The next day passed normally. It remains that I would accompany Inogashira so that she can join the Drama club. I had told him that we will meet after school so that our classmates don't ask too many questions.
It was also better to meet outside the school complex because I didn't want Inogashira to be flustered by all the looks they were going to give us if I approached her after classes were over.
I was the first to arrive at the place where we had arranged to meet. Don't wait long before Inogashira arrived as he nervously looked around.
"Ah, N-Nakatomi-san" Inogashira shyly approached me.
"So, are you sure? I mean. To join the club" I asked.
Inogashira took a deep breath before nodding her head with a look of determination.
"Yes. I-I won't deny it ... I ... I'm still a bit nervous about what they might tell me for trying to join me too late, but I'll trust the words you told me, Nakatomi-san"
I smiled at her bravery. This was the first step for Inogashira to grow as a character "That's the spirit" I give him a thumbs up "And you don't have to worry. I'm sure you will be accepted into the Drama club"
I just had to convince the drama club captain that Inogashira was pretty good at making costumes. I mean if her hobby is sewing then she must really be very good at it.
"I really appreciate the help. Nakatomi-san"
"Don't worry. I really don't mind helping you," I replied honestly.
I'm really not upset about helping Inogashira. I don't consider myself a person who likes to help everyone like Yōsuke. I am selfish like every human being that exists on this planet, but that does not make me a bad good person.
Many people may call being selfish the worst defect a human can have, but that is not necessarily true. Selfishness can indeed be used to seek pleasure at any cost. However, there is another kind of selfishness, which seeks to meet our own needs for our well-being or to be able to be used by others.
An example of positive selfishness can make "Selfish people safer and less likely to give up their goals." It's something I can relate to right now. I mean I have a goal in my life, would it be wrong for me to want to achieve my goal? Of course not, many people may say to quit when things are going wrong, but what if I want to hold on to the desire to want to fulfill it?
Many people can do morally wrong things in life to achieve what they want, but are they wrong to do so? Maybe it is, but as long as you know that there are limits that you cannot exceed. Then it's okay.
An example could be when you cheat on exams and break school rules, this can be considered morally wrong for many people, but what if no one catches you doing these acts? Would they be wrong? Probably. You know it's wrong to do it, but you still do it.
Anyway, I am deviating from the topic. I wanted to say that I don't consider myself a caring person to be helping everyone I come across, but I'm also not a person who would hurt another person just for my enjoyment. The only reason I helped Inogashira is that he reminded me of someone.
Also, it's not like it's something really annoying either. If someone asks me for help with something that I would not negatively affect and that is in my capacity to do so then I have no problem, unless the person is an idiot. So I have no problem.
I sighed when we got to the gym, Inogashira and I had had a quiet walk. Fortunately, it was not awkward or tense. I turned to Inogashira knowing what I had to do.
"I'll ask you one more time Inogashira. Are you really ready? Remember what I told you yesterday. The only person who can decide right now is you. So ... What will you do Inogashira? Despite all your nervousness, anxiety, and fear do you still consider yourself determined enough to go ahead with your goal? " I told him seriously
I was really curious about what he would choose. Inogashira will go ahead and stand firm in wanting to join the drama club even though there is a possibility that it is too late and she is rejected or Inogashira would be overwhelmed by all her emotions and could make an excuse like she had been doing for a long time.
My scarlet eyes looked at her carefully and seriously as I quietly waited for her response.
"I ..." Inogashira stopped feeling uncomfortable under my gaze, but after a few moments, she looked me straight in the eye "I can't deny that I'm not quite nervous, but even knowing this ... I am sure. Nakatomi-san "
"Hmm" I nodded satisfied as I looked away from Inogashira to see the building in front of me "Then we better get started. I have no idea where the Drama Club is located, but I'm sure it won't take long to find it if we ask"
"Nakatomi-san" Inogashira caught my attention by making me look at her out of the corner of her eye. She could catch my eye so I continued "I ... II know where the drama club is located so we won't have a problem finding it"
"I see ... then if you can lead the way. Please" I asked politely. She nodded before starting to walk.
I could feel the gaze of other close people, but their gazes were not long on us. I guess they thought we were just in the same club and decided to walk together.
