Bars tend to have a certain theme to them.

You got those bars where parties, bar fights, and games are present nearly all the time.

Bars with a really shady history and even shadier patrons.

Bars with sports design and loud mouth sports fans, trying to act better than others.

Then there's the simplistic designs, meant for no one but for everyone. These are usually your lonely bars.

Men and women who either reached rock bottom, are going to reach rock bottom, or they just don't have anyone else.

Izuku finished cleaning the cup shots and placed it under the serving table.

He originally was going to stay in the police department, but after one case of shit-show, leaving him with the death of his partner and said partner's fiancé. He got the boot, but not before giving his own boot a kick to the guy that started the shit-show.

A week after that, he got a call about his uncle's death and what's inside his will.

He got the bar, a bar that supposedly was used as a meeting place for his clan, but after his father's decision to stay with his mother, he got the boot and became a Midoriya.

His uncle wasn't having any of it and sided with Hiashi, but that only caused another member to loose his title.

"I probably should open that safe, it would answer some of these questions." Izuku muttered, he didn't knew about all of these family drama. He only found out when he read the reason and explanation why his uncle left.

The bar was important to both his uncle and the family he came from, but he was too petty to give the bar back, giving it to Izuku instead, as one final middle finger.

"Heh, always go down the way you want." Izuku muttered.

The door's chimes jingled and here came in a lost soul or at least someone who looks lost.

Rugged black pants, a pretty large coat, and a messy white shirt with shaggy black hair.

Izuku stared at the man, the strangers blue eyes looking dull and empty.

"Mind if I get yah anything?" Izuku asked.

"Any beer would be nice." The man said, loud enough for Izuku to hear.

He nodded and let the stranger sat on the bar stool.

He opened up the fridge and grabbed a beer bottle, "Still cold." Izuku muttered.

He went to the man and gave him the bottle, sitting a few stools away from him.

The man popped open the bottle with his teeth and started drinking.

"That'll be a 200 yen." Izuku remembered.

He didn't really need the money; his last case gave him so much money that he could have bought an island, build a mansion, hire all entertainers he needed, and still have enough to do it all over again.

'Best to just not touch it… there's still are people out there out for my head.' Izuku thought.

The man paused for a bit, digging through his coat pockets and then pants.

He sighed and rubbed his hair, "Sorry, mate, looks like I left my wallet upstairs."

"Is this usually normal?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah, heard the old man here was gone and there was someone knew who took over, guess I forgot since he always gave me a free beer." The man said.

"Huh, old uncle told me he was taking care of someone." Izuku muttered.

The stranger flinched back a bit, tensing up but a small sigh made him relaxed.

"You could say that. I wasn't… wasn't really in the best time of my life when I move into this neighbourhood, and when I got that apartment."

"Something bad happened?" Izuku asked, eyes focused at the man with his senses acting up.

"A lot… a lot of bad things happened, nothing illegal though!" The man replied, shaking one of his hand.

Izuku relaxed and gave the person a nod. "Mind telling me those problem?"

"Why should I? Not to sound rude, but I'm not really comfortable. The old man behind this bar was the only person I felt alright speaking with… and I don't really want to repeat my story again." The man said. His tone cold as ice.

"Well, if it would make it any better, the old man was my uncle… and I'll let you grab as much beer as you like." Izuku proposed.

The guy stared at Izuku, seemingly judging him and his every movement, blue dim eyes staring at green lively eyes, with a sigh, he agreed.

"Fine, you got the same eyes and look old man gave me when I came in here. Although, don't think I agreed because of that. I'm only saying this for the beer."

Izuku laughed softly at the man, sighing and clearing his throat. "Well alright, so what's troubling you before you came in here, pal?"

"As I said, a lot, got a girlfriend there then lost her to my boss, another relationship that became a marriage also failed and ended up the same way as the last one."

"Damn… that's unlucky." Izuku muttered.

"Using unlucky as the only adjective here is the greatest understatement of the century… it was bat shit, shit flinging, demon fucking, catastrophically ending, unlucky." The man took a swig of his beer.

Izuku grabbed another beer in the fridge and slide it over to the man.

