Shoshanna tossed and turned in the bed. Her handmaiden, Nina, had quietly sat and watched her Lady in such turmoil and pain, the raw emotion clearly drawn on her soft delicate features as she lay sleeping. Shoshanna began to whimper in her sleep once more. Nina stood and made her way to the bed to comfort her. Moving the strands of wet hair from her face, she wiped at the sweat that glistened her brow. "It is alright." Nina soothed.

Shoshanna sat up quickly, and looked around the tent, fear in her eyes, as tear creeped out from under her eyelids as she blinked. "Oh, Nina, what am I going to do?" She cried.

"M'lady, do not worry. Calm yourself." Nina replied. She didn't know what to tell the young Queen.

After a few moments, Shoshanna stood. "Help me dress."

Nina nodded as she helped Shoshanna out of her night gown. She handed her a gown made out of the softest silk, light blue in color, with gold stitching around the wrists and ankles. Helping her into it, she smiled when she reached for a brush. "That is such a lovely dress." Nina complimented.

Smiling softly and a little sadly, Shoshanna said, "Thank you, Nina. "

"What shall I do with your hair, M'lady?" Nina asked as she ran the brush through the mess of dark brown curls.

"Pin it. " Shoshanna replied.

Once Nina had pinned her hair, Shoshanna pulled on a gray cloak and pulled the hood to cover her head slightly. Walking out of the tent with her handmaiden beside her, she didn't know what she was doing until she came to Viserys' meeting tent.

"Your Grace." The young soldier guarding the entrance bowed. "Let me announce you to the King."

"I can announce myself." Shoshanna replied. "Thank you." She whispered over her shoulder as she walked inside.

"I am not in the mood for interruptions!" Viserys yelled when he heard the flap of the tent open and close. He was sitting at a table, his aid to his right, with his nose pinched tightly between his fingers. He did not look pleased, he looked distracted and angry.

"Not even from your Queen?" Shoshanna stood in the middle of the tent.

Viserys snapped his head up, a look of confusion briefly flashing on his face before replacing it with a look of intrigue. "Yes, my dear?"

"I would like to speak to you, Your Grace." Shoshanna answered.

"Speak." Viserys replied.

"Alone." She told him, looking to his aid.

Viserys stood and walked in front of the table, leaning against it slightly, he crossed his arms, "Very well. " He turned to his aid, "Leave us."

Shoshanna nodded to Nina as Viserys' aid past beside her. Waiting until both had left the tent, Shoshanna slowly started walking towards Viserys.

"You have my attention, my dear. I must say that I am intrigued. I had thought you would not wish to see my face for a month's time, "he chuckled, "What is it you wish to speak to me?"

"How long before we enter Westeros?" She asked.

"I do not know. There are such matters that need my attention that may delay our journey." He answered, truthfully.

"What matters?" She stood a few steps in front him now.

He didn't move as she came closer and closer, but he took notice. His body took notice, "Nothing you need to worry your pretty little head about, my dear."

She closed the distance between the two of them and reached her hand to place it on his shoulder, "Will these matters take your attention away from your Queen?"

Viserys grabbed her hand, "Why the sudden change of heart?" He asked, angry and confused.

Shoshanna stammered, "I-I thought you and I would become friends... I only wish our nights together would not be like our first wedding night."

She could see what she had said slowly seep into his mind as his hold on her hand became gentler and his features begin to soften.

"What do you want?" he asked.

"I have told you." She smiled as she leaned closer, her lips lightly brushing his.

He reached behind her head and grabbed a handful of curls, holding her head in place, "If this is a trick-"

"Viserys-"She used his name this time, "Please."

"Can I trust you?" he whispered against her lips as he kissed her.
