This is the first part of the reader's storyline with V.

Your eyes were closed, nothing seen but the dancing colors on your lids, the reflection of the lights of the room previously seen. A breath fell from between your lips, relaxation causing your shoulders to slump. You never knew how tense you were until the tension slipped away and your body felt more languid than before. You hummed quietly to yourself not moving a muscle away from Taehyung's hands. He'd been playing with your hair for ages now, finding different ways to braid and style it as he fell into a world of his own. It felt lovely to be sitting there as his hands threaded endlessly through your current waves. He'd taken his rings off his fingers in order to properly treat it. How could you even dare to say no?

Your breathing had been light under his gentle touch, sitting as straight as you possibly could even if the feeling of sleepiness began to wrap around you cozily. You wanted to fall forward into your mattress, but you also wanted to keep your hair in your scalp and not startle someone with their digits in your strands. You couldn't help but yawn despite your best efforts, a small noise coming from Taehyung immediately after.

"Tired?" He asked.

If you were to be honest, you were extremely tired. Adjusting to your new life with the boys had been a tad more difficult than you previously thought. Of course you knew you'd be falling under the propaganda of glitz despite training harder than you ever have to earn the spot, but you guessed that no one ever knew the toll it takes until you walk a mile in someone else's shoes. The fact that Taehyung stayed up late on the computer talking with you simultaneously didn't help you much, but you were rather enthralled he took you in so eagerly.

At first it did worry you for someone to want to room with you considering how new you were to everything around, but you quickly learned of Tae's friendly nature. He seemed to avoid any complications and troubles by saying, "hey, she can move in with me!" Unless you counted how Namjoon had to move over with Jungkook to make room. It became another reason to be exhausted.

Moving is never easy no matter how much one thinks it will be. You, on one hand, didn't have much to move in. Namjoon, on the other hand, had quite a bit to move out. Plus you wanted to lend some help to get everyone situated since your arrival started this move in the first place.

"Very tired. I almost fell forward and tore my hair from my head," you teased. With the simple braid in place, you turned around to look at his rectangular smile. You answered with a smile of your own, a small laugh coming to your lips when he tried to pout. "I'm sorry, did you think I'd keep that tight of a grip? Either I let you fall or the hair comes off. If we were on a cliff, I think I know the right choice."

Your expression changed to that of a thinking one, a finger raising to tap your chin quizzically in humoring his statement further. "Either I'm dead with hair or alive without. I could totally rock a no-hair-do." You nudged his shoulder and he playfully nudged back. You didn't expect to get along with him so well, but something about him had quite an attractive feature. Its magnetic field pulled you in and you couldn't exactly break free. It's not like you wanted to.

"What color do you want to dye your hair?" He asked, sitting sweetly as he waited for your answer.

"I haven't even thought about that. I don't know what I would choose. Maybe I can just have someone choose for me." You shrugged your shoulders, inevitably slouching now that exhaustion caught up to you without a grip on your hair. "We try to go with our concepts, but if you don't want to do it that way, that's fine too. They're very understanding about comfort. It's a top priority. Unless you want me to choose?"

He scooted closer, his fingers running back into your strands gradually as if they were an actual part of your hair. "Hmm, it's too tough to choose. I really think you could pull off any color." His hand went to underneath his chin as he gazed at your tresses. You looked at him, your eyes meeting his to really get a hold of what he was thinking. Nothing really came to you, becoming lost in a trance almost. You cleared your throat, breaking him from his as he gave you eye contact. "I don't know about that, but thank you." Blood rushed to your cheeks, the softest tint of rose coming forward as you laughed a bit awkwardly. Maybe the flirting sometimes caught you off guard, but you never wanted it to stop. Something about it made you feel special.

"Could I touch your hair?" You asked, waiting for him to remove his headband. He nodded his head and then took it off. "I think it's fair since you let me play with yours for a bit."

Your hand reached out, albeit nervously, and you smiled at the texture. The softness did surprise you since you saw them dye their hair multiple times over the years. Though, they practiced self care quite a bit and you could appreciate that since you were finally being introduced to really taking care of yourself. You'd been practicing and practicing and training for so long you forgot you were someone who needed to wind down. It's probably why you kept pushing off sleep. It's also probably why Taehyung's hand gripping your wrist startled you. The light hold made your eyes blink softly and he smiled.

