August went a slow pace for Harrisonm With his father forcing new things into his brain everyday, August seemed it would lose a race against a snail. But, before Harrison knew it September first was knocking on his front door and he could be more excited.

"Ollyth! Where's my other shoe?" Harrison asked, looking desperately around his room for his right shoe. "I don't know." Harrison grumbled and looked around. "Mimi!" The small elf appeared, with an ugly smile on her face. "What does master need from Mimi?"

"Have you seen my shoe?" He asked her impatient, pointing down to his right foot that only had a sock. "No. But Mimi will definitely assist master."

"No it's fine Mimi." Harrison sighed, pulling out his wand. "Accio shoe." Harrison waited a couple seconds before his right shoe came flying at him. He caught the shoe and put it on. "While you're here Mimi take my trunk downstairs." Harrison ordered, gesturing over to his trunk that looked like it was about to overspill.

"Of course.'' Mimi snapped her fingers and the trunk disappeared, next she disappeared with a pop. "You seem anxiousss. What's the matter?" Ollyth asked, watching Harrison pace around his room. "I'm just nervous. I'm going to Hogwarts. It's my first step to a long walk." Harrison tried to explain to his scaly friend.

"Are you afraid of facing Dumbledore?" Ollyth asked, making Harrison fix a glare on her. That question was insulting. "No! I just don't know if I'm ready to begin my walk." Harrison was told ever since he was little he would be the Dark Lord to rise after his father. He anticipated the moment but he knew that there would be a confusing and long walk. Hogwarts seemed like the start of his walk, his first step to only Merlin knows how many steps.

"Harrison, you've been prepped for this moment ever since you were able to talk. Correct?" Ollyth asked.

Harrison nodded, looking down at his shoes. "You're more than ready to take your 'first step.' Maybe not take on Dumbledore but that'll come later in your walk. Don't worry. You have Snape and Quirrell there too."

"Yeah I guess. Thank you Ollyth." Harrison checked around his room one last time to check he got everything he would need. Once he was sure he grabbed Ollyth and operated downstairs in front of the Manor. Tom was waiting in his more human-like appearance. In his hand was a cage with Harrison's owl, Heto. "Finally, you're here." Tom said sarcastically.

"Let's get going. We don't want you missing the train." Harrison placed Ollyth inside his trunk and watched as she hid herself under his items. Harrison took Tom's wrist and held onto his trunk as Tom apparated into Kingscross Harrison saw many people rushing to get to one place to another, friends hugging and saying hello to each other, little children crying as their older siblings left to board the train.

"Hurry! You don't want to miss the train." A woman said to her children as they pushed their trunks as fast as possible to the train.

"I wonder who'll fill the DADA position this year." A girl gossiped to her friend. "Hopefully he's nice."

"No no no! I lost my potions paper, Snape is gonna kill me!" An older boy complained to his father.

Harrison followed his father through the crowds not exactly knowing where they were going. They ended up near the front of the train where a group of familiar faces were conversing. Tom and Harrison approached them and he couldn't stop smiling. "Harry!" Delphi exclaimed, running up to him and trapping him in her infamous bear hug. "Delphi I can't breath."

"Nice to see you again mate." Blaise grinned, giving Harrison a hug next. Harrison and Blaise were good friends ever since they were little. Blaise has always been reserved and kept to himself most times and didn't like sharing things with people other than Harrison, Delphi, Draco and sometimes Pansy.

Pansy and Daphne Greengrass were next to give their hugs to Harrison. He didn't mind hanging around the two girls since they were interesting and pretty funny regardless of their spoiled attitude.

"Where's Theo?" Harrison asked not seeing him anywhere nearby even though his parents were there. "He went to find us a compartment before the mudbloods could get their gross hands on the best one." Draco informed him, spitting the word mudblood in the most venomous way possible.

The group of children conversed with each other while the adults did the same. Their conversations ended when the train let out it's warning whistle that it was about to leave the station. "You should get going now." Nacrissa suggested, sadly frowning at all of the children that were going to be away until Christmas. "I hope you all remember what I expect of you." Tom said looking down at all the children. They gulped and nodded.

Bellatrix pulled Delphi aside and whispered something in her ears. Delphi nodded determently and hugged her mother. Tom looked around to see the Platform was clearing up and people decided to keep their distance from the Death Eater related families. "Harrison. Remember what we discussed." Tom reminded him in parseltongue causing the others to glance their way. Harrison nodded and gave his final goodbyes to everyone as he boarded the train.

