Thank you very much for your continued support.
SH-Speccy.
My friend, I see that you like Castlevania too much..
You have convinced me, maybe I will see it.
New.
I agree, the Castlevania video games I've played have been lousy.
I'll listen to you. I will watch the series.
NecrorexSparda.
Mmm.. I'll see that..
On the other hand, I read there that the game was on sale, Tale Plague Innocent?.
They say it is one of the best.
It's true?.
If you wonder, I will continue with the back and forth between the past and the present.
I really like that coming and going. In addition to adding more doubts, and at the same time answering them.
Three of the four hierarchies were waiting too much; they wanted to know the reason why they had been summoned by Mother Miranda to such an urgent meeting.
Donna Beneviento was sitting to Mother Miranda's right, wearing a black mourning dress, and her face covered with a veil, in utter silence, holding Angie on her lap.
Salvatore Moreau looked with hidden hatred at Heisenberg's empty seat. Curse inside that ungrateful man for insulting his beloved mother like that.
And Lady Dimitrescu was both impatient and surprised. I didn't want to be here one more minute; I just wanted to return to your castle, so I could be with your dear daughters. Still, the doubt was burning inside her; this was the first time Mother Miranda had called them at this hour, surely what she would like to communicate would be important.
-"Why this meeting so sudden, Mother Miranda?". Finally, the tall woman dared to find out, arching an eyebrow.
The only answer Mother Miranda gave him was only a rigid and sinister face.
Suddenly, the doors of the church open, and Karl Heisenberg makes an appearance.
-"Finally you're here". Alcina Dimitrescu practically spat. His animosity was too notorious to hide.
-"I was busy". I grumble the German.
-"Doing?".
-"It's none of your business!". He jumped, with a low voice.
That had been enough for Mother Miranda.
-"Silence!". She screamed, her voice out of place, she was very angry.
Immediately, Heisenberg and Dimitrescu were silent, but the former was still not seated.
-"Why don't you sit down yet?". Moreau intervenes.
-"Because you will see, my brothers". Heisenberg retorts with mockery, as he approaches the door.
He opens it, and a couple of Lycans show up, carrying an unconscious young man on his shoulders.
-"There". He points to the Lycans.
Quickly, the same, they chain him to the ground. With that out, Heisenberg with a simple gesture makes them leave.
Finally, he addresses his brothers and mother again.
-"I've brought a stranger. Someone who so far has managed to survive in this goddamn town. I bring him before you so that we may agree on his final fate". Finish, sitting down.
Alcina raises a brow, and by Mother Miranda's silence, she begins to believe that this stranger may be to blame for her present condition, and therefore for this meeting.
-"That's the culprit of this meeting, Mother?". Question.
-"No. But I have a feeling this only adds fuel to the fire". She answers them furiously.
Silence settled in the next few minutes, until Moreau decided to ask what troubled the majority, especially him.
-"If I may ask. Why are you so angry, Mother?". He exclaimed, looking at the ground at his feet, trembling.
The lie, mixed with a bit of truth, had always been the way to go with friends of your "right" Jason.
-"Apparently, we have not only had the visit of this man here. No. A person who at the time was very important to all of us here has come to the village".
-"And I can assure you that your arrival will only bring destruction and death. Since our visitor comes with only one goal; revenge on all of us".
The first reactions among the hierarchy had been strangely different and similar at the same time.
Moreau shook instead, and Donna clung to her beloved Angie in fear.
The only ones who somehow seemed to know more than the rest were Heisenberg and Lady Dimitrescu.
Alcina Dimitrescu was struck by a person immediately, someone who was once too important. But that wasn't possible, he should be dead by now.
Heisenberg, on the other hand, was the only happy one on the spot.
You look like you don't even want to, Jason. Sometimes... You're so despicable. He said, smiling openly.
-"If you happen to meet him, you are under an absolute obligation to let me know. I want you to do whatever it takes to stop him; incarcerate him, lock him up, leave him dying, whatever. He won't get out of this town alive. I want you to pray for your life. I want him in front of me, I want to be the one to kill him myself".
-"Who are you talking about?". Lady Dimitrescu asked, determined to shirk her first baseless thought.
Silence reigned once more for the next few seconds. Until the matriarch finally decided to drop the name of the person who would supposedly change everything in the village. The person who would bring chaos and destruction with him.
