Hey guys! Ive decided that I'm going to turn this story into something that can be published. Therefore that means taking out the Ouran side of things and inserting my own. What do you think? Thoughts or suggestion?
Special thanks to: DeadLeeDean, gabigatinhacastrosoousa and 666devlgirl666 welcome to the family! I hope you all really like this!
..
"A cat monster." Honey says with zero emotion.
"Could not agree more."
Niko was in hysterics. Was on the ground in a ball crying with laughter. "You should," She struggled to breathe, "You should see your face right now!"
The redhaired boy balled his hands into a fist, visibly fighting the urge to stop himself from hitting her.
Do those two have a history?
"That didn't work," Tamaki thought out loud, "I don't know what went wrong. Renge said that kitty ears were all the range. She said they would be the perfect lovely item. What could have happened?"
Kyoya sighed, "Be realistic. Putting kitty ears on him isn't going to affect how people perceive him. He still looks mean."
"No kidding. That was pretty lame boss."
"You might as well go all the way and make him a kitty maid."
"The twins turn to the boy with the maid outfit in hand. The look in their eye was evil."
Ritsu growled, "Are you guys making fun of me?"
The twins and Niko attacked, forcefully helping him into his new outfit. My mouth hung open, looking at what they've done to him. They really managed to get him in to a maid outfit...with cat ears.
Niko jumped back to the floor laughing even harder now, "You look even worse!" The girl looked like she was struggling to breathe.
My lips were pushed together in order not to laugh out loud. The poor guy, "You look...great?" I try to comfort the visibly angry red head.
"Sorry to bother you," A new voice filled my ears, so I looked over my shoulder at them. It was a guy who walked through, "But is the young lord Kasanoda in here?" He stops with wide eyes, looking in panic at the angry boy, "So... here you are. Sir it's no big deal! You can do whatever you want in your spare time!"
He launched himself across the room, grabbing hold of the guy by the collar, "What?! Do you think this is a hobby of mine?!"
"RITSU!" I shout in terror, watching as the poor who was trying not to cower.
He looked at me with almost a little bit of pain in his eyes, before grabbing the ears and ripping them off his head. With another move, he grabbed out a blade and cut himself free from the maid outfit and he ran out of the room.
"No!" I shouted, glaring back at the host before putting my foot down to run after him, "Ritsu come back!"
It was hard to close any distance between us. The boy as at a full sprint, and I know what it's like, especially when you're upset about something. I mean whenever I'm upset about something, I lose control of my magic.
"Ritsu!" My call fell on deaf ears as he kept going until we got to the garden. Then he was gone. "Are you kidding me?" I groan, and begin to look around, trying to find the boy.
"RISTU!" Carried over the garden easily, and I felt a call back. The garden spoke to me, with a flower blooming every few feet, leading me to where he was.
I rounded a few corners, and my eyes fell upon him. He was crouched down over a box, but he was no longer angry. His eyes were soft, and he had a small smile on his face.
"Ritsu?" I caught his attention, and he looked a little startled, before noticing my calm expression and matching it, "What cha got there?"
He stood, walking towards me with the open box, "It's a bird I rescued. He can't really fly yet, so I'm nursing him back to health."
I motioned for him to come and join me outside the maze on the steps.
The boy frowned momentarily, "Why did I do that?" He scolds himself, and I place my hand on his shoulder.
"It's ok to be angry. I've done worse when I was mad."
..
I march with heavy steps to where the twins were standing and give him a good shove in the chest. "What was that for?" He questions catching himself on the pillar behind him.
"You know bloody well what you did." I push him back again into the pillar, my hands with a death grip on his collar, I could see the fear in his eyes. He knows what happens next isn't going to be good for him. "You stole my necklace and you fucking sold it!" This time I gave him a punch in the stomach, then a quick second, and he hunches over in pain. Tears well up in my eyes, as I think of some dumb, blond slut walking around with my necklace on, probably treating it horribly, as they think that it's worth nothing.
"Yeah so?" Hikaru wheezes, "You said it was worthless." He tries to reason, and I gave him a punch square in the jaw, causing him to fall to the ground in pain.
"Worthless to you!" I shout before quietly whispering the next part, "But not to me." Rage filled me once again as I realised how much I need that necklace. It was my one lot of hope left in the world, the one thing that I held onto in terms of family. I wind up for another kick, but someone pulls me away making me kick the air instead.
"Stop." Mori says quickly recoiling his hand away from me.
"Hikaru! Hikaru!" Kaoru shouts tending to his brother. He glanced at me with anger and fear. Hikaru had a trail of blood running from his nose and down his chin and dropping onto the floor.
...
Kaoru's screams still haunt me to this day. Hearing him scream out for his brother. I shouldn't have done that, and the regret drives me insane. Especially after he worked so hard to get it back.
