Shoshanna did her best to calm herself before she and her handmaiden had made it back to camp. Fearing if Viserys saw her so upset, he would punish her or worse. He would find Robb. Shaking the thought from her head, she placed her hand on her stomach and became sick as a flood of emotions overtook her again. Breathing heavily, she knelt.
"M'lady, are you alright? "Nina placed her hand on her back. "Shall I fetch someone?"
Shoshanna shook her head. "No, I am alright. I just need a moment."
A few moments passed, Shoshanna was able to stand and control herself as they ventured back into the edge of the camp. Careful to not have anyone notice them, they hurriedly went to Shoshanna's tent, A guard stood outside.
"Yes?" Shoshanna asked.
"The king has requested your presence this evening." The guard gruffly told her before taking his leave.
Nina was softly humming as she brushed Shoshanna's wet curls over the edge of the silver bath Shoshanna had asked her to prepare earlier. She knew it wouldn't take long before a visit by Viserys was made. She was defying him.
Shoshanna sponged off her arms, smiling to herself as she knew the tune Nina was humming. It bought good thoughts to her mind after a very emotional night and even more day.
Hearing a rustling outside of her tent, the women looked at each other, knowing what was about to happen, Viserys stormed inside. A look of anger upon his face. "Was your presence not requested?" He shouted.
Shoshanna turned to her handmaiden, "Nina, you may retire for the evening. "
"M'lady, are you sure?" Nina asked, worried.
"Yes." Shoshanna nodded her head and gave her a soft smile. She saw the twitch in Nina's eyebrow. "Go on."
Once Nina had exited the tent, Shoshanna turned her attention to Viserys' who had not taken his eyes from her the whole time he stood inside the tent.
"Are your incapable of addressing me without shouting?" Shoshanna asked.
"Why must you be so difficult?" VIserys wondered, more to himself than to her. He came to stand directly in front of the bath, causing Shoshanna to look up if she were to meet his gaze. "A Queen often enjoys spending time her king."
"You wish for me to enjoy my time with you?" Shoshanna bit her lip in confusion.
"Do not bite your lip…" Visery's growled. "Your visit had intrigued me. I had hoped we could discuss such matter over a meal, but in a bath seems to suit." He smirked as he unbuckled his belt, letting his sword softly hit the ground, leaning over to pull his boots off.
"You cannot be serious!" Shoshanna shouted, as she looked up at him.
"Very, my dear. "He shrugged out of his jacket, standing there briefly as he saw her eyes dart to his chest and then back up to meet his eyes. Grinning as she jerked her head away when he reached for his pants.
Her face blushed crimson red as she felt the water slosh as he was lowering himself into the water. Feeling his legs straight out beside her, she grabbed the side of the bath and scooted closer to the side.
Viserys sighed relief as the warm water met his body. "No need for modesty, my dear. I have seen your body – ", He smirked as he looked at her, "I have kissed every inch of it."
"You bruised it as well. My gods, why must you be so crude?" Shoshanna mumbled, embarrassed as she replayed the events of their Dothraki wedding night over in her mind as he brushed her hip with his leg, her sudden jerk causing him to let out a deep chuckle.
"Those were not the movements I was met with last night." He continued to smirk.
"Why must you be so...so...you?" She asked him.
"I cannot be anyone else, my dear." Was his simply reply as he grabbed her and sat her on top of his lap.
"Your Grace, please…" Shoshanna tried to cover herself.
Grabbing her hands, he held them in his as he rested both of their arms on the side of the bath. Glancing down, he looked at her smiling. "This will only be as uncomfortable as you make it."
She sat there, not moving, not saying a word for a few moments before she forced herself to relax slightly.
"See my dear?"
"You wished to discuss something with me, what is it?" She asked, not looking at him.
Viserys let go of her hand to cup her chin, turning her to face him. "You had hoped we would become friends. I am merely expressing my willingness to accommodate my dear Queen."
"And if I do not play the part of your willing Queen?" Shoshanna snapped.
"The fierce tongue of yours, "Shaking his head, "Certain actions have consequences as you learned, my dear." Viserys growled. Sighing, he seemed to soften, almost remorseful, "The dragon is a dangerous beast." He had fully relinquished his hold on her hands, and instead rested his arm on the side of the bath, using his other hand to let go of her chin and push a stray piece of hair behind her ear, before twirling a piece between his fingers.
"Do you have its blood in your veins?" She asked, immediately regretting it.
He smiled, "It is entirely possible."
"If you do not, then it is the man who is the beast. You cannot blame an animal for the actions of man if man and animal are not one in the same. "Shoshanna spoke softly. "You rule with fear and wish to rule me that way."
Viserys exhaled deeply before he answered, "My dear Queen, I wish to rule you with anything but fear." He kissed her forehead as he stood and stepped out of the bath. Drying his body off, he dressed in silence and took his leave from her tent, leaving her in utter confusion at what he said, or confessed.