"Thanks, where was I… oh yeah, after that shit-fest. I moved to china, I silently divorced and left my wife, left all belongings and only kept the personal one, and no children though so it was pretty easy, still a wreck though."

"Where did you come from before moving to china and how did you even go there in the first place?"

"I served in the military a bit after my college, which was a wreck on itself. I served in the Korean navy and fought against the Mutant Neo-Villains siege of Taiwan. One bloody fight I have to tell you that. They always say it was a great victory for us Asians… finally united against one enemy… but when Taipei got bombed to non-existent… I had my doubts."

"This still isn't explaining a lot." Izuku muttered.

"We'll get there, after a year of fighting I got into a fistfight to save the Prime Minister of China… or the future Prime Minister… I got back to Korea… continued to finish my studies got a girlfriend and things where pretty good to be honest." A small faint smile could be seen on the man, quickly disappearing.

"But, seemingly, God or anyone out there has a hate-boner for me and enjoys my suffering, found out my girl cheated on me. That's fucking three, count it, three fucking times that happened. HOW IN THE FUCK DOES THAT HAPPEN!" He suddenly shouted, smashing the empty beer bottle on the bar table, putting his hand son his scalp as to massage himself.

Izuku stood silent, 'looks like he really liked that person.'

A sigh could be heard from him, "I don't even know why she went for that douche… I tried my best to be with her, tried everything to make her happy, she was happy… but that stupid cool face of hers barely gave any signs… any fucking signs… always dull and rarely smiling, and when she did smile… I always thought I was doing a good job… guess it isn't enough."

"Now, let's take a deep breath here, mate. I don't want my uncle's bar to be destroyed." Izuku said, trying to calm the person down.

The stranger opened up the bottle beside him and drank it all with one swig.

"I'm… sorry… it's just some… bad memories… they always say the good ones aren't always the right ones for you." The man said. Izuku passed another beer to him, the stranger grabbed it and opened it, taking a sip from the unholy bottle.

Izuku also grabbed his own bottle of beer, opening it and drank the bitter liquid.

After a couple of seconds, the man gained his bearing and continued.

"Anyways, I found that she cheated on me from an old friend of mine, I don't know where he is these days, but I hope he's alright. After I broke up with my girlfriend, I continue my studies, keeping to myself and making sure any confrontation didn't happen."

"You didn't let her explain?" Izuku asked.

"Why bother… She did explain in… a fucking video… she didn't do it herself. The guy she was sleeping with did. Guess he wanted her all for himself. I packed my shit and left the apartment. I knew she could pay for it… she was making more money than me in the end."

"So is it because of the money or was it something else that made you mad? Well, instead of being cheated on." Izuku asked.

"No, it wasn't about the money, I didn't know that day, but it was only until I reached my 3rd relationship that I realised why I'm angry to this day." The man then took a sip and finished his beer with another bottle ready for him.

"Then… what was it?" Izuku asked.

"We'll get there, after my studies and living in a depressing apartment for a while. I threw away my phone and decided to get a new one. I wanted a clean slate and so I did. Got a help from that one friend and crashed at his place while I tried to find a job, could have called my dad, but his medical expenses was too much on him."

"Huh, you and your dad are close?"

"Very, after my mom left him, it was me and him, through thick and thin, to the very end. I didn't want to worry him that much so I did my own thing." He sneezed and grabbed his handkerchief to wipe his nose.

"Sorry, I did find a job… accountant at first then I slowly worked my way up to co-manager of the building I was working on."

"Oh, how long did that took?" Izuku asked.

"Two years, I really had no other relationships at that point, and my friend was pretty busy. Then I found her… my second… I met her during an office party. I got pretty drunk and I just sat inside one of the office… thing? The one where it's a small ass cube."

Izuku raised a finger and paused. "I… do not know."

"Cubicle… yeah, office cubicle. I was inside one of those things. Not releasing that I was actually siting inside my regional manager's chair… maybe that's why it was bigger."

"Regional manager, in a cubicle? That's odd."

"Tell me about it, guess she was newly appointed and came in the office earlier than expected. Anyways, she was the strict kind. Two guys got fired simply because they took an extra five minutes during lunch time."

