Izuku hiding behind thhe door: Should we tell him that it was all a prank?

No, let's see where this goes :)

As the nearby land around Shigaraki began to crumble, All Might dashed in at full force, leaving a massive ring behind him as all the heroes unfortunate enough to be standing behind him we knocked over by a sonic boom. Knowing that he'd suffer the same fate as all things around Shigaraki if he touched the ground, he carefully planned the dash so that the second he entered his range, he would leap right at him. His feet leaving the ground, his whole body, carried by his own momentum, charged at Shigaraki like a missile.

"Detroit..."

"SHUT UP!"

Letting out another cry, a wave of decaying rubble flew at All Might, the wind pressure generated from it was enough to send him flying back.

"All Might!" The heroes called out.

"No way... even All Might couldn't get close?" Iida trembled in shock.

"The decay's spreading even further now, hurry All Might!" Ordered Aizawa, leaning on Present Mic due to his broken leg.

"Don't have to tell me twice!" Replied All Might.

"California..."

Focusing the energy of One For All into his legs, All Might blasted forward like a cannon, charging once again at Shigaraki, this time at almost twice the speed. Shigaraki on the other hand, almost as if powered by instinct, let out another pulse of pure destructive energy, sending another wave of decaying rubble at All Might. However, this time, All Might charged right through, nailing Shigaraki with a punch straight to the face.

"That hit connected!" Though All Might.

and yet...

"Kill..."

Shigaraki was unfazed. Grabbing All Might's hand, the hero felt his outer skin decay and, almost by raw instinct, leaped back out of the rapidly expanding range of Shigaraki's decay, which had already reached the staircase.

"Not even my California Smash did anything!?" Said All Might, disturbed.

"No, it definitely affected him." Said Snipe, pointing at the spreading decay, "The decay's slowing down. And look at him, he may not act like it, but his body's showing clear signs of damage after that last attack. We just need to hit him one more time."

Suddenly, Muscular jumped out of nowhere, landing a devastating punch on Snipe, fragmenting the ground as well. All Might, caught of guard, was then hit by an uppercut to the chin, as a thin stream of blood flew out of his mouth.

"Oi All Might! Don't get too wrapped out with that kid! You're fighting me!" Muscular yelled proudly.

"Don't push your luck, villain!"

"YEAAAAHHHH!" A loud booming voice suddenly hit Muscular, staggering him enough to divert his attention.

"All Might, don't mind that villain and go! We'll hold the others off." Said Present Mic.

Looking at the other heroes, all occupied with fending off the villains, All Might nodded his head.

"Very well." He said, then facing the crazed Shigaraki, "You know, there's a little saying among the heroes from America, a little something I brought home, a battlecry, if you will that defines what it means to be a hero!"

His muscles practically doubling in volume, steam gushed out of his body as if he was the engine of an 18th century locomotive, even coughing out blood.

"Go Beyond..."

Rocketing at Shigaraki with all of his might, the ground below him turned into white hot magma from the sheer air friction he produced, the air around him burned up, as he practically became a small meteorite, barreling towards Shigaraki at speeds beyond human comprehension.

"Plus...

As Shigaraki was going berserk, he was unable to properly react to his surroundings. Suddenly, snapping him out of his blind rage was the sharp, excruciating pain delivered by the world's fastest flying knee.

"Ultra!"

Practically coughing out his guts, Shigaraki's body was sent flying, smashing through several light posts, fences and walls on his way out. All Might, standing triumphantly, turned to the rest of the villains.

"Anyone else want some?" He asked in a stern tone.

Seeing that nigh unstoppable monster that suddenly emerged nearly brought down the building getting taken out, many of the villains shuddered, their morale taking a nosedive. Many of them began to run as the heroes started to run in and incapacitate them. From the remaining security cameras, Mightless watched in defeat as his plan slowly went down the drain.

"Kurogiri?" Mightless called, praying that he was still safe.

"Yes, sir?" The mist man swiftly answered.

"How many people can you evacuate?" He asked.

