Off to London, where our heroes make a big entrance. Time to break the illusion and show the world who Mysterio really is!
"Your friends are at the Tower Bridge," Happy told them as they approached London. "He called it the London Bridge, but I figured it out. I'm gonna swoop in and save them."
"Sounds like a plan," Shocket nodded. "And your suits are almost done as well."
"Happy, before you go, if I don't make it back…" Peter took out the necklace he bought in Italy. "Can you give this to MJ for me?"
Happy reluctantly took the necklace. "You'll make it back. Give it to her yourself. You got this."
"Yeah we do," Shocket smiled.
"Now, walk me though this," Happy asked.
"We know it's illusion tech," Peter explained. "All we have to do is get inside of the illusion, then we can take it down, find him, and he's just a guy, so I can take EDITH right back."
Happy nodded. "Right, but last time you got hit by a train."
Shocket shrugged. "True, but I added some of my Guardians tech to this new suit so I can temporarily disrupt the drones in the short-range from myself. It takes a while to recharge after one use, but a small EMP is going to go a long way. Sorry I didn't have any for you, Pete."
"I have… something else," Peter said. "How do I explain this- I have a sixth sense."
"The Peter Tingle," Happy said. "That's what you're talking about, right?"
Shocket snorted. "Seriously? 'The Peter Tingle?'"
"We're not calling it that," Peter sighed.
"I heard it wasn't working," Happy noted.
"It is working- Well, I don't know, but it should," Peter tried to say. "Look, you go save my friends. We got this."
Soon the machines finished making their suits, and the two heroes got into costume, ready for battle. Peter's "Upgraded Suit" as he called it was red and black, with his web shooters integrated into the suit and new functions like taser webs and (at Shocket's suggestion) slots around the wrist to automatically reload web cartridges that had been made smaller thanks to the Half-Worlder's space tech.
As for Shocket, her new "Galactic Armor" suit was primarily a midnight purple with silver and blue accenting, the Guardians of the Galaxy logo displayed prominently on her chest. Her wore a full helmet to give herself better protection, with the face of the helmet being a one-way glass that displayed holographic "eyes" which served her in a similar way to Peter's own mask. Taking a page from her parents, this suit had both rocket boots and subspace compartment on her back to carry her tools and weapons.
"We look badass," Shocket grinned, her mask showing a pleased expression. "No, let's go kick some illusionary butt!"
Climbing onto Peter's back, the two heroes got on the outside of the plane as they approached London. Down below they could see that Mysterio had created the ultimate Elemental, a combination of earth, wind, fire, and water into a maelstrom of chaos.
"You gotta admit, this does look like an Avengers-level threat," Shocket noted. 'Still weird that no one else has shown up yet…"
"Can you hear me over the coms?" Happy asked from inside the plan.
"I can, but it's a bit loud out here," Spider-Man responded.
"I like the new suits," Happy said.
"Thanks," the two teens responded.
"Are you guys sure that thing isn't real?" Happy asked as they approached.
"Yeah, it's just 100 times bigger than I expected," Peter said.
"We need to get high enough so Mysterio doesn't see us coming," Shocket explained. "Then, Peter will take out the drones, I shut down whatever else is standing, and then we bot knock Beck's lights out."
"Copy. Stay sticky," Happy said as he brought the plane higher.
"Hey Happy? After this, we need to have a serious conversation about you and my Aunt!" Peter said as the dived into the storm.
Shocket whooped with glee as they tumbled through the air, Spider-Man activating a parachute to slow their descent as they went into a dive. Activating his web wings, they glided over the Tower Bridge and right into the "storm," breaking through the illusion and landing on one of the drones.
"That was bloody brilliant!" Shocket laughed, hopping onto a different drone and pulling out a gadget. She stabbed the drone, making it glitch out before its lights shined pink. "And I'm into the system, kinda. Spidey, you take out the rest of these drones, while I use this one to beat Beck at his own game!"
Spider-Man shot her a thumb's up. "Right. This is awesome." He started to flip around between the hundreds of drones, leaving a web on each of them as he did so."
"William, I've got drones breaking formation," Mysterio said over his coms, which Shocket could now hear through her hacked drone.
"Maybe they hit a flock of birds or something, you're fine," William responded.