"Sheesh, that's harsh. I got a bad manager, but at least he was lenient to a lot of things." Said Izuku.

"Wish I got a boss like yours, well, I didn't get fired, instead. She was pretty alright, heck, she was even talking to me like a normal person would, not a drill sergeant." He finished his beer and set it aside.

"Anyways, one thing led to another and boom. I was in her bed and was doing it with her like no tomorrow, even got her v-card."

Izuku spit his drink and coughed, "Oh, God, that stings. I actually didn't expect that."

"Yeah, guess not entirely awkward since I also gave her mine… the last relationship was pretty bare in the touching department, only hand holding, hugging, and the rare kissing, I didn't hate it though."

"Lewd."

"Man, shut up, that hand-holding shit sometimes gets too old." The man replied with annoyance.

"Sorry, now, go back to your story." Izuku said, the drink was now making him confident.

"Right, anyways, after that… things went alright, sometimes we would get raunchy and basically do it everywhere, car, bathroom bar, elevator, hotel, parking lot, and the office… where everything pretty much went downhill. Two good years all went downhill after that."

"What happened?" Izuku asked.

"My boss happened, there should be a metaphor here, but I lost it a long time ago."

"Oh, well, sorry to hear that."

A sigh came out of him again, he was practically a professional at doing that.

"No, no. It's alright I expected that to happen, I keep telling her we shouldn't do it and yet, she won't listen. Shit went sideways and next thing i know, she got blackmailed." The stranger revealed. His fist turning red and his knuckles white as snow.

"That's illegal."

"No shit, Sherlock. I didn't realised that till she left her phone unlocked. Scrolled through pictures, messenger, and more. Completely devastated and pulled another disappearances. Not that she cared, when I left. She simply got a promotion and worked closer to the boss… That smug face of his, practically taunting me… I could have done something, but after how happy she looked at those TV speeches, her telling the dreams she wanted, and shit. I didn't have a reason to fix it… I got promoted directly from the boss and I did my work."

"Huh, sounds like Cupid really hates your guts."

"You could say that again."

"Huh, sounds like Cupid really hates your guts." Izuku said again.

"Why aren't you a cheeky little shit."

"Ey, we're the same height." Izuku replied, with a smirk.

The stranger let out a chuckle, wavering Izuku for another drink. Izuku grabbed one and passed it to the stranger.

"Anyways, she did try to talk to me… got an explanation… and even tried to win me back by trying to give 'massages' and 'extra raise'." He emphasised the words.

"Oh, did you accept. Hopefully not."

"Well, stop hoping, because I didn't. Practically avoided her and only left the job when she became the boss."

Izuku was surprised at the news, "How in the world did that happened?"

"Plotting, using her new position to add people in key places, bribing people… you know, the whole Political Drama stuff in fantasy story… only irl."

"Sounds like a load of crap my dude." Izuku said, rightfully skeptic.

"Heh, you could say that. I didn't really get what was happening since I was using a vacation week. Found out from a bunch of my subordinates on what happened. She became boss and tried to put me as her second-in-command. Keyword, tried."

"Why, what happened?"

"Disappearance trick, I didn't want to be part in all of this drama and shit. I got my final pay in that company and GTFO off there. Finally found a job and settled with another girl… I actually thought this one was gonna work."

"Why was that?"

"Well, she was the perfect mix of the two ex I have. She was cool and chill, like the first one, and knows how to be fun, like the second one." The man said. His tone surprisingly softening.

"Heh, sounds like a keeper."

"Said the same thing as well, but Cupid wasn't on my side." He toon a large chug.

"It was pretty peaceful, I was 29 at this point and compared to this relationship to the rest. Nothing exciting happened, just your normal newlyweds."

"Huh, 'just', eh." Izuku said.

The stranger sighed, "Yeah, 'just' newlyweds. When I turned 32 did I realised just what was wrong. I wanted a child and she also did, but after a month of my 32nd birthday. She suddenly stopped talking about children. I tried it out and she just said no, didn't have the long talks or any explanation like she usually does. Just… no."