"Aside from Toga, everyone else's been evacuated." Replied Kurogiri, "As the rest of our recruited villains..."

Looking at the scene, the fight has devolved into a one sided mass arrest. The villains who were initially motivated by Muscular and Kurogiri were either killed by Shigaraki's sudden outburst or overwhelmed by the heroes. As the heroes moved in to the different disaster zones, the students began getting rescued one by one.

"It's not looking too good for them." Said Kurogiri.

"What about our Nomu?" Asked Mightless.

"The Nomu's as good as useless, sir." Answered Kurogiri, "Its regeneration can't replace cells in the head region or important organs, only muscle. The things blind and unable to keep fighting. Shall I retrieve it?"

"Yes, do it quickly too, we can't let the heroes know about them." Ordered Mightless, "In the meantime, see if you can get that muscle guy in the red tank top out of there. I don't know where we got him but his strength could prove useful for future operations."

"Roger that." Said Kurogiri.

Back with the heroes, even though most of them have already moved out to rescue the rest of the students, Ectoplasm, Death Arms and Present Mic were held up dealing with Muscular.

"Ahahaha! You pro heroes are really something else aren't ya!?" Muscular laughed out, ripping one of Ectoplasm's clones in half.

Death Arms ran in, delivering a barrage of powerful punches to Muscular, pushing him back a bit. In response, Muscular caught the next upcoming punch, grabbing him by the wrist and lifting him up.

"That hurt..."

He then proceeded to slam him into the pavement.

"about as much as a bee sting!"

"GET OFF OF HIM!" Present Mic yelled out, his soundwaves tearing the paved floor apart as some of Muscular's thinner muscle ligaments began to rip.

"Shut it..."

Muscular ripped a massive chunk of rock out of the ground.

"Ya damn alarm clock!"

Tossing it at Mic with all of his strength, the stone flew at Mic with the speed of a bullet. However, before it can make contact, All Might jumped in, punching it out of the way.

"That's enough from you!" The hero yelled out, punching Muscular in the face before the villain could even give a reaction.

The muscular villain flew several meters back, as Kurogiri saw the opportunity and opened a portal behind him, warping him to safety.

"That leaves only you now, smoke boy." A voice came from behind him.

"So I've been found." Kurogiri said, not looking back, "Midnight, I assume?"

"I recognize you. You were there at the Entrance Exams attack, weren't you? I assume Mightless was behind this one as well?" Asked Midnight.

"That is correct." Replied Kurogiri.

"Come with us quietly then." Said Midnight.

"Kurogiri! What's going on!?" Mightless asked through his earpiece.

"Sorry sir, looks like they've found me." Replied Kurogiri.

"Then warp out of there! Get out while you still can!" Exclaimed Mightless.

"If I do, there's chance they could follow me into our hideout." Replied Kurogiri, "It's too risky."

"Damn it, get out of there, that is an order!"

"What's this you got here?" Asked Midnight, snatching the earpiece out of Kurogiri.

"Kuro? Kuro, do you copy!?" Mightless continued to ask.

However, what came back were the sounds of other people talking, familiar voices.

"Everyone, I believe we have found the mastermind behind this attack." A woman's voice came out.

Looking at the camera feed, Mightless's stomach dropped as he saw Kurogiri being led out of his hiding spot and thrown to his knees in cuffs. The other heroes approached him, interrogating him.

"Is that so? Wait a minute, that's the guy that was present during the Entrance Exam attack! Does that mean that one villain was behind this attack too?" Another voice asked.

"Hello? Hello? Who am I speaking too?" A familiar voice suddenly came clear to him.

Trying his best to compose himself, Izuku activated his voice changer and spoke back.

"Hello there, All Might." Replied a deep and distorted villain's voice.

"I assume I'm speaking to Mightless, am I correct?" Asked All Might.

"Perhaps." Mightless replied vaguely.

"Listen, I don't know what kind of game you're playing Mightless, but rest assured, we will find you and bring you to justice!" All Might threatened immediately.

"I'm looking forward to that." Replied Mightless, "I've been meaning to make you pay for your arrogance. In the meantime, it would be wise if you freed my associate."