"More accurately, they hit a flying a raccoon," Shocket said, breaking into their communications.
"You!" Mysterio said, anger in his voice.
"Yeah, me, and I'm not alone," Shocket said. She pulled out her new blaster, now powered by Stark Tech, and started to destroy some the drones that Peter hadn't webbed up. "You should have made sure that we actually stayed dead, Beck. Now we're gonna expose you and your crew for the scum that you are!"
"I'm taking manual control," Mysterio said, turning on one of the drones.
"Yeah, I don't think so," Shocket said. She flew over to the drone the villain had activated and hacked that one to, making it so Mysterio could only see an image of Shocket sticking her tongue out at him. "Every drone I hack or Peter destroys makes us one step closer to finding you."
"I'm gonna kill them," Mysterio said.
"Shocket, I hope this works!" Spider-Man called. He activated his taser webs, sending an electric shock through the lines he created, shorting out any of the drones and breaking the illusion apart piece by piece. Landing next to his friend, the teen hero looked over to the Tower Bridge to see Mysterio in the glass walkway above it. "I see you."
The two teens leapt out of the storm and at Mysterio, but one of the drones came and rammed Peter into the bridge below. Shocket dodged her own assailant and sent the two drones she hacked to protect her as they started to descent upon her. "Happy, I'm sending some drones your way," Shocket said as the illusion fully broke. "They'll protect you guys, because I'm sure that Mysterio isn't going to play nice." The ottercoon watched as her drones went and destroyed the two drones that Mysterio had sent to try and destroy the plane.
"Thanks for that," Happy called back, now with Ned, MJ, Flash, and Betty.
"Is that Spider-Man?" Flash asked.
"Flash, this is Shocket," she called. "I went and picked up Spider-Man to deal with this theat."
"That's awesome!" Betty said.
"Yeah, it is," Shocket smirked under her mask. "Now then, my drones can't hold off Mysterio's drones forever, so get on the plane and stay safe!"
Happy looked at the kids and nodded. "Yeah, let's get you out of here."
"Thanks for that," Spider-Man said as he watched the plane take off.
"EDITH, I want that plane out of the sky," Mysterio said. "And kill Spider-Man as well."
"Yeah, good luck with that," Shocket said, flying down to where Spider-Man was and activating her EMP pulse. The drones around them started to glitch out and turn pink, signaling that Shocket was controlling them now. "LINDA, go protect that plane, please."
"You got it, Shocket."
"LINDA?" Spider-Man asked.
"Linear Integrated Nullification and Drone Assimilator," Shocket explained. "Or LINDA. Think the anti-EDITH. That was the only saving grace we got, though, and there's still a lot of drones to take out."
As if on cue, Mysterio sent his full force onto the two heroes, with Spider-Man swinging around the bridge to dodge while Shocket flew around blasting whatever she could. While they knew where Mysterio was now, his drone army wasn't making anything easier, and even with the LINDA program in place, those hacked drones were occupied in keeping Happy and their friends safe.
"Happy, are you all safe up here?" Spider-Man asked.
"Shocket's drones are buying us some time, but it's getting hard to dodge these things," Happy replied.
"Spider-Man?" Flash interrupted. "Hi, big fan, you took my car that one time? I just want to say that-"
"We don't have time for this, Flash!" MJ pulled him back into his seat.
"We're trying to get up there, but these drones have us pinned down," Shocket said. She switched weapons and fired out an electromagnetic grenade, frying some of the drones. "I can only hack them one at a time at the moment."
Peter webbed up a car and pulled it above the bridge before dropping it onto a few drones below. The two heroes zoomed around the bridge, avoiding bullet fire and flamethrowers as they did so. Spider-Man caught a few drones in his webs, and Shocket used some anti-gravity mines to make Mysterio lose control of the drones and easily hack into them.
"I think I'm about, oh, 30 percent into his system?" Shocket said as they dived underneath the bridge. "Once I hit 50 percent, I'll be able to pinpoint where the rest of Mysterio's team is."
"Sounds like a plan," Peter replied. He sent out some more webs to swing off of the drones and bunch them together, before slamming them into the bridge while he did a heroic landing. Suddenly, some more drones flew down and used sonic pulses to send Peter into the water, only for Shocket to come in and pull him back up.
"Now's not the time for a bath," she said as they landed back on the bridge.