It didn't take us long to get to the drama club. I was really surprised by how big the place was. There was a large stage where you could practice the works that are carried out. There are also plenty of seats where you can sit to watch the stage.
The whole place was pretty neat and clean. Even the large fabric covering the stage was really impressive. I could notice some people standing on the stage while I was chatting, other people were moving from place to place while carrying some costumes. I may also notice that other people were sitting while chatting.
Still, I was curious if they were doing any construction in this place. I mean, it's not like someone from the outside could know when the works would be done, plus no one can get into the school. Unless you have a lot of political power.
So are all the seats so students can come in and see what the drama club people are doing? If so, for what reason are they doing it? The only reason I can think of is to get people interested and joining the drama club.
I understand that the more members the club has. Then they can earn more money. If they make more money, then they can get better equipment and costumes. If so, then my worries about them not accepting Inogashira were unnecessary.
I approached someone so I could ask while Inogashira shyly followed me.
"Hello. Sorry for interrupting you, but can you tell me who the captain of the club is?" you ask them.
"Don't worry" then I nodded in one direction. I looked where he pointed, but it was more specifically the blonde-haired girl. "She's the blonde-haired girl, you can't miss her. She stands out quite a bit in this place."
"Thank you," I told him.
We had to climb the stairs leading up to the stage to get close to them. Once again we approached them and we had to wait for them to finish their conversation. I did not want to interrupt. Besides, I was sure they had noticed our presence.
When they finished talking, the blonde girl walked towards us with a kind smile.
"Hello. Do you have any business with us? Or are you looking for someone?" she asked us.
"Yes. I am Nakatomi Hiroki" then I nodded towards my classmate "This is Inogashira Kokoro. We are both from the 1-D class. The reason we are here is that we wish to speak with the captain of the club. Drama "I explained our situation quickly.
"Oh then let me introduce myself too. I am Mizoguchi Mao from class 2-B and I am currently the captain of the drama club" Mizoguchi introduced "So what did you need?"
I looked to Inogashira for her to talk about our reason for being here at the club. She had to step up and tell him that she was interested in joining the drama club. I could have said it, but then she has to learn to shake off that nervousness that she has. If you never got off your nerves in high school. So in college, it will be more difficult for you.
"I-I know-it might be a bit late, but I still wish I could join the drama club. My hobby is sewing, so-so I like to make costumes," Inogashira explained.
Mizoguchi was silent for a few moments as he looked at Inogashira. "I see. May I know the reason why you didn't apply earlier?"
"I ..." Inogashira stopped before giving me a look.
I smiled reassuringly at her as nods for her to continue.
Inogashira took a deep breath "I was scared" She admitted. "I don't have good acting skills and I also have a hard time speaking in front of other people, but still ... I would like to join the Drama club. I promise I will do my best to learn from you" Inogashira bowed to our senpai.
Mizoguchi smiled at the girl's bravery "I like your sincerity and bravery Inogashira-san. Very good, then join me so that you can formally enter the drama club, you also just said that you were good at making costumes, right?" Senpai asked.
"Yes. I like to make costumes, it's my favorite hobby" Inogashira nodded with a happy smile.
"Perfect" Mizoguchi then turned to see me "Are you here to join as well, Nakatomi-Kohai?" She smiled at me as she looked at me.
"Eh? No. I was just keeping my friend company" I replied with a nervous smile.
"I see. It's a shame, someone as handsome as would help us perfectly in our club" Mizoguchi said while giggling making me move uncomfortably. "Well if you change your mind you can call me" She handed me her contact information.
I took the card with confusion on my face. After that Mizoguchi walked away with a blushing Inogashira behind her.
Did they just flirt with me? I still had a little trouble believing it, but after a few seconds, I shook my head before putting the card in my pocket.
With a sigh, I started to leave the gym so I could head to the bedrooms.
It had been a month and a half since we started the school year. In the previous week, we had also had swimming lessons, but like the first time, I had refused to swim.
Yōsuke also confronted Chabashira-sensei because of the topics they had given us. Chabashira gave the same excuse I read in the light novel. Which was about how the topics had changed and she had forgotten to tell us.
