Hellooooooo my people! I'm updating early just because I kinda felt like it. Are you guys still interested in it? I can see that stats are declining, but hopefully, this chapter will pick it up a bit. Meh, oh well.
Anyways, special thanks to: Noiruna, NovaMey96, chlochlomcd, and the ZeQueenOfCards for favoutiting and following this story! I love you guys for it! 3 welcome!
Jazzy: HEEEEEEEEYYYY GIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLL! I'm glad I didn't change the characters around so much. And I know! It's hard to crush on a fictional character when you've got the real deal in front of you, but meh. What can you do?
…
Even after Honey's attempt of getting sweets failed miserably yesterday, he still tried. He tried talking to the club guests, trying to mooch some off them, but no luck. Actually, they ran away screaming that they were sorry. Damn, that boy's cuteness can really get him places.
"Gi-chan…" I hear his cute little voice fill the kitchen as I put my last dish away.
"Don't you dare." I give a stern look, but he seems to continue anyway.
"Do you think I'm a bad person? I just don't understand why god hates me…" There were tears in his cute little baby eyes. Oh god this kid is good, well, technically he isn't even a kid He's two years older than me, and I'm still 15 turning 16! That makes him 18 this year! Haruhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii help! I know you can hear me!
I sigh, "Honey I'm having with-drawls too…" I say sweetly, before I turn savage, "So don't you god damn dare play this card on me or so help me I will bite you! All that cake must have gone somewhere, and I'm four hundred percent sure that it's in your blood stream." I growl with the snap of my jaws.
But to my surprise, he doesn't back down, baring his own teeth at me, but they weren't normal oh no. They were sharp, shark like ones and I was almost certain he could take my hand off. "Give. Me…" All of a sudden, his look changed as he heard footsteps approaching the door. "Haru-chan…" He sniffled again, all new tears forming in his eyes, and his teeth went back to normal.
God, he's a bunny demon.
"Do you think I'm a bad person? I just don't understand why god hates me…" He starts again, and you can see Haruhi beginning to fold under the pressure. "…what have I done?"
I give him a small glare, and he gives one back, narrowly avoiding Haruhi's gaze. Oh he is so going down.
Haruhi checks her back, looking for any prying eyes. Is she actually going to give him sweets? And not me!? "Okay, fine. But only this once, got it?" Her hand disappeared into her pocket, and Honey's eyes lit up with hope and excitement.
"Is it a snack?"
"Yeah. Here." she pulls out the little packet, but I've done that mistake before. That ain't chocolate. "It's the same colour as chocolate. Try it."
Honey turns to me with a glare, before storming out of the room.
…
We closed up early today, since Honey and Mori's guests didn't want to show up in fear of Honey getting to them. Which is pretty smart on their behalf. Everyone sat around the table in the middle of the club room. The bunny demon was pacing a small circle in front of the kitchen door, clutching his bunny close to his chest.
"He's gonna crack." Tamaki notes, not breaking his eyes away from the pacing senior.
"Would somebody please talk to him?" Kaoru asks watching cautiously, "He's scaring me."
I sat on his right, "I told you he was a scary demon."
A collective stiffen of bodies waved across the room as the teenager throws open the kitchen door. "Ah!" Hikaru screams, "He's headed for the candy!"
"No need to worry." Kyoya calmly says, smirk plastered on his face. "We emptied out all the sweets."
I growl, "I know, I've checked." I grumble, earning a small smile from Kaoru, to which I gave my own. "Do you think Kyoya seems too happy about this? "I whisper to the nicer twin.
He nodded, "I just can't see why though…"
"AH! HE KEEPS DOING THAT TO MY TEDDYBEAR!" Kaoru and I jumped a little as the table shook from Tamaki's outburst.
I watched the senior sway away from the teddy bear, heading towards the door, but only just made it out of it before collapsing to the floor.
The poor little guy, I almost feel sorry for him, but he did bring it on himself.
"Well, there he goes." Kaoru says as the senior lays down on the ground.
"Three days and he gives up." His brother adds.
Tamaki stood from his chair and made his way over to him cautiously. "Ah Honey senpai?" He asks, slightly shaking the senior's shoulder, but just like he tried to do to me, he bit him. Like actually enclosed his mouth around his hand chomped down. Hard. "Somebody, help me! He's eating my arm off!"
"Honey! Stop!" I scream, watching Tamaki run around screaming but he pays no attention to me.
"Mitsukuni." Mori stood looking sternly at his cousin. "Don't take this out on other people." Honey seems to let Tamaki go, but kept his back turned to Mori.
