Purple hair flowed to her waist. Emerald green eyes pierced the night as she perched on the rooftop, scouting the city. Her slim body crouched like a cat. Her robes rustled lightly in the night breeze. She was searching for something. Or rather some one . She could feel the other person's magic brushing over hers, but she failed repeatedly to pinpoint the exact location. Something was blocking her from doing just that. It had to be strong wards, probably Dverger ones, since no witch or wizard alive could cast such strong wards on their own. She sighed and started to stand up again. Yet another night wasted searching. She shook her head and jumped from the roof, shifting into her animagus form midair and flew off, heading back home to hopefully catch some sleep.

Pandora woke up as the morning sun started to light up her room. Like a drugged zombie she crawled out of bed towards the shower, tumbling over the carpet outside the bathroom. Once inside, she turned on the shower while looking in the ridiculously huge mirror she swore she would toss out one day. Who needed a mirror that had more ornaments than the crown? The sink beneath was large and had plenty of space for her things, in silver white porcelain with golden faucets. The bathroom itself had a large tub in the floor with several faucets around it that either filled the tub with water or bubbles in varied colors and scents. The shower held two showerheads and the whole ceiling was one large rainforest shower, perfect when you wanted to drench yourself without having to move around too much.

She got undressed and stepped into the shower, reveling in the heat that flowed over her. She'd found the best way to wake up after a long night was almost boiling hot water running over her, almost burning away her skin. She eventually washed her hair and stepped out of the shower and put on a robe with drying charms built in, as she put her hair up in a towel for drying later.

Her bedroom was large and airy, with dark red walls and a canopy bed in the middle. Large windows covered one of the walls with velvet curtains blocking out the light. She opened the curtains and the room lit up, showing that it was a grey day with dark clouds on the horizon. She went to her vanity table and removed the towel to dry her hair and manage it. The purple hair was a wet mess on her head but manageable with her drying brush. How she had suffered before getting her hands on the brush, one of the tips from her former head of house at Hogwarts.

She quickly brushed through her hair and went to the walk-in closet. It was big enough to be like a second bedroom filled with shelves and hangers from floor to ceiling. She decided to get a pair of baggy jeans and grey tank top along with a short jacket in black. She grabbed her wand holster and wand on the way out.

The mansion echoed, empty as always, and she hurried downstairs to the dining room. She suddenly stopped, taking in the view of 5 owls sitting on the perch by the window. She recognized 2 of them were from the ICW, but the other 3 were a mystery to her. She walked towards them and removed the scrolls from each owl, handing them all treats at the same time. The three unknown owls took off immediately and the two from the ICW stayed. She shook her head and hit all five letters with revealing spells just in case, since she hadn't been arsed with putting up a proper mail ward on her name and magical signature. Three of the letters were clean, but the other two had tracking charms and a portkey attached to them. She stripped the letters of the charms and key and brought them to the table as she called for one of her house elves. "Ciri" she called and the little house elf popped to her left.
"Mistress calls for Ciri" the little elf said. Pandora looked at the elf and smiled sweetly.
"How are you doing today Ciri?" she asked. Ciri beamed at Pandora.

"Ciri is doing great. The garden is finally finished and all the flowers woke up beautifully". Pandora smiled and nodded.
"That is great news Ciri. Would you mind bringing me a large coffee and something to eat please? I'm starving today". The elf snapped her fingers and the table in front of Pandora was filled with plates of food and a steaming cup of coffee. Pandora clapped her hands and started to fill her plate with fruit, yogurt and honey. She looked towards the elf. "Thank you Ciri, this is wonderful. You may return to what you were doing". The elf popped away and Pandora started munching on her breakfast as she regarded the letters. The two from the ICW seemed urgent since the owls were still on the perch, waiting, so she opened them first and glanced through them. Sighing she summoned a self-inking quill and some parchment. They needed her help to find a few wayward wizards that were wreaking havoc in Britain. She wasn't really up for a manhunt, but being a Hit Witch for the ICW, and a War Mage on top of that, made it almost impossible to deny the request. And it turned out she was their best bet on getting a hold of these wizards since they had eluded every single one of the other Hit Witches or Wizards that had received the request. She got up and attached her response to each owl and they took off through the charmed window.