"Guess your paranoia kicked in."

"Oh, it didn't kick in, it fucking activated and went off like ballistic missile. I dig through my stuff and pictures to find a reason. Didn't find anything except a dead end. Decided to snoop around the workplace and then I found out about the expenses."

"What about the expenses?" Izuku asked, vehemently waiting for the answer.

"Mu wife always travelled a lot, didn't bother me since it was part of her job, but what bothered me was the locations. Fucking Bahamas, Hawaii, Kyoto, HongKing, and Singapore. All under a month and even one from Paris and UK. I knew she was loaded, but not this loaded. I snooped around even more and found out my boss was dealing with the expenses."

"Well, was she part of the main branch?"

"She was, and the travel expenses made a lot of sense. What didn't were the locations. We didn't have any company building in the Bahamas or Paris, so I used my Employee level to look around the private messages passed on by everyone. And guess what I found."

"A shit-ton of boob pics."

"A shit-ton of boob pics, swimwear, and some compromising private shit…" He silently drank his beer and gave a sigh, "all going to my boss… no one was allowed to open the CEO's inbox unless it was the Co or secretary, one was a young and beautiful secretary and the other was my wife… packed my shit and left, got a divorce and threw my phone for the last time. Got a message from the new Chinese prime minister, the guy I saved; and asked if I want to be the head-of-security for his family. I accepted got a Visa and stayed in the country for two years."

"Why did you leave?"

"Because the prime minister left the country with his family in toe. I kept their safety and managed to let them escape. I escaped those traditionalist scumbags and left."

"Woah, so you were present with the Communist uprising?"

"Yup, me and my team were the sole reason the prime-minister escaped and came back to maintain order again, called me again, and tried to hire me."

"Again."

"Yeah, but I didn't want anymore drama and just fucking left for Japan. Came back to Korea to hear my dad's last words, I found out about mom trying to find me but I left since she's part of some weird clan sheez, the same clan that put my dad in the ruin and made her free from prison scot-free."

"Sounds like a bitch."

"She was… so I didn't bother and just packed my bags to Japan… after that… well, nothing much happened… used my retirement money to bribe some officials to give me permanent citizenship and now here I am, with the last remaining bit of fortune I have… which is a lot, but I ain't counting."

"You… bribed officials… for a citizenship?"

"Officials deeps in the pockets of Yakuza gangs… If you want to try and report them. Good luck with the Yakuza."

Izuku rubbed his head as he remembered some memories about them. "Right, right… I don't want to deal with that, well. Looks like that's your whole story. I gotta say, ain't that an adventure."

"More like a biography drama series." The stranger added, drinking the last bit fo beer left, dropping the beer on the table and burping.

"Excuse you." Izuku said.

"Sorry, well, enough about the sad, lonely, and socially self-exiled man. What's you story?"

"My story, well-" Izuku couldn't finish as the alarm clock he had under his table rang.

He grabbed the clock and saw it was 10 PM. 'Fucking curfew.'

"What was that?"

"Sorry, man, looks like it's closing time. Stupid curfew and all."

"Man, that sucks… that curfew is a piece of shit I'll say that much."

"Can't blame them, after the sudden increase in crime after Endavour's retirement. Shit is going sideways."

"Or maybe upside down. Welp, I'm gonna head home now. Seems like you'll be taking care of this place like the old man does… I'll be seeing you next time."

"From the amount of nostalgia that came out of that mouth, loons like I would be seeing you all the time." Izuku replied.

"Lucky you then, you'll be hearing all my problems."

"Heh, sure, I'll stack up on beer next time."

"Thanks." The man got up and left Izuku.

Izuku stretched his arms and threw all the bottles out, nearly no one came by the bar, but that doesn't matter. He grabbed his leather jacket and left the door, closing it and looking it.

'Be seeing you tomorrow, bar.' Izuku thought, walking through the snow as he contemplated what to eat today.

[To be continued]

Just a story with Izuku having a bar and a patron with a wild story.

This would probably not continue... or maybe it would

It's just a story shitpost.

Possible plots here and there, maybe an over-the-top chapter with a character.

Maybe I won't even try posting again.