While listening to the conversations of my classmates. One stood out in particular.
"Kushida-san. I want to talk to you. If possible, do you want us to eat lunch together?"
"Lunch? It's strange to be invited by Horikita-san, but sure" Kushida replied, she glanced at me briefly before looking at Horikita again. "Just let me invite someone too"
"What-" Before Horikita could finish her sentence, Kushida approached me giving me a puppy look.
"Nakatomi-kun. Do you want to have lunch with us?" Kushida's smile was funny.
She is enjoying this, right? I could see how all our colleagues had stopped their talks to see what was happening.
I sighed "Is there any reason to invite me, Kushida?" I asked him, I honestly didn't want to be drawn into an unnecessary conversation with Horikita, but I guess Kushida has something planned.
"Horikita-san invited me to lunch. Ayanokōji will probably join us as well" Kushida replied, but the look in her eyes was quite strange "So I was wondering if you want to join us?"
I could feel all the withering looks from the guys in our class. Especially that of Yamauchi and Ike. Not that I care.
Before answering, I looked at Yōsuke to tell him that he will not join them, it seems that my gaze was enough for him to understand.
"Alright, Hiroki-kun. You can eat with us next time. I'm glad I can make more friends" Yōsuke replied.
Hey, what is that supposed to mean? Are you indirectly hinting that I wasn't going to make any more friends other than you and your group of fans?
How cruel you are Yōsuke-san.
"Good. Then I'm in" I replied to Kushida.
After telling him that. Leave the noisy classroom. Ignoring the insults and questions Ike asked me when Kushida walked away from me. I could also notice how Matsushita was looking at me with too much curiosity.
I don't know what Kushida and Horikita talked about, but when they came closer, we could head to lunch. I could feel Horikita's glare.
Raise my hand while greeting "Yo"
Horikita ignored me. Ayanokōji on the other hand.
"Ah, you must be Nakatomi-kun, right?" He asked me
While he nodded in confirmation I told him "If that's me. You're Ayanokōji, right? I've managed to hear about you" I told him.
"Seriously?" Ayanokōji perked up when I recognized him.
"Yes. Although they were never things that would attract attention" I gave him an apologetic smile "But I guess you haven't had your moment to shine yet, huh?"
"I don't think I can get that much attention" Ayanokōji replied. "I don't have any outstanding talents"
"Is that so?" I gave him a funny look. Looking at Ayanokōji's listless expression was a strange thing to see. Even her tone of voice didn't show any emotion "I guess we'll have to wait to find out. Don't you agree?"
Ayanokōji shrugged "Maybe"
With that, the four of us started walking. Kushida took the lead and led us to the popular Pallet cafe. I hadn't come to this place because I really didn't want to spend too many points, but I guess I can have a treat from time to time.
By the way, after several unsuccessful attempts. At last, he could eat with chopsticks. It was all thanks to sensei YouTube-chan. So I didn't have to worry about making a fool of myself in front of other people.
When we arrived Horikita paid for Kushida's drink. Ayanokōji and I had to pay for ours with our private points. Before buying it, Kushida had looked at me to tell me that she was going to pay for my drink since she had invited me to come, but she had also denied it through her eyes.
Sipping the drink with a Kushida smile, he sat down on a seat while Horikita and Ayanokōji sat across from Kushida. Since it was the only available seat, I sat next to Kushida.
"Thank you. What did you have to talk about?" Kushida asked taking the lead in the conversation.
"I'm doing a study group to help Sudō-kun. Can you help us one more time?" Horikita got straight to the point about what she wanted.
"Another study group?" I asked feigning a look of confusion "So that means their first group failed. So that means Ike was right" I replied.
Horikita gave me a look "That's right. Together with Ayanokōji-kun, I tried to create a study group, but no matter how many times I tried, they didn't understand what I was explaining no matter how easy it was to understand for an average student. So this time I have a plan so that I can teach them in a way that they can understand. "
"Ah" I understood his explanation, even if he carries absent-minded insults "Any reason why you want to help them?" I asked, "I don't mean to offend, but I don't think you're the one to do things out of kindness ... So why are you doing this?"
