As they entered the Dothraki camp, they dismounted from their horses, and came to stand before a large tent. Shoshanna's handmaiden had come to stand beside her, letting the princess rest most of her weight onto her. A tall Dothraki man with long black hair to his thighs emerged from the tent and greet the group in Dothraki language. Viserys leaned over and explained that that was the Khal, King of the Dothraki, Drogo. Next a young girl with pale white hair, the color of Viserys walked out and stood next to the Khal.

"Dear sister, savage life agrees with you." Viserys spoke. Turning to Shoshanna, "May I present my future Queen, Princess Shoshanna of Strokwen?"

The young girl smiled softly as she touched Shoshanna's face. "I am Daenerys Storm born Targaryen, Kahleesi of the Dothroki."

"Kahleesi, I must apologize. It has been a very long journey, I am not at my best." Shoshanna apologized.

Daenerys waved her hand and two dothraki women approached Shoshanna, "Have you rode horseback the entire journey?" She quietly asked.

"Three days." Shoshanna answered.

"Please, let me help you into your tent." Daenerys offered.

"Oh no, Kahleesi, please. I can manage." Shoshanna tried not to offend her.

"Please. I have been in your place. We may bond as sisters. Come." Daenerys took her hand and led her to a tent just past her own.

Once inside the tent, she was led to a stool next to a table. The two dothraki women helped her ease into a sitting position onto the stool as Daenerys brought a bowl of water and dry cloths to her feet.

"Kahleesi, please, I can manage with the help of my handmaiden." Shoshanna told her.

"Shush child. My journey into this land was not a pleasant one. We physically are not as strong as men, but we make up for it in other areas." She smiled.

One of the dothraki women wet the cloth and began to wipe Shoshanna's hands.

"May I ask why you did not have your own horse?" Daernerys began to rub sap onto Shoshanna's hand once it was cleaned.

"I am afraid I had a disagreement with the King and was forced to accompany him on his horse." Shoshanna softly answered.

Daenerys nodded, "My brother can be difficult. I know he is a good person, but he doesn't often show it. He was the only family I had until I came to the Dothraki. They are my family now, but I hope you and I can be sisters. I never had a sister. I've always wanted one." She smiled softly.

Once Shoshanna's hands were cleaned and bandaged, she was offered a change of clothing.

"Nataly and Visteon can help your handmaiden in your care." Daenerys explained.

"Thank you Kahleesi." Shoshanna answered.

"I'm afraid we won't have much time to get to know each other this visit." Daenerys smiled sadly, "The duties of a Kahleesi will call me a way, but I first wanted to speak with you. The wedding ceremony will take place at dawn."

"The wedding ceremony?" Shoshanna gasped.

"Viserys has not explained?" Daenerys shook her head before continuing. "It is our custom, which the Khal has extended to Viserys while you are in this land. Let me explain, Dothraki weddings begin at dawn and end at dusk, it is an endless day of drinking, feasting and fighting, I am afraid. The Dothraki women with veils of crimson, yellow and orange dance to the drums, and dothraki warriors may take them freely before the Khalasar. It's not a pleasant sight to see, but it is Dothraki culture. A Dothraki wedding without deaths is deemed a dull affair. I know you may have never witnessed such, and that this is a lot to handle at once, but it is our way and it has been passed to Viserys for while he is here."

Shoshanna looked at the young Khaleesi as she explained what was too happen in hours' time. She was shocked.

Daenerys continued, "Once the sun sets, the marriage is consummated."

Shoshanna shook her head as she understood what the Khaleesi was telling her.

With a soft pat to her bandaged hands, the Khaleesi stood and left the tent.
