It had been a month after you and Loki regained your memories and everything had gone back to normal. You started having to rush to the bathroom every so often, sometimes caused by random smells.

"I'm sure it's just the flu," you tried to reassure Loki while you sat in the infirmary waiting for the blood tests to come back.

"Can't be too careful," Loki kissed the top of your head as Tony walked in.

"Congrats," Tony said handing you the tablet he was carrying. "You're pregnant."

"What?" You took the tablet and read the results of the blood test. You were, in fact, pregnant.

"About three months along actually," Tony took the tablet back and you looked to see Loki pale as a ghost.

"I'm going to be a father," you took Loki's hand, rubbing his knuckles.

"Going to be half Asgardian and half Jotun," Tony tapped at his tablet. "But otherwise, it's pretty healthy."

"That's good," you smiled, still in shock but happy none the less. "We should probably let your brother know."

"What about Mother and Father," Loki took a seat in one of stools. "What about your parents?"

"They'll be happy to have a link to the throne," you sighed. You never had a relationship with your parents and thanks to your training to be a guard, you never had to interact with them much.

Except when they caused scenes at the main palace.

"Y/N," your mother yelled for you just inside the palace, blocked by guards, your father standing a couple steps behind. "Come here and explain to these guards that I have a right to be here!"

"Mother," you walked up to her. "Just because you are a noble, doesn't mean you can go anywhere you like."

"You are my daughter," your mother tried pushing past the guards. "You can just make them let me-"

"It doesn't work like that and you know that," you sighed. "I am a guard-in-training."

"You've been training for almost ten years," your mother hissed. "And you have nothing to show for it?"

"I am graduating once I pass my exam," your irritation leaking through your voice. "Besides, you cannot be in the main palace unless you are have actual business."

"Don't you dare speak to your mother that way," your father finally spoke. "After everything we had done."

"For your own benefit," you shouted.

"Y/N," the stern voice of your mentor, the Einherjar Guard, made you shift into your attention stance. "That is no way for a guard-in-training to act."

"I apologize for my daughter," your mother's voice quickly turned soft as the Einherjar waved his hand at the palace guards to let your parents through. "We were only trying to check on your daughter to see how she was doing."

"Yes, m'lord," your father walked over to you and gripped your shoulders tightly. "I apologize if my daughter has been difficult in her studies."

"Quite the contrary," the Einherjar spoke, "she has been an exemplary student, excelling in her training."

"It is all thanks to your wonderful teaching," your mother pandered. "She was always a rebellious child. She often never appreciated the things we gave her."

"Children often don't recognize what their parents do for them until they are adults themselves," the Einherjar nodded, you couldn't help but feel hurt that your mentor didn't seem to have your back.

"Y/N is far from becoming an adult," your father squeezed your shoulders too tightly and you winced in pain.

"I could say the same about the two of you," the Einherjar spoke casually, his words almost going over your head.

"Excuse me," your mother spoke, just as shock as you were at his words.

"You storm the main palace demanding to speak with a guard-in-training, knowing full well that they are to focus on their training, especially with their graduation exam only weeks away," the Einherjar continued. "Not only that, but making such a ruckus that it is distracting the studies of the king's children."

"We never meant to cause-," you father's grip loosened, and with a quick nod from the Einherjar, you shook off your father and took your place behind him.

"Be grateful that it is not Odin himself making such complaints," the Einherjar continued. "If you were to leave now, this whole incident can be forgotten."

"She is our daughter," your mother stepped forward towards you, stopping when your mentor drew his sword.

"As of this moment, not anymore," the Einherjar voice rang through the halls. "Y/N is becoming an adult soon and will be the personal guard to one of the princes. It would be disgraceful if she were to be associated with beggars such as yourselves."

"Y-you can't just do that," you could hear the anger in your father's voice.

"Be grateful that I am not stripping the two of you of your titles," your mentor waved the guards who began dragging your, now, former parents out of the palace. "I will not be so lenient the next time you cause a disturbance."

The two you use to call your parents fought for a moment before finally walking out of the palace, looking back to you with anger.

"Thank you sir," you spoke, confused that it was that easy to break off ties with your parents. "You did not have to step in as you did. I apolo-"

"I need to talk to you anyway," your mentor spoke softly.

Too softly.

"Oh shit."

"What?" You never heard your mentor sound like that just got caught doing something they weren't suppose to. "Loki?"

"Guilty," Loki smiled and shifted back into his original form.

"What is going on?" your mentor spoke behind you and you quickly turned and returned to attention.

"My parents had tried to meet with me and-"

"And I sent them away," Loki finished.

The Einherjar looked between you and Loki, finally sighing in defeat.

"Prince Loki, refrain from shifting forms and return to your studies."

"It was difficult when there was so much noise," Loki defended himself. "Besides I need to talk with Y/N."

"That can wait-," the Einherjar stated simply.

"But-"

"Until her exam is over," your mentor finished and raised a hand when Loki tried to argue me.

"I talk to you later," Loki leaned over and kissed your cheek before running off to the library.

You couldn't help but giggle watching Loki run off, shutting up when your mentor turned his glare to you.

"You need to stop encouraging that boy," you mentor began walking towards the training arena and you quickly followed behind.

"I was not aware that Loki had taken your form, sir," you defending yourself. "I apologize for my parents behavior."

"The child should never pay for the sins of the parent," the Einherjar stated calmly.

"Yes sir."

"Come, your graduation is drawing near. If you still wish to become Prince Loki's personal guard, there is still much you must learn." Einherjar pushed open the doors to the arena where a group of soldiers were waiting.

"Yes sir," you too your position among your siblings in arms.