Horikita narrowed her gaze in my direction "You're right. I'm not doing this for Sudō-Kun's sake. I'm doing it for my sake" she replied.
"It's like that. Horikita-san, as always, you act for yourself huh?" Kushida asked.
"Won't you help people who don't act for their friends?" Horikita made a counterattack.
"I think you are free to think however you want. However, I wanted to make sure you weren't lying, so I'm happy that you answered honestly. Ok, I'll help you. After all, we are classmates, right? Ayanokōji-kun" Kushida replied.
"Y-yes. Please help us."
Wait, what?
That guy just stuttered. My look of surprise did not go unnoticed by them, but they did not say anything about it.
"But I want to ask you directly. It's not about your friends, it's not about points, but rather, you want me to help so we can reach A-class, right?" Kushida asked
"Yes," Horikita replied.
"That's amazing ... isn't it impossible? Oh, I'm not trying to call you stupid. But how should I put it? Most of the class has already given up, you know?"
Well, Kushida is right. Most of the classes have given up right now, but their motivation to fight other classes will rise once they see the results we get from the special exams.
"Is it because the difference between our class and class A is too great?"
"Yeah ... honestly, I don't know if we can reach them. I don't even know if we can get more points next month. I feel discouraged."
Horikita hit the table with a click.
"I will definitely do it"
"Ayanokōji-kun, are you also targeting class A?"
"Yes. He is my assistant to get to class A" Before Ayanokōji could say something. Horikita answered Kushida's question.
I rolled my eyes. Assistant Ayanokōji? I wanted to laugh at her but kept my usual lazy expression.
"Hmm, ok. Let me help."
"Of course, that is why we are asking."
"It's not that, I want to join you to get to class A. Not just the study group, I want to help with everything you will do from now on"
"¿E-eh? But..."
"So you don't want me to help you?" Kushida looked at Horikita with wide eyes.
"Good. I will formally ask for your help again if this study group goes well. That was his response."
Although Kushida probably had something on her mind, Horikita decided to let it go for some reason and let her join in. After receiving an affirmative reply from the generally stubborn Horikita, Kushida got up excited.
"Really !? Hooray!"
Not sure if Kushida was really smiling, but I didn't think about it too much and accepted the fact without question.
"Greetings again, Horikita-san! Ayanokōji-kun!"
Kushida extended both arms towards Horikita and Ayanokōji. They were confused for a few moments before accepting Kushida's gesture by shaking her hand.
"I'm sorry to interrupt the union of your cooperation to get to class A, but what does this have to do with me?" I interrupted due to feeling lost with my current situation "I don't see the point of being here" I said sincerely.
"I hadn't planned for you to be here in the first place, but Kushida told me that you were pretty good at math. How true is that?" Horikita asked me.
"I-" Before I could say anything I was interrupted.
"It's true. When Nakatomi-kun joined our study group. We could all easily understand him. Even Okitani-kun could understand him" Kushida answered for me.
"I see. We can certainly use your teachings in the current situation we are in" Horikita commented.
"Wait I have not agreed with anything," I said "I admit that I am good at math, but I never agreed to teach anyone"
"You say you're good at math, but you're backtracking right now. Don't you want to get to class A?" Horikita asked me as she challenged me.
"Admit that you are an academically intelligent person by the marks that you have achieved in the exams I can know it, but only because you say that you will arrive at class A. It does not mean that you will achieve" I commented "The difference in the points that we have in our class on others, it is too wide, you know that, right? It is impossible to reach Class A "
"As I had said before. I will definitely make it to Class A, with my abilities I am sure our class will advance" Horikita replied without hesitation.
"Sure of yourself, right?" I asked him with a mocking smile. "Words are just that. Actions better demonstrate the claims one says, you know? Even if I help you teach Sudō and the others here. It doesn't mean we'll make it to class A."
"Nakatomi-kun. It wouldn't be better if we all cooperated right now. The cohesion of our class is something we must achieve, right?" Kushida interrupted us and looked directly at me giving that puppy look, but I wasn't fazed by that.
"I'm sorry, but I have nothing to gain from this. If Horikita is confident enough to make it to class A. Then I don't see that it is necessary for this situation. Technically they are teaching three people, right? However, we are four at this table therefore there is one person leftover "
"But if we add Okitani it would be four" Kushida commented.