"I really think you should take a nap. You look really tired." He released your hand and stood up from your bed. You didn't even protest, slipping underneath your sheets as he left the room and turned off the light. The dimly lit space made you sigh out in relief as your eyes came closed once more, this time without Taehyung's hands in your hair.

Disappointment flooded your veins for some reason.

Waking up to a darker room took you out of your senses for a moment. You didn't dream, but you felt a cloud of tiredness hover over you. Sometimes naps help and sometimes they don't. Although you wanted to go back to sleep into the next day, you looked around the room to the light where Taehyung played a game on his computer. You didn't know what time it was, but it didn't stop you from slowly getting out of bed and stretching out your arms to the ceiling. After you'd done so, you padded gently over to where Taehyung sat and you placed a hand on his shoulder. He didn't jump, expecting you since he heard movement from your side. The room didn't have miles of space, but you didn't mind.

"How was your nap?" He asked without looking up from his screen.

"Good. So good that I want another one." You placed your hand over your mouth as you yawned, eyelids slipping closed once more in an effort to preserve the relieving feeling of resting your eyes. "Might as well be hibernation." You laughed at his joke and slowly sat on his bed cross legged as you took interest in what had been on his computer screen.

You had initially thought he engaged in an online game, but it turned out he'd done something else. Some minimalistic pictures came up and you analyzed them carefully, your eyes adjusting to the bright colors they offered. You heard about Taehyung being into photography, but you didn't know to what extent. It'd been an interesting thing to wake up to. You both went silent just looking at the photographs of people being people, doing everyday things as everyone does. Except, no one ever finds beauty in those things. The reason the photos are always so beautiful is because life's small details are unappreciated. To think these would one day become history others would look back at baffled your mind. At least they'd see there'd been some good in the world. Much needed considering everything else in between. You fell backwards into Taehyung's bed.

It'd been firmer than yours, but that difference remained singular since you found yourself dozing off. You were quickly awakened when he turned off the computer to dive right next to you. You were both surrounded by dark now, your eyes having to acclimate again. You didn't mind it. You were so tired they had no problem going back to as they were.

"What is your muse?" His voice came out like a whisper. The others couldn't hear you two if you both spoke at regular volume, but you found yourself whispering too. "It depends on what I'm creating. If it's music, it's different of course. I think one could have a million muses there since there are so much things to write songs about. You know, from happiness, to sadness, to confusion, and even love. Sometimes you don't even know what you're going to write about or sing about until you find that one muse. I can't really say. I'm sorry if that's vague." You felt your lip coming in between your two rows of teeth. It'd been a loaded answer, but of course, it'd been a loaded question. You leaned into your hand slowly.

"No, no, I think it's clear. I don't know if anyone has just one muse. Maybe they do for a while, maybe even years, but there are so many things in the world. Yet, I like to think about how sometimes people can only have one thing they can create with. I like to think that sometimes they just find something and make art for it whether it's in sadness, happiness, and confusion. Muses are wonderful, aren't they? They give so much power to those willing to do something." He seemed to pause and you could see the way his expression shifted in the dim. He had his thinking face on. "You've become a muse of mine."

You were puzzled by his statement, taken back by his words. A chuckle came from his lips and he reiterated. "What I meant was that you're a new member and from that alone I've become more creative. I want to do more things and see the kinds of things you and I could make together. I'm sorry for this. Don't mean to scare you or anything. It's just exciting working with a new face, a new person, a new mind." He smiled and you smiled back immediately.

"Is there anything you have in mind currently?" You waited and he seemed to be sheepish. He laughed and hid under his pillow. You took it from him, amused by the behavior. "Hey, don't hide from me now."

"Uh, I was thinking we could go out to this spot I know. I haven't taken pictures in a while and I think it'd be cool for all of us to go out and have a day there. I really would like to take some of you if that's okay." Now you wanted to hide behind the pillow since you thought your cheeks would shine brightly through the night. You chuckled nervously and agreed to do it, going back to your bed as he shooed you off his playfully.

As groggy as you were, nervousness welled up in your stomach. Yet you welcomed it and quickly fell back under sleep's spell.
