Sango doesn't ask questions. She simply holds her friend, rubbing her back as the girl cries.
Shippou's perched on the slayer and leans over to give little pats to her shoulder in an attempt to comfort.
"Perhaps it would be best if you take a break," Miroku says, crouching next to the women. His eyes are kind and understanding, and he carefully rests a hand on Kagome's head, smoothing her hair. "You haven't been home in a while."
Inuyasha joins them. "Listen to Miroku. Your mother's probably worried."
Kagome doesn't like it, but they're right.
She needs to go home.
