Before she can process what just happened, Sesshoumaru bends her back over his arm.
Her heart catches in her throat.
"Where did you learn this?" His eyes are still dazed, but they lock on hers, and his voice, gravelly and deeper than normal, sends pleasant little shivers down her spine.
"I-Inuyasha showed me."
"Inuyasha?" His brows knit, and she's not quite sure how to read the reaction. But he leans down, skimming his nose across hers, the contact softer than the gossamer touch of butterflies' wings.
She swallows, her own eyes growing heavy. "He said it would make your day."
