HEY GUYS! I'm back! And I'm sorry this is so late! So I think what I'm going to do is update on the 31st/1st of each month. Hopefully I can pump out more chapters by then! I've got so many things I want to write about but I just need to get to them! Anyway, I'm sure you guys don't always read this!
Special thanks to: Izaria for joining this crazy rollercoaster of a story. I hope you don't think that you'll be getting off anytime soon!
DarkSideofWonderland: Yeah that's it. I know it's not much, but I really do appreciate that you're staying with this story and letting me know what you think! Magic is linked to energy in this world. For example, if you were a beginner runner and went for a 20km run without training, you'd be exhausted, but if you were to train then you'll do that much easier. But in other words, yes, she needs more training.
Izaria: Welcome on board! It's nice to hear from new people! I'm glad you liked the story and I hope you got a good sleep the next night. I'm so glad that you really like the story so far! Sometimes I think that it's a bit boring, but because of amazing people like you that I keep writing! Here's the next part!
…
There, was fire, lots of it. Flames licking at the walls, burning the carpet to ash. There was no way out. All doors were blocked and the hallways seemed to go on forever. She couldn't find him, but she knew she never would. This has happened before.
"You can't stop me."
The voice echoed through the building as she ran, jumping over burnt broken pieces of wood. The fire roared, baking her skin, like she was being roasted in an oven…alive.
"No one can."
Embers flew around her feet with every step, almost beautiful, but very, very dangerous.
"I will rule your world."
The fire was burning brighter, heat becoming more intense. It blocked her way forward, transforming into a being of fire. A long, burning hand extending toward her.
"But you can join me."
The girl stopped, glaring up at the fire creature with her dark red eyes.
"We can take over Earth…together."
The girl glared, her hand gripping the wood of her spear before she attacked, "Fuck off." She swiped her spear through the head of the fire creature, causing it to disappear, along with the rest of the fire. "You can't control me anymore. So stop trying to get me to change my mind!"
Her screaming voice echoed into the charred room. Everything was burnt to a crisp, black covered every object in the area. She knew this place, and she knew what was behind every door.
"I'm always here…"
The voice echoed through her head, but she rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah," She rolled her eyes, "You're not going to leave me alone, and you're not going to let me forget what happened here."
She knew exactly what this was, it was just another reminder. A reminder of how cruel she was at heart. How evil she really was. But her mind is strong, and it cannot be broken so easily.
He may have been able to take over, but she fought back. She will never back down, and she will never surrender. There's a fire in her heart that not even a Fireon can take away.
"You know who you are, and you are ruthless. Just look what you did to this place."
She rolled her eyes again, "Look, are you going to keep me up all night, or can I go back to bed?" She shouted to the voice, bored with the situation.
With the swing of her spear, she cut at the wall, slicing it until it all came crumbling down, taking her away from this burnt out nightmare.

…
As soon as I got home yesterday I slept, as in, I slept from about 5 pm o 7 am. Holding up a building like that, it takes a lot of energy, and therefore a lot of magic.
I was waiting for Haruhi to meet me, but she seemed to be running a bit late this afternoon. Because of yesterday, the school gave us the day off, but because of the whole catastrophe yesterday.
But that does mean that host club is still on. Haruhi is never usually this late to anything, so I'm starting to wonder what's going on.
"Sorry we're late!" I hear her call from down the street, catching my attention.
Out of an instant reaction I call out, "All good!" But then it clicked, "We?" Walking beside Haruhi, skateboard in hand stood Niko. The girl hadn't really changed much since yesterday.
Same black jacket and ripped jeans, same brown knee high boots, just with a white shirt underneath her jumper. "Sup G." She smirks walking up to me.
"What are you doing here?" I ask, and she just shrugs.
"I bumped into Ru on my way into the city and she said I could come and join her at this 'Host Club'."
