He knew Enigma's roar from anywhere. Dagur ran out of the healers building and headed to the flat land that they used to land and take off. It was a beautiful sight to see the white and grey Fury Howler land with a tall woman on her back. However he was taken back by the three additional dragons that came with them. One had a very green Jon on its back while the other two had bags. Both humans were dressed in, well, his world clothes.

"Vivian," he shouted. The older woman looked at him. "Quickly. Iris-"

"I know," Vivian snapped. She crawled off of Enigma and ran towards him only to gesture for him to lead on. "Jon can take care of himself take me to my daughter now! I know how to cure her."

"Really?"

"Really. Now get moving before I open that old scar up with my own knife."

Quickly he lead Vivian to the healers building. The healers looked at her in surprise as she ran to Iris' side with a sob. She grabbed Iris' hand, muttering something to her.

"Tell them to get out," Vivian said firmly.

"You heard her," Dagur said. "Out. Now. Don't let anyone in."

"If she knows a cure," the senior healer began.

"GET OUT!"

At Vivian's scream they hurried outside. Dagur had never seen Vivian like this before. There never had been a reason for her to be like this before. He knew that.

She began pulling things out of the bag she carried. They were strange looking even by her world standards. One was a clear sack with fluid that she ordered him to hold. Multiple small shiny thorns sat in a clear covering. Some had strange colors on the end of them.

Silently he watched as Vivian took a jar with strange liquid out of her bag. She used one of the thorns attached to a tube to take the liquid out of the jar only to put it in the clear sack. It darkened the color of the clear fluid in the sack.

Taking another strange looking thing he couldn't begin to describe she stabbed Iris in the arm. Blood began to drip from the thing but Vivian quickly attached the hose that came from the sack to it. She did something that caused the liquid to go down the hose and push the blood away.

"I'll take that now," she said quietly. "Make sure no one comes in here."

"Is she going to be okay?" he asked hoarsely.

"I think so. This is supposed to be the antidote to the poison she was given. It should work but I don't know."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't say that to me," Vivian said firmly. "Tell that to Iris when she wakes up."

"We got married." Vivian looked up at him, smiling slightly. "I messed up asking her though. She got mad at me. But she said yes. We made allies with neighboring tribes, have our own Dragon Riders, I even went to war right after we got married. She's stayed with me through it all." He swallowed hard. "Are you going to try to take her back?"

"Oh honey no," she laughed softly. "No. If anything, you're stuck with us now." He stared at her blankly. "We aren't going back. We're staying here."

Been a long time since I did an IV. Tried to base it off of memory and not Google.