"You're in no position to make offers, villain!" Said All Might, "We will get all the information we need out of him and come for you next."

A drop of sweat ran down Izuku head upon hearing that. He was sure that Kurogiri wasn't going to spill anything. However, there are simply too many unknowns as to what advantages the heroes may gain from capturing Kurogiri. Not to mention, he knew at least 6 different heroes with mind reading or forced talking quirks, so even if Kuro didn't tell them, chances were he may get found out anyways. Part of him wanted to call All For One for help, but another part of him wanted to simply tuck tails and run while he still could. Nevertheless, he persevered with the act, not wanting to show any signs of weakness.

"You'll be wasting your time, All Might." Said Mightless, "That man you're holding hostage is one of my most loyal won't talk."

"No need." Replied All Might, "We have the equipments needed to extract the information out of him regardless."

"Sir..."

"Is that so? Well then, I'll be looking forward to your visit." Mightless replied in a sinister tone.

"Sir?"

"I'll look forward to seeing you in bars!" Replied All Might.

"Sir."

"And I look forward to expose you for the fraud that you are!"

"Sir!" Kurogiri called out for the fourth time, finally catching both of their attention, "There's no need for any of that. I'll be back with you in just a moment."

"What are you talking about, villain!?" Exclaimed All Might.

"She's coming..."

Suddenly, the two capture robots that was holding him fell apart, but into pieces, as a familiar figure emerged behind them.

"Crescent!" All Might and Mightless exclaimed at the same time in two opposite tones.

The silent villain then freed Kurogiri from his cuffs, drawing her twin crescent blades.

"Damn it all!" All Might rushed in to try and take them both out. Suddenly, rubble feel between them. The decay damage inflicted by Shigaraki on the building finally became too much to bare, as the whole building began to collapse.

Back with the other heroes, they saw the cracks running across the roof, as they began to hurry and save all of the stranded students.

"Hey! We found two of them here!" A voice called out.

The heroes ran to the Urban disaster zone, finding a badly injured Kirishima, clutching on to Ojiro and Hagakure, who were both unconscious.

"Kirishima's in critical condition, but the two others are fine, we have to get them out as soon as possible." Said the two heroes.

"There's no time! We can't make it to the exit if we grabbed all of them!" Said another hero.

"L-Let me carry one of them..." A weak voice came from behind.

"Miss Thirteen!?" The heroes exclaimed.

"I am a teacher first and hero second. They are my responsibility too!" Said Thirteen.

"Miss Thirteen, please, you're too injured to be moving!" Said the heroes.

"I'm also a hero damn it!" Said Thirteen, grabbing Kirishima's body and throwing him over her shoulder, "Don't underestimate me!"

Back with the rest of the heroes, the sudden collapse of the roof provided both Crescent and Kurogiri with just the opening needed to escape. As the last villains had escaped, all the students, staff and heroes alike scrambled and ran as the entire building came crashing down.

In the end, this event was reported in the news as a victory for the heroes. The recordings of All Might bravely taking down a villain that was about to destroy everything exploded on social media and reinvigorated his public image. Over 40 villains were captured that day and 12 were killed, while 6 heroes and 1 student was badly injured. Furthermore, the media also gave attention to the three brave students Tsuyu Asui, Uraraka Ochaco and Toga Himiko for bravely escaping the clutches of the villains and warning the pro heroes of the attack, potentially saving the lives of dozens of their classmates.

However, it was also noted that U.A's defenses were once again penetrated by the villains, bringing more weariness to the school's reputation. Not only that, but the attack became an inspiration to countless villains across the country. That, combined with the fact that the school had failed to protect one of their students meant that there was no way this incident could be called a full victory for the heroes either. In the end, the conclusion on both sides were that they were the victors.

Back at the hideout, Shigaraki walked up to Toga with rage in his eyes.

"What the hell were you thinking!?" Exclaimed Shigaraki, "Your betrayal botched our entire operation! Even now, looking at you, I just want to rot that pretty face into dust!"