"Okay. Kushida-san" Horikita interrupted her "Actions indeed prove more than words someone says, but words have their own value too, right? If you're not convinced, then let's make a bet" Horikita offered.
"Oh~," my gaze turned to curiosity urging her to continue with what she was saying.
"You say you're good at math, but you can't say it's true with just words either ... So why don't you show that you're capable of doing it. The rules are simple. We'll do one exercise each. It can be on any topic and the first to solve it correctly. Win "
Horikita's bet was simple and easy to understand. Basically, Horikita would do one exercise and I would do another. Forming two exercises to solve. The first person to solve the two exercises correctly would win the bet.
That means if I even finished first, but I'm wrong in the answers and Horikita finished second, but she has both answers correctly. So it means that she would win.
"Very good. I accept, but if I win I want a favor from you" I told him my condition.
"Done, but if I win. I will also get a favor from you and you will help us in the study group" Horikita stated as she gave me her hand to shake.
"Are you sure about this, Horikita?" Ayanokōji who had been silently asked.
"Yes" Horikita said making Ayanokōji sigh.
She was confident enough to make two conditions. Not that I care. He wasn't going to lose to her anyway.
"Done," I said as I took her hand shaking it.
Horikita pulled out a sheet of paper bong that she had in her bag before handing the sheet to me. I took it and put it on the table for support. Horikita also handed me a pencil and said that I had to give it back to her once we finished.
"Alright, then Ayanokōji and I will be the judges" Kushida commented while giving us a curious look as to who would win the bet.
I could even notice that Ayanokōji was watching us carefully.
"Meh"
"I have no problem with that."
We both responded simultaneously.
Once Horikita finished her exercise, she handed it over to me. When I finished my exercise I also handed a page to Horikita (Both pages have the math problem unsolved).
When I look at the math exercise that Horikita had done. I was able to recognize the topic easily because it was a topic that I had learned for a while. Despite the time that had passed. He still remembered easily.
"Alright. Let's get started" Kushida yelled happily.
A Cheshire cat smile crossed my face. I was definitely going to teach Horikita who was superior in math.
The equation made by Horikita: Solve the following equation 2x ^ 2 - 7x + 3 = 0
Nakatomi's equation: A product is made up of four pieces. The probability that the first is defective is 2 in 1,000, that the second is defective is 4%, that the third is defective is 7%, and that the fourth is defective is 1%. Calculate the probability that the product has a defective part.
The difference between the two math problems was too obvious. The theme that Horikita used to do this exercise was taken from quadratic equations. This meant that he made a quadratic equation.
The equation that Horikita made was not something that could be just anybody. If you did not know about these mathematical topics, it is too likely that you will not be able to solve this type of mathematical exercise.
So that must be the confidence Horikita had before. She has been studying subjects for higher years after the mock exam. Horikita realized that in this school you have to have more knowledge because it is very safe that they will put equations that are beyond our academic level again, but Horikita ...
You're underestimating me.
By your expression of surprise when you saw my math problem you have probably noticed. It was a mistake on your part to assume that I could only solve math problems that have raged throughout my journey through school. Probably thinking that I was not a very active student in his academic studies given my appearance, so you had thought that there was no need for me to learn things that exceed the academic level.
Perhaps you have some reason for the deductions that you have taken.
But...
.
.
.
You could never have predicted that my academic level in mathematics is above college level.
I don't blame you for that, you don't know and you will probably never know how I acquired this knowledge in my life. Because the logic of reality will prevent you.
Don't judge a book by its cover next time Horikita. You should also remember that its content comes with too many hidden messages that you could not see with the naked eye. For that reason, you must see your world from different perspectives so that you can understand it better.
Tell me Horikita, what will you do with a college-level math problem of probability? I am very curious to know if you can solve the mathematical problem, or not.
I would first have to solve the equation made by Horikita. I could start with my math problem to be left with only Horikita's equation, but if I finish Horikita's equation first then there was no need to worry about the missing math exercise.
So so you can solve the equation for: 2x ^ 2– 7x + 3 = 0.