"Y/N," Loki called you out of your thoughts. "Where were you?"

"When you pretending to be the Einherjar when my parents came to the palace," you told him.

"Oh," Loki took a second racking his mind. It seemed that he still had some difficulties remembering everything. "I think I was trying to find you for something."

"Do you remember?" you asked but Loki just shook his head. "Must not have been important."

"I remember it was important," Loki defended. "I just don't remember what."

"Give it time," Tony spoke up. "You lost eighteen years worth of memories for over what, a thousand years? Consider yourself lucky that you remembered anything."

"Come on," you stood up, pulling Loki out from his seat. "We got good news to share with everyone."

You left Tony to his lab and went to the where Thor was already drinking at the bar of the living room. He noticed your arrival and raised a glass.

"Y/N, come! Nothing cures an illness like Asgardian mead," he handed up the glass and you set it back on the bar.

"Sorry Thor, but I can't be drinking for awhile," you smiled and Thor raised an eyebrow in question. "I'm pregnant."

The gears turned slowly for Thor the realization dawning on him. "You're pregnant! Congratulations Brother," Thor clapped Loki on the back, causing him to take a step forward to stop from falling.

"Why are we celebrating," Natasha, along with Bruce and Clint, came into Livingroom, having heard the yells.

"I am going to be an uncle," Thor laughed, picking you up and spinning you around. You began to get queasy and slapped his arms to put you down. "Sorry."

"Misunderstandings," you began but had to stop to avoid from losing the breakfast you were barely able to keep down that morning.

"And ass-kissing," Thor laughed.

"Congrats," Natasha helped you to a couch while the guys cheered for Loki. "How far?"

"Three months," you smiled as Steve entered the room and joined in the celebration. Thor had pulled out all the alcohol and was urging everyone, except you, to raise several toasts.

"Cairo," Natasha asked, taking the offered drink from Bruce as he sat with you, the excitement making him anxious.

"Cairo," you nodded laughing with Natasha.

"Do you know the sex?" Bruce asked.

"Not yet," you answered. "I'm more concern about the fact it's half Jotun."

"Jotun?" Bruce's confusion was clear on his face.

"Frost Giant," Natasha explained.

"You're a frost giant?" Bruce asked shocked.

"Loki," you corrected. "Don't ask too many questions."

Bruce nodded and was pulled away to have another toast.

"Wait until Father hears about. . ." Thor's joyful revel lessen to concern. "What is Father going to think?"

The Midgardians looked between you, Loki, and Thor confused.

"Why would your father have a problem with having a grandchild?" Bruce asked.

"I was exiled from Asgard," you reminded him. "If he were to find out that I was carrying the Prince's child, it would put Odin in a precarious situation."

"He's a king," Clint spoke up. "He could just rescind your banishment or something."

"Sure, welcome the person who nearly killed his son back to Asgard," you laughed watching the Midgardians begin to understand the situation. "Plus, anyone on Asgard could consider me using Loki to not only get back into Asgard, but raise my status."

"Weren't you a noble," Bruce asked and you nodded.

"I was the child of two lesser nobles who's marriage was arranged," you explained. "Which allowed me to become a palace guard, but my family was barely a couple steps up above the commonwealth."

"There's also the matter that Odin may be incline to kill you before you can give birth so the news doesn't spread back home," Loki continued, wedging himself behind you and pulled you into his arms. "Not that he would be able to get anywhere near you."

"But he will find out sooner or later," you leaned against Loki, his magic easing the morning sickness. "It would be better to tell him."

"Might as well paint a target on your back," Thor scoffed, pouring his pint of mean down his throat.

"He doesn't need to know right now, does he," Natasha spoke up.

"He not known for being level-headed when someone tries to hide information from him," Loki objected. "Maybe if we told Mother first."

"Yes," Thor nodded. "She would ease the information on Father and could persuade him not to do anything."

"But he still may think this is a ruse for Y/N to be able to return to Asgard," Loki reminded his brother.

"I don't care about going back to Asgard," you shrugged, Thor looked at you like you grew a second head. "I've gotten use to living on Midgard."

"You enjoyed living in solitude that much," Clint chuckled. "Sounds like paradise."

"Minus the 'on the run' aesthetic," you amended your statement. "But still, it was much better than being used as a pawn to raise my parents' status or the insane amount of etiquette involved."

"When are we going?" Thor asked. "We should go this weekend."

"You two have fun," you started to get up and walk to the bathroom, you felt your stomach churning.

"You're coming with us," Thor said.

"What," you turned too quickly and had to turn back around to race to the bathroom. Loki followed you and rubbed your back until your stomach calmed down. "We've been over this. I can't go."

"We'll protect you," Thor was in the doorway, Natasha sneaked by to hand Loki a glass of water to hand to you and walked back to the livingroom.

"Sure, let's hope on the magic rainbow that isn't making me sick just thinking about it," you paused to take a drink of water. "Then tell your parents that his attempted murderer and overall traitor to the throne is with their adopted son's child and is going to be half Jotun. It's going to be a blast."

"That's the attitude, Thor laughed, clapping you on the back. You turned back to the toilet bowl and Loki began rubbing your back.

"That was sarcasm, brother," Loki tried to calm your stomach with magic but it only made it worse.

"Even if your parents were willing to forgive," your stomach started to calm down. "The rest of them people of Asgard aren't going to be too happy about it."

"No one is going to do anything," Thor continued and Loki helped you stand up.

"Let's talk about this another time," Loki grab a hand towel and handed it to you as you washed up. "I'm going to take Y/N to lay down."

"Now, that sounds like paradise," you laughed, giving Thor a hug and headed to your bedroom.