Peter nodded, reloading his webs as the drones started to form around Mysterio's location once more. "I think Beck is trying to wait us out until his illusion comes back on," he said.
"Yeah, and we'll be swiss cheese if we go at him directly," Shocket noted. She hummed to herself before gasping in realization. "Peter, have you ever wanted to throw Uncle Thor's hammer?"
"I mean, I rode it once during that battle against Thanos," Spider-Man said.
Shocket tossed him a small device. "Let's bust right through to where Mysterio is, like Thor would!"
"Oh, I get it," Spider-Man nodded.
The two heroes ran from their cover at the drones, with Shocket activating a temporary shield to block the bullets while Spider-Man tossed the device. Once it reached where Mysterio was, it exploded and made a hole right into the walkway. Spider-Man zipped onto the ceiling a delivered a punch to Mysterio's face, cracking his bubble helmet while Shocket kicked him right between the legs.
"That's for calling me a pet!" she shouted.
"You're lies are over, Beck," Spider-Man said as he held the villain aloft.
"Well, this certainly isn't ideal, but I have contingencies," Mysterio said. "EDITH?"
The two heroes were blown back by a drone down the walkway, all the way to the opposite end of the room.
"I'm at 42 percent…" Shocket groaned.
"Just give me the glasses," Spider-Man said as he stood up.
"You want these?" Mysterio asked as he pulled out the EDITH glasses. "Come at get them."
Drones poured into the room, sending out their illusion tech and trapping the two heroes in darkness.
"Just like back in Berlin," Shocket said. "And LINDA is still recharging."
"We don't have to rely on our technology to get through this," Peter said. He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply. "Come on, Peter Tingle."
Shocket trusted Peter and closed her own eyes, letting her otter/raccoon instincts guide her. The two heroes rushed down the hallway, dodging the drones that came their way and destroying the ones that got too close. Shocket was able to use her small size to get past the drones quicker, while Peter made sure to destroy those left behind as the illusion broke down around them.
"Why aren't these drones firing?" Mysterio asked EDITH.
"You're in the strike zone. The chance of getting hit is-"
"100 percent!" Shocket said, pulling out her cannon and firing a repulsor blast at Mysterio. The villain went flying hitting the door behind him and slumping onto the ground, stunned but not unconscious. "Aw yeah! That's a direct hit!"
Mysterio tried to get up, but Spider-Man sent out a web to hold him to the floor. "Beck," Peter said as he pulled of his mask. "You lied to me. And I trusted you."
"I know," Beck said. "That's the most disappointing part. You're a good person, Peter. Such a weakness." He took out the EDITH glasses. "Stark was right. You do deserve them."
The hairs on the back of Peter's neck tingled, and he instinctively reached out and grabbed at the air, a gunshot going off as the window behind him shattered. The Mysterio on the ground faded away, and the real one was helpless as Peter held him in his grip.
"I knew that was too easy," Shocket said, kicking Beck in the leg to get him to ground level before disarming him of his gun and swiping the glasses off of his face.
"You can't trick me anymore," Peter said as he took the glassed from Shocket. "EDITH, turn off the drones," Peter said.
"Biometric Scan confirmed. Welcome back, Peter. Shall I execute all cancellation protocols?"
"Wait, what?" Shocket said. "Peter, I think we just need them to not kill people." She gave a grin. "Plus, there's something else we still need to do."
"EDITH, turn all the drones back into standby mode," Peter said. The two heroes watched as the drones (minus the ones Shocket had hacked) returned back into the sky to the satellite. Peter then turned to Beck, who was lying on the ground. "How could you do all of this?"
"You'll see, Peter," Beck said, trying to sit up. "People, they need to believe. And nowadays… They'll believe anything."
Shocket then punched Beck in the face, knocking him back to the floor and into unconsciousness. "You know, that was really, really satisfying to do to his actual face this time," she nodded.
"EDITH, is this real?" Peter asked.
"All illusions are down, Peter."

Over in his van, William watched as the plan they had all worked on was taken down by two teenage heroes. Removing a USB drive from his laptop, the man exited his vehicle to make a getaway, only for him to be surrounded by both drones and SHIELD agents.
"You know, it really was a great show," Fury said as he stepped through the crowd of agents. "Too bad you decided to waste that talent on a stupid plan."