She got back to her seat and food, looking at the remaining three letters. She shook her head and reached for the one closest to her and opened it. Reading the words that seemed to have been hastily written down, she paled.

Dear Lady Fawnlight.

I doubt you know who I am or even remember me, but I do remember you from school and I am in desperate need of your help. It was brought to me by Minerva McGonagall that you'd be best suited for this, which is why I am reaching out to you.

I can only hope that you'll find it within yourself to help me. I have been hit with a nasty charm that is entrenched in my magic and I can't fight it alone. Minerva assured me that you are an expert in this area, so I surrender myself to your care. Please help me.

You can find me at Hogwarts in Minerva's quarters, where I am hiding from the very person who put this charm on me. He and most of his family are not welcome on the schoolgrounds.

In hope, and in trust,

Regulus Orion Black

House of Black
Earl of Blackmoor

Pandora didn't know what to make of this letter. She did not want to believe at first that a member of the House of Black had reached out to her, but it had to be legit since he was hiding in Hogwarts with the help of Aunt Min. And who was this family that cursed him so badly? Didn't said family know who the Blacks were? The questions were racing through her head as she put the letter down. Something sparked inside her and she instantly knew what it was. The same spark that had made her search for her Wizard for weeks without luck. She hastily read through the other notes, one from Minerva assuring her that the letter and plea for help was very real and the third was a second letter from her letting Pandora know that Minerva was expecting her post haste.

Pandora ran upstairs to her bedroom and grabbed her cloak as she called for Ciri once more.

"Ciri, I have to leave the mansion for a while. I don't know how long I will be gone." she told the elf that had appeared in the doorway.
"Don't worry Mistress, Ciri will keep an eye on the mansion and the other elves. Don't forget to call for us if you need help" Ciri said as she opened the doors for Pandora. Pandora smiled at the elf just as she changed in the doorway to her Animagus form. The small wyvern launched from the doorway and took off towards Hogwarts. Never in a million years did Pandora think she would be summoned as both a healer and spell expert. Not many knew that she held international masteries in Spell craft, Healing, Curse Breaking and Ward breaking, all of them issued by the ICW. She had more masteries than many thought possible.

She arrived at the gates of Hogwarts and just stood there for a few minutes, taking in the scene before her. It looked the same as when she was a student here, learning all about magic. When she finally walked up to the gates, they opened themselves to her, letting her in and welcoming her. The wards of the school washed over her and just as she got inside them, she felt that same spark again but this time only stronger. The pull on her magic was immense and it all but tugged her towards the school. She came to a stop at the front doors of the school and was surprised to see Minerva waiting for her in the doorway.

"The wards told me you were here, Pandora." Minerva said as she welcomed Pandora, who walked up to the woman and hugged her.
"Aunt Min, hello. What is going on here?" she asked as they both started to walk inside. The doors closed behind them and they walked up the stairs towards Minerva's quarters. The paintings on the way there greeted Pandora happily and whispered among themselves. It was not every day that the Founder's Heir was visiting the school and she knew that. She should be visiting more often, but the ICW tended to swamp her with work and manhunts. They reached the painting that was guarding Minerva's quarters and she turned to Pandora.
"I want to warn you that he is in very bad shape. Pomphrey and I have done all we can to heal him while we waited for you, but there was only so much we could do. I have not gotten the whole story out of him yet, he wanted to wait for you to arrive so he would not have to tell us everything twice." Pandora regarded the older woman and inclined her head.
"How is he and how was he brought here? If he is in such a bad shape as the letters hinted, he would not have been able to get here by himself," she asked Minerva. Minerva shook her head sadly and looked up.
"No, he got here with the help of Bill Weasley. One of the two Weasley's that are still able to enter Hogwarts. The rest of the family is banned from the schoolgrounds. He is still here, sitting with Regulus as we speak. He also vouched for you, as he knows you by your codename and reputation through the bank," Minerva said and opened the door to her quarters. They went inside and the sight shocked Pandora. Before her was a badly beaten man lying on the sofa, with thrashed clothes. He seemed to be sleeping, though she could clearly see the healing stasis field around the man. Next to him sat a redheaded man with his face in his hands. He looked devasted and exhausted as he turned towards Minerva and Pandora.
"Bill, this is Pandora and she is here to help heal and try to figure out how to remove the charm on Regulus. Pandora, this is Bill Weasley. He brought Regulus here and wished to stay with the man since they are very close friends." She put a hand on Bill's shoulder as she went to get a chair for Pandora. Pandora regarded Bill closely.

