Chandler's POV
We're almost heading to our destination, and Monica is looking out the window, still had no idea where we going to eat, "Okay, Mon, you need to close your eyes," I said to her, she turns her back on me, "Why?" she asked.
"Because we're heading to our destination,"
"Really?!" She exclaimed and looking back at the window. I laugh at her, "Mon, I'm just joking," laughing at her, she slowly turns to me and shot me a death glare, "Your such a jerk," She said.
I put out a fake pout, "A jerk you like," I said. She shyly smiles away, "I hate you," she chuckles softly.
"But, really please close your eyes, we're almost there," grabbing her shoulder to look at me, "and don't look at the window,"
She rolled her eyes, "Okay, Mr. Bing," she closes her eyes, and I wave my hands in front of her face, seeing if she would flinch, but she didn't.
Then an idea struck my head, I peck her lips softly, and she opens her eyes, "Hey! I said no peeking!" I laughed at her.
"You kissed me!" she looks at me, half shocked and half-mad.
"I'm sorry, I can't resist it," I smiled.
She leans towards me, kissing me tenderly on the lips, I melt from the softness of her lips but realizing that we're almost there, I move away from her slightly, "We're almost there, Close your eyes now,"
"My eyes were close until you move away," She smirks at me. This devil woman.
"Nu-uh, that's not gonna work. Please. Pretty please Mon, I really wanna surprise you," I begged at her which she laughs.
"Okay, little girl," she joked.
She sighs, "This better be good Bing," she said.
"Oh, this is good," I think.
The cab suddenly stops, "We're here," the driver said. We got outside the taxi, "Don't peek, I'm just gonna pay the cab," I whispered to her ear.
As I pay the driver, I look at Monica, seeing if she will peek and I'm surprised she didn't. I went back to her, kissing her shoulder, and she slightly jumps, "Chandler?!" Her eyes still close.
I silently laugh at her, "Give me your wallet," making my voice sounded like a mugger.
"You scared the crap out of me, be thankful I didn't open my eyes," she said.
"Thank you, and by the way, we're here," I said to her, turning her body, in front of the restaurant, and standing beside her, "Open them," I whispered to her ear.
She slowly opens her eyes, and she looks at the sign Ja George's. Her mouth wide opens same as her eyes and she looked at me, joyfully.
"You didn't?!" She exclaimed, "AHHH!"
I cover my ears as she screams and people starts to stare at us, "Shh, Mon, some people are staring,"
"I don't care, Oh my gosh. You're the best, Chandler," she said, hugging me tightly and I smiled into her hair.
"Well you said, that this is your favourite restaurant and none of your boyfriends didn't take you here so..." I said as I stroke her hair.
She looked up to me, "I said that to you like three years ago, How could you remember?"
I shrug my shoulders, "I just don't forget anything about you, I really want to make you happy that's why I learned about your likes and dislikes," I said, staring at her eyes.
She smiles at me, kissing me on the cheek, "You're the sweetest," she whispered.
"Well, the sweetest guy didn't deserve a kiss on the lips?" I playfully asked as she laughs.
She leaned up and kiss me passionately on the lips, I push my head into hers, trying to deepen it. I know we're in a public place but I really don't care. My only focus now is on hers.
We broke it off, catching our breaths together, "We should probably get in now," I mumbled, still gasping.
"Yeah,"
We hold each other's hands as we go inside. This is going to be fun.
We talked, laughed, and slightly cried together. We had fun. I've never enjoyed a date like this with someone else.
Sometimes when I date a woman, I don't really come out of my shell, and that leads to an awkward atmosphere. But with Monica, she already knows me. So I'm free to make jokes and be myself.
"Stop, you're ruining my make-up," she said as she continues to crack up.
"Really, I dance one of my father's shows, and I'm the only white boy, who dances on the stage. It was weird, and I didn't even get to be paid," I told her all about my childhood that none of the gang knows about.
"Okay, your turn. What's your secret that I don't know about?" I asked.
She wipes her tears from her cheeks, straightening her body, and thinking something, "Okay, when I first met you. I had a crush on you," She confessed.
"Really?!" I asked in disbelief.
She nods her head enthusiastically, "No way, I don't believe you," I said, taking a drink of my wine.
