This is technically not part of the story. This is a sort of bonus just because I think this is such a funny idea. Also, I know that French schools don't have graduation ceremonies but that's what suspension of disbelief is for. All of these situations are completely non canon and hypothetical because I could totally see Chloé doing this. Please enjoy.
Luka stood behind another student, his nerves shaking as the name before him was called. He was graduating high school and about to walk to receive his diploma.
"Graduating with highest honors, Luka Couffaine!"
He walked across the stage listening to all of his closest friends and family applauding him and cheering for him. But over all of them, one voice rose above the rest.
"YEEEAAAH! THAT'S MY HUSBAND!"
Luka had to stop from laughing out of embarrassment as he heard Chloé's voice carry more than anyone else's. Geez was she using a megaphone or something? The audience was split between giggling at her enthusiasm, or groans coming from the people who knew Chloé and was once again experiencing her "extra-ness".
...
"And now, a couple words from our student speaker and valedictorian, graduating with a Ph.D. in music, Luka Couffaine."
Luka made his way up to the podium with his speech in hand. He and Chloé had worked for hours on it to make sure it was perfect. After twelve years of schooling, he was finally graduating with the doctorate he always wanted. He made his way through his speech, not even stuttering on any line. He had run that speech by every friend, family member or teacher who was willing to hear it. All that practice was totally worth it.
"Thank you so much for all of the wonderful memories you all have given me. It truly means the world," Luka finished. His fellow graduates all cheered and applauded, some even giving a standing ovation.
Then, just as the applause began to die down, only one person could be heard.
"WHOOOOOOO! THAT'S MY HUSBAND! WHOOHOOO!"
These university people were not accustomed to such...loud people. Everyone looked either extremely confused or slightly offended. For a second, Luka thought he saw security heading towards the location of the voice. Oh boy, would she ever learn?
...
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the stage Luka Couffaine!"
This was it, Luka's first big concert. After begging and pleading with every manager, producer, and big name in the industry, he had finally managed to book a venue and sell it out! It was a huge outdoor theater and it was completely sold out. He fiddled with his guitar strap and then ran out onto the stage, waving at all of the fans that had come out to see him. There was a sea of people, all there to listen to his music. Luka never thought he could be this blessed.
"THAT'S MY HUSBAND! YOU GO BABY! YEEEEEAAAHHH!"
Oops, he had forgotten about that blessing. How on Earth did she even manage to make her voice heard over that crowd? Well, Chloé was capable of a lot of things and making sure that he knew that she was there supporting him was at the forefront of her list of priorities.
...
"The winner of the Grammy Award for Album of the Year is...Luka Couffaine!"
Luka had tears in his eyes as he made his way up the stage to receive what was arguably the most prestigious award a musician like him could win. All of the work that he and his team had put in was paying off in the most amazing way. He was handed his award and then he turned to the audience. They were all cheering and clapping. He waited for the inevitable.
"THAT'S. MY. HUSBAND! YEEEEESSSS! GO LUKAAAA!"
He chuckled as he wiped tears from his eyes. "Thank you all so, so much. This truly is an honor. An honor that I wouldn't be receiving if it weren't for the amazing people I work with and of course, my amazing wife who you just heard."
The audience laughed and Chloé let out another long whoop.
...
"Receiving the Nobel Prize for Literature is Luka Couffaine who has given us a window into the human soul through music!"
Never, in his life did Luka ever imagine he would be receiving an honor like this. He had spent months, no years working on a ten thousand page study on the human condition through music. He put to paper his gift for hearing people and understanding their emotions, intentions and being through music. It had taken him a long, long time but his book had touched people all over the world.
He was crying, he was definitely crying. This was the third best moment of his life, right after his marriage and the birth of his son. He stepped onto the stage, tears running down his face, and received the prize. He stood in front of every one, ready to give the required lecture that pertained to his work. But before he could get a word out, one voice rose above the applause.
"OH MY GOD! THAT'S MY HUSBAND! THAT'S MY HUSBAND!" He could tell Chloé was crying too. This was a huge moment, bigger than anyone that came before.
"My wife, Chloé Bourgeois, ladies and gentlemen," Luka said into the microphone.
"COUFFAINE!"
