I needed to get the story published before Ladrien June was over, but I wasn't ready to share the entire first chapter yet. So here is a pathetic teaser. Read on, Lovelies.

I do not own Miraculous or Aladdin, but I'm saving up my money to buy them soon. Will keep you all updated.

*Note: All subsequent chapters will be written in a traditional story style, and will be much, much, longer.*

"Salam and good evening, my dear. Welcome to the most incredible city in the world, the city of flying carpets and love ballads, a city far from everything you've ever known. Sit down. Let me tell you a story, a story unlike any other. The story of darkness, of magic, and of romance."

"Sugarcube, you mean let US tell you a story. The story of this faraway place where there are camels, and bazaars, stalls filled with cheese and spices and spiced cheese and-"

"Plagg, sit down and be quiet. This is not about your ridiculous cheese."

"Fine, less work for me."

"This is the story of the Arabian nights and of Arabian days. Of two young heroes, following their destiny beneath the Arabian moon. Of how they-"

"Yes, yes we get it Tikki. Arabian everything. Very hot and Arabian and-"

"PLAGG!"

"I'm being quiet."

"Where was I?"

"Arabian Nights, Arabian Days, Arabian moons…Right, I'm not speaking anymore. I'm going to get some cheese."

"Good riddance. Do you see these earrings and this ring? Don't be fooled by how normal they look- these are the treasures of our city and hold a power only rarely known to man."

"The power of us, sugarcube."

"I thought you were leaving?"

"I'm not sorry. You're lucky that my cheese is calling my name."

"I apologize for him, he's utterly insufferable… But he is not wrong- this is our story in many ways, but it is another's story as well. The story of a beautiful and kind-hearted girl, one who began as a thief and became great with a little bit of help, my help. It's the story of how she defeated the evil Sorceress and freed our beloved Sultana from a cursed sleep. Most importantly, it is the story of the power of love."

"Ugh, you're so cheesy. And not in a good way."

"I promise he won't be here to interrupt the whole story. I have an entire stack of cheese stashed away to keep him entertained. Before we really begin, would you like a croissant? Trust me, they're delicious."

"Especially with cheese."

Next time on "Beneath Arabian Moons"... The story begins with a girl stealing bread.

(P.S thank you to emmy250 for telling me the text was weird.)

(P.P.S Hashara means bug in Arabic, according to my sister.)

There's not much to review yet, but I would love to know what y'all think of an Aladdin AU!
