Set After MK 2011 reboot.
Smallville season 6
Clark Kent let out a rare smile on what to him is a good day even if it is the crack of dawn as the sun rises up for the day. The real reason he's awake right now being a living solar powered battery. Clark looked at the paper before quietly throwing it into the sky. Yeah, yeah, Lana is a Lex girl. Well, that's her problem to deal with one day. Clark ran out at superspeed as jobs around the barn just appeared to be done.
Clark came to a stop and saw the crops ready to pick as he cracked his fingers. He moved with speed and kept picking a vegetable and throwing it in a basket till it was full up. Clark got ready for the next run only to hear a very bizarre whistle and the crackle of thunder. Clark looks up to the sky and saw a small circle of orange crackling with thunder and lightning.
Clark watched as a girl in black hair and a dark pink or purple top and leather pants fell out of it. Clark ran quick and caught the girl. He gently lowered her to the ground seeing two weapons stabbed in her back. At least he thinks they're weapons. There's blood on them but they look like fans. Clark X rayed the girls back to make sure the fans aren't wrapped around anything vital. With two gentle pulls Clark removes the fans. He gently turns her over with a simple plan hospital. As soon as the woman's face comes into view Clark jumped back startled seeing her . She looks a lot more human from the back. He suddenly understands the veil around her mouth. "Lady, you gotta wake up? Miss?"
Clark carried her into the house and thanks to the phantoms he does have some experience in this as he turned her around and went into the bathroom medicine cabinet. He came back with stitches and disinfectant and treated the woman. Who would have ever thought that Slug fest with Zod and the Phantom in Seattle would have it's perks. Seeing he has nothing to do until this woman wakes up Clark just rests his eyes.
Clark opened his eyes as in slow mo the window breaks. He looks to see one of the fans he pulled out of the pink clothed girl earlier flying slowly through the window followed by another. Clark moved quick in a blur and caught the fans.
Clark watched as the front door quickly seemed to ice over as it broke apart to splinters. Clark watched as two girls hopped in through the window. One with a staff in hand and the other looked just like the girl that fell from the sky... If she hadn't fallen face first on jagged rocks. What disturbed him more was the color of their skin. They almost looked like zombies in the grey flesh with devil like yellow eyes. Clark looked at the doorway as two more grey skin like creatures enter the door flanked by a third. One kind of looks like an undead zombie indian with the grey skin long black hair and war paint. The other a bald man with metal arms and the last something that might be a ninja a mask covering his face his arms frozen in ice leaving no question who froze the door.
Clark looked around he's surrounded but still far from helpless. "Who are you people? And you owe me money for that door and window."
The girl with that looked like pink's sister turned to him getting his attention. "My name is Kitana. We're here for my sister."
Clark looked between the two. "Twins?"
Kitana looked at her sister as her 'true sister' Jade snuck quietly closer to the farmboy as Clark's shadow took a life of his own seemingly rising up with a hook in hand like a slasher from a horror movie. "No, but you're not gonna live long enough to care about the difference anyway."
Jade grabbed the war fans and quickly shimmered purple as the weapons phased through Clark's hands returning them to Kitana. The shadow assassin Noob Saibot swung his hook up high ready to strike when to his surprise Clark turned around before he could even start bringing it down and grabbed his arm and followed it with a quick elbow to the gut knocking him into a wall and out cold.
Clark turned to Kitana. "So you stab your own sister in the back."
"My 'sister' is an unholy abomination." Kitana replied.
"Says the living dead girl." Clark countered.
Kitana opened her war fans taking a swing with each one Clark easily back stepped. Kitana took a swing at his head with such force she actually turned around. Clark took the free shot and kicked her in the butt launching her at the wall knocking her out on impact. Jade took a swing with her staff Clark easily dodged seeing the ninja with ice in his arms ready to launch something at Clark. Jade tries to attack again and Clark just overpowers her grabbing the staff and keeping it at her throat putting her in front of him as Jade is hit with the ice attack and frozen solid.
Clark ran at Sub Zero and the assassin put his hands on Clark trying to freeze him that way. Clark felt a slight chill before throwing him at the wall knocking him out. Clark watched as the last zombie grabbed the girl in pink and took off in some form of superspeed with a green aura as he somewhat slowly and briskly got her out the backdoor to Clark's eyes.
Clark ran for the backdoor only to be greeted by the zombie reincarnation of Bruce Lee crashing into him and repeatedly kicking him in the chest in a bicycle kick. To Clark's surprise he feels the first four kicks he's guessing from reanimated bodies through magic. He stuck his arm out and grabbed the next leg mid kick leaving Zombie Bruce Lee dangling upside down face to the floor.
