As the tour hit their last week, the Drama Brothers, Nicole, and Yazmin spent their last day off at a local karaoke restaurant they stumbled upon in their current city, San Francisco. The band had been having an amazing last few weeks, and everyone had bonded well with Yazmin, Nicole especially since they were the only girls. They were currently at a table together waiting for their food, and Harold looked towards everyone to make conversation.
"What has been your favorite part of the tour?" Harold asked. "Mine was the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C."
"Disneyland!" Yazmin exclaimed. "Definitely Disneyland."
"I loved seeing all the different national parks, and looking at the stars at night." Nicole looked over to Trent. "What about you?"
"Definitely the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland." Trent exclaimed.
"Maybe one day we'll be in there." Harold added.
"I liked doing all the Poke stops on the Pokemon Go app." Cody said. Noah facepalmed and gave him a look.
"That was your favorite part of the tour? Catching Pokemon on your phone?" He asked. He put his hand on Cody's shoulder. "You're such a geek that it's lovable." Cody blushed at Noah's public sentiment.
"Okay, okay, fine. I really liked going to Disneyland, but you know, getting to perform on stage with Noah was a great perk of the tour, too." He smiled and looked into Noah's eyes as he said this.
"Much better." Noah said, smiling back.
"What about you, Noah? What was your favorite part?" Nicole asked. He stopped and thought about it for a moment.
"Other than canceling Justin once and for all, I would say the best part was visiting New York City without being in a baby carriage." The group laughed at the World Tour reference as their food was brought over. Their waitress had brought over a few of her co-workers for help with carrying the food, and after placing their food on the table, their waitress began to ask a question.
"If it's not too much trouble, could we get a photo for our wall?" She pointed to a wall of celebrities who have visited the establishment over the years.
"It would be our honor." Harold said as the boys stood. Nicole and Yazmin stayed put.
"Oh, Yazmin, would you like to be in the photo, too?" She asked. Yazmin's eyes sparkled as she stood up, and was pleasantly surprised.
"Really?" She exclaimed.
"Yeah, you were awesome! I can't wait for your album to come out, I already have all your songs from the tour on repeat in my head!" The second waitress exclaimed. Yazmin began to blush as she joined the Drama Brothers for the photo.
"A few of us had gone to your concert last night." The third waitress exclaimed. "You can't imagine how hard it was for all of us to get the night off to go."
"That means a lot to us." Trent said for them all. Trent took the phone from one girl's hand and handed it over to Nicole. She held out three fingers to count down as they all began to pose.
"All right, three, two, one." She clicked the photo button a few times, then handed the phone back. "I got a few."
"Thanks so much!" The first waitress said as she tucked her phone into her smock. "Enjoy your meal. It was nice meeting you."
"It was nice meeting you all, too." Cody said. Everyone waved as the girls went back to their job.
"I'm gonna miss that." Cody sighed.
"People really do love us." Trent said. "But hey, let's not think about that now. Our tour isn't over yet! We still have a few more shows. We should probably start eating before our food gets cold." The five of them were silent as they began eating their meals, and after about ten minutes, an employee came up to the stage in front of the tables. He was in his 30s and was short in height. He held a clipboard in his hands and held a microphone from the mic stand next to him.
"Good evening, San Francisco! How's everyone doing?" The crowd cheered at his statement. "Great! We're going to be starting karaoke in just a few minutes, so I wanted to give a call to anyone who wants to perform tonight! I'll leave the clipboard right here on this stool for anyone who wants to sign up." He dropped the clipboard onto the stool and put the mic onto the stand after turning it off, then returned to his station. Trent looked over to Nicole after this announcement.
"We should sing something!" He said to her. She began to blush as she ran her hand through her hair.
"Nicole? Sing in front of an audience? We're lucky we got her to do it the first time." Noah scoffed.
"Actually, I've been thinking about changing my major." Noah was genuinely surprised, as he thought him and Nicole shared everything with each other.
"Really?" She nodded her head.
"The thought is still absolutely terrifying, of course, but I've been thinking it through. I want to be a music teacher."