I need to use the general formula for quadratic equations: X = (- b∓√ (b ^ 2) -4ac) / 2a.
When solving a quadratic equation, three possible outcomes can occur.
1- There are two values for the variable x that can satisfy the equation.
2- There is only one solution.
3- The solution does not belong to the set of real numbers.
With that knowledge in my head, I began to solve the equation. First I had to identify the values of a, b, and c. Which are easily identifiable. a = 2, b = -7 and c = 3.
Then I only substituted the values to the general formula and now I only needed to solve the problem. Don't take too long to finish the math equation. The solution to the problem was:
X1 = 3 and X2 = 1/2. Therefore, the result is one of the equations. It was accomplished.
When you finish solving the math equation made by Horikita. Quickly do what I had done, it didn't take me long to finish my problem.
The probability that a product has a defective part is 0.014. Bone 14 out of 1,000 pieces.
"I'm done," I said out loud as I put the pencil on the table.
"Really? That was pretty quick!" Kushida exclaimed in surprise.
Horikita frowned as she looked in my direction. She finished a few minutes after I had finished. After Kushida and Ayanokōji saw our results they both started looking for the exercises on the internet-chan. After a few minutes of searching, they announced the results.
"Nakatomi-Kun's two exercises were solved correctly. Horikita could only solve one correctly, plus you took too long on Nakatomi-Kun's problem" Kushida replied.
"Sorry. Horikita, but you just lost" Ayanokōji said.
"Tch ... I guess it can't be helped. I have to admit you're better than me at this matter" Horikita sighed.
"Then you owe me a favor, Horikita" I reminded him. "Well it was fun to be with you and I appreciate your invitation, but ..." I looked over to where Ike, Yamauchi, and Sudō were waiting for them to join us. The three of them looked to where I was observing and I didn't have to say another word for them to understand what I was trying to say.
With that I got up so I could leave, but before it was time to leave the Pallet cafe. Kushida stopped me.
"Are you sure you won't join the study group, Nakatomi-kun? We'd really appreciate it if you could help us" Kushida asked.
"As much as I would like to help you. I don't think Ike, Yamauchi, and Sudō appreciate it" I said in a low voice so that our conversation would not be overheard by anyone "You have to remember that most guys like Hirata. You know The reason is very good, I don't think the three idiots appreciate someone like me. Who is surrounded by girls, due to Hirata's popularity? Whoever teaches them. "
"I can convince them to join. They won't protest once they know that your way of teaching can be understood better than anyone in our class I know" Kushida insisted.
I shook my head "You will have a better chance of them accepting if I don't join their study group. Also, even without my help, I think they can get Ike, Yamauchi, and Sudō to pass. There are still 2 weeks for them to pass. learn"
Kushida didn't say anything, but she was faking a sad expression. I guess there are priorities when there are people around you. With that, I left the Cafe Pallet without turning back.
Since I had nothing to do, I went directly to the classroom. As there was plenty of time to start classes, I put on the headphones that I bought while playing some music. Then I got into a fairly comfortable position in my seat to rest for a bit.
I never found out when I entered the realm of dreams.
"_ Stay down!"
"Do not leave Me"
"I w*** n** leave *** a***n!, _. ** stay d**n okay! and ¡No c*** *ut!"
My eyes snapped open as I listened to the sound of the bell signaling the end of lunchtime. Suddenly my stomach lurched as I felt a nauseating urge to throw up my lunch.
"Nakatomi-kun?" A nearby voice called out to me with concern. It was Matsushita.
I felt a liquid rise up my throat. My body demanded that I vomit the contents stored in my stomach, but I forced it at the last moment before swallowing it with a distinct disgust on my face.
I couldn't respond to the new voice that was calling me. I could feel my hands were shaking, that's why I formed them into fists. I tightly closed my eyes because of the burning I felt in them and I began to breathe several times to stabilize my breathing.
What happened to me?
What were those distorted images? Who was that person? I had no idea, but never mind thinking too much will only bring me a headache. The only thing I can think of right now is that it was just a dream.
One that felt quite real and personal.
