Shizuka Joestar stared longingly outside the window of the small private plane she was being flown in, her pale face lightly pressed against the thick glass. She was nervous, excited but somewhere inside of herself, she was mad. She was being set on her first mission for the Speedwagon Foundation. She had an average build, a pink streak in her dark brown, which was held in a short bob cut. A single star tattoo under her left eye, which was a copper brown. She sat upright in the airplane chair, with a slight slouch.

She had her stand, Achtung Baby since she was born. Having been trained and experimenting with its ability to make whatever it touched or things that surrounded it invisible. Shizuka was 7 when her adopted father told her that she wouldn't be able to tell people of her unique ability and explained the concept of a Stand.

"A stand is a manifestation of your fighting spirit. We call them stands because they stand behind you. Haha. They have special powers and can help if another stand user attacks you. Stand Users are attracted to other Stand Users. You have a stand, you were born with one. I helped save you back in Japan with your brother Josuke, then I adopted you."

Eventually after her years of begging resulted in her father allowing her to investigate the pictures he had been taking, of a single school in Colorado. Even in his bedridden state he still wanted to make sure he used his stand to the best of its ability. Shizuka was to investigate the school and see if anything was weird or bizarre. As she was stuck in thought the plane's pilot stated that the two would be landing shortly. Shizuka would be registered under the age of 16, in the 10th grade.

The plane landed in the large airport and Shizuka walked out of the plane enthusiastically. Leaving the airport to find someone to take her towards the hotel where she was staying. After waiting outside she ordered an Uber. A few minutes later a silvery metallic SUV drove up and parked besides Shizuka. Its tire trim sparkling like a star. The back door popped open, allowing Shizuka access to this platinum stallion of a car.

"Where ya goin' lady?", the Uber driver said in a crude voice.

"To the Maximillion Grande Hotel. I'll be staying here in Colorado for a while."

The uber driver shrugged and switched the car into drive. Shizuka looked outside of a window once more at the beautiful sunset. The sky was a mix of rose gold and vibrant pigments. It seemed as though a painter had poured her soul into the Colorado sky. The pigments complementing each other like a loving couple.

The uber driver stopped a quick walk away from the Hotel. Checking in was easy and she made her way upwards. Opening the door to her room blasted her nose with the smell of peaches and summer.

"I could get used to the Speedwagon Foundation's missions if this is the quality of my stay."

Smiling she slunk into the hotel's luxurious queen bed, drowning her excitement and worries for the next day's work in its magnificence. A piece of her wished that this had happened much sooner, that she had been trusted with work and to start her own bizarre adventure. She saw this as a rite of passage, to prove that she was a Joestar. Her worries washed away as her face melted into the lavish pillow and she started dreaming. She woke up in an empty plain, made of pink and purple smoke. It felt as fluffy as water was wet. It was all that stretched out for seemingly miles, if not forever. Shizuka felt multiple things crawling up her arms and legs, but she was seemingly unable to turn her neck. For what felt like hours she was sitting there waiting to see whatever was crawling up her limbs. As soon as whatever nightmare bugs could enter her line of sight she woke up in a cold sweat.

Shizuka felt her sweat, it dripped across her skin and felt like cold metal bullets were rolling down her back. She shot up, frantically looking around her body then her bed, hoping to not see those demonic insects. It was still decently early in the morning, but Shizuka couldn't sleep. Her mind was scattered for hours as she tried to figure out what she had seen. It could've been a regular nightmare, but her just landing in Colorado to investigate stands was too convenient. Nevertheless, Shizuka pulled herself out of bed and into the uniform that had been delivered late last night. She changed in the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. The navy blue shirt had a patch on it with a large C, the khaki pants were held up by a black leather belt. Her white sneakers had magenta stripes and cyan stars. She decided to put on a thicker purple jacket. It was decorated with 2 pins, one peace sign, and one cool S.

She found a taxi outside of the hotel and directed them to the school, she arrived in front of a huge campus. The base building was seemingly 3 stories tall and had other buildings branching out from it. She thought she could spy some student dorms towards the back. Students were pouring into the double doors and lounging around outside before classes started. Shizuka looked into her backpack and pulled out a single sheet of paper, it showed her class schedule. Her first class was math, on the second floor of the massive building.

