Kagome blushes. "That obvious?"
"Only to an old woman. And your friends," Kaede says, chuckling.
Her face falls. "I'm not good at hiding how I feel."
"Lord Sesshoumaru engages your mind often?" She picks up a basket, sorting through her herbs.
Groaning, Kagome reaches out to help. "That obvious?"
Kaede smiles. "Only to an old woman."
"And my friends?" Kagome tosses back, laughing.
An old eye twinkles.