"Speak for yourself, Shiggy! I was protecting those whom I cared about! Not to mention that All Might didn't even show up! I was going to fetch All Might so that we could lure him into our trap but the girls insisted we call all of the heroes instead! If anything, I was trying to help!"

"Well look at where it got us! Great help there miss Toga! Everyone give her a round of applause!" Shigaraki yelled back with a touch of sarcasm.

"And what did you do exactly!? Throw a tantrum and kill 12 of our own, only to be put down by All Might and kill our men's morale!?" Toga yelled back, "And don't think I've forgotten about that Nomu you sicked on us! Face it, your rage and childishness are a bigger threat to this group than even the heroes are!"

Having been scolded for his immaturity by All For One countless times, having it come from someone else hit Shigaraki in a sensitive spot, as he grabbed Toga by the neck, leaving his pinky off so that she doesn't decay.

"Say that again!" Shigaraki hissed, "I didn't quite fucking catch that!"

Toga pulled his knife out, ready to stab him when suddenly everyone else came into the room, separating the two of them.

"Both of you! Cut it out!" Magne exclaimed, pulling them apart with her magnet as Irina held back Shigaraki while Sachi held back Toga.

"Woah! What strength! I can barely hold her back!" Said Sachi, barely able to hold Toga back.

Meanwhile, Irina had no trouble holding Shigaraki back, partly thanks to her enlarging herself with her quirk, as the man thrashed around her arms like a pissed off cat.

"Listen, we had one failed operation, that's all!" Said Dabi, coming in between them, "And I am equally as pissed at both of you, but the past is the past, now move on! Toga, next time, don't let your affection get in the way of the missions, same goes for you Shigaraki, stop making everything about you! We are a team and must act as such!"

"Who died and made you leader!?" Exclaimed Shigaraki.

"I'm not speaking for myself here, these were All For One's opinions on our failed mission, I'm just paraphrasing him!" Replied Dabi, "Now, have we calmed down here? Yes? Good!"

As the two parted ways, Shigaraki took one last glare at Toga.

"By the way, Izuku was the one who sent the Nomu after you." Said Shigaraki.

Toga froze for a moment.

"I actually protested the idea, but he insisted that no one was meant to escape the facility." He continued, "So next time you're making out with him or whatever, remember, he was the one who almost got you and your friends killed."

Before Toga could turn around and call bullshit, Shigaraki had already left.

Side Story: All For One Origins.

The year is #$^%, 15 years into the worldwide civil war that many refer to as the "Dark Age". A desolate and desperate Japan, unable to quell the constant civil unrest, protests and mass rioting between the "Quirked" and the "pristine", which was what people referred quirkless people as back then, had abandonned about 400 square kilometers worth of land within the Yamanashi prefecture, losing it to powerful groups of "Quirked" syndicates. Abandonned by the government, devoid of authority, this chunk of land, walled off by several kilometers of barbed electrified fence became known as the "Backside", Japan's lawless zone.

Within this zone, power was law. If someone tried to kill you, you had to either defend yourself or die, there was no inbetween. Of course, that isn't the case for everyone. When walking down the desolate streets of the Backside, you may see banners or posters or even spray painted graffiti with different designs hanging on the walls. These indicate which group ran this region. However, if two symbols overlay, one would be generally wiser to get as far away as possible, as that would indicate that two gangs are at war for territory. As of then, the number of groups governing the Backside numbered at around 25, the largest of which was the half Chinese Shirogane Household, a family of Triads said to be the direct descendants of Guang Shirogane, the first quirk user.

Somewhere, within the market district controlled by the Katsu (no relations to Bakugo) gang, a young girl could be seen, trembling and shaking, a dirty rag laid out in front of her, begging for scraps of change. However, the passerbys showed little to no sympathy, in fact, some even took it as an insult. One man in particular kicked her to the side, as the girl whimpered in pain.

"Oi kid! What do you think you're doing in the middle of the street! We have enough trash as it is." The man said in a unsympathetic tone.

"P-Please, I-I haven't had anything to eat in days. My parents died and I haven't even been under a roof for days..." The kid begged.

