In the past, she would've jumped for over the moon for Seungjo to go out alone with her in the past. However, all the numbness she was feeling now canceled out all the warm and fuzzy feelings she wanted to feel. She wondered if that was how Seungjo felt on a daily basis. Empty and void of emotions. She knew this wasn't true as he did display some emotions, but for the most part, he was a smart emotionless void. But, she couldn't help but wonder why he didn't take her home and instead is sitting right beside her inside a convenience store. She side glanced at him. He sat staring out the window with his hands intertwined on the counter. His face displayed no emotions and thoughts as she was used to. He had on a black windbreaker and slim black track pants, unlike any of his put together ensembles. He looked almost comfortable dress wise. Hani remained quiet for five more minutes, out of the twenty they had sat there. She liked the silenced and it was new to her when it was with Seungjo. It was beginning to get to her as recounted the events that happened at her mother's company, so she spoke.

"I wasn't expecting to get a call from you," she stated in a solemn tone. She didn't have it in her to speak with her unnatural amount of giddiness she acclaimed herself to. "I haven't heard anything from you since you moved out." he leaned back and turned his attention to her. She wasn't looking at him. He gave her a once over to examine her physical state. Her newly dyed chocolate hair was frizzy due to the rain that showered on her way out, her periwinkle turtleneck and black skirt were in the beginning stages of drying. Behind her curtain of hair, he could see a cloud of red adorning her cheek, but he knew it wasn't from a blush.

"My mother called me back home, thinking that I would be able to pull you from your self-isolation," he saw her release a tired snort when she leaned into the counter with both arms, her hair shielding her view from him. He slightly tilted his head at the reaction. That was certainly new. "However, you sped past me before I even got the chance to greet you."

"While I appreciate Auntie's attempts to help me, I didn't want to see anyone, much less leave my room," she ran a hand threw her long, frizzed locks of hair. Her bottom lip curled in and she continued her gaze outside. She could feel Seungjo's stare gauging her. She couldn't help but compare it to that man's stare at her. She felt an oncoming headache thinking about it. "I still don't want to see anyone." he heard her blatant statement and was pleasantly surprised. She had never explicitly expressed that she didn't want to be in his presence in such a manner. It was always declarations of moving on from the major liking she had taken to him. To see her act in this way, it felt almost disconcerting to him. It was a complete one-eighty from what he had seen from her. She almost appeared to be frigidly annoyed. It interested him, in a slightly bent way of thinking.

"I understand, however, you tend to act irrationally when you're in an intense state of emotional thinking. So, let's say that you're going to stay with me for the rest of the day," he said without straying his gaze away from her's. He wanted to gauge her reaction. Her reactions were always different from the others. His gut would roil in pleasure when he saw that she reacted to something that he did. She would look to him, and only him. In the beginning, her compliant nature tended to an irk him, but over time, it made him feel superior. She never strayed away for long at least and knew too much about him. That irked him also, and once he began to ponder on it, it came to him. He didn't know much about Hani, practically little to nothing about her past except that she was a failing student and her mother was dead.

Then, he thought about it. Hani was never keen on talking about her late mother. Every time it was mentioned by her father, she would shrink back into herself. Her reaction was always negative. He thought it was only a natural reaction, no one was ever really comfortable talking about their dead relative, but her reaction was off to him. Something darker flashed in her when she was mentioned. So, naturally, when he was told that Gidong slapped her after an altercation about her late mother, it piqued his interest further than what he originally expected. Maybe that darker aspect of her was beginning to shine, and it stroked his notice. It secretly thrilled him. "I do believe that you haven't been to my apartment yet, why you don't you come and check it out?"

That certainly caught her attention. She turned to fully look at him for the first since they had gotten there. He was staring directly at her. It looked like to her that he had been staring at her quite some time. When she looked into his eyes, she found something that perplexed her. It was clear to her that he had been thinking about something that engrossed him. He had a certain look on his face when something stroked his ego or his intellect. For him to suggest that meant he wanted something. He had never offered to take her somewhere, it always her following him for information on him. Although most people in their life don't know this fact, Seungjo could be quite twisted when he wanted to be towards her. She thought about all the times he would try to lay claim on her mentally, physically, and verbally. But, never officially, which frayed at her nerves to no end. He played with her mind, knowing it was weak to a certain extent when it came to him. No matter how many times she would declare that she would get over him, he would always come around when another man remotely expressed interest in her. Like a cat, she was the territory that he sprayed on. However, her natural curiosity got the best of her.

"Sure, I have nothing better to do."

When she looked at his face, she almost regretted agreeing to his request as she saw a Chesire expression past through his face. A shiver crawled down her back.