"And we'll be making sure you, Beck, and all your friends have a nice and cozy stay on the Raft," Shocket said, her voice coming from one of the drones.
William looked on in defeat as the others that were part of the Mysterio plan were also being escorted out by drones and SHIELD agents. He raised his hands in surrender, the USB drive being taken by Maria Hill as he was carted away into a containment vehicle.

Back on the Tower Bridge, Spider-Man put his mask back on as he and Shocket swung over to where Happy landed the plane, with MJ being the first one to come out and hug Spider-Man.
"Hey, can I get an interview with you two for my vlog?" Flash asked.
"Kid, give the heroes some space," Happy said. "Hey Spider-Man, I got medical supplies in the jet. You two get yourselves patched up."
"Here, I'll help you in," MJ said, helping Peter to get into the jet while Happy escorted the rest of the kids away. Ned flashed the two heroes a thumb's up as they entered the plane.
"I'm glad you're all okay," Peter said, taking off his mask as they sat down, Shocket grabbing medical supplies to patch him up.
"Did you get him?" MJ asked.
"He's being processed by SHIELD as we speak," Shocket said. "Oh, I almost forgot. LINDA, cancel your program and set the drones back under EDITH's control."
"Already executed, Shocket."
"Anyway, that sweaty guy with this plane, I think he works for your or something," MJ said. She pulled out the necklace that Peter bought, only for it to be broken into pieces. "He gave me this."
"Oh no," Peter sighed. "MJ, I'm so sorry. I had this plan, this stupid plan, and I wrote it all down, I bought you this and I was going to give you this on the top of Paris and-" MJ cut him off with a quick kiss. "…and you kiss me."
"Yeah," MJ breathed. "I don't have much luck when it comes to getting close to people. So I lied. I wasn't just watching you because I thought you were Spider-Man."
Peter laughed a bit. "That's great."
"Black Dahlia," MJ said, looking at the necklace.
"Like the murderer," the three kids said at the same time, getting a laugh out of all of them.
"Sorry it's broken," Peter appoligised.
"I actually like it better broken," MJ said with a smile.
"I really like you."
"I really like you two."
The two human teenagers then finally shared a real kiss. Shocket rolled her eyes at the display, taking it as a sign to leave and go outside. There she found Happy on the phone with May, along with an approaching Fury and Hill.
"Hey Fury," Shocket called. "Good to see you're not kicking the bucket right now."
"He got my encoded message," Happy explained.
""Appearances can be deceiving." I'm surprised you didn't wink at he camera," Fury said.
"It worked," Happy said.
"Only because we both doubted Beck from the beginning," Shocket pointed out.
"No true, he had zero doubts," Hill said, giving a knowing smirk to Shocket which the ottercoon returned.
"Where's Parker?" Fury asked.
"He's on the plane, with a girl," Happy replied.
"I need to see him," Fury said in a serious tone.
"He'll call you," Shocket said in a flippant voice.
"Well he better," Fury said to Happy. "Or it'll be on your ass. And Don't even think about ghosting me."
Author's Note
Mysterio is defeated, and Peter and MJ shared their first kiss!
Shocket's Galactic Armor is a combination of two things. It's main design inspiration comes from Rocket's Galactic outfit from the defunct mobile game "Avengers Academy" with Shocket's color scheme applied to it, while her mask with the emotive lenses is inspired by Star-Lord's new holographic mask in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy video game. The LINDA program is also named after Shocket's partner in the comics as well.
Now, the big changes to this final battle. The main ones are that Shocket prevents the plane from getting blown up, as well as Mysterio not being shot and "dying" like he did in the movie (although I still have doubts of if he actually died). Instead with the power of hacking Shocket was able to commandeer some of these drones and use them to defend Peter's friends and get a few good hits on Mysterio as well. Plus with his whole gang being rounded up, Spider-Man isn't going to have to worry about his identity being leaked out, meaning that the events of "Spider-Man: No Way Home" will be going super differently in this time line.
(And before you ask, no, I don't have any plans for doing that story. This story has just be an epilogue to my "Half-Worlders of the Galaxy" story, much like how "Far From Home" was an epilogue to the Infinity Saga).
Next time, we wrap up the story as out two heroes go their separate ways.