The man clicked his tongue upon hearing this, picking the kid up and slamming her against the wall.

"I didn't ask for a sob story kiddo. This ain't like the big cities where someone would be generous enough to just throw money at sad kittens like you." Said the man, before a blade emerged from his wrist, "Here, when we find a stray cat, we skin them alive, eat their meat for sustenance and wear their fur for warmth."

"You're... a "quirked"..." The kid shuddered in fear.

"Yeah, got a problem with that?" The man asked, pressed the blade against the kid's neck.

Practically trembling in fear, the kid began to desperately thrash about, trying to break free as tears and snot ran down her face.

"Please! Help me! Someone! Anyone! Heeeelp!" She screamed to the top of her lungs.

However, despite them being in a busy street, every simply turned a blind eye.

"You're wasting your breath kiddo." Laughed the man, "No cries for help ever come anwered in the Backside. And besides, even if some sicko were to want you for your body so much so that he'd come to your aid, he wouldn't take a step towards you since I'm here."

Revealing a symbol tattooed to his arm, the kid recognized it, as it matched the posters on the wall.

"I'm from the Katsu gang, get it? If anyone touches me, they'll have 150 quirked men to answer to!" Said the man, his blade digging deeper into the kid's neck.

However, as this was happening, two young lads, the eldest not a year older than 14, looked down at the scene.

"Looks like another cry for help big brother." Said the younger one.

"Yeah, so, how do you want to approach this?" Asked the older one.

"Like how we always do." Replied the little brother.

"Alright then." The older brother smiled.

"Have no fear..."

Upon hearing voices coming from above, the Katsu gang member looked up in confusion.

"For we are here!" The two brother yelled in unison, drop kicking the gang member in the face.

"Gah! My face! You bastards!" The gang member grunted out, a blade coming out of his other hand, "I'll skin you two alive!"

The young girl looked up, the two yound lads only a few years older than her. They stoic figure and strong demeanor shone brighter than gold jewelry she could imagine, like the heaven dropped down two angels to aid her. For a moment, in her awe, her opened her mouth, uttering out words of gratitude.

"My hero..."

"Rgghh! You rats!" The man swung at the younger one. However, the young boy ducked under the blade, as the kid swung his metal pipe, breaking the man's knee.

"Gyyahhh!"

The Katsu member fell to one knee, writhing in pain. Just then, another metal pipe met his face, as the older brother tagged in. As he did this, the younger brother followed up his first strike by breaking his other knee.

"You bastard!" The gang member yelled, stabbing the older brother with one last hail mary.

"Kyah!" The young girl flinched, seeing the blade enter the older brother's shoulder.

"Kyahahahaha! I got you!" Said the gang member.

Just then, he felt immense pressure emanating from the young lad he stabbed, as the boy's left hand firmly grabbed his wrist.

"Ow, that one hurt." He said, before flashing in a haunting smile, "My turn now!"

Suddenly, the gang member felt his blade retract, as he became unable to pull it back out. Just then, he felt a sharp pain as the a similarly shaped blade came out of the boy's wrist, stabbing into his throat.

"M-My powers... what did you do to my powers!?" The man gasped in his dying breath.

"They're my quirks now buddy." The older brother smiled.

"Hey, big bro?" The younger brother asked.

"Yeah?" Asked the older brother, finishing the gang member off.

"We may have a problem on our hands."

Looking back, the two brother found themselves surrounded by over a hundred men, all wearing the same emblem.

"So, this is the infamous Katsu Gang huh?" Asked the older brother, going back to back with his younger bro.

"Seems so." Replied the younger brother.

"There's so many of them." Said the older brother, "I don't think we're making it out alive this time."

"Oh no, we are definitely not, we are screwed." The younger brother replied.

The girl, shaking in fear, thought that the two had lost hope from what she's heard. Yet, despite that, when looking at their face, she found the two of them smiling confidently, more ready than ever.

"Well, if we die today, let's make our end a spectacle!" The younger brother cried out.

"You said it little bro!"

