Note: This story is my first ever Fara-centric story. In addition to that, it's a Fara x Sabre story that takes place during the events of Aliens To Them. As a warning, this story is rated M, so there will be a moment or two that aren't safe for work. If you wish to read a Star Fox story that contains nothing sexual or gory, turn back and read something that isn't M-rated. Now that I have given that warning, let's get on with the story. Enjoy!
Bonding
It was a sunny morning on Corneria as Fara Phoenix was walking through Corneria City. She was going to pay a visit to someone in particular. In fact, the fennec was going to see someone special. Upon reaching a house near the end of the city, Fara walked up to the doorstep. She then knocked on the door, calling through it.
"Sabre, I'm here!"
"I'm coming!" A young man with a British accent called through the door.
Fara patiently waited by the door. Moments prior to when she left her home, she called her boyfriend, Sabre Glidewell. The two agreed to go on an adventure together, hence was the reason Fara was waiting for Sabre. The two met nearly two months after the Aparoid invasion was stopped, and they had been going out ever since. After a minute, the door opened and a brown wolf stepped out.
"Sorry if I'm late, Randorn was helping me clean up." He spoke.
"That's okay, Sabre." Fara said. "In fact, you're just in time for me to call my Arwing so that we can head to Katina."
"What for?" Sabre asked.
"It's just for a little outing that I have planned." The fennec stated.
Fara then got out her communicator and began to type a message to the Cornerian Army garage. While she did that, Sabre stood by the door and smiled. Ever since Cerinia got destroyed, the former Knight felt that he would never be happy again. However, not only was he rescued by Star Fox and the Cornerian Army, but he met Krystal again. Once he got to Corneria with Randorn, Sabre met Fara and, after they got to know each other, they started going out. When they heard about this, their friends, especially Krystal and Randorn, became supportive of their relationship.
Now that it has been nearly a year since they started dating, Sabre felt like doing something special with Fara. In fact, he was planning to surprise her after they got done on Katina. Reaching into his pants pocket, the former Knight of Cerinia pulled out a small black box. Being opened, the box contained a golden engagement ring. Hesitating somewhat, Sabre put the box back in his pocket and went over to Fara.
"Fara, I need to ask you something." He stated.
"Well, go ahead." Fara said.
Sabre swallowed, then tried to get the box containing the ring out of his pocket.
"Fara, will you -" Sabre began to speak, before something cut him off.
"Oh, my Arwing's here!" Fara stated.
The black Arwing was brought near Randorn's house, glistening like a perfectly ripe fruit. The ship had been cleaned prior to being brought to where Fara and Sabre were. Opening up the cockpit, Fara got in.
"C'mon, Sabre!" She called.
Sabre was never one for flying. In fact, his service as a Knight on Cerinia was reserved for the ground only. While some of his fellow Knights also had piloting licenses, the brown wolf did not. He was afraid of flying, being superstitious about what would happen if he did something wrong. Nonetheless, he loved Fara and respected her status as a pilot. After all, they fell in love a few days after Sabre came to Corneria.
Without hesitation, Sabre made his way to Fara's Arwing, climbing in behind her. After that, the cockpit closed up. The Arwing then started up, taking flight. The ship exited Corneria's atmosphere, entering space. After that, Fara began to steer it towards Katina. Sabre only sat back and closed his eyes, waiting for when they arrived on Katina.
Katina was almost completely empty, save for a few people hanging out at the resort. The resort in question was built near the mountains, so its visitors had a good view of the horizon. Fara landed her Arwing near the entrance, opening the cockpit shortly after. Out from the ship came both her and Sabre, with the latter climbing down to the ground. After that, the fennec and the brown wolf entered the resort.
"I've already rented a room for us, so we're okay." Fara stated.
Sabre's eyes widened as he saw the lobby. To him, it was surprising how big the resort was compared to the outside. However, the brown wolf set aside his shock as he followed Fara to the receptionist's desk. Once they got there, the fennec spoke to the receptionist: a golden retriever.
"Phoenix, party of two." Fara stated.
"Yes," the receptionist said, "your room is upstairs. It's room 202."
"Thanks." The fennec said.
Fara and Sabre took the elevator upstairs, talking to each other as they waited for it to stop.
"I've never used an elevator before." Sabre spoke.
"And I can tell that you've never been in a resort before." Fara responded.
"My duty as a Knight of Cerinia meant that I wasn't allowed to take vacations or even do anything with the royal family, other than talking with them and playing with Krystal and her siblings." The brown wolf said. "Also, I was often prone to using the stairs or ladders whenever I went up or down in a building."