"But you've always loved astronomy." Noah told her.
"I still love astronomy, and I'll never give that up. I'm double majoring. Teaching gives me the best of both worlds - I get weekends, holidays, and summers off and I can spend it doing Astronomy related things. I'll still use both degrees, just hand in hand."
"That's really awesome, Nicole." Cody said.
"Yeah." Noah said.
"We've been chatting about it on and off, too, while you guys perform. I think she'd make an amazing teacher." Yazmin said. Trent looked over to Nicole as he held her hand.
"So you want to do it?" He asked her, referring to singing karaoke. "You don't have to if you don't want to."
"No, I want to. I think so. Let's just go up there before I change my mind." She laughed as the two of them got up from the table to sign up, and Cody looked over to Nicole, and smiled his gap-toothed grin he knew Noah could never say no. "We should sing together." Noah turned his head the other way.
"We sing together every night on tour." Noah said.
"Yeah, with Trent and Harold. But this would just be the two of us. It'd be fun!" He began to run his fingers in a circular motion underneath Noah's neck, which always made Noah calm down and agree to anything. Noah knew he was doing this on purpose, and he was right.
"All right, let's do it." The two of them got up from the table and stood behind Nicole and Trent, who had just signed their names and song first onto the list. The couple turned around to see Cody and Noah about to sign their names.
"Noah? You're singing tonight?" Nicole asked.
"Don't make such a big deal out of this." He mumbled to her, blushing. He looked over to Cody as the two of them left. "Do you have an idea for a song?" The two of them looked through the list of tracks the restaurant had after writing their names on the clipboard, and Cody snickered at one of the song titles and looked at Noah for approval.
"Really?" Noah asked.
"It'll be great, trust me." He wrote the song next to their names and took his hand as they sat back down at their table.
"What are you guys singing?" Harold asked.
"It's a surprise." Cody said. "What about you two?" He pointed over to Nicole and Trent.
"It's a surprise for us, too." Cody laughed as he rolled his eyes as he realized Trent was playing the same game as him. After a few minutes, the host came back up to the stage and held the microphone in his hand. He looked over to the submissions and gave a gasp.
"Our Drama Brothers fans are in for a real treat tonight!" He exclaimed and looked over to their table. "Let's give it up for our first performers, Trent and Nicole." The audience cheered as the two of them walked up to the stage. Nicole was nervous as she held onto his hand tightly, especially since their performance was hyped up to be a big deal.
"All right, all right, settle down. We're just regular people performing at a karaoke bar tonight." Trent smiled and waited for the crowd to calm down. He looked to Nicole as they adjusted their mic stands, then back to the audience. "This is my beautiful girlfriend, Nicole, and it's her second time ever performing in front of an audience like this, so please be nice." He nodded over to her to make sure she was ready, and as the song began, they faced each other and smiled.
Trent: "Don't go breaking my heart"
Nicole: "I couldn't if I tried"
Trent: "Oh honey if I get restless"
Nicole: "Baby you're not that kind"
Trent: "Don't go breaking my heart"
Nicole: "You take the weight off of me"
Trent: "Oh honey when you knock on my door"
Nicole: "Ooh, I gave you my key"
Nicole and Trent: "Ooh, nobody knows it"
Trent: "When I was down"
Nicole: "I was your clown"
Trent and Nicole: "Ooh, nobody knows it"
Trent: "Right from the start"
Nicole: "I gave you my heart
Oh, I gave you my heart"
Trent: "So don't go breaking my heart"
Nicole: "I won't go breaking your heart"
Trent and Nicole: "Don't go breaking my heart"
Trent: "And nobody told us"
Nicole: "Because nobody showed us"
Trent: "And now it's up to us babe"
Nicole: "Oh, I think we can make it"
Trent: "So don't misunderstand me"
Nicole: "You put the light in my life"
Trent: "Oh, you put the spark to the flame"
Nicole: "I've got your heart in my sights"
Trent and Nicole: "Ooh, nobody knows it"
Trent: "When I was down"
Nicole: "I was your clown"
Trent and Nicole: "Ooh, nobody knows it (Nobody knows it)"
Trent: "Right from the start"
Nicole: "I gave you my heart"
Oh, I gave you my heart"
Trent: "Don't go breaking my heart"
Nicole: "I won't go breaking your heart"
Trent and Nicole: "Don't go breaking my heart"
At the point of the instrumental break, everyone had been dancing and clapping along to their song. Nicole and Trent's energy was on fire, and the two of them were dancing on stage, staring at each other. Noah had never seen Nicole the way he did now. She was so in love with Trent, and had passion in her eyes. Before the next set of lyrics, Trent took Nicole by the hand, and gave her a spin, which made everyone coo.