"I know you from the bank. The Dverger speak very highly of you and the work you do there as a cursebreaker and warder." Bill blushed and looked down on his boots for a second, before looking back up at Pandora.
"Thank you, Pandora. I've heard about you as well; your reputation precedes you in any room you enter. The Dverger speak highly of you as well, even if they are using your codename when speaking of you." Bill motioned her to sit down as Minerva placed a chair behind Pandora.
"I have a much closer relationship with the Dverger than most think or are comfortable with, which is why they use my codename when speaking of me since most of the magical people in this country don't want to associate with me and the things, I do for them. They're still trying to figure out how I managed to stop the Dark Lord and save young Harry at the same time, even if i's best that they don't know those things. How is Harry doing by the way? I haven't seen or heard anything in a while." Pandora asked Bill. Bill shook his head and looked at Regulus.
"Last I heard from him, he's doing well and enjoying his work abroad. At that point he was in Japan with Master Hiro Ito, training and studying parselmagic. His work at the World Protectorate is outstanding and he is well known for his work there." Bill smiled and looked back at Pandora. "Me, the twins and Charlie are the only ones he keeps in touch with these days. Especially since the incident with my sister and youngest brother. He refuses to listen to my parents and wants nothing to do iwith them or with Hermione." Pandora looked confused at Bill and Minerva, not knowing what he was talking about.
"Ginny tried to dose him with love potion 2 years ago with the help of Ron and Hermione. A really strong and potent one that her mother had brewed since she has a Mastery in Potions. Harry's ring warned him of the potion he was about to ingest and the fight afterwards resulted in him leaving the country for the Protectorate and with him went Malfoy as well. The boys share a strong and lovely bond, which Ginny sought to destroy with that potion. Neither of the boys speak with half the Weasley's as a result and the half they do speak with have broken off with the family. I am amazed that you missed that whole mess, Pandora," Minerva said as she sat down next to Pandora. Pandora looked down at the floor and rubbed her hands across her face before she looked up with fury flashing in her eyes.

"I wasn't around at that time, the ICW had me searching for a bunch of missing children in Canada. I wasn't allowed any outside contact during that whole thing, which is why I missed this news. I know Harry wrote to me while I was away, but my superiors wrote back to him letting him know I was unavailable for a reply or contact. When I got back, they had lost the letters and I couldn't find Harry anywhere. He must have been behind some really strong wards for me to be unable to find him at all, since I'm renowned for finding people across the world." Bill and Minerva nodded and looked towards Regulus. Pandora turned to Bill. "What can you tell me about his situation?" Bill looked at Pandora and shook his head.
"Not much, if I'm going to be honest. Mostly because of the oath I took before this all happened. But I can say that he is in dire need of help and that he has tried everything, up to and including suicide, without getting rid of this nasty so-called charm. It is so deeply entrenched in his magic that he can barely breathe without permission from the caster." He sighed and looked Pandora in the eyes. "But I can tell you who did this. My youngest brother cast the charm with the help of our mother and Albus. It was not noticeable in the beginning, but as time went on the curse entrenched itself more and more. Eventually Ronald slipped up about it and Regulus was furious to say the least. It did not help that Ronald was abusing the charm, forcing Regulus to cater to all of his whims. As to why he did it, I can't tell. He has not said anything and refused to talk before I had to leave with Regulus." Bill took a deep breath and lowered his head. Pandora was silent, looking at Regulus and wondering why he was attacked like that. She was very familiar with the Blacks due to her mother's side coming from that family and she had grown up with Sirius.