I tried to remember if I had a similar memory about what I just dreamed of, but I couldn't recall any event like that in my life. Once I was calm again I opened my eyes. I could feel the worried stares from Matsushita, Yōsuke, and surprisingly from Karuizawa.
Fuck I wanted to tell them it was okay to take their worry away, but I felt my throat was too dry. I tried to generate saliva with my salivary glands, unfortunately, I could not generate saliva and what is worse I could still taste disgusting vomit taste on my tongue.
At least they did not question me about my sudden condition, because the teacher was teaching. So at least it was a good thing. Another good thing was that all the other people in front were focused on the class. Those who were behind me were of no concern since he could not see me fully.
Anyway, stop thinking about it. No matter when I thought about what just happened to me, I could never conclude because I didn't have many clues about what had happened. All he could do were theories or hypotheses.
The rest of the day goes too slow for my liking. After school was over, I wasted no time leaving the school complex before heading to the dormitories. Nobody stopped me that was good, because you didn't feel like talking to anyone.
I did not even know what had happened so I would not know how to answer something about which I do not know why it happened. Anyway, it didn't take long to get to my room before I opened the door with my key card, then quickly remove my shoes before closing the door to my room.
When I enter my room I take off my jacket along with my tie before hanging it up. Then I went straight to the bathroom and turned on the faucet in the sink. Join my hands to collect the water. The water was quite warm. Then drink the water before rinsing my mouth and spit it out.
I repeated it twice to get rid of all the bad taste in my mouth. I then grabbed my toothbrush and put toothpaste on it before washing my mouth. After I finished brushing my teeth I undressed so I could take a quick shower.
When I finished I put on a casual outfit just in case it made me want to buy something later. I left my bathroom before walking over to the table so I could grab the control for the air conditioning and then turn it on.
After that, I lay down on the bed before pulling out my cell phone and starting to play Mario Paper: The Thousand-year door again. Let's see if I can finish the tournament that takes place in this floating city.
It was 7:35 PM before a notification dropped me on the phone.

[I'll go to your room right now] Kikyō Kushida.
[Are you sure? Not that it bothers me. But remember that if someone sees you it could cause a misunderstanding, In addition to the fact that there is a short time until the girls are not allowed to be in the boys' room]
[Since when do you care what others think?] Kikyō Kushida.
She wasn't wrong, but she wasn't asking about my reputation, but hers.
[I won't let anyone discover me] Kikyō Kushida.
I shrugged before starting to type a reply.
[If you say it]
While waiting for another response from Kushida, I heard the doorbell ring. The bed was too comfortable to want to get up, but with the greatest willpower I've ever had in my life, I forced my body off the bed before putting my feet on the floor.
Get to the door before opening it.
"Kushida, come in" I stepped aside so that she could take off her shoes to get in "You can use the bed if you want. I'll sit on the-"
Before I could finish my sentence, Kushida bumped into me. Leaning her head against my chest. That action took me by surprise, but it confused me much more
"Kushida?" I asked cautiously in my voice.
"I'm sorry. Right now I feel like shit after today, it was really exhausting ..." Kushida explained.
"I see"
I could understand what Kushida was feeling right now. There are just those days that are absolute shit and you just want to rest or blow off steam.
We were in the same position for a while without saying anything to each other while enjoying ourselves. The only thing we could hear was the sound of crickets.
"You really look too exhausted"
I broke the silence as I pulled away from her so I could close the door. I don't want anyone to find out that Kushida was in my room.
"Yes ..." Kushida replied as she sat on my bed. "Sit by my side"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. So hurry up"
Without saying anything else, I complied with her request by sitting next to her on the bed.
"It's so frustrating and annoying Nakatomi-kun ..." Kushida started "After you left Cafe Pallet When we were trying to get the three morons to join the study group I created Horikita-san's bitch"
Kushida's face was flushed with anger as she remembered. She was telling me the story. It was right after I had left the Pallet cafe.
"The only reason they agreed to join the study group. It was because that bastard Ayanokōji-kun offered a date with me as a reward to the person who got the best grade. They're so disgusting! They're really so disgusting! They're always so disgusting! trying to ogle me, always trying to get closer to me-! " Kushida cursed heartily.