Tamaki was released, and he was so relieved. The pain in his red hand was evident as he soothed it with his other hand muttering to himself. "You saved me. I thought I was a goner.
But Mori and Honey had locked eyes still, neither caring about the blonde. "It's disgraceful." and as soon as those words left his mouth, everything slowed down.
"Takashi…" Honey turned to his cousin, a glare in his eyes, but then it all sped up. One second Honey grabbed Mori and the next, he was sliding across the ground. "Takashi, you idiot! A little bit isn't gonna hurt me! You're so mean! You're such a hardhead! That's it! I hate you! I hate you, Takashi!"
We were all there in shock. Our jaws just dropped to the floor. We just saw Honey throw Mori across the room. That was his cousin, his best friend! And he tossed him away as if he was nothing! "Oh my god…" I managed to whisper. We all stared at Mori as he sat up in shock. His eyes were dull, and almost. You could see it written in his eyes. But that all changed and he just look…broken. Like the wall of emotion inside his mind had broken or at the very least cracked.
In a moment, Honey sprinted from the room, crying, screaming like a child. "Honey!" I shout running after him, trying to keep up with the senior. He was fast, like, insanely fast. "Please wait!" I shout to him.
"Honey Senpai!" Tamaki mimics from behind me. He was half way down the hallway before abruptly stopping. His head hung low, right next to a window that over looked a court yard.
His shoulder began to shake as I slowed my pace, enough so I was easily able to crouch in front of him. "Honey, are you ok?" I ask grabbing onto his hand, but he rips it from my grasp.
"I hate you Takashi! I hate you Takashi! I hate you Takashi! I hate you Takashi!" Honey's voice echo's through my head. He is not ok, and neither is Mori.
"Honey please, listen to me…" I say and he meets me with tears in his eyes. "I know you don't mean that. And you know you don't mean it. You love Takashi, and you need to hear what he has to say. He's only looking after you."
"NO!" He screamed as tears fell, "He hates me! He won't let me have my cake! I love cake…" He cried, and I pulled him close to me.
Tamaki stepped forward, "I think you need to hear what Mori senpai has to say. I think this is more than just not giving you sweets."
Honey continued to cry into my shirt, leaving a big tear mark. Wiping away more tears he sat up, and looked at me. "Let's go talk to Mori." I touched his shoulder, and I felt a hurricane of emotion. He was sad, angry, lonely, worried all at the same time. I gasped and lifted my hand off his shoulder, I blink and shake my head. "Come on. It's ok, we'll be right there with you."
"But what if he hates me?" He rubbed his eyes as more tears formed. I took his hand in mine, and began to lead him down the hall way.
"I don't think he could ever hate you." Tamaki says, taking his other hand. "Come on."
We slowly made out way to the door, and I opened it slightly, allowing the sound to travel through. "But if Mitsukuni has to get false teeth, it'll be my fault." We heard Mori speak. Was all perked our heads up at the sound. Even Honey takes an interest. He slowly opens the door more, silently squeezing his small frame the door.
"Don't worry. That's not gonna happen." The twins say, simultaneously.
"Wow, what a pessimist." I hear Haruhi Say.
Mori looked so…messed up. It's the best way to describe it. He wasn't even standing! "I wouldn't be able to live with myself right now, if he hadn't thrown me down." so Tamaki was right. There was something else going on in Mori's head.
"Because he felt at fault, Mori senpai wanted some sort of punishment from Honey senpai to make up for his failure." Kyoya explains.
Tamaki and I file in behind Honey. "Well, there you have it, Honey senpai. What will you do now?" He prompts, earning everyone's attention in the room.
The senior's lock eyes with one another, and Mori honestly looks terrified. But then, Honey shed a tear, then more and more before launching himself at the senior in a hug. "I'm sorry!" He screams, "I'm so sorry, Takashi! I promise I won't forget to brush my teeth again! I won't forget!" The two hug each other tightly.
…
And from that day on, Honey never forgot to brush his teeth. Isn't that nice story? Well no, it's not. There was still a ban on lollies and anything sweet for the next few days that I had to endure. But it was worth the wait when I was able to shove an entire cheesecake down my throat in one sitting.
But the one thing I did notice once the lollies returned, was Kyoya. He because so much more…I don't know, stressed. As in ripping out his hair because something is wrong stressed.
"What's with Kyoya senpai? He looks depressed about something." Haruhi asks standing beside me watching Kyoya with me. He had a negative aura around him.
"I don't know why-"
I was cut off. "Because Honey senpai's back to eating snacks again."
"All those sweets get expensive." Kaoru adds.