The fact that Arcturus Black hadn't descended on the Weasley family was something of a miracle. That man was vicious and rarely backed down when things got dirty. She opened her mouth to ask just as Bill started talking.
"Arcturus doesn't know about this yet, since he is still out of the country. I haven't reached out yet since I wanted all the facts before telling him. It has happened before that he has jumped head first into a fight without all the facts and the mess afterwards has not been pretty. I don't want that to happen or be the cause of an unjust bloodbath. Neither would Regulus."

Regulus started to move under the stasis field and Pandora got up. He tried to sit up, flailing his arm around him and almost hitting Bill and Minerva. Pandora put her hand on his chest and pushed him back down on the couch. He tried to swing at her, but she stopped him and held his hand tight above his head.
"Calm down Regulus! You may end up hurting someone or rip your wounds open again and then I might not be able to help you." She snapped at him and he immediately calmed down. He pried his eyes open and looked around him, seeing the worried faces of Bill and Minerva.
"Pandora, I can't believe you actually came to help me since I'm basically a stranger to you." he said with a low voice. He looked shocked and exhausted, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. Pandora relaxed her grip on the man slightly when she realized he'd stopped struggling.
"That would be me. I was doubting the letter at the beginning, but having Minerva recommending me and her own letter along with yours made it easier to believe and come here to see for myself. I've heard little about what has happened, only what Bill could tell without breaking his oaths to you, but I need to hear the whole story in order to help you properly." Regulus sighed and tried to sit up more, making Pandora get him another pillow to put behind his back. He relaxed back in the pillows and looked up in the ceiling before opening his mouth.

"It started about 5 years ago, just after you helped Harry end the terror of the Dark Lord and in turn save the young boy from himself. He got suicidal and destructive after Sirius' death, which I understand completely. I was overwrought with grief and sorrow after that event myself, so I didn't notice the charm hitting me in the back. It was very subtle at first and they really didn't play with it too much. If it hadn't been for Bill and our burgeoning bond, and the fight that eventually happened between me and Ron, I probably wouldn't have known about it to this day." Regulus reached out for Bill's hand and laced their fingers together before continuing. "The fight happened because Ron realized that Bill and I were starting to bond and that he was still the same lonely waste of magic. Hermione wasn't giving him the time of day like he expected she would, and I didn't blame her since she is the brightest witch of her age. She suddenly started to take an unnatural interest in the boy and I found that really odd. I figured out that he was dosing her with love potions and accidently overheard him telling his mom that he would bind Hermione to him with a core bond. I warned Hermione and helped her get away from the house and get the help she needed. The Dverger took her in and flushed the potions out of the system, thanks to Bill and his working for them. Ron blew his top when he realized what I had done and started abusing the loyalty charm that was put on me. I was basically turned into his house elf for his own amusement. By that time, the charm was so entrenched in my magic that there was not much I could do without suffering for it in some way. I have seen this kind of charm being used before and the damage it has done if the person under it went against the charm.," Black took a deep breath before continuing, "I managed to find a short time solution that gave me what I needed to get through the week till Bill was home and when he finally came through the door, I was so hurt and destroyed he barely recognized me. He started a war with his parents, Ron, Ginny and Percy before grabbing me and apparating us away. I passed out in the middle of the apparition and when I woke up, I was here with Minerva and Pomphrey doing their best to heal me. Minerva helped me write the letter I sent you, promising she would do what she could to get me the best help there was before I passed out again." He curled up in the sofa while holding onto Bill's hand and went silent. "Luckily for us my brother is not as robust as he like to think he is, which is why Reg has managed this long without suffering too bad. But once I got home and Ron saw me, he went overboard and tried to abuse the charm without knowing it's limits. I knocked his sorry ass out with a bludgeoning charm and apparated us here. I think Hogwarts is helping in keeping the charm suppressed as well," Bill said while looking Pandora in the eyes. She could see the hurt and anger in his eyes as he spoke of his brother. Minerva was just about to ask a question when Bill looked at her. "Don't worry, Professor. I notified Molly about Ron and his concussion once I was inside Hogwarts and protected by the wards here." Minerva sat back and was shaking her head at Bills answer to her unasked question. "At least you did notify your mother eventually. I may have waited a little longer just for the sake of letting young Mr. Weasly suffer."