Liu Kang formerly Earth's greatest champion looked up from where he was. He defeated Shao Kahn with that move what gives? "Um, let's be friends."
Clark just slammed him into the kitchen floor Bam Bam Rubble style about eight times leaving Liu Kang groaning in pain as he ran out after Nightwolf running ahead of him. Clark simply stuck his hand out in a fist and waited for Nightwolf to run right into it as the girl in pink was flung into the air. Clark ran under her and caught her as his ears left like they exploded as he fell to the floor howling in pain.
An older Zombie with white and black hair looked at the sight interested. "That was supposed to stun you, but I'll take it." Sindel screamed again as once again Clark fell to the floor holding his ears as blood poured out. "Now, you will give me my daughter, I so missed her."
The Elder Zombie walked until she was blasted away by a trail of fire. Clark grabbed the girl. "One zombie daughter is enough."
Clark grabbed the girl and decided to forsake running for a super human jump. He easily cleared ground level as he started clearing the barn until he shouted as what looked like a harpoon on a chain stuck out of his leg.
"GET DOWN HERE!"
Clark crashed through the barn roof making sure he took the worst of it. Clark got to his feet to see a yellow ninja and an albino man dressed in war paint from the looks of it.. Clark got to his feet wobbly as the albino pulled an amulet off his belt that fired a fireball at him knocking Clark back to the floor stunned.
The albino looked at the scene interested. "Peculiar, I haven't seen anyone but Lord Shinnok fend off the Revenants single handedly with such ease."
Clark leaned back on a railing on the barn. "Who are you people?"
"I am Quan Chi. Our delegate had a meeting with Mileena Kahnum that she ran away from."
Clark got to his feet. "Maybe she wasn't a fan of the company."
Quan Chi smiled at the wry humor. "Be that as it may we insist she keep it. Walk away and no harm will come to you."
Clark shook his head. "Not gonna happen."
Quan Chi shrugged. He would have blasted him in the back with a full powered blast from the amulet anyway. This can be another secret weapon for once Shinnok has served his purpose. "As you wish" He waved his arm and Robot arms from the house appeared along with the zombie of... Paul Blart Mall Cop. "Let's see if you're bullet proof."
Clark watched the two pull out a handgun and a pair of machine guns. "You guys want to shoot me. SHOOT ME!"
"DON"T SHOOT HIM! I'm not carrying any of you if they ricochet into a leg."
All five turned their heads to the new voice walking into the farm. He was a man from the looks of it. A zombie like the others with a respirator over his face and skuzzy long black hair from neglect. "I couldn't be sure till you gave zero fracks about being shot."
The new zombie looked out ahead of him. "Kal, what's it been four years now? Well, give or take."
Clark looked the man over, he's pretty sure he would have remembered someone that looks like... Well this. Even in his hazy red K days.
"You don't recognize me." The man realized and let out a laugh. "Hey man, don't feel too bad. I wouldn't recognize me either." He pointed to his mask and respirator. "Believe it or not this happened before I died. Here maybe these will jog your memory." The man pulled out a pair of hookswords and spun them in a familiar style ready for a fight.
Clark's eyes widened and realization sunk in. "Kabal?"
"There you go."
Clark looked at him having a hard time recognizing him as the man from that summer. "Last time I checked in on you, you were married to a good woman and joined the Police Academy. What happened there?"
Kabal smiled under his mask. "Oh, so you do check in. Shame you didn't do it in person Estelle's a hell of a cook." Kabal let out a weakened little sigh and put his hand on Paul Blart's shoulder. "Let's just say me and my buddy Stryker here backed the way wrong horse. Now it's just better to be at the devil's foot then in his path."
Clark looked at him sadly. "I don't take it there's a set of words I can use that can convince you to abandon this and go back to Star is there?"
Kabal shook his head. "Couldn't even if I wanted to. As long as you protect Mileena Kahnum it has to be this way, sucks."
Quan Chi rose his hands and all of the revenants Scorpion and Noob Saibot appeared in the farm.
Clark stood ready for a fight. "I don't believe that. And I won't let you take her to be part of the group."
Kabal frowned seeing the end of Diplomatic Negotiations. "Very well." He ran at superspeed ready to strike only to see Clark had him by each arm. "How much did you widen the gap in 4 years?"
Clark just threw him through a side wall as to his surprise the woman in pink dropped out of the sky and kicked Kitana in the head.
"Sister dearest." Mileena teased before launching herself at Sub Zero biting him in the shoulder as Clark rushed the others.
