A/N: The idea of Skye and Ruby working together doesn't make any sense, but I thought this was funny.

Skye and Ruby headed down the hallway. In front of them were two muscular guards. Ruby stepped in front of Skye. "Get down. I need a clear shot of them and you're blocking my way."

"I've got this," said Ruby. The two guards advanced on her. She struck a fighting pose.

"Like hell you do," said Skye. She grabbed Ruby by the shoulder and shoved her into the wall. Then Skye held out her hands and a wave of vibrations flew forward. Both guards were sent flying back.

"I could've taken them," said Ruby. She stomped her foot into the ground.

"Sure," said Skye. "But why do that when this is easier?"

"You think you're so special?" said Ruby. "Don't you?"

Skye rolled her eyes. "Fine, I'll let you take on the next group of guards we run into all by yourself. Does that sound fair?"

"Not for the guards." No sooner had Ruby finished talking than did a squadron of guards show up. There must've been ten of them at least.

Skye took a step back. "They're all yours."

"Watch this?" Ruby ran forward and downed a guard with a flying kick. Two guards attacked her, but she blocked them and sent the two reeling backwards with a series of punches. Skye was impressed. Then a guard managed to land a punch on Ruby's stomach. Skye winced. Ruby stumbled backwards. Two guards grabbed Ruby and pinned her against the wall. "Skye, a little help?"

"I thought you could take them all by yourself?" said Skye.

"Very funny," said Ruby. "Now can you use your powers."

"Look, we made a deal," said Skye.

Ruby struggled, but the guards were too strong. One held a baton that sparked. He held it in front of Ruby's face. She was sobbing. "Come on Skye! Please help me!"

"Okay." With one blast, Skye sent the guards flying. Ruby was also caught by the vibrations. She lay on the ground, unconscious. Skye walked over to her and picked her up. "Nighty night."