"I heard about that." He motions to my hand around my necklace, "You beat the crap out of him.
"He kinda deserved it at the time. But he did get it back for me and now I just feel awful."
Ritsu looked down at the ground, sighing, "I'm glad that you're happy to have it back."
I look at him, tilting my head, "You keep saying that." I giggle, giving him a light nudge, "But I am too. It means a lot to me."
"I know. I-."
"Is that a sparrow?" Ritsu and I jump in surprise, at the brunette girl standing above us.
Ritsu blinked, "Oh Haruhi," He looked a little bit startled, "What are you doing here?"
"I came out to see if you're alright," She smiled, sitting down on his left side.
I raised my eyes at another person here, "And what are you doing here?"
"Wow kid," Niko flicked her hair off her shoulder, "Don't enjoy my company?"
I rolled my eyes, "More cautious about it than anything."
"You've got your cautions, I've got mine." She grabbed out the knife from in her boot, and began twirling it in her fingers, menacingly.
I sighed and rolled my eyes, "Really, the knife again? What did I say about that last time?"
Niko rolled her eyes at my statement, "What did I say last time?" She mimicked in a whiney voice, before sharply flicking her gaze to the left and throwing her knife.
"Look out!"
Red splattered on myself and Haruhi, and I panicked. Blood...no... it's paint?
The clatter of tin on the ground confirmed my suspicion.
"It flew away..." I heard Haruhi gasp, with a sad smile on her face. I looked back at her, before looking at the little sparrow fly away.
"Yeah..." The red-haired boy caught my attention, "He flew away."
"HARUHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" The blonde shrieked looking at the girl with his hands clutched over his ears, "What happened?! That's not blood, is it?!"
The girl with short hair rolled her eyes, "Would you calm down? It's just some paint." She stood up and began to watch the paint drip off the sleeve.
Ritsu turned to Haruhi, concern on his face, "Hey, are you alright Fujioka?"
The girl gave a slight nod before scuffling and struggling caught our attention. My glance fell on Mori, who was holding two rather...odd looking guys. He had one around the neck and the other had his arms twisted behind him.
"Let go of me you bastard!"t was in this moment that I suddenly realised how strong Mori actually was. He was able to hold them in place with such ease. It was incredible that he wasn't going to break, no matter how hard they struggled.
The other growled, "Damn it your behemoth! You're playing dirty Kasanoda! First you go and kidnap our gang boss' kid, and then you make us deal with your damn muscle bound lackies? We know you kidnapped the kid. Just give him back now."
I turned to Ritsu, and he looked just as confused as we were, "Don't you dare accuse him of something like that!" I shout, marching up to the two. "Do you even know him?"
The twins appeared on either side of me, a glare on both their faces. "We've heard enough out of you! We'll shut you up!" The two sprang into action, tying them around and around their torso with rope they got from who knows where.
Ritsu voiced his own thoughts, "What the hell is going on here?"
Hugging Usa-chan, Honey gazed at the red head, "Don't you get it? See Takashi wasn't on anyone's bad side, these guys were after you. Until we caught them, we decided not to say anything to you because we didn't want you to have to mess with them."
"I'm impressed you didn't pick up on it 'Miss Know-It-All'." Niko gave me a light shove on the shoulder.
I felt the temperature of my skin rise, but I sighed and calmed myself down. "Would you stop?"
She rolled her eyes, "I think you know the answer to that one kid."
"I can't believe it," Ritsu stepped forward, "So you helped me, but how come?"
Like the big brother he is, Mori placed his hand on top of Ritsu's head, ruffling it slightly. "We can tell who the bad guys are by looking at them."
I looked at Haruhi and I's matching paint stained clothes, "We need to clean this up."
She nodded, "We should probably go back and change clothes."
As the two of us began to walk off, with Niko seeming to tag along behind us, the twins shout out to us, "Want us to come help you?"
Haruhi gave her response without missing a beat, "Drop dead.
...
I don't have anything to change into, and my magic doesn't really let me teleport things from one place to another. I've done it only a few times moving myself short distances. I guess it's something that I need to practice.
"I think these are yours." Haruhi flings me something from across the room, and I catch it with surprise.
A smile broke out across my face, "Oh my god, my shorts!" I laughed, "I haven't seen these in forever."
Haruhi rolled her eyes, "You left them here a long time ago. I told you to take them home."
I shrugged, "This is the perfect reason why I shouldn't have."
But that leaves the question, what do I do for a shirt?
"You could wear this bullshit." Niko says holding up two spare Ouran shirts and blazers.
I blinked a few times, "Where did you even find them?"
She threw one at me and one at Haruhi, "I've been through every inch of this place."
I glare at her, "Would you stop?"
Niko smirked at me, "I'm sticking by my answer from the last time you asked me that kid." And with that she walked away into another room. No doubt getting ready to steal; something.
