After Byakuren returned to the Myouren Temple, she ended up killing herself through the use of a noose enhanced by her magic which allowed her to die. The reason for her suicide was that she became so ashamed of her actions during the Moriya Mist Incident and even more so when it was just publically blurted out by Jack Diehard at the Human Village. As a result, she was too ashamed and felt too guilty to go on living.

However, Mamizou discovered Byakuren's corpse, burned it, and decided to use the ashes as "evidence" for a plan she concocted on the spot, but that she wanted to pull off for a while. To keep Byakuren's death a secret, Mamizou decided to assume her form and now is "Byakuren".

She then went to see the other Buddhists to put her plan into motion.

"I have some grave news for you," "Byakuren," said. "Mamizou was murdered."

This shocked everyone present.

"What?! But by who?!" Ichirin asked in shock.

"Considering that she was immolated, there can only be one culprit," "Byakuren" said while looking at the ashes.

"I see…so it was that arsonistic Taoist then? She has gone too far!" Nue said.

"It must be retaliation for what happened at the Moriya Shrine that day. But this is too much... We cannot let them get away with this," "Byakuren" said.

"Do you think she did it on her own or was she ordered to?" Nazrin asked still looking mad.

"Considering that she has yet to be punished by the rest of the Taoists, it must be the latter," "Byakuren" said.

"So it's her Huh? Well, it seems like we should do something about it…" Shou said.

"Yeah! This is going too far!" Nazrin shouted in anger.

"Wait how will we even do this?" Murasa said.

"Well, you know what they say? Fight fire with fire," "Byakuren" said.

"Oooohhh. I see then. Well, how shall we do this?" Nazrin said.

"Well. We have a lot of oil, right?" "Byakuren" asked.

"Yes we do," Ichirin said.

"Then we shall use it to burn the Taoists to the ground," "Byakuren" said.

"Right!" The Buddhists said.

"Now then. Let's begin the mission at hand," "Byakuren" said.

All the Buddhists left, however, if they would have looked back as they were leaving, then they would have seen the sinister grin on "Byakuren"'s face.

-Meanwhile in Nitori's Secret Workshop, 30 minutes after Jack's rant, the Kappa Valley-

"He he he. It's finally ready. The goddess will love it!" Nitori said as she was now looking at the warheads which were now in the silos. The silos themselves were big enough to store the nukes that Kanako would use to rule over Gensokyo.

Kanako then arrived through the use of the bracelet that opens a portal for her to arrive. Which was created thanks to the help of a Gappy with portal powers.

"So, is it ready?" Kanako asked.

"It is! So, who is on the target list? You know, the first one to be nuked?" Nitori asked with a grin as she was eager to test out the nuke.

"Here," Kanako said as she hands her the list.

"That's basically everything but the Human Village and the Hakurei Shrine," Nitori said.

There was silence.

"So who do we blow up first?" Nitori asked.

"Oh, the Flower Youkai. She should be taken with haste," Kanako said.

"Right. Can't let her cause any more trouble, after all," Nitori said.

"Now…let us go do the launch sequence shall we?" Kanako said.

"Right!" Nitori said.

Both Nitori and Kanako then began the process of launching the first of the nukes.

This includes putting in the correct launch codes, having two keys that they had that then unlocked the buttons needed to be pressed to launch said nukes. Of course with having the first nuke targeting the Garden of the Sun.

Finally, after that process, the nuke was launched.

Above in the Kappa Valley, a horizontal door opened up, and out came the first nuke to be launched in Gensokyo's history. Several kappas and tengus witnessed this launch occurring as it began to fly in its direction.

-Meanwhile-

Yuuka was out and about, not knowing that a nuke was heading to where she is. She was trying to relax after what has occurred during the Moriya Mist Incident including the Incident with Arturo.

However, she was still down because of everything. She then heard noises akin to a missile and looked up. She saw the nuke and it was too late for her to stop it.

BOOM!

The Garden of the Sun was vaporized along with the remaining plants and fairies. A large crater filled with radiation was where the nuke landed.

In the center of said crater was the charred skeleton that was once Yuuka Kazami…

All while two tengus, Aya and Momiji arrived outside the blast zone. To see the destruction of the Garden of the Sun by the use of the nuclear weapons.

-2 Minutes Later, SDM ruins-

Remilia was on her makeshift throne with Sakuya by her side.

