat timed with our presence, sais James Bond Junior using a tool to look for paranormal activity.
-I've got a reading from the second floor; first or perhaps second room, sais James Bond Junior.
Scene 12:
Our designated agents founds the door and while recieving no answer from a call Spencer Reid kicks it in showing a dead body with blood all over her in the bed.
-Oh no, we're to late! Look on her ankle. Looks like the sixth victim, sais Jack Garrett.
Scene 13:
James Bond Junior is once again using his tool to search for paranormal activity.
-It seems her ghost is still here which means our unsub is in the vicinity trying to gather her soul, sais James Bond Junior.
-Probably in the next door or the same floor, sais Spencer Reid.
-But isn't the superhero conference over?, sais Jack Garrett.
-Many serial killers, for example Ted Bundy, change their modus operandi and victim type when the law enforcement is on their heel and the killing spree looks like to end, sais Spencer Reid.
Scene 14:
Agent Reid is entering a door - in the vicinity - seemingly at random.
-He's in here!, sais Spencer Reid.
Scene 15:
While in the room; the killer is showned with a knife turned lashing out on Agent Reid.
Scene 16:
Agent Reid shoots the killer dead.
Scene 17:
The team (minus Russ Montgomery and James Bond Junior) is seated at the plane going home to USA.
-You were brilliant today Spencer, sais Clara Seger.
-Yeah, you were splendid, sais Mae Jarvis.
-Yes, you were marvellous, sais Jack Garrett.
-How did you know our unsub was not just in the vicinity but in that specific room, sais Jack Garrett.
-Perhaps I heard the victim calling to me telepathically, sais Spencer Reid.
Scene 18:
The IRT's plane is showned at a distance while in the air with the subtitle 'Nuff Said (Stan Lee)' showned in the foreground.