-"Jason. Jason's here".
A stamp silence immediately interposed, with each present immersed in what that really meant.
Alcina Dimitrescu's face shone in fury, if the glances will kill... All those present there would already be dead.
That wretch.
Moreau shuddered slightly in his seat, with jealous old thoughts making an appearance.
Nine. I won't let you take my mother away from me.
Heisenberg was the only calm one, and he only dedicated himself to carrying on with his stupid smirk, enjoying Mother Miranda's face too much.
While Donna Beneviento remained motionless and silent, now totally immersed in the memories of the past. With a false hope starting to blossom strongly from within your heart...
Childish thinking and something possessive.
Maybe he was coming back for her?.Had he remembered his promise?.After so many years?.
Angie, being the other half of the same coin, decided to prove it to the others; and practically jumped with joy from Donna's lap.
Beginning to make small joyful leaps all over the place, until, perhaps unwittingly, or perhaps intentionally, he reached the position of the unconscious intruder.
Realizing it, she watched it, slightly interested, perhaps it would be a great doll, a good addition to her family.
Mother Miranda had enough.
Everyone's behavior had been somehow... Unbalanced. And that wasn't good.
With the bomb dropped, and the orders issued on the case, he decided it was time to move on to the next issue on the agenda of this meeting.
What to do with the stranger.
-"Now... Having done with the above. Let us turn to the next issue in question. Who will take charge of the fate of this stranger?". She asked, drawing the attention of all present, and initiating the unilateral trial that would follow.
Heisenberg closed his eyes, denying with his head.
Well done Jason... Not only have you pissed off your mother, but also, with your name alone, you changed the atmosphere of this meeting. Ha. You have my respect... Friend.
Deciding to put it aside, for now, he got right into the conversation.
-"I have brought him, so I feel fit to exercise the right to take charge of his final destiny".
Meanwhile, Alcina Dimitrescu was still thinking about something else. More specifically, new twisted forms of punishment.
If that was in the village, she was absolutely certain that she would go to her castle, and not only that, she would certainly try something with her little ones; and that was something she would never allow.
That man had lost the right to address his daughters a long time ago.
Hearing Mother Miranda had to put aside those disturbing thoughts, forcing him to obey her orders.
-"The mortal is of no use to anyone". She spat coldly.
Look, maybe if it would do any good, maybe I could use it to test new methods of torture. Then your daughters would be prepared to use them on that other ungrateful one.
Smiling at her idea, Lady Dimitrescu devoted herself to looking at the boy with greater interest.
-"My daughters might like to play... With this stranger".
-"In fact, I assure you that if you hand over the mortal to the Dimitrescu, my daughters and I will procure a delicious distillation of his blood". Matriarch Dimitrescu's eyes shone with determination, she needed that young man in her power.
As Lady Dimitrescu continued to try to sweeten Mother Miranda with her words, a slightly intrigued Moreau came closer to observe the unconscious young man.
To his great regret, in doing so, he immediately received a warning cry from Angie.
-"Go away ugly!".
-"I want to see... Ooh!". The newt had begun to apologize, but ended up shocked to see what was happening.
The young man, he was waking up.
-"He's awake!. Oh!". Angie celebrated with joy, warning every one of it.
-"Shut the fuck up!". Heisenberg intervened with an angry scream, not even bothering that he was conscious.
That scream is the one that finally wakes Ethan up.
-"What...?. Where...?".
In the same way, Heisenberg does not pay attention to her, and, recalling the words of his unhappy so-called sister, attacks her.
-"You just want to fuck him in private. What do I get out of that?. Give it to me, and I'll put on an unforgettable show". Promise.
-"You'll be vulgar... What is the use of bread and circus?". The tall woman starts arguing with him, not wanting to lose, especially now that he has found usefulness.
-"Your suffering is assured, of course".
-"Yes, of course. And if a man loses his dick in the castle, blah, blah, blah...". The German gesticulates, but is stopped from his deviations by Mother Miranda.
-"I have heard your arguments. Some less convincing than others, but I've made a decision".
-"Heisenberg, his fate is in your hands". Sentence finally.
But not everyone is happy with his resolve, especially some tall woman.
-"Mother Miranda, I must protest!. Heisenberg is but a child, and his devotion is questionable". Lady Dimitrescu exclaims in an airy way as she rises from her seat.