I raise an eyebrow, "Are you sure you want to go to Host Club? Do you even know what it is?" I ask and she shook her head.
"Look, all I know is that there's free food and hot guys so yeah, I'm going."
I guess there's no changing her mind.
For the next twenty minutes, it was a walk of just general boring conversation talking about the day before. So nothing fun, but what was fun was Niko cursing at how rich the place looked.
"It's so…" She trailed off looking down the hall, "Pink."
I laughed "You're not wrong."
Haruhi walked into the room first, leading the way with her Ouran Uniform. I followed in next, and Niko just snuck in behind me. Everyone just seemed to be setting up, not noticing that we had just come in.
"Haru-chan!" Honey bounded over to her jumping into a hug.
She smiled, almost sleepily, "Good morning Honey-senpai."
He jumped to me next, like a monkey from one tree to the next, "Gi-Can! There's more cake here!" He squeals excitedly, and my grin increases.
"Yes!"
I looked back to Niko who kinda stood off to the side, I guess she didn't really know where she fits in in this group. We all made our way over to the tables where the tables were being set up for the guests, ready for the day. We still had another hour or so before the club actually opened, so why not just lounge around?
"Niko?" Kaoru tilted his head, standing from his chair.
His brother remained seated, and I managed to see the small white bandage from under his pant leg. I think he noticed me too because he shifted his leg hiding it away. Is he embarrassed?
Kaoru's words caught everyone's attention, everyone looking at the girl in question. "What are you doing here?" Hikaru asks, shifting his gaze away from me.
Niko shrugged, "Ru invited me to check this place out."
I saw sparkles rise around Tamaki, who swirls to life, "Our dear princess has returned! Tell me, is it me that you missed? Is that what brought you back?" He appeared beside her, giving her a rose that he just seemed to pluck out of thin air. "A Rose for fore the princess with rose coloured hair?"
Niko's green eyes just scanned the rose, before looking to Tamaki. I bet if she had fire powers, she would have burned that rose to a crisp, "Could you not?" I saw her nose start to twitch, especially with the rose in her face.
Tamaki jumped back in pure horror, "What?" He looked at her with sad, scared eyes, "You don't want it?"
Her nose twitched some more, before she sneezed. "Achoo."
Haruhi tilted her head to the side, "Do you have hay fever?"
Niko nodded, "Yeah, it's really annoying." She began to wander, "Damn, this place is nice." Her eyes were scanning everything, taking it all in…almost greedily.
"Mummy!" Tamaki cried out, cowering in the corner, "My daughter just rejected my rose!"
Those green eyes of Niko snapped to Tamaki direction before storming over, grabbing his collar with such strength she was almost able to lift him off the ground, "I am no one's daughter. We are not family." She growled, and the whole room went silent. "Got it?"
The blonde nodded quickly before he was dropped to the ground.
Niko looked back to everyone, "What?"
Honey still clung to me, a small frown on his face, "She's still scary…" He whispered to no one in particular.
I saw her glare at Honey, but out of no reason. Sure she seems to be this angry character, but Honey? You cannot glare at Honey to save your life.
There was a knock at the door, and Haruhi shrugged as she went to answer it. Niko on the other hand sat down next Hikaru and Kaoru, chucking her feet up on the table, just relaxing.
…
Third Person
…
Niko's eyes wandered around every glimmering object in the room. Phones, tablets and laptops, hell, even the pens seemed to have some sort of value.
Seriously? A gold plated pen? She thought to herself watching as the older guy with jet black hair began righting something down, occasionally looking at her in the process.
From her seat at the table she just took it all in. This place was too…decorative. There was no need to have a place look this pretty. It looks expensive and the money they used here could have spent on something better, like those on the street.
Niko noticed Kaoru twirling a small gold thing in his hand. It drew her attention quickly, purely because the shine of the gold caught the light. She watching him fiddle with it, before he turned to her.
"Do you like it?" He asked, holding it out for her to see.