The two of them faced the audience again and smiled as everyone cheered for them, and after a few seconds, they went back to their table. Cody handed Trent his phone back, and Nicole blushed as she threw her hands into her face.
"Hey, you did great!" Yazmin said as she shook her arm. Nicole lifted her hands away from her face to reveal her smiling face, both from sheer panic and adrenaline, and she leaned on Trent's shoulder as he comforted her. Everyone began to look over to the host as he came back up.
"Great job, Nicole and Trent!" He looks to his clipboard, then back at the audience. "Another Drama Brothers treat! Next up we have Noah and Cody! Come on up!" The audience cheered as the two boys went up stage, and like Nicole, Noah felt a weird combination of panic and adrenaline within him, even though unlike his sister he performs to sold-out crowds every night. This felt different to him for some reason. Cody took the lead as the crowd calmed down.
"This was sort of just a silly choice, so bear with us." Cody chuckled as the song began. Noah could feel his heart race from embarrassment, but as soon as he watched Cody stare at him and sing alongside him, that feeling went away instantly.
Cody: "When I wake up, well I know I'm gonna be,
I'm gonna be the man who wakes up next to you
When I go out, yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you"
As the instrumental went on, Cody looked at Noah to begin the next line.
Noah: "When I get drunk, well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you
And when I haver, hey I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's havering to you"
Cody nodded to tell him he'd sing with him next, and the two stood closer to each other.
Noah and Cody: "And I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door"
Cody: "When I'm working, yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's working hard for you
And when the money, comes in for the work I do
I'll pass almost every penny on to you"
Noah: "When I come home"
Cody: "(When I come home),"
Noah: "well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home to you"
Cody: "And when I grow old, well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's growing old with you"
Noah and Cody: "But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door"
Cody: "Da da da"

Noah and Cody looked over to each other as they held a microphone in each hand and leaned on each other's backs, and the audience applauded and cheered for the two, with Nicole, Trent, Harold, and Yazmin standing up to cheer the loudest. The two of them waved to the audience, then walked back over to their table. Noah was blushing as he walked past.
"See? It's fun to get out of your comfort zone sometimes." Yazmin told Nicole and Noah, who were both still recovering from their time on stage. Over the course of the tour, Yazmin got to know Noah and Nicole and considered them both to be good friends. Yazmin was the twins' first real friend they've had together, which was a big deal for both of them.
"Did you have fun?" Cody asked.
"Yeah. Yeah, I did." Noah smiled.
"Now it's your turn!" Trent said, pointing to Yazmin and Harold. The two of them laughed as they began to walk over to the clipboard to sign up for a slot. Noah and Cody looked at each other as Nicole and Trent spoke with each other.
"Did you really have a good time up there? The song wasn't too much, was it?" Cody asked nervously. Noah gave a slight chuckle as he took Cody's hand in his and smiled at him.
"No. It was perfect."
A/N: AWWWW. This chapter was so much fun to write. I took a LONG time to figure out the perfect song for Noah and Cody, and I don't know how I came up with it, but I was just thinking about it and im like WAIT THIS COULD BE A GOOD SONG FOR THEM LOL. Nicole and Trent were easy, this song was perfect for them. I hope you liked it, this is the last chapter on the Drama Brothers tour arc! I am very excited because a chapter I have had written out for a long time is coming up and I recently re-wrote it as the character Nicole has been changed since the first time I wrote it. Thank you for reading and I'd love a review! See you next week!