-"Give me the mortal, and I'll make sure to prepare him...". She went on, until she was stopped by an already angry Heisenberg.
-"Shut your mouth and admit your defeat!. Get your food somewhere else". He practically shouted, already in front of her, removing the entire settlement.
That only encouraged the sibling fight.
-"Silence, child!. The elders are talking".
-"Am I the boy? You are the one who protests Miranda's decision!".
-"You wouldn't know what responsibility is, even if it was tied to that hammer!".
-"Oh, keep growing, see if the ego fits in that head!".
-"Fight, fight, fight, fight!". Angie cheering excitedly, already from Donna's lap.
-"Hey, doesn't my opinion matter?". An Ethan already puzzled by the situation asked, frowning.
Today was not her day, Mother Miranda allowed herself to think. First Jason and his disgust, and now this, they were literally behaving like children.
The chorus of voices continued, and Mother Miranda couldn't stand it anymore.
I had already started this angry meeting, but with this… They had only ended up accentuating their anger even further.
-"SILENCE!". She screamed, completely disoriented, determined to end it.
-"My decision is made, the argument is over. Remember where you come from!". A threat wouldn't hurt them, to remind them of who they were serving.
-"Thank you, Mother". Heisenberg replied with false courtesy.
With a victorious smile towards Lady Dimitrescu, he addressed the entire congregation of Lycans already expectant for what would happen next.
-"Lycans and gentlemen, thank you for waiting!. And now. Let the games begin!". He exclaimed, giving the show a start.
He approached the prisoner, and bending down at his height, whispered something that made poor Ethan even more disarray than before.
-"Let's see what you're made of, Ethan Winters. Get ready!".
He knew who he was. But, then, why did he act as if he didn't know?.
And with a simple swing of his hammer, Heisenberg broke the chains that held the stranger prisoner.
-"No, wait...!". Ethan screamed desperately, but it was too late.
With the young man already released, Heisenberg decided to start counting down.
-"Ten!. Nine!. Eight!. Seven!".
Two young people in uniform make their way to their usual resting place, their common place, where they somehow forgot the problems that come with their line of work.
Jason is the first to enter, followed very closely by his faithful companion, a very beautiful girl, who would make anyone sigh.
Except for him, because in Jason's eyes, the girl was his best friend; she had been the first person to welcome him, without any hidden fact, and for that reason, he appreciated her too much.
Also, I had to add, that Jason wouldn't stand a chance with her, because for him, the girl already had someone in her heart.
Once inside the coffee shop, Jason stops and looks from left to right, until his gaze finally meets the person he was unconscious looking for.
At the bar and as attentive as ever, the young waitress gives him her most dazzling smile; and before this, a jittery Jason is only able to nod. Bending his head, he decides to keep walking.
Once he gets to his usual seat, he only realizes that his partner is not with him; a quick glance at the bar again was enough to find her, waving at the same blonde girl on the bar.
When Jill finally gets ready to sit next to him, she smiles at him from ear to ear; which meant only one thing to Jason. I was about to joke with him.
-"You know... She asked about you".
-"And what about that?". Jason decided to fake indifference.
-"Come on, Jace!". The young woman hastened him, making him startled.
-"She likes you and you like him. What else is needed for you to act?".
-"Look who's talking...". The young grumbled in response.
Immediately, the girl in front of him shot him her typical death look.
-"What did you say?".
That look was scary, and that was more than enough for Jason.
-"Nothing".
Silence took hold of the moment for a while, until Jill herself decided to cut it.
-"Then… When will you ask him?".
-"Ask what Jill?".
-"Come on, don't play silly. You certainly like the waitress".
-"I know what you're talking about". Jason played the unattended.
-"Jace".
-"What?".
-"Give me one reason... Not to hit you right here and now".
The young man simply shook his head, and looked away.
-"I can't...". Whisper.
-"Why?. What's stopping you?".
Jason under the eyes pitied in response.
-"Come on, Jace".
-"The past…".
-"Once again with that... I know what you've done, and I don't care. But if there's one thing I've learned, it's that you must put the past".
-"If you say so...". I whisper Jason, just when someone decided to interrupt their conversation.
-"Hello!". A cheerful and well-known voice exclaimed to his left.
