Chandler's POV
"I like you for being who you are, Chandler. and you don't need to be like Richard," she said. I don't know what to say. Does she like me? I really can't answer that.
We just stood in the bathroom, frozen. Neither of us moving, when she speaks again, "So, what now?"
I looked at her, "Now, we should probably sleep,"
"No," she quickly replied, "About this,"
"I don't know, Mon. Forget about it? It'll be awkward between us if we ever talked about it again," I said.
She sighs, "I thought you liked me," her head went down all of a sudden.
"I do like you,"
"Then, why aren't you doing or saying anything,"
"What?" I asked her.
"I'm here Chandler, just say it,"
"Say what?"
"You know what to say,"
"I—" she cut me off, "Just say it,"
"Say it!"
I'm getting pressured right now, I don't know what to say, so I leaned in instead and kissed her softly on the lips.
She was surprised but she kisses me back, her arms intertwined around my neck. I heard her moaned at the back of her throat. My hands went to her waist pulling it into mine. Seconds later, we stopped. Connecting my forehead to hers, catching each other breaths. "That was um..." she's still breathing in and out, "Good," she said.
I brought my hand up and move the strands out of her face to see her. "I really like you, Mon" caressing her cheek.
"I like you too, Chandler,"
"Really?"
"Yeah," she leaned in and we kissed again.
It was more passionate than before. My hands travel around her stomach and felt her skin. She shivered. Her fingers scratched my scalp which caused shivers around my spine.
My lips went to her cheek, temple, jawline until they went to her neck. Her breathing became shallow.
My fingers brushing her belly, but she stops it, "Chandler, wait" she said.
I brought my head up, "What?" kissing her forehead and stare at her eyes.
"I just don't—," I know what she's gonna say and I agree with her.
"Oh, it's okay, Mon. I agree with you,"
"Really?" she sounds surprised
"Yeah, if you're not ready, then it's okay."
She smiled at me, "Thanks,"
"Can I ask you something,"
"Sure,"
"Do you have plans tomorrow?"
"Not really, why?" she's grinning.
"Do you want maybe—"
"Yes!" "Let me finish, Mon," I chuckled.
"Do you want maybe... I don't know... have dinner with me?" trying not to sound nervous but it did.
"Yes," she smiled.
I peck her lips, "I'll get you at 7:00 pm,"
"You'll get me?" she joked. I just leaned in again and mumbles against her lips, "Yeah, I'll get you," her breath hitched.
"Let's go to sleep, Rachel's maybe looking for you,"
We walked out of the bathroom and headed to the door, "Thanks for shaving my Goatee, Mon,"
She grabs my face and stroked my cheek, "What does it feel like to kiss you with that on," still touching my face. "I'll try to grow it back if you want to," she shakes her head, "Don't it doesn't look good on you," she teases. "Just kidding," she kissed me, "Goodnight, See you tomorrow,"
"See you too, Good night," I give her one final kiss.
Then she went back to her apartment. I smiled thinking about the kisses earlier. I can't believe it, I kissed Monica Geller and I asked her out. Tomorrow is going to be a new day.