"Then don't. I really thought you're cute even with your flock of seagulls hairstyle,"
"Really? How—"
"Because, you're cute," she said, grabbing my hands, linking our fingers together.
"Then why the year after that you cut off my toe?" I asked.
She stares at me, unable to say anything, "You said only one secret," trying to make an excuse.
"Then asked me, anything that you don't know," wanting to know her answer to my question.
"Okay, how long do you like me?" she suddenly asked.
My body froze for a while, really don't know how to answer that question.
I sigh, "That time we're all at the coffee house, and we're singing smelly cat. You were holding my hand that day, and I just felt something towards for you after that...,"
I said in a low voice.
She just stares at me and I think she's trying to remember it, "Oh... OH. That was a long time ago, why didn't you tell me?"
I scoffed, "You were with Richard at that time, how could I tell you that I like you. And I thought it was gonna be a while so...," I shrug my shoulders, finishing the rest of my wine.
Monica just looks at me, "I'm sorry, I should've seen it," looking to our hands as she strokes her thumb onto my hand.
"It's okay, Mon. We're here now, and that's all it matters," kissing her hand softly.
"So why did you cut off my toe?" I asked, going back to our discussions earlier.
She groans in frustration, "Well..."
We walked out of the restaurant, going back home, and I teased Monica saying that I'm mad at her for cutting my toe off, and vice versa for calling her fat.
"Chandler, I'm sorry. Pwease, forgive me," grabbing my arms, giving her cutest voice.
I tried not to smile but she keeps looking at me to the point I break off character.
"Apology accepted," I said kissing her cheek, "Hey why didn't you apologize to me. You called me fat," she said, now she's the one who turned to stay mad at me.
"We could do this all night," I said.
"Yeah, you're right," she smiles.
"Do you want to go home?" I asked her, putting my hand to her hips, gazing at her eyes.
"Yes..." she whispered, leaning up to kiss me softly.
Is tonight's the night? To be honest, I don't know. She said yesterday that she wants to take it slow... We just have to find out later...
Apartment Building
"We're here," walking her across her apartment.
We didn't talked all the way here in the apartment, just nervousness around us. Both of us don't know what to expect what will happen tonight. But if she's not ready yet, it's fine by me. All I want is Monica.
"Yeah, here we are..." she whispered, looking at her apartment.
After a few moments of silence, I got the courage to speak up, "I had fun tonight. I think this the best date I've ever had," I said to her.
She turns around me, "Ditto, I've never been comfortable with anyone else," she smiles at me. She looks down on her purse and mumbles, "Do you want to go inside, for a moment?" slightly nervous about her question.
"Yeah,"
We went inside and I think Rachel went to sleep early, "Coffee?" she asked, walking towards the kitchen.
"Water, is fine," she grabs two bottles of water and gave the other one to me.
"Thanks,"
We sat on the chair, closer to each other. "Chandler what are we now?" she asked under her breath. I suddenly looks at her, taken by the question, "It's up to you, Mon. But I would really want to be your boyfriend if it's okay with you. But if not, I'll continue to try to make you mine," I said, taking her hands and kissing it.
She smiles at me, leaning her head to my side forehead, looking at our hands, "Well, I would really love to be your boyfriend and I really like you," she said, stroking my hand.
I look at her, our faces are inches apart, "So is that a yes?" looking directly at her eyes. "Yes," she nodded, giving my lips a peck.
Oh my god, I'm Monica Geller's boyfriend.
I pulled her into a hug which she accepted, "Oh my god, I promise you Mon, that I will never hurt you," I mumble through her hair. She chuckles, "I know you won't," breaking off the hug, "and I'll do the same to you," she said.
I stare at her for a moment and kissed her like never before. I pressed my lips against her even harder, threading my fingers through her hair. I parted slightly giving our time to catch our breaths for a second then crashing again to her, making her moan at the back of her throat.
She puts her tongue on me, roaming around my mouth. This would take I while I thought.
"God, you tasted good," I mumble against our lips. I felt her grin on my lips, and we both stand up, our lips still connected.
She pulls me towards her room and realized what's going to happen, I break the kiss, two of us, gasping, "I thought we're going to take it slow,"
"Fuck, that. I want you already Chandler," she said, breathing heavily. Then crashing her lips to me, pulling me into her bedroom.
"Well fine by me," I said, making her laugh.
And by that, we enjoy each other company.
