It was early the next morning as well as Thursday so Maya was pretty set on getting a few stuff done.

She had already got dressed and kinda did her hair but not actually.

She didn't want to do too much since she was going to be doing a lot of that next week.

She got a call from Shawn but didn't answer it.

She knew he would come with the entire thing that she should come back home and she didn't want to hear that right now.

She heard a knock on the door and looked at her watch.

Eight-thirty.

Riley would be at college at the moment so it can only be one person.

"Hey, Josh. Come in," Maya said.

"Thanks. I thought I'd pop in and... What am I kidding? I'm fooling nobody besides myself," Josh said and Maya sigh as she goes back to the box which she was busy unpacking.

"I'm sorry about my reaction. It was childish," Josh said.

"I wouldn't say you had much of a reaction. You just left so I don't think you have anything to apologize for," Maya said.

"For that I do. I'm not a child anymore. I'm suppose to know how to handle news like this. It was a shock when I heard you were staying permanent. Still don't know if I can believe it," Josh said and Maya sigh.

She put a photo frame back in the box as she showed Josh to sit down on the couch before sitting down next to him.

She brushed a piece of her hair out of her eyes which fell out of her messy bun and decided that she should maybe tell him the truth.

"Before I came here last year it went very bad. I had depression and nobody knew how to handle it. I did go to a psychologist after a attempted suicide," Maya said and Josh's eyes widened.

"I didn't want to see what I'm doing. After we got back, before and after Raven's birth I had a few more incidents like that. Two weeks before I came back I had another attempt to take my life. But it was more serious then before. I did it at work and one of my colleagues came upon me. After that I went to the psychologist again and yet again she said I must head back home. My parents didn't listen because they didn't want to cope without me. If I wasn't managing the business, I was taking care of Raven and eventually I just felt like I was so alone. I had everything I ever dreamed about when I was younger and I felt alone. I told them I'll pay for my own ticket home and I did. One week later Shawn is calling me with a new threat each time to get me back in Europe. Apparently they need me to help and I don't want to go back. I... I never want to feel like I did," Maya said and looked Josh in the eye.

He looked at her with no expression at all but she didn't take much notice to that.

All she cared about was what he had to say next but that never did happen.

No matter how long she stared at him he never moved his lips.

"Josh, please say something," Maya said.

"I don't know what. Maya, I'm so sorry you had to go through with that. That you're still going through it. I wish I can help you but I don't think I can," Josh said.

"It's okay. I'm already doing much better and now with everything going on, me getting back on my feet and a stable job, I'm definitely doing better than I was. It's not that big of an deal," Maya said.

"If you need any help..."

"I will. I promise," Maya said.

"Are you really okay? I don't want to have to a call saying..."

"No, not entirely. But I'm getting better," Maya said.

"I can't believe you out of all people went through that," Josh said before pulling Maya into a tight hug.

She didn't cry but certainly did feel safe in his arms.

She had never thought she would be able to feel that again and now she did.

She was so scared awhile back and now that was all gone.

Maya pulled away from Josh and gave him a soft smile.

He tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear before leaning forward causing their lips to crash.

It was the sweetest feeling Maya has ever felt and she wished to never let it go no matter what happens.