I took off my pants and changed into my black sorts and took my top off and began to change. Haruhi only had to change her top, so she was stripping too.
I managed to put on the fancily embroidered shirt and began to start buttoning when someone came through the door.
"Hey, are you guys ok? I'm sorry about..." Ritsu had wide eyes and was staring at Haruhi.
The girl panicked for a moment, pulling her shirt back over her shoulders. "Get out!" I jumped in front of Haruhi, trying to help her cover herself up.
"MY BAD!" Ritsu disappeared out that door, nearly just as quick as he appeared. But that didn't stop Niko.
"I AM GOING TO STAB HIM!" I heard a roar from further into our room before Niko came running. And she was running fast and was highly likely to kill someone.
Rapidly, I button up my shirt, not caring that the buttons probably didn't match up with their holes. "NIKO!"
I manage to put my hands up, with my eyes glowing grey, and rip push her to the side of the room. She didn't hit the wall or anything, and I'm pretty sure she did that on her own. She's strong enough to resist most of my magic. The glare in her eyes was directed at me.
"I will deal with you later..." She growled and burst her way through the door.
My magic tried to grab her one more time, but she only shook it off. I really need to train my magic more.
Outside, Ritsu is screaming, "No! I didn't see! I mean, I kind of glanced and saw both, yeah, but it was all so fast! I didn't! It was just an accident!" His knees were shaking, "I swear to you I'm not a pervert!"
I noticed Honey pop up, a glare plastered on his face, "Of course you would say that. Sure, sign of a guilty conscious."
He started shaking even more, "So, Fujioka is a girl?"
Niko began walking up towards Ritsu, cracking her knuckles, and a malicious smirk on his face. "Oh, so you know...Are you ready to go another round?"
"Stop!" I whispered, lowering my head so that my hair drops in front of my face. Through the breaks in my hair, I noticed that Niko had stopped in her tracks. I had as much focus as I could. Niko is was too strong for me to hold easily.
I hear the twins start taunting, "Red alert! He's onto Haruhi's little secret."
"That's not good."
"So, let's hear it."
"How much of Georgia and Haruhi's maidenly terra incognita did you actually see?"
My head snapped up and I lost concentration, "What!?" I gasp at hearing the question. My magic stopped, and Niko glared at me, and my stomach twisted into a knot.
"Well..." Ritsu, "They were changing so I saw their underwear?" He looked at me and blushed and turned his head down.
I bit my lip, knowing that it did happen. He did see me in my bra, but like it's not that bad? It's a sports bra.
"You guys need to cut this out!"
I was ignored, being drowned out by the twins. "YOU SAW THEM IN THIER UNDERWEAR!?"
In that moment, Hikaru looked directly into my eyes and my heart skipped a beat. That look... Was it jealously? And my stomach twisted even more from his gaze. He quickly glanced down in my chest area, before meeting my eyes again. I followed his look and noticed that my bra was still showing through the blouse.
My heart skipped another beat before Kaoru caught out attention, "So what do we do?"
Hikaru and Kaoru just jumped on Ritsu, with Kaoru holding him and Hikaru holding the bat. "There's only one thing to do. We have to induce amnesia. Hold him!"
In that moment I had grabbed the ed of the bat and tugged it off the twin, "We don't need you two to protect us."
The looks they gave me were ones of shock. It like they couldn't believe that I stopped this from happening.
"That's enough, you two. Leave assault and battery to the professionals."
Niko stepped forward, "Yeah, like me."
q
Ritsu gulped at the sight of Niko. I think we both knew there would be some serious damage in this thing. I stood in front of her. "Haruhi won't like it if you hurt him."
Niko rolled her eyes, placing her fists at her side. I think Haruhi is the only person that Niko will listen to. I think this is something that I can use. It may be the only power I have over Niko.
"What are you? Made of ice? How can you be so calm about this?" Kaoru turns back to Kyoya.
"The boss is so deep in shock he's regressing!" Hikaru said pointing to Tamaki, who was in the corner on the pale as a ghost and smoking.
I turned to him, "This affects me too, and it's literally no big deal. Just listen to me!"
But Kyoya had his notebook at the ready, "Well, now that it appears the proverbial cat is out of the bag, let's talk. Haruhi is compelled to hide the fact that she is a girl due to certain mitigating circumstances. Well, we can't physically force you to cooperate exactly. There is something I would like you to bear in mind.
Coming from the sort of family you do, I'm certain you hear all sorts of juicy little rumours, enough to know what is true and what is not. Take the Otori family's private police force, the Black Onion Squad. It is said that they can be mobilized against our enemies in the blink of eye. You have heard of them, right?"
Everyone stopped talking as the door opened, with Haruhi stepping out fully dressed in the male uniform. "Come on, guys, stop scaring Kasanova." She turns to the boy, "Sorry about all this."
