Taang Poem

How can you see in a world without sight?

I'm lucky to have you, though our worlds don't mix.

However, I know that's my problem to try and fix.

A chance at life to make this right, right?

Do you remember what happened that fateful night?

I wanted, needed, a laugh with your tricks.

I write to you now. Wonder why? Just for kicks.

In the darkness, can you see the light?

It's hard for me to see what you see.

Our fateful night, did you want to be together?

Why then did you not come running?

You knew I was free, or as we can be.

I think we had known, wasn't it for the better?

Yet I never knew how you could be so cunning?

What we did was left written in stone and the heavens!

Our flame will never be dampened, and Our fate shall not be seven!

Author's Notes: I thought long and hard about the last two lines, how to tie them together while referencing the elements: Earth, Fire, Water, and Air.