I don't know that kind of cakes they're buying but they can't be that expensive.
"Excuse me." A quiet voice catches my attention as she talks to Tamaki.
He looks surprised momentarily, but then regains himself to act like normal. "Oh my, looks like we have a new guest, gentleman." Tamaki noticed as she stared at the silent senior sitting on the couch. "Are you a fan of Mori senpai?" He asks and with a silent nod she walks over.
I turn my head to Haruhi. "That's her." She whispers.
"What's she doing here though?"
She looked awfully shy, holding onto her own hands tightly. Slowly, she made her way to the senior, to which Mori looked at her, emotionless as ever. But then, he glanced at Honey. "Oh Mori, I understand now. "She begins, looking towards the little senior who is happily shoving cake in his face. "I know who you feel so strongly about. And it's okay." She says, almost in tears. "I must say I find it a little surprising that it's Honey. To think he's so special to you. I don't know." She sighed, "It's just so… I can't explain it. It's just so... MOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Haruhi and I look with wide eyes, "Huh?!" We speak in time.
"Congratulations. You've just taken your first big step into a brand new world." Renge appears out of nowhere,
Mori begins to clean up Honey whilst so many girls watch in awe, "Mitsukuni, you've made a mess."
"That's right, ladies. It's moe. It's the greatest. I just can't get enough of it."
"You know, even though this whole thing may look and feel just like a happy ending, I'm not sure everyone out there would think moe is the best way to wrap things up." Haruhi complains
I gave up caring to be honest. I don't understand these girls, they seem to fangirl over every little thing about these boys. I mean yeah, they're good looking - don't ever tell them I said that - but just, I don't know. It's ridiculous. But hey, they're titled to their own stupid opinions.
"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" They all screamed at the same time, giving a high pitched screams and hearts sat in their eyes.
I poked my fingers in my ears, blocking them all out. Thank god.
…
Back on Asteria
…
With a sniff in the air, smoke travelled through Lachy's nostrils. The gardens outside were on fire once again, probably from that tantrum Blayze was throwing. He was unbelievably pissed off with Georgia getting away. The two of them had thought out the plan carefully. Everything from making her angry, to keeping Winter occupied to how he would taunt her to get her full power.
The spell he used was a magic transfer. By transferring Blayze's onyx fire into Georgia, he would have had power over her body, mind and soul. Now, a spell like this requires potions and rare ingredients, and what's worse is Blayze had to drink it. It's ones that Lachy had to break into the vault to get. Some of those items were so rare that it would take months before even finding it again. Who knew that a Phoenix feather be so hard to find? No one has seen one for hundreds of years…
Lachlan, he's been secretly studying magic extraction spells. Highly illegal of course, but he found a way to do it. And what he found was quite interesting. Asteria had been lied to. Extraction does not cause death, in fact, death is the worse things that could happen during extraction. Magic is linked to life, and its original life source…and that source is the person/creature.
If the person died during that extraction, that magic would have been lost.
Lachy was so pleased with himself, he smiled as he perfected his methods, and testing them on small selkies and what not he found in the water. After extracting their magic, he found they didn't die. He tracked small traces of magic left in the shivering creatures. Magic is energy, and with no energy, well, you might as well be severely sick. Your skin pales, you consistently shiver as if your cold, your motor function begin to slow…not a pretty sight.
The Day Wizard didn't seem to care how his patients ended up, but at the same time he did. He often checked on how she was doing in the dungeon, bringing her small bits of food and drink. Even gave her a blanket once.
He did have a heart, but he was a trickster. Do you remember how Lachy was completely calm when Che's got away? Well, there's a reason for that. It was blaringly obvious that Liam was going to get her out, and even how he did it. Lachy could just read it on his face. So he copied Che's work. Everything she had on her desk, he made a copy of. Its one sub skill he developed with lightning. He was able to travel at the speed of lightning. Only for a few seconds at a time, but just enough for him to get in, duplicate the books and get out.
Now, Lachy knew that she wasn't loyal, but he wanted to test by how much. And he was right, no loyalty at all. Mind you, he wasn't the most loyal but he will still fight for the winning side until they begin to lose. That's just how he plays.
He ran his finger over an original manuscript, feeling the ink marks of the words. It was a basic children's bed time story, but, if he -and Che'- were right, it held the key.
The page to Lachy's left was a spell. Written in beautiful cursive writing, although most of the page was crossed out, except for one line. One line was not crossed out, but instead, left in messy, cursive writing in the bottom left hand corner of the page.