She was taken back by his question, usually people tend to hide things when they notice someone staring at their things, tucking them away for safe keeping. "I guess." She tried to keep her eagerness to take it right from his hands to a minimum.
It wold be so quick and easy, just like taking candy from a baby.
"Yeah, I actually made it." He smiled, looking over the craftsmanship.
Of course you wasted gold like that…She had to stop herself from rolling her eyes, "Really?"
Kaoru nodded, and Hikaru agreed, "We both made one each."
Niko couldn't help but smirk. Prefect, two pure gold things to steal…
Actually, she didn't pay much attention to it asides from the gold. She looked again, noticing that it was an arrow with a moonstone at the base of the head. "How did they even let you near this stuff? What if you fucked it up? And is that a moonstone?" Niko was more shocked that it wasn't a diamond or something.
She saw a small smirk play on the twins lips, "We're good enough not to."
She rolled her eyes, leaning back in her chair, "Whatever you say boys."
Kaoru held it out to her, and she furrowed her eyebrows, "You like moonstones? Here, take a look."
She picked it up, feeling the cool feeling through her fingertips. It sent a chill up her spine. It felt like all the cold weather just went straight into her jacket. "Bloody hell." There was a faint hint of an English accent in her voice. Probably picked it up from…you know what, never mind.
"You ok?" Kaoru asked, and she nodded.
"Never been better." She began turning the arrow in her fingers. If she took this right now and ran, these boy's would never catch her. No one has ever caught her. She can get away with everything.
…except for once, when Georgia caught her. No surprise there though honestly.
She'd probably struggle getting away from the two seniors in the room. Takashi Morinozuka and Mitsukuni Haninozuka, if you hadn't heard their names, well, you knew nothing. They were tough, and incredible opponents. She was almost thankful she never had to fight them.
"It's just cold." She pulls her jumper over her tighter.
Kaoru arched an eyebrow, "Cold? It's really warm in here today."
Haruhi opened the door and everyone turned that way.
Now's my chance.
She didn't even have a chance to close her hand before Kaoru turned his head back.
Or not…I should have been faster about that. She mentally face palmed for not being quicker. As far as she was aware she couldn't see any cameras in the room. The security system from outside must be so advanced that they never even expected someone to make it to the inside.
"You can keep it if you want." Kaoru turned to her and she felt her stomach drop.
Her stomach tensed, looking at Kaoru with suspicious green eyes, "Excuse me?"
Kaoru gave off a nervous laugh, "well, you saved my life, so I thought I could repay you."
She looked down to the golden arrow in her hand again, feeling its value through the weight of it. She suddenly didn't want it.
"I don't want it."
She noticed Georgia glare at her, "You could at least be nice about it." She growled, and Niko smirked.
"Alright kiddo." She turned from Georgia to Kaoru. "I don't want it, thank you." Sarcasm dripped from her voice, leaving no subtlety about it as she pushed the arrow back across the table.

Georgia P.O.V
…
Oh my god she frustrates me. She's just an ass, literally giving up a pure god trinket. Like, he was giving it to her because she saved his life! If that isn't gratitude, I don't know what it is.
Whilst I don't really get given gifts, asides from that one time Lian gave me that little butterfly clip. It always appears in my hair every time I transform.
I almost saw the disappointment in Kaoru's eyes, but he did a really good job of hiding it. The poor thing. My feet took themselves towards Kaoru, and I rested my chin on his head. "Don't pay any attention to her. I'm sure she's used to that." God I sound like an ass, but this girl deserves it.
"Don't worry," She smirked, "You're just jealous that you're not getting the attention from the guy she likes."
I stand up straight, "Excuse me?"
"You heard me kid." She's pushing me on purpose, before she glanced at Hikaru, who wouldn't even meet my eyes.
I glared, "I don't even like anyone!" I glare before I begin to march towards her but Kaoru pulled back on my wrist.
"It's ok."