Quan Chi watched the fight annoyed as while Mileena could hold off one or two Clark is easily fighting the others and with the cramped location no can fire a mystical attack. Quan Chi looked at the fight having enough but not wanting to risk obliterating Mileena simply knocks the two attackers down with blasts from the amulet.
Clark looked at it. He's had enough of that stupid piece of jewelry. Clark ran at superspeed and took it off Quan Chi as he ran back to Mileena. "Alright, let's see how he likes being shot with fire."
Quan Chi's eyes rose and in a quick panic raised his arms and opened a portal taking himself and the revenants as far away from Earth as possible and closed it.
Clark fired as the beam tore apart the farm leaving nothing but a sky of ash as the beam smashed through the house completely obliterating the first floor. "I-I just meant to knock down Quan Chi."
Mileena looked down at the amulet. "I'm guessing you were mystically juiced. Now I command you to take me somewhere safe so I can recover."
Clark tilted his head at her almost amused. "Excuse me?"
Mileena looked at him. "I am Mileena Kahnum I demand you treat me with the respect I deserve."
"Given how you've been acting in the two seconds you've been awake I'd say I am." Clark replied typing out a quick message to Lois, Chloe, and his mother warning them to stay away from the farm until he figures out what's going on. "So, what does your sister have against you?"
Mileena shook her head in two very easy words Kitana hated. "My existence, General Kotal told me to miss that meeting with the Netherealm after what happened this morning. I'm glad I did."
Clark looked at her in confusion he's going to guess that was alien politics. "Why what happened?"
"A lot of people died in other worlds. Billions, we don't know what Shinnok wants from me, but it can't be anything good." Mileena finished playing a distressed princess.
Clark looked at his phone getting the address he was looking for. "Well, I know where I'm going I wish you best of luck Mileena Kahnum."
Mileena looked at him. "Wait, I'll go with you." Clark kept walking past her. "Oh fine, Quan Chi had negotiations today with Orderrealm and Chaosrealm. We don't know what Quan Chi did but the end result was their destruction and the loss of billions of lives. If they get me, I'm afraid they'll do the same to my home world, Outworld. Please, please help me."
Clark looked at her. "Fine, but I'm going to see some people, might help us figure out what's going on."
Mileena nodded in understanding. Works for her.
Quan Chi walked out of the portal into an obliterated hall of steel and glass showing signs of a legendary battle seeing the blood splattered remains of a bald headed woman and an hourglass smashed to pieces. "Master, wouldn't it have served your purpose to keep the hourglass intact."
A man as pale as Quan Chi dressed in red sat on the floor. "I feared any step back in time might resurrect Mommy Dearest. Also the last three times I achieved my revenge against the elder gods time was reset. No resurrections, no redos this time."
Quan Chi nodded in understanding. "Yes, Lord Shinnok."
Shinnok got to his feet. "Now, where is Mileena Kahnum. We have much to discuss."
Quan Chi shook his head. "Sir, someone else got involved, very powerful, we couldn't get near her. She's hiding on Earth."
Shinnok nodded in understanding. He took an amulet off his shoulder very similar to Quan Chi's. "Speaking of very powerful, would you care to explain why I went into battle with Kronika armed with a false amulet that nearly got me killed."
Quan Chi turned intending to run teleport anything to get as far away as possible but his legs weren't moving.
A/N No chance in hell am I putting this scene in the T rated version
Quan Chi put his hands up desperately from the floor. "Lord Shinnok, please, please, I can fix this I will get Mileena and the amulet back."
Shinnok glared at him but kept his stoic nature. "Given what lies ahead. You better."
In a secret military base a lone female commando stood there listening to the two others. This was not how she planned for her day to go. Listening to two gods. "So you're saying two of the realms are gone Raiden?"
Raiden nodded standing in his pure white outfit and hat. "Yes Sonya Blade. Although I have no affection for Chaos or Order realm neither deserved this fate."
Fujin nodded in understanding why he was called down by Raiden. "And with what's going on we have no idea if Earth realm could be next."
Sonya nodded. "Well I would get all of Earth's forces together but that's a lot less phone calls then you think now a days." She said sadly
"It's a good start and we can work our way from there."
The three turned to the new voice feeling strong winds while seeing light and leaves surround each other seemingly forming a person that is a beautiful woman with green hair and green eyes in revealing clothing.
Fujin looked at the scene before him in a bit of shell shock even for a being like him. "L-Lady Cetrion?"
Raiden and Fujin each made a respectful bow out of peace.