"Ike and Yamauchi are so damn obvious about what they want. They should die! I hate the damn delinquent Sudō, that damn ape gets out of control every time he gets offended. Worst of all is that brainless athletic person!" Kushida's fists were clenched as she uncorked.
I didn't say anything to stop her but raised my hands so she could slap my palms. Getting Kushida to vent was much better than having to keep everything inside. She understood and did not hold back from the blows he gave.
Thud.
"I don't want to go on a damn date, with those filthy beasts that should be dead! All because of the damn dingy simple guy! Damn it!"
Thud
"Horikita's fucking bitch should die! She only treats me to lunch when it suits her! I hate her!"
Thud.
"I hate her, I hate her! I tried to become friends with her for a month! A fucking month! But the damn bitch ignored me and rejected me constantly, but since the bitch she finds no alternative to make the three assholes that You should die to. Join her party, so she invites me to lunch. Does she think I'm an idiot? She thinks she can use my help when it suits her! And I can't say anything about it because I'm not sure if the bitch knows about me! "
Heck miss
Anyway, even if Kushida hit hard enough I didn't wince. It didn't really hurt, but it did sting, my nerves were still sending signals to my brain from the sudden touch.
Kushida kept counting everything she had been saving the last few days. Her hidden thoughts about others, Her teasing at others for the way they acted, the other disgusting boys that Kushida wishes didn't exist or suddenly die, the bitches that he thinks are cute when they aren't and all the blasphemies and curses accompanied with some secrets. I listened to them all without interrupting at any time and all while hitting me with blind fury on the palms of my hands.
With all the curses and blasphemies that Kushida threw. It gave me the damn feeling that I was summoned to the damn Chuki. Although it was also a bit funny all the insults that she did towards others. But I didn't show it on my face.
After Kushida finished, she gasped slightly for air, lowered her head so she could lean on my shoulder.
I wanted to scratch my palms for the itchiness from the bumps but discarded it.
"Just for this moment, let me lean on you, but don't get any wrong ideas, Nakatomi-kun. You should be grateful to see me like this. That's what guys like to see, right?" Kushida commented.
I shrugged. "To be honest, Kushida. I have no fucking idea. As I told you I grew up in a different habitation from the others, remember?" I answered him with a lie.
"Orphan huh" Kushida gasped for air.
"Yeah. So I didn't really make many friends. Anyway, back then I didn't give a shit what people said about me. So why stop now?" I said "That's why I don't hang out with the other guys. Most of them are fucking morons and worst of all they are disgusting perverts who only think with the little shit they have underneath" I shook my head in amusement.
Suddenly I heard a laugh. At first, I thought it was coming from outside or that someone had put a sound from their phone, but after listening correctly I could tell it was coming from Kushida.
No way! I didn't even tell a joke. I thought incredulously.
After a few moments. Kushida stopped laughing. Then she created a space between us.
"I've never heard you talk like that, Nakatomi-kun ... Pfff ... That's why I'm a bit surprised, you know? You always talk politely to most people. So this is something new" Kushida said.
"I guess you can always learn something new in life" I shrugged without giving it much thought "Anyway, you feel better, right?"
"I certainly feel much lighter. It's better when someone listens to you and you don't have to worry about the consequences" Kushida looked at my palms which took a reddish hue "It's also much better when you have something to hit and don't complain or even unmoved by every hit "
"Don't worry about it. Actually, you didn't do any serious damage ... Although I admit it itches a bit" I said sincerely as I ran my nails over the palms of my hands to scratch my skin without hurting myself.
Kushida stood up so she could head towards the only door that you can use to exit this room. As Kushida put her shoes back on she turned to look at me.
"It's getting late, so it would be better to leave as soon as possible" She replied "By the way. Don't expect this to be the only time I enter your room. Just teaching the damn perverts makes me want to rip the hair out of my head. So I hope you are prepared for next time. "
With no other word to say, Kushida left my room. Once the silence took over the place, I sighed before laying down on my bed again.
"Damn it! What the hell does Kushida eat to hit pretty hard" I exclaimed in a low voice as I started scratching my palms again.
I think I should find something else for her to hit. Because if not she is going to get used to hitting my palms like a punching bag.