Shizuka walked into the school confidently. She had a bit of pep in her step as she strode down the hall. She caught glances from most of the students, as would any new kid. After looking outside of each of the mundane classrooms, finally finding the one that she would be situated in. Shizuka walked into the classroom and the teacher looked at her confused. Then as if a switch powering a lightbulb went off in his head he said,

"Oh well you must be our new student, you can sit down in the empty seat towards the back."

Shizuka glanced toward where the teacher had pointed and saw the aforementioned empty seat. She was in the seat closest to the left wall, not far enough back to be seen directly out the window, but close enough to catch a glance of the other buildings on campus. The boy to her left whispered, "Hi I'm Jody, what's your name?" This caught Shizuka off guard. She looked over and to her shock saw the boy from one of Joseph's pictures. Hermit Purple had taken photos of the school and multiple students talking and lounging around in groups. This kid was the only one to have a picture dedicated solely to himself. His brown skin complemented his darker brown hair. Even for his age, he didn't have any facial hair on him. He resembled someone Shizuka had seen, but she couldn't place a finger on whom.

"Oh um, I'm Shizuka Joes- Jones. Shizuka Jones."

"Well that's an interesting name, where are you from Ms. Shizuka Jones?"

Shizuka wasn't ready for the barrage of questions or to find one of the most potentially deadly stand users. "Um, I was born in Japan, but I was raised in New York." Jody smiled and Shizuka didn't know how to feel. She was sent here to find this kid, to solidify if he was friend or foe, she felt as though she had known him forever. But also felt something around him. He felt so menacing, that he held near limitless power at his fingertips.

"Why is he questioning me so much? Is he interrogating me because he's figured me out? Or is he just being nice? I can't tell."

While contemplating this Shizuka drifted off, deep in thought, "I'd love to be back home, messing around with Holly and Jolyne. I hope Jotaro can see what I'm doing, he'd be proud." When she was 12 her nephew Jotaro Kujo was killed by Enrico Pucci. She was devastated, her adopted father was incredibly old and while he loved her so, couldn't give her the childhood most children had. Out of all of their interactions, her favorites were of the Stardust Crusaders. The story of her father and nephew going on an international adventure to defeat the evil vampire DIO. When Jotaro died she went to his funeral with her sister Holly Kujo and her great-niece Jolyne Kujo. He was buried next to Noriaki Kakyoin and the empty grave of Muhammad Avdol.

Holly was devastated, as was Jolyne. Joseph didn't seem to care, but everyone knew that he was crippled more inside than outside. Ever since then Shizuka had begged to go on a mission for the Speedwagon Foundation. Something to prove that she could go on her own bizarre adventure and to prove to herself that she was a Joestar, even without the birthmark.

"You ok Ms. Shizuka?"

"Oh just lost in thought, sorry for staring."

She snapped back to reality as Jody noticed her staring. Jody smiled the kind smile she had very quickly grown accustomed to. She also noticed the teacher's lesson. It seemed as though something was behind the teacher, a figure standing menacingly obstructed from view. Jody was staring at the blackboard. But on closer examination, he was also staring daggers at the stand.

"Are you good at math Ms. Shizuka?" He said, looking back at her, "because I always have room to tutor."

She once again snapped back to reality once again, "Um, yeah I'm okay at it, I'm down to tutor." 'She knew this was a lie, the butlers' at the Joestar mansion taught her perfectly in all of the fields of study.' Jody's smile felt fake and deceptive now that she saw him looking at a stand. Shizuka knew he had one, just not what it did. Shizuka glanced back over at the stand, only to find that it had vanished as fast as it appeared.

Still on edge, Shizuka continued the rest of her day and made it to lunch where Jody asked her if she would like to take a tour around the school.

"I can show you our campus, it's like a maze if you don't know your way around." '

She accepted, mainly to see if there were any other stand users.

"What's his game? He's either actually friendly or somehow exploiting me for information." Shizuka muttered as she stood up and left her final class.