"IT'S CHIKA CHAN!" We all heard Honey shout from the front door, sitting up on Mori's shoulders, little flowers dancing around his head.
I narrowed my eyes on the door, and there was a middle school kid standing there, looking in at us. He had short brown hair, and a small set of glasses set upon his face.
"So, what's up? You rarely come over to the high school like this to see me." Honey sounded so happy.
I raised an eyebrow, "Who is that?"
"Yasuchika Haninozuka…" I heard Niko mutter under her breath.
"Honey has a brother?" I ask and the twins look at me with a nod.
"Yeah, how'd you know?" Hikaru asked, "I thought you were clueless about Honey-senpai's family?"
I looked back to Niko, who was looking down, as if trying to hide. "I am…"
"Prepare yourself, Mitsukuni." I heard him say, before jumping through the door, foot heading straight for Honey.
Honey was almost as light as an Air Enchanted, launching himself up off the tall boy's shoulders and into the air with such ease, landing on the ground in a crouch.
"Woah, what the hell?" I say running over to them, worry all over my face. My hand was balled into a first, but I don't think I could help much in a fight like this.
"Hey come on! Cut it out, you guys! Mori senpai!" Haruhi calls out looking to the all senior for help.
He didn't do anything, he seemed hardly phased, "Hmmm?"
"What do you mean 'hmm'?" Haruhi shouts at him.
Chills went down my spine as Renge appeared, rising from the ground like the demon she is. "Woah! Did you see that?!" Renge shouted, almost like she's an announcer. "Honey senpai dodged Chika's preliminary attack! This is gonna be good!"
"What the hell is going on? Why are they fighting?" I ask. Family isn't supposed to fight…I can't stand it when family fight.
Nobody else asides from Haruhi seemed to care, "Honey senpai is able to fly through the air with such grace. He's like a modern day Ushiwakamaru! Woah! Chika attacks again without even giving him a chance to regain his balance! Incredible! He dodged his attack and tripped him! Neither of them is gonna give. They keep flashing out with ferocious techniques."
Everyone began gathering around, standing next to me.
"So, they're at it again."
Kyoya sighed, "I wish they would have chosen a better location to do this."
"Wait! Why are you guys so calm?!" Haruhi shouts, and I see her stiffen as soon as Chika pulled out a staff. "Hey! No way! The use of weapons should be against the rules!"
My stomach tightened, watching as the fight heats up, becoming more intense. "I don't think there are any rules…" I mutter, hearing Niko chuckle from behind us.

Third Person P.O.V
…
Niko smirked, watching the two go head to head. Seeing the two Haninozuka's fight made her smirk, knowing that with every hit and every kick could cause so much damage. One hit from either boy could break someone's bones, and in all honesty, probably kill them.
She knew that the Haninozuka's had to engage in battle at the mere sight of another family member. It keeps them on their toes and heighten their senses.
Yasuchika swung at Mitsukuni, launching the small boy into the air. What a brilliant plot.
"Woah! He knocked him out of the park!" One of the twins say.
"This may be his first win!" The other finishes.
Yasuchika pants from the intense battle, but she smirked looking at how he lost. That's right, Yasuchika lost. And she knew why. It may have been hard to see, but she knew exactly what to look for.
"I gotcha." He huffed, pushing his glasses up.
Niko shook her head, before the weird announcer girl who popped up out of the ground stood and did the same action. "Sorry, but I don't think so. The winner of this fight is Honey senpai."
Mori agreed, "Renge is right about that." He says, before Yasuchika looked down, seeing the shuriken pinning his trousers to the ground, two on each leg. "See? He got you."
"How the hell did he do that?" Yasuchika shouted as a screen came down.
"In the heat of battle, Honey senpai was able to attack with his Shuriken before Chika noticed!" The screen displayed the whole scene, showing exactly what she saw, but what everyone else missed. Mitsukuni pushed back off the staff and was he flew away he threw the four shuriken at Yasuchika's feet.