-"Hi again, Kate". Jill was the first to answer.
-"You look good. Isn't it Jason?". Add quickly, winking an eye at your friend.
Immediately they both look at him expectantly.
Shit.
-"Eh... Yes. I think... Yes". He responds by nervously touching his neck.
-"Thank you". The young lady is grateful.
-"Then... All right, Jason?". She continues, in an attempt to prolong the conversation.
-"Yes. And you?".
The young woman makes a slight grin, which is quickly replaced by a smile.
-"You know. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not, but there's nothing else to follow".
-"Yes".
That's where Jill decides to intervene.
-"By the way, Kate. Thanks for the data".
The young woman bows her eyebrows in confusion, and Jill continues.
-"Your uncle's new guns, they're great".
-"Oh... That. Did you like them?".
-"Yes. I love my little baby".
-"And you, Jason?".
-"I like it. Although, I think the boss's is better, it's got a little eyeball that makes it great. And Barry's doesn't fall behind either, it's good too. I wish it had occurred to me to put an enlarged charger on mine…". He answers, lowering his voice a little at the end.
-"All right, all right. You're off the subject". His partner stops him laughing.
Kate laughs, Jill laughs, and that, that's all right.
Once the blonde stops laughing, remembers that she is working.
-"Then... The same as always?".
-"Finally". Jill decides to be dramatic.
-"Yes. The same". It's Jason who answers this time.
-"And excuse my partner". He's having trouble thinking on an empty stomach.
Jill throws another death look at her, but Kate smiles funny, and that, beats any murderous look Jill can give her.
The girl looks at the time, and breathes a prolonged sigh.
-"Good. They're marching in a bit". That's the last thing he exclaims before he turns around.
Jason continues his slow journey, and once she reaches the bar, they look across. And in a small outburst of courage, he decides not to look away in sadness. That's when the young woman gives him one of her biggest and most dazzling smiles.
-"Maybe... Maybe it's time I did". Cries out loud, a smiling Jason.
The picture is suddenly distorted, and the place changes completely.
Jason looks around with haste. The coffee shop is destroyed, there is no light, not even people; it goes, there was, as the bodies scattered on the floor are proof of it.
Jason denies with his head.
It's just a dream. Come on, wake up.
But it doesn't.
And then, as if that were not enough, a dry sound is heard, and immediately, the docked door is completely smashed.
The culprit could not be other than his nightmare, his pursuer, his shadow in this shitty city, his Nemesis.
-"No". The young man moans out loud.
-"STARS!". Cries out, the huge beast, beginning to move heavily toward him.
The young man is in a closed place, with the only visible exit behind his enemy, he should not lose control in these situations, but the day had been very hard, physically and mentally.
Without even a course or a plan, he starts looking for his gun, and that's when he only realizes the blood on his hands.
His face twisted into an expression of total fear and panic as he remembers. That blood... It's hers.
Close your eyes to the memory, the pain is too recent.
Meanwhile, your opponent approaches me sparingly, as if knowing in advance that he will finally be able to fulfill one of his objectives.
-"You took everything from me". Jason cries out, with pain in his voice.
-"Come on". Roars, the tears are starting to fall.
-"Let's get this over with. You and me". He goes on, clenching his fists tightly.
The whole place starts to stagger fervently, and Nemesis stops, expectant, he wasn't an asshole, at all. I'd already fallen for one of his tricks once, I wouldn't do it again.
But, to his surprise, the jolt stops, and Jason gives him a determined look.
It is time. Think Jason.
It's time to die.
Nemesis returns to his march, and he's already in front of him.
-"No!". A voice in the mind of Jason cries out with determination.
-"Remember. Remember your promise".
Jason just closes his eyes, ignoring his mind.
-"You promised me, Jason!. Come on!. You can do it".
-"No, I can't, Kate. I'm still that kid who ran away".
-"No!".
Nemesis finally lashed out with his tentacle, the same one with which he had taken her life, Jason would later think. The blow is thrown, but it never reaches its destination, as Jason finally opens his eyes.
He rolls unconsciously off the table, totally shocked. And from his position on the ground, the sky completely clear, and the sun's rays cloud his view.
-"Why?. Why now?". He moans out loud, starting to cry.
-"This damn Village!". Exclaims, striking the ground with his fist.