Ritsu looked at Haruhi in awe, "Uh, hey, Fujioka."
"Look, it's all right. It doesn't really matter to me. You can tell whoever you want to."
I noticed a small tint of red cross Ritsu's face. The poor by looked like he was about to start sweating. Is he ok?
"Well well, Bossanova," Hikaru began with a sneaky voice.
"Since you know she is a girl, are you in love?"
Hearing that sentence broke Tamaki. We all watched I'm flop around on the floor, panicking and ghostly white. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. But honestly, could Ritsu fall in love with Haruhi? His ghastly scream put all of us on edge.
Kyoya stepped forward, "I think it's best that you leave for the day Kasanoda." His tone was almost threatening and even I felt scared. Kyoya is scary.
Ritsu nodded and proceeded to shuffle himself out of the room, closing the door behind him.
"Are you ok?" Hikaru pops up behind me, "He didn't um..." He trailed off with a small blush on his face.
"What are you..." Then it hit me, "No of course not! He would never."
He nodded, "Right of course." Hikaru scratches the back of his neck, "Your buttons don't match." He was trying to look down at my shirt.
I felt my stomach knot. "Oh." Was all that managed to pop out of my mouth. I quickly fixed up my buttons, and left my necklace hanging out of my shirt.
Hikaru stared at it, "You're happy that you've got it back?" He asks out of the blue.
A smile crept onto my face. "Why wouldn't I be? It means the world to me that you got it back!"
He looked down, "I guess so. I'm sorry."
I rolled my eyes and smirked at him. "You don't really need to be sorry. You fixed it." I tucked some hair behind my ear.
"We need to get going Georgia!" Haruhi calling out, basically halfway out the door with Niko.
I smile at Hikaru, "I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow!" I wave at him before running off behind them.
...
Third Person
...
Kaoru stepped beside his brother, "You still never told me how you got her necklace back."
Hikaru looked down at the ground, whispering something that Kaoru could hardly hear, "I didn't..."
The younger twin looked at his older brother. "What did you say, Hikaru?"
He bit his lip, not wanting to say it again, but he couldn't lie to his brother like that, "I didn't."
"You didn't?" His brother was confused, trying to catch his twins' eyes. "What do you mean?"
"I didn't get it back!" He shouted, balling his hands and shouting at his brother, with instant regret, "It wasn't me." He said calmly, "I don't know how or who got it. But it was me, but she thinks it was."
Kaoru smiled at his brother, holding his hand, "And you couldn't tell her? Are you going to?"
Hikaru shrugged sadly, "I don't know if I can? She's so happy...and she doesn't hate me." He smiled, looking at the door where she had just left out of. "Her smile is beautiful."
The younger brother sadly smiled at his brother. He was so worried about him. He could tell that he liked Georgia, or at least was attracted to her. Hikaru really did care about her, and it was clearly visible.
"So that leaves one question," Kaoru thought out loud, "Who did get it back?
...
The halls were quiet, and the only thing he could hear was the sound of his footsteps echoing around it. He had one hand in his pocket and his back he holds on his back, draping it over his shoulder.
They walked into one of the most popular rooms at the school, but he knew no one would be there. Not yet anyway, but he only had a small amount of time to actually go through with it.
He put his hand further down into his pocket, making sure it was still there. He could feel the small box in his pocket, and he pulled it out, just trying to find a perfect place to place it.
His brown eyes finally settled down on a table in the middle of the room. His footsteps continued to echo the empty room, finally making it to the table.
A notebook was on the table already, with neatly printed writing covering the page. It was organised well, with dark blue pen for the titles, light blue pen for anything related for it. Bright pink highlighter for what looks like a specific definitions and sticky notes with a star on them for major details.
He could tell it was hers not only from the writing, but the small flowers that she would draw on the margins, or in the small spaces between her writing.
Those patterns matched what was in the small box. The small flower engraved charm on a sturdy silver chain. The small note attached to the box read the owners name, printed on a piece of paper so he couldn't be traced. That's what you had to do in the life he lived.
It hardly made a noise when he placed it next to her book, but his footsteps did as he walked away from it. He reached the door, turning the handle and walking outside.
He managed to catch a glimpse of who he assumed Hikaru Hitachiin, but he wasn't sure if the twin had seen him. He smirked, thinking of what will happen from this.
Was he doing a good thing?
Yes.
Was he going to get the recognition from it?
Probably not.
Did he care?
Not really.
But it was going to make her happy, and her smile is what he needed. She was one of the only people who smiled at him like that, most were too scared to.
He didn't care for her, not in that way. But if she trusted him enough to tell him her story after only just meeting him, he could do this for her. He could tell she likes the afore mentioned twin, but this necklace thing just blew everything out of the water.
Maybe she would help him? Maybe Takashi Morinozuka would too. He just knew that he needed help, and they might be the only people who would be able to help him.