Cetrion smiled at the sight in front of her. "There is no need for such a title anymore Fujin and Raiden, I am simply the goddess of nature and fertility now."
Raiden eyes widened. "You have fallen from grace!"
Cetrion nodded on the very easy decision she made recently. "The realms are dying and the elder gods do nothing. Also someone, or something, whatever is causing this made it personal by destroying my mother, the keep, and the hourglass. Which means there is no way to undo the damage to chaosrealm and orderealm. I renounced my title as Elder God to join the fight here because the Elder Gods still do nothing."
Raiden nodded in understanding having those rose tinted glasses forcefully ripped from him during the Outworld Invasion. "They often don't."
Fujin looked at the two. He can't tell the last time Raiden had left Earth to see the elder gods and Cetrion seems to be joining the abandoning. Any further thoughts were cut off by Sonya's phone coming to life.
Sonya picked it up with a curious eye seeing it's a drone operator of all people. "This is Blade, yeah, oh OK, no, no, send the video. It's much appreciated. Thank you." Sonya hung up and went to her computer. Sonya opened her email and easily saw the video attachment. "He says there's something I need to see."
Raiden nodded as the three walked together. "Then we will leave you to your business."
Sonya shook her head. "No, no, I only told this guy to send me the weird things and Jax. Things that usually fall in your jurisdiction."
Raiden nodded in understanding as the four watched the video. Sonya looked at the video and didn't see much of anything until the zombie of Liu Kang was flown out the door. He weakly stated the person he knew. "...Liu Kang"
Sonya watched as the door opened revealing a red and pink streak of light. From there the video went in super slow motion to keep up with the light as it moved across the screen. Until it was hit by a set of waves collapsing the light and the video went back to normal speed showing Raiden a very familiar face. Shao Kahn's daughter.
"Mileena!" Raiden shouted in recognition. "Once again Outworld invades Earth and once again the elder gods do nothing!"
Sonya looked at the blob of pixels. Lucky for her Special Forces really does have an enhance button as the camera zooms in on the reddish blob becomes clear as day to her. "Kal?"
Raiden turned to her. "You know this man?"
Cetrion looked at the screen a small smile on her face. "Kal El has finally gotten involved."
Raiden turned to Cetrion. You do as well."
Cetrion nodded in familiarity. "Yes Lord Raiden, I had meant for Kal El to step up during the Outworld Invasion. He would have had the strength to stop Sindel and Shao Kahn from doing that much damage. I am truly sorry for what happened Sonya Blade."
Sonya shook her head and snorted in disgust. "You expect far too much from a Black Dragon Poison Ivy."
Cetrion shook her head. "He was never a Black Dragon Sonya Blade. He was a good kid running from emotional pain when you met him. I had hoped he would step up through the years but the actions of another of his kind has made him afraid of himself."
Fujin turned his head. "You mean this Kal is not of earth?"
Cetrion shook her head. "He was born light years from here. Otherwards I would have had Raiden take him to the Wu Shi Academy the instant he was born so he could compete in the tournament. Kal was the last child born to his planet. His parents sent him here for a better life. But without humility the machine they made to look after him used cold and calculating methods to accomplish it's tasks. It made him turn his back on his people."
Sonya looked at her trying to wrap her head around this. "If he's so powerful of a warrior where was he during the invasion! Where was he when everyone was dying!?"
Cetrion frowned. "He gave up his powers in a foolish attempt to become something he's not. We are not all powerful. Choices still come down to him as any other person Ms. Blade, even the bad ones."
Sonya punched her desk. Her best friend is gone because a scumbag had an identity crisis. "I'm killing him!"
Cetrion frowned. "Believe me Ms. Blade. He already paid a terrible price for his choices. We have to find the two of them. I hardly believe Mileena Kahnum is on earth by choice."
Raiden watched the video at the end seeing a familiar source of immense power. "That will be easier said then done Cetrion."
Cetrion frowned her day keeps getting better. "Oh no! How did he get that?"
Sonya looked at the three. "Why is everyone concerned about Kal's bling?"
Fujin shook his head. "I don't know. I feel like I should."
Raiden turned to his fellow god. "You don't remember because you were reborn with a clean slater after it. You gave your previous life trying to ensure Sub Zero would not give it back to it's master."
"I failed?" Fujin asked impressed by the Lin Kuei.
Raiden nodded. "We all did but Bi Han righted his wrong. If Kal has the amulet of Shinnok nearby it will be next to impossible to track him down."
Sonya frowned. "Well we know to start in Smallville Kansas. We'll find him. I get the feeling the fate of the earth depends on us finding him."