Niko noticed Georgia and Haruhi's shock, chuckling to herself at how oblivious they both were. "There are no rules in a match like this."
"He uses Shuriken… Haruhi just seemed to be in complete shock,
"His attack has left Chika utterly defenceless! What a great fight!" Renge seemed so happy, before she lowered herself back into the depths of hell, probably to sit on her throne.
…
Asteria, third person
…
"Are you still trying to get through to her?" Amber huffed, flicking her braid off her left shoulder.
Her sister nods in agreement, "Yeah, what's the point? You can't keep doing this every night you'll be exhausted."
The three Fireons sat in the throne room, with Blayze sitting on his throne, almost falling asleep. "She's powerful. And I need power."
The twins looked at his simple sentence, "But you've got enough fire power to go around."
"You literally have the entire Fireon nation under your control, what good is another one going to do?"
Blayze's tired red eyes just blankly looked at the two girls, "It's a part of my master plan, and I think she is one of the key elements."
"Just so you know," Amber started, huffing.
"Mika tried breaking in again…" Her sister mimiked, blowing her orange bangs out of her face.
Blayze arched an eyebrow, "Tamika? Again?" He was getting surprise with the girl's persistence.
"We try leaving her at home…"
"But she just desperately wants to be here…" The twins finish each others sentences. Just like they had for years.
"I wish Mum hadn't let her have those circus lessons."
"I think she hung out with the escape artist too much."
The young king knew how the Fire Twins felt about Tamika. The girl was only a year or two younger than the three of them, but might as well have been as annoying as a toddler. They did not really care for their younger sister.
But then, something sparked in Blayze. An idea formed in his head, and a mischievous smirk tugged at his lips. "Next time, let her come. I want to see how far she can get."
The twins were shocked, "What are you playing at?" They asked, intrigued was to what he would want with their imp of a sister.
With a glare, Blayze looked at the two.
Amber and Ember just looked at one another, slight confusion but then, with a shrug, "Whatever you need, we're here for your highness," They both and speak simultaneously.
And with that, they left the room, leaving him to mope around, almost asleep in his chair. He felt connected to that girl Earth from, there was a reason why they could connect through dreams, without the use of a Day or Night element.
He played with the Asteria pendant around his neck, twisting it between his pointer and thumb. You could feel the magic radiating off it, and it was powerful just sitting there untouched. It was just pure energy. But no one had any idea how to harness it.
He smirked, before sighing as he thought over his plan. Ruling both Asteria and Earth would be nice, but that is just a side goal. Everyone has their secrets, and no one knew his. This one he's keeping with him to the grave, however, there is one person who would have any idea.
But they were in isolation in the dungeon. No one knew he existed there. Not even Blayze's closest advisors knew. It was him, and him alone. That stupid old man will never escape.
Leading everyone to believe something is so easy.
"Soon…" He said twirling his hand around letting snowflakes around his hand, before they were engulfed in fire, "All the pieces will fall into place."
The pendant of Chrono's was with Lachlan, and he should be done within a few days. So soon, soon he will walk both realms.
Only problem was, Earth can't sustain magical life.
The last time he went to Earth, he came back throwing his guts up. With no magic on Earth, or hardly any, it couldn't sustain him, not for long enough. He had never felt that weak in his life.
He hated it.
But that posed another question, why can that brat survive on Earth? Georgia is nowhere near as strong as he is, but yet, she's been there for months now.
It didn't make any sense.
He rolled his eyes, sighing in annoyance. He'll get Lachy onto it, as soon as he stops tormenting the girl.
He'll return to Earth soon, maybe. He'd rather not go back so soon, sending his minions in until they work out the best way to safely be there.
One day…
…
So that's another chapter done! I hope you guys enjoyed it! Let me know what you want to see more of!
My question for you today is: Who is your favourite character from Asteria and why?