Pandora stood there, fury boiling inside her and her mind racing. She wanted to hunt these people down and butcher them, but she needed to stay and help Regulus at the same time. The pull on her magic made her stay and figure this out; not only to how to help Regulus, but who's magic it was that was pulling her. Deep in her thoughts, she didn't notice that Minerva had ordered something to eat for all of them and jumped when a hand was placed on her shoulder.
"A sickle for your thought, dear?" Minerva asked with amusement in her voice. Pandora looked at her with confusion. "There is something else troubling you besides the story that Regulus told you, right?" Minerva asked. Pandora looked down at her hands and sighed.
"Yes, Aunt Min. For the past 3 weeks I've felt a pull on my magic and I've tried to figure out what or who it is that's been pulling me. I've lost track of it every time I've seemed to be getting close, and the pull was even stronger when I passed the wards at the gate of the school today."
Minerva smiled at Pandora and looked between the three.
"You can't figure out if it's one of the gentlemen here and why it's pulling you towards them since they are already bonded with each other. Have you considered that it might be both that are pulling on you and that you may be a triad?" Minerva asked gently while pouring some tea for all four of them. All three looked equally confused before Bill cleared his throat.
"I've felt the same pull for a while and it got stronger when you came, Pandora. Regulus has mentioned a similar pull and I dare think that Minerva is right. There has been something missing between the two of us and that emptiness filled up when you walked through the door. But I didn't want to say anything right away, in case that wasn't right or it would make you turn around and leave again."

Pandora leaned back on her chair and played with the idea. It felt right and she didn't feel as empty now that she allowed herself to think about it and take everything in. There hadn't been a triad in Britain in several hundred years. "This might sound highhanded to you, but are you sure about this? I do register unnaturally high on the Myrddin scale, which is something very few know about," she looked at the men in front of her. Bill looked at Regulus and then back at Pandora.
"We're not that far behind you, Pandora. Both of us mask our magical signature and our rating to appear normal. We hold back a lot during casting, even when we cast the simplest charms in everyday life." Pandora looked shocked and turned to Minerva. Minerva smirked at her and sat back. "It is true, child. I have tutored both of them for their masteries in Transfiguration and I had to threaten them to make them show me what they really were capable off. They both hit the lower 2000 on the scale and that was 4 years ago."

Bill laughed and shook his head. "It's true. We were so used to holding back that it took a lot to show our true powers."

Pandora didn't know what to make of this. She picked up a sandwich from the plate and munched on it for a little while before saying something. "Last I bothered trying the Myrddin's Shield I pinged just above 2500. My employer was giddy to say the least with my result and wanted to slap the War Mage title on me so fast he almost self-combusted. There is a reason why I'm the last person the ICW contact when there is something or someone they need to find, since I'm rarely nice about it or gentle. I'm their heaviest hitter on the payroll and it's something I work hard on keeping a secret. Not many can handle a witch of my power or reputation."

Regulus looked up at Pandora and grinned. "I do like my women dangerous and independent." Bill shook his head and laughed a little before looking up at Pandora again with a smile.
