Fair warning: a bit of a dark theme!

Help

That's what Lucy wanted to say, but she couldn't. Her air supply was short. The constriction of her lungs grew tighter with every drawn breath. She tried to look at the light, but it was only clouded. Fluffy, puffy clouds obstructed the beautiful, summery light.

Lucy could feel footsteps approaching her but she had no strength to lift her head. Instead, the person lifted her head and forced her to meet her.

She was forced to stare at an unholy smile, brimming with malice and hate for the mark she had in her hand. The clouds moved away now and reflected its light on the pretentious amount of jewelry they wore, so it burned directly towards Lucy.

She tried, with all her might, to wriggle free of their grasp but in the end, she was only a worm in an eagle's mouth. Continuing her rebellion, she shifted her eyes to flare into the blinding light ball that she supposed was their face. It only caused more pain.

In the end, she lost.

The ground broke before her, casting the pair in a dark, vast pocket of darkness. The blinding light, though, still stood its ground miraculously. One squeeze and Lucy felt the pain rush over her like an ocean wave. Heat, then filled her body. Her body convulsed with irrational thinking, anger, and anxiety blinding her sense of justice as she pulled her attacker's arm.

They let out a scream of anguish as Lucy whipped her leg from her stick body and kicked them in the face, finally letting the darkness leave.

She felt herself say something about Nakama or seeing Jellal and Juvia again or Natsu- but her flames won over again, prodding her up. The villain took a step back in fright. Lucy smiled smugly,

"I'm all fired up."

So, how was it? Good? I hope so. I've been wanting to do a fairy tail au oneshot for a little while, and since I do need to get better at battles, might as well write this.

Also, if you all would like more of my au, I could turn this into a one-shot book with all of this.

Hope you all enjoyed it! Stay safe, positive, and have a good day/night! See you next time!
