Had to get there fast. Fast. Fast. Fast. Find the human who always had treats. Give her the message. Get the treats. Need to get there fast.
The same green Terrible Terror from before flew as fast as his wing could carry him over the ocean. He had stopped at the home island only to learn the human who he carried messages for and to was gone. The other Terrors said she got on a boat and went north. So away he went going north.
A cluster of ships came into view. He flew closer, eyeing the ship flags. A familiar Skrill figure was on one of the flags. This was the group of ships he needed! With a shriek he flew to the ship that had the Skrill on its flag. He recognized one of the humans thanks to his short red hair.
Shrieking he landed on the human who had a tasty smelling knife that wasn't to be chewed on. The other human scolded him that he couldn't eat it. The current human cursed and waved his arms trying to get him off but the Terror simply scurried around his armor while shrieking.
"You again," the human cursed. He perched on the human's armored wrist, panting eagerly. "Brought a message all the way out here? Smart little pain."
He handed the small scroll over with a churp. He scampered back up the human's arm to perch on his shoulder as he opened the scroll. For a few moments the human was quiet as were the other humans on the ship. They were watching both of them curiously.
"Change of plans everyone," the human shouted. "Icer crew, you will be heading to Berserk with some of my crew joining you. The rest of you, we are changing course."
"Where to chief?" one of the humans asked as some of the other humans tossed ropes to the other ships for some reason.
"The Murking Tribe. They need our aid handling a group of angry Scauldrons attacking their shipping vessels and keeping them landlocked."
A cheer rose from the other humans. Humans from the other two ships jumped aboard this one, asking to come with while others went below deck only to return with packs that they tossed to the other ships. They followed after the packs.
When the humans opened the hatch to go below deck he smelled the other human he knew. Eagerly he leaped off the red headed human and darted through their legs to dive through the hatch. The other two large dragons lifted their heads curiously as he scampered by. He gave a meaningless churp as he followed the trail.
It led to a fancy looking door that was closed. He sat there for a second, staring intently. How was he going to open this? His question was solved when the red headed human picked him up and pushed open the door. That was easy.
Inside was the other human, his favorite! She was sitting at a desk, scribbling on paper. She looked up when he chirped with a face full of surprise. As the red headed human filled her in he jumped out of his grasp and scurried onto her lap. Eagerly he rubbed against her while purring. She reached down and scratched his chin, his favorite spot, and he knew he could die happy.
"I can't believe you found us," the other human said. "What a good boy. You deserve a very special reward when we get home. For now, you can ride with us and take a break." That was nice too!