"Hmmm…you know what…I want to do something about the human population of Gensoyko…" Remilia said.

"What do you mean?" Sakuya said.

"Well…I was thinking of making them into personal livestock of mine. Except for Reimu, of course. She is too important," Remilia said.

"What?! What about Marisa, Sanae, and Kosuzu? And what about Akyuu?" Sakuya protested.

She really does not like the plan that her mistress has planned out.

"Them? They are all getting special privileges as the ones who will get special treatment from me. As in being better livestock to me. After all, Patchy does want those books back from that book thief," Remilia said without a slight hint of regret.

"But what will Reimu say about this? Isn't this going too far?" Sakuya protested.

Remilia was getting very annoyed with her disloyalty.

"And what will your sister say about this?" Sakuya asked.

"When did I give you permission to talk about my sister?" Remilia said getting angry now that she mentioned her younger sister Flandre.

"Please just think about this, milady. You've been making too many rash decisions, lately," Sakuya said.

"...I'm going for a walk. And I'd like you to accompany me. That is an order," Remilia said.

Sakuya couldn't say no to that. She just followed her outside.

"Sakuya? You made an oath. You were meant to be loyal to me and me alone," Remilia said to her, the vampire's face having no emotions whatsoever on her face.

"I know, but are you sure that this is the wisest course of action?" Sakuya asked.

"Oh, it is. It will put those humans in their place, after all…" Remilia said with a smile that showed her fangs.

They were in a nondescript place right now, away from everybody in the ruins of the SDM. No one will know they were there.

"Sakuya…do you know what I do with disloyal servants?" Remilia asked.

"I do not know, milady…" Sakuya said, confused as to why her mistress would say that.

"Let me show you," Remilia said as she finally turned around to face Sakuya.

Before the Haid Maid can see what's coming, Remilia fatally stabs her in the heart with Gugnir.

"Ever since that boy came, you became less and less useful. I should've done that all the way back when he destroyed the mansion and framed him for your murder. Farewell, Sakuya. I'll make sure your death doesn't go to waste," Remilia said.

Sakuya's corpse collapsed after Remilia removed her spear from the heart. The Vampire then burned it to hide the evidence and left once she was sure it had burned enough.

Remilia then came back to Patchy, Koakuma, and Meiling. Who were with several fairy maids.

"Milady? Where's Sakuya?" Meiling asked with concern.

"They killed her," Remilia said.

"They?" Meiling asked as she getting angry.

"The villagers. I am only alive because she took a fatal blow for me. We must avenge her," Remilia said.

This made Patchy, Meiling, and Koakuma very angry to know that Sakuya has been killed by the villagers. The fairy maids were ESPECIALLY angry since Sakuya has been very nice to them despite her sometimes cold personality.

"They will pay for this!" Koakuma said.

"Now the plan you proposed to me doesn't sound so bad after all…" Patchouli said.

Remilia had a sinister smile as everyone looked away.

'Everything is going according to what I have planned!' Remilia thought.

A/n: Yeah. Things are really. REALLY not going well.

Yuuka herself doesn't deserve all the hate as she did save the Hunan Village during the Moriya Mist Incident and also TRIED to prevent Arturo from killing the children of the Human Village. As a result, if you did watch DitR her death would have been tragic here.

The same applies to Sakuya as well as she cared for Broli but died for her disloyalty.

And yes Mamizou is the one going to be leading the Buddhists and she isn't merciful like Byakuren. I mean to be fair if she AGREED with Broli's death then she wouldn't mind killing off the Taoists just for being aligned with Broli during the Moriya Mist Incident.

With Remilia, Kanako, and Nitori revealing that they all are scums under their personas in this fic. You can see that this version of Gensokyo is nothing more than a snake's den with them always killing each other and the good people still there in Gensokyo around them.

You should mention in the Author's notes that you wonder how Spaz even expected things to recover with the way the Moriya Mist Incident ended.

I do wonder how Spaztique ever expected things to recover with the way the Moriya Mist Incident ended? Did he honestly think that the Gensokyians would actually forgive each other and mend their bonds? No. There are a huge amount of unapologetic traitors and all those who are broken beyond repair, including characters who will be very important in future canon events, will make it impossible for Gensokyo to recover as the bonds have forever been severed. As a result, none of the canon events will even happen at all.