"We should all be lucky that Opal has been locked up for good." The fennec told her boyfriend. "I mean, considering how you, Randorn, Krystal, Krystal's mother and Wolf suffered because of him, I can't even BEGIN to imagine how he'd treat everyone on Corneria!"
"Me neither." The former Knight stated.
The elevator stopped, with the door opening up. After that, Fara and Sabre began to walk to the room Fara had rented out. However, they heard a familiar voice behind them.
"Fara! Sabre!"
It was Bill. Fara and Sabre turned around and saw the gray hound standing near the elevator door. He looked happy, even having his helmet off.
"Hi Bill, how are you?" Sabre greeted.
"I'm doing great!" Bill said.
"That's good to hear, man." Fara said.
"Are you staying here as well?" Sabre asked.
"Actually," Bill stated, "I'm heading back to Corneria. The General needs me for something. See you around, guys!"
"Bye Bill!" The brown wolf and the fennec chorused.
Bill entered the elevator and left, which allowed Fara and Sabre to continue walking to the room the former had rented out. Once they got to the room, the fennec used her key to open up the door. After that, she let the brown wolf in the room before her. Now that the couple was in, they took some time to get adjusted to their surroundings.
"This is a rather nice place." Sabre stated.
"Yeah, it's somewhere to stay when you need some rest and relaxation." Fara said. "Then again, there's also a spa."
"What shall we do?" The brown wolf asked.
"We can do whatever we want, just as long as it isn't illegal." The fennec said.
"Want to order some room service?" He asked.
"Maybe for dinner," she answered, "let's just hang out for now."
Sabre sat down on the bed, with Fara sitting next to him. The two looked at each other, engaging in a conversation.
"Well, we've been together for a while." Sabre spoke.
"Yes," Fara said, "but we have Krystal to thank for introducing you to all of us."
"Actually, I met Bill while Randorn and I were on Fortuna." The brown wolf said. "I did manage to contact Krystal in my dreams, even if Randorn and I didn't see her again until Star Fox came for us after Maria killed Adrian DiMaggio."
"And to think, I believed those absurd lies about Cerinians." The fennec stated. "I was such an idiot to trust what those racist jerks said about Cerinia, given how they didn't set a FOOT on the planet! It wasn't until Krystal showed me some pictures of Cerinia that I finally figured out what it was like."
"And that must've been after Krystal beat you up?" He asked.
"Yeah, but we shouldn't worry about her." She said. "Besides, Krystal can take care of herself, being a telepath and all. But, let's not make this all about her."
"Agreed, she's probably hearing our conversation with her telepathy."
Sabre and Fara lie down on the bed, looking at the ceiling as they continued their conversation.
"Sometimes," Fara spoke, "I just wish that there weren't threats to the galaxy anymore. Andross' army and the Aparoids were enough."
"Let's not forget that Randorn, Bill and I had to work with Maria to stop Adrian DiMaggio before he started his galactic conquest." Sabre stated.
"And I, along with some of my teammates, were kidnapped by gangsters, who were employed by a former soldier of Corneria that became a cyborg." The fennec said. "We're just lucky that the General had a Plan B."
Sabre let out a sigh and shook his head. Not being there when Fara got kidnapped was something he regretted. While she managed to get free and played a part in rescuing her fellow teammates, Sabre was unable to help out during the mission, given how he had been busy with some personal business. It had been nearly a week since the Cornerian Knights had beaten the Mauricio Family, the Zimmerman Brothers and Crimson Unit #21, but Sabre still felt horrible for not helping out. Fara could see the guilty look on his face, which made her concerned.
"What's wrong?" Fara asked.
"I'm sorry." Sabre said.
"For what?" The fennec asked.
"For not helping to save you from the gangsters that kidnapped you, Fox, Falco, Peppy, Slippy, Miyu and Fay." The brown wolf said. "I should've done more, even if it meant working with the Cornerian Knights."
"Sabre," she said, "don't blame yourself for that. It's true, you could've helped the others, but our captors would've recognized you as an associate of Star Fox. While you haven't done much with us, the fact that you know us would've gotten you captured."
"I just wish that I could overcome my lack of motivation for flying in order to become a pilot."
"George is the same way, except that he's afraid of flying."
"He's not the only one!"
Fara and Sabre burst out laughing, their spirits somewhat lifted. After that, they looked at each other, winding up sharing a kiss. Breaking apart for air, the two sat up.
"Ready for this?" Fara asked as she took off her jacket.
"Sure." Sabre answered, taking his shirt off and unbuttoning his pants.