He held the two together, before placing them side by side on his desk. He shut his eyes and took in a deep breath, calming and focusing his magic. He read from the page, "La nuit révèle la vérité invisible à l'œil"
His hand glowed with a yellow light as lightning left him and hit the page.
But it reflected. That zap was powerful, throwing him back against the wall of his little study room. "Sh*t…" he groaned looking at the small tender patch of flesh on his hand. Thoughts ran through his head as to why that just happened, but then it occurred. "She knew." He chuckled, raising from the floor and going back to the big wooden desk. "You knew I was going to do this, so you enchanted the scroll." He went to clap his hands, but decided against it, instead he sighed. "Oh well, let me look at this."
His electric blue eyes scanned this paper, and he raised his index to the paper, giving a small jolt of lightning at the page. It reflected off, charring the corner of the room. "Two can play at this game too. There's a reason I topped the class, alongside you."
Lachy looked at his collection of forbidden spell books, which he found in the hidden sector of the library. As far as Lachy was aware, neither Blayze nor Che' know about it. The books he found were covered in layers of spider webs and dust. The spells were hidden in cryptic languages and spells which did stump Lachy at times, but hey, perseverance pays off.
He flicked through one of the books, taking note of what he passed, before passing one that caught his eye. "Darkness Shattering Spell," He read aloud, "just what I need." he smirked, flashing his pearly whites at the array of papers on his desk.
This time he tried again, his hand glowing yellow releasing light as he muttered, "Dies Nox confractus, lux tenebris comminuit, latentia revelare verum in umbra…" he trailed off as his eyes glowed electric blue, and his hand released a strike of lightning on the paper. The paper turned black, but not from char, but from revealing the spell. The lightning strike began to eat away at the black spell, starting at the small point in the centre and working its way outwards.
His smirk grew as Che's spell wore away, crumbling into a black dust. "Let's try this again." He sucked in a breath, "La nuit révèle la vérité invisible à l'œil" He repeated Che's spell. Lighning left his hand once again, and nothing new happened. Lachy was faster this time though.
His left hand caught the lightning and it fizzled away into nothing. "Sh*t." He shouted slamming his fist on the desk.
"Why?" He mentally screamed at himself, "She's smarter than I thought." He moved frantically, picking up and scanning every piece of paper that had Che's writing on, growling with every piece of useless paper. "Why! Why! WHY!?" He scream pushing all of it off the desk.
He thought he was on track. He thought everything he was doing was right. He thought he had it all figured out, down to every last detail. And now it was crumbling apart right in front of him. It's like the situation all came crashing down on him. And he stopped thinking right.
He was almost fluent in the old magic languages, some of which doubled as languages on earth. He studied hard, in short periods of time, because he spent most of his time partying and illegally drinking. Dispite being a year older than everyone, he still only turns 17 this year.
He sighed sitting against the wall in defeat. He suddenly felt the weight of his situation hit him. He was the right hand man who controlled an entire realm right now with Fireons at his every command, some out of loyalty, the others out of fear. He over threw his own father out of jealousy. His father was in an arranged marriage to Queen Lillyana…Georgia's birth Mum. But instead, she chose a common Fireon who she apparently met at the marketplace.
Blayze wanted to be a royal. If his father had been chosen, he would have been a prince, and the overall ruler of Asteria. His original plan was to get revenge for his father to fight alongside him, but his father said no, and well…as you can imagine it didn't go well. That's all Lachy knew really, but Che' has just put him in a dangerous game, and he just lost his best weapon.
His eyes shut and he leant his head against. "Stupid Night Witch."
His eyes lit up, "Night Witch…of course you stupid idiot. She's a Night Witch!" He mentally slapped himself in the face for being so stupid. He's a Day Wizard. You can't use a night spell if you're a Day Enchanted being! He laughed at his own stupidity.
Quickly, he grabbed the book on Ophelion, one of the ancient languages. "Nuit means night…so if I just change it to daylight…." He clicked his tongue as he found the rogt word. For a third time he tried, "La lumière du jour révèle la vérité invisible à l'œil."
This time was difference. The lightning from his hand latched itself onto the words of the paper, ripping them from their origin on the page and thrown into the air. They began to re-arrange themselves, spelling out the location of the God of Time and Portals.
"Found you."
…
I would firstly like to apologise to the native French speakers for the horrible translation (google translates fault) but it was the best I could do.
Anyway, I don't really have much to report so I'll leave you to it. Let me know what you think in a review, and maybe tell me something that you want to happen. I'm a little slow on getting things done, but I have some really good ideas in the future of the story so please wait me out.
Anyway, Until Next Time,
Silva Out!