Just like that, the two of them charged at the gang member, yelling their battlecry in unison.

"ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL!"

After a long a arduous battle, the group found themselves sitting back to back, covered in blood and resting on a pile of bodies. As the people around them looked in astonishment, some simply shrugged and kept walking.

"Ah, it's those mad dogs again." Said a bystander.

"Oh? You know them?" Asked another.

"Yeah, the Shigaraki brothers. Those two have become quite infamous in these past few years. I heard they singlehandedly defeated the Kio and Fukuzuku gang."

"Damn, for real?"

"Yeah, trust me when I tell you." The bystander said, "They are the last ones you want to piss off around here, even more so than the Shirogane gang."

"Convinced me."

As the two brothers laughed and yelled triumphantly, the girl looked up upon them in admiration. To the other bystanders, they saw a duo of rabid dogs, deserving to be put down, but to her, all she saw were heroes.

"Hey!" The girl called out by pure instinct, walking up to them, entranced.

"Bro, it's the girl we saved." Said the younger brother.

"Still hasn't run off yet? Is she retarded or something?" Asked the older brother.

"She's kinda cute though." Said the younger brother.

"Oh please little bro, we're heroes, we can't let our boners get in the way of our work." Said the older brother.

"Pppfttt! You said 'boner'" The younger brother laughed.

"Oh grow up, what are you a 12 year old?"

"I am!"

"E-Excuse me?" Asked the girl, cutting them off.

"O-Oh, yes?" The two brothers turned over to the girl.

"W-Who are you two?" Asked the girl.

"Oh, hi there, my name's-" The younger brother began to introduce herself.

"Don't do that!" The older brother cut off, hitting him over the head, "We're heroes, remember, we need to keep our secret identity!"

"Oh right, hey there, I'm "Almighty" and here's my companion, "Victory"."

"Ppfftt! So cheesy!" The girl laughed.

"Hey! I put a lot of thought into that name you bitch!" The older brother yelled out, as his younger brother forcully held him back.

"S-Sorry, it's just that... looking at you two save me, acting so stoic... I thought you two were actual heroes!"

"That's what we do." Said the older brother, standing tall and heading up to the roof, gesturing her to follow.

As the three made it up to the roof, they could see the vast desolate ruins of what was formerly a city before them.

"One day, we will bring peace and hope into this world." Smiled the older brother, "One day, my brother and I will create a world where the quirked and pristine can coexist and be happy. That is our goal!"

The girl, in awe by the sheer scale and demand of their goal, was left speechless.

"I know it may sound ludicrous." Said the younger brother, "But that's how dreams are meant to be, crazy, unreacheable. And only a hero can reach the unreacheable. We aren't reaching for the impossible to become heroes, we became heroes to reach the impossible."

The two brother stared out at the setting sun.

"One day, the world will know our name, and cheer when we arrive with great fanfare." Said the older brother, before looking back, "We are giving our all for one goal, and that one goal is to save all, all for one, one for all."

"Then let me join you!" Said the girl.

"Huh?" The two exclaimed in shock.

"I don't want to be picked on anymore! I want to be like you guys! Please, let me join you!" The girl exclaimed.

Fully expecting a rejection, the younger brother lent her a hand.

"Only if you can keep up!" He smiled.

Hearing this, tears ran down the girls face.

"A-Alright!" She smiled back.

"Oh? It seems like another gang's moving in." Said the older brother, "Let's go!"

As the three were about the depart, the younger brother as the girl one last question.

"By the way, what's your name?" He asked.

"The names Midoriya." The girl smiled, "Kaede Midoriya.

"Sir?"

Suddenly, he shot awake. He, All For One, the most infamous criminal in the world, woke up his servant, Kurogiri.

"Sir, Midoriya wanted to see you." Said Kurogiri, "It's about the upcoming attack on U.A's unforseen simulation joint. He came to discuss strategies."

"I see." Yawned All For One, "Send him in."

"Are you alright, sir? You seem a little groggy."

"Oh, I'm fine." Replied All For One, "Just had a nostalgic dream."