After shedding their clothing, Fara and Sabre shared another kiss. The lovers then began to have sex, starting with Sabre getting an erection from the kiss. Upon noticing it, Fara began stroking the hardened organ. Then, the fennec sucked on the brown wolf, occasionally licking his erection. After a minute, she felt him ejaculate in her mouth. She pulled herself off, with some sperm still attached to her boyfriend's penis.
"Had your fill, eh?" Sabre asked.
"Not quite." Fara answered, sitting on Sabre's lap. "Lay down, little man."
Sabre did so, laying down on his back. After that, Fara climbed onto his belly, inserting his erection into her vagina. Once it was in, the fennec began to ride the brown wolf, savoring their embrace. The former Knight of Cerinia held onto his girlfriend's hips, rocking her up and down on him. The two moaned and panted, enjoying what they were doing.
"Don't stop!" Fara moaned.
"I won't, not until we're done!" Sabre moaned.
Fara continued to ride Sabre, who increased his rhythm as he rocked her on him. As he did so, the fennec could feel the brown wolf's erection warm up inside her. It got warmer the more she was being penetrated, which meant that his climax was imminent. In fact, Fara could feel Sabre go deeper into her.
"Oh God, it's happening!" Sabre moaned.
All of a sudden, Fara felt Sabre's warm semen fill up her caves. She slowly pulled herself off of her boyfriend as it happened, some of his manhood leaking out of her. After that, the fennec lie down next to the brown wolf, kissing him on the cheek.
"We probably should have worn protection when we did this." Sabre stated.
"It's our first time, don't worry." Fara said.
"You're right, I shouldn't worry so much." The brown wolf sighed.
"Yeah." The fennec said. "Let's relax for a bit, then we'll figure out dinner."
The two lie down on the bed, letting their bodies relax after sex.
A few days later, Fara and Sabre were at the lounge, relaxing by the fire. That was until Fara got a call on her communicator. The call in question was from General Pepper. Upon seeing it, the fennec answered the call.
"Fara, are you there?" Pepper asked.
"Yes." Fara stated. "What is it, General? Sabre and I are busy."
"Fox, Krystal and Wolf have went through a portal, and it closed up before anyone could go after them!" The hound dog cried.
"What?!" Sabre was shocked.
"Don't worry, we're on our way!" Fara spoke into her communicator.
"No," the General stated, "don't come. We've got data on the portal, so I've got a plan. You and Sabre continue doing what you're doing. Pepper out!"
The call ended, allowing Fara to put the communicator back in her pocket.
"Oh dear, they've been sent through a portal?" Sabre spoke. "We might never see them again!"
"Don't worry, the portal might be back." Fara calmly said, in spite of being worried herself. "If not, I'm sure that they'll build a portal that can find where Fox, Krystal and Wolf are at."
"I hope that you're right about this." The brown wolf said.
Fara kissed him on the forehead, which got her a kiss on the cheek as a response. After that, she went back to the room with Sabre. Once they got there, the two saw that someone had ordered room service.
"I didn't order that." Sabre spoke.
"Neither did I." Fara said.
The door to the room next to theirs opened up. Out from the room came a maid: an Alaskan malamute in a blue uniform.
"Excuse me," Fara spoke, "but we didn't order room service."
"Don't worry, ma'am," the maid told her, "it's all paid for."
"But who ordered it?" Sabre asked.
"Him." She pointed over to someone.
Fara and Sabre looked to where the maid was pointing. Standing near them was a monkey with white fur and red eyes. He was younger than the both of them, being an inch shorter than Sabre. This boy was none other than Dash Bowman, grandson of the infamous Andross. He had been working with the Cornerian Army, so it surprised the couple that he had ordered room service for them.
"You did this?" Fara asked.
"Well," Dash spoke, "I don't want to brag, but, yes, I did. Enjoy, guys!"
"Why don't you stay with us for a bit?" Sabre asked.
"I can't, the General might need me." The monkey said. "See you around, guys!"
"Bye Dash!" Fara said as he started to walk off.
"Bye!" Sabre yelled.
After that, Fara and Sabre entered their room with the food. Once they got in, they opened each container that had food in it. There was pizza, fried fish, french fries, pickles, corn, breadsticks and fruit salad. Not wanting it to go to waste, Fara and Sabre ate the food. As they did so, the fennec and the brown wolf got down to speaking.
"I can't believe that Fox, Krystal and Wolf went through a portal." Sabre spoke.
"I can't believe it, either." Fara stated. "But, I'm sure that General Pepper is working on something with the Cornerian Army in order to save them."
"What if they don't?" The brown wolf asked. "What if Fox, Wolf and Krystal are stuck in another dimension for the rest of their days?!"
"Sabre," the fennec kindly said, "don't worry. I agree that it would be horrible to never see our friends again, but we're here to relax. Besides, the General might be building a portal to reach the dimension Fox, Krystal and Wolf are stuck in."
"I suppose you're right, I shouldn't worry myself to death." The Cerinian said, his spirit somewhat lifted.
Fara then kissed Sabre on the cheek, which made him blush a little. After that, the two did what they wanted for the evening, culminating in them taking a bath together. Once they got done with the bath, the fennec and the brown wolf got ready for bed, taking turns to get dressed for the night. After they got dressed for bed, the couple lie down and got covered up.
"How long do we have this room for?" Sabre asked.
"We have it until the first week of August." Fara answered.
"And it's still June?" The brown wolf spoke. "Looks like we have plenty of time to ourselves."
"Yeah." The fennec said prior to falling asleep. "Now head to sleep, we need our rest."
"Indeed." The Cerinian said as he fell asleep.
Throughout the remainder of June and July, Fara and Sabre hung out at the resort, occasionally leaving the building to head to other places. The couple would even receive calls from their allies, mainly about progress on the mission to retrieve Fox, Krystal and Wolf from the dimension they were stuck in. In addition, they would see Bill, Fay, Miyu, Panther and Lucy at the resort, speaking with them when they had the time. When August was just around the corner, Sabre decided to make his move. Calling Fara up to their room, he patiently waited for her to arrive. When she arrived, the fennec saw her boyfriend standing near the door.
"Fara." Sabre greeted.
"What did you call me up here for?" Fara asked.
"I want you to come in the room for this." The brown wolf said.
Fara did so, approaching Sabre.
"Now that I'm in, what do you need?" She asked.
"Fara Phoenix," Sabre spoke, "ever since we began dating, I felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest. You give my life a special sort of joy, one that's greater than the joy I have when we're with our friends. Now, I want to feel it for the rest of my life."
"What are you saying, Sabre?" Fara asked.
All of a sudden, Sabre got down on one knee and took Fara's hand.
"Fara," he spoke, "will you marry me?"
"What?" Fara responded. "Yes! Of course, I'll marry you!"
Sabre and Fara then kissed, with Sabre taking out the box that had the engagement ring in it. Slipping it onto the fennec's ring finger, the brown wolf was met with a kiss on the cheek, which made him blush. The former Knight felt like the luckiest man alive, knowing that he was engaged. The sandy vixen felt the same way, feeling practically excited for the wedding they would have.
On the final night they had the room, Sabre and Fara were in bed. Three hours earlier, the two had sex, cleaning up the mess they made afterwards. Now that they were in bed, the brown wolf and the fennec were cuddled up, with the latter resting her head on her fiancé's shoulder. The Cerinian let her do so, as his former position as a Knight taught him to be kind and gentlemanly to everyone, including women and children. However, the couple opened their eyes, engaging in a conversation.
"Well, we're engaged now." Fara spoke.
"Yes," Sabre said, "and I can't wait to tell our friends."
"I just hope that Randorn will bless our wedding." The fennec said.
"He will, he supports us as a couple." The brown wolf told her.
"What about the others?" The vixen asked.
"They'll support us as well." The Cerinian said. "I think that Bill would be a good groomsman."
"I agree, and I guess that it wouldn't hurt to have Katt and Krystal as bridesmaids. Hell, Fay could be the flower girl." The older female stated.
"We'll figure out roles for everyone next month, okay?" The younger male said.
"That's fine with me, Mr. Fara Phoenix." She said.
"Goodnight, Mrs. Sabre Glidewell." He said before going back to sleep.
"Goodnight."
After that, Fara and Sabre fell asleep. Come tomorrow, the two would tell their family and friends that they were engaged. Their only hope would be that everyone was okay with it, especially Randorn, Krystal and Fara's parents, siblings and extended family. In addition to that, they would need to work out certain plans, such as when the wedding would be held and who would be in what position. The brown wolf and the fennec dreamed of it as they slept, not waking up until morning came. Even as they left the resort and made their way back to Corneria, the couple had their wedding, along with various details, on their minds. Their future felt bright, knowing what would happen.
Note: This was a bit hard to write, given how I decided to focus on a couple I felt needed more development. However, for my first Fara-centric story, I don't think I did too bad. What do you think? Like I said before, this is connected to Aliens To Them, so I leave certain things ambiguous for the ending of that story. I hope that everyone is doing okay and that they've had a nice day. Until next time guys, this is Newcomer24, signing off. Peace!