They looked around for Theo and it wasn't long until they found him in a huge compartment near the back. It was big enough to fit all seven of them. Harrison, Draco, Delphi and Daphne sat on the left side and Blaise, Theo and Pansy sat on the other. Their window faced out into the platform where they could see families waving goodbye to their children. One family that caught Harrison's eye was a small group of fiery redheads. They were the Weasleys.

Harrison suspected George or one of those blood traitors must've sat around here. Harrison removed some things from the top of his trunk to find Ollyth laying there. Harrison took her out and placed her in his seat.

"Watch my snake, I'll be right back." Harrison ordered. Pansy and Draco eyed the snake hesitantly as if it was about to bite their heads off but nodded. Harrison walked out of the compartment and walked up and down the corridors. Harrison looked into each compartment in hopes of finding one of the twins and he luckily did.

"And then once you eat it you'll turn green! How does that sound Lee?" Harrison wasn't sure what George was talking about but didn't bother asking. Everyone's eyes shifted over to Harrison who just walked into their compartment. "Hey Harrison!" George greeted as the rest of his friends gave him confused looks.

"Oh I know who you are. You and your father are the model citizens." The brown boy with dreadlocks commented. Harrison nodded, smiling proudly. "Harrison these are my friends and brother. Fred." The other redhead smiled and shook Harrison's hand.

"Lee." Lee nodded towards Harrison as a silent gesture hello.

"These wonderful ladies are Angelina, Alcia and Katie." They all smiled at Harrison and said hello. "Quick question Riddle, do you like pranks?" Fred asked, giving him a mischievous look. Harrison heard from his older friends that the twins were infamous for their pranks they would do at Hogwarts. "Yeah."

"Great! He'll be the perfect test subject." Fred exclaimed, grinning at his brother and Lee excitedly. The girls however frowned and glared at Fred. "No, leave the poor boy alone. What if you guys ruin his hair?" Angelina suggested. She gave the top of Harrison's head an admiring stare.

"I would kill Fred Weasley for hair like that." Fred chuckled nervously noticing Angelina's glare. "Fine we'll just find some other first years to test our products out on."

"Products for what?" Harrison asked curiously. "Me and Forge want to make a joke shop when we get older." George explained patting his twin on the back. "And what not a better way to prepare than to test our products out in Hogwarts." Fred finished for him.

Harrison would keep that in mind about the twins. Looking at their family's financial status it would be pretty hard for them to create a joke shop. Maybe Harrison could persuade them over to his side by helping them with their joke shop funds.

"Harrison wanna spend the ride with us?" Lee asked. Harrison shook his head and declined. "No thanks. I plan on sitting with my cousins for the ride. Thanks for the offer though."

Harrison felt the train start to pull off, making him stumble around a bit. He looked out of their compartment window to see they were definitely leaving the platform.

"Alright then. See you at Hogwarts." Harrison said goodbye and made it back to his compartment. Once he went inside he took his seat next to the window and kept Ollyth in his lap. "Where'd you go?" Daphne asked when he sat down. "I got a head start on the mission. I talked to Weasley twins." Harrison announced getting a lot of disgusted faces in response.

"I'm surprised your brains didn't melt talking to those idiots." Theo said getting snickers in response. Harrison shrugged, "Meh, they definitely seemed like idiots but not as big of idiots you guys make them to be."

"I think you were wrong Theo. Harrison's brains definitely melted a little bit." Delphi said making Harrison roll his eyes. "I'm serious you guys."

"I don't know why your father told us to make friends with everyone. We don't need blood traitors and mudbloods on our side." Pansy complained. "We could get useful information from the blood traitors y'know." Blaise commented, making Pansy fix a glare on him. "Thank you Blaise. The blood traitors and mud-" Harrison was interrupted by the compartment doors opening. In the doorway was a girl with bushy brown hair and rather large front teeth.

Harrison reached for his wand quickly to hide Ollyth but it seemed the girl had already noticed her. She grinned which confused Harrison. "Were you about to do magic?" The girl asked, directing her question to Harrison. "Erm- yeah." She smiled and waited excitedly for Harrison to continue.

"Hopefully you like heights Ollyth." Harrison whispered to his snake. "Wingardium Leviosa." Harrison flicked his wand upwards and Ollyth began to float in the air. Harrison then put her down safely back in his lap. "I've been practicing magic over the summer. Mind if I use your snake?" She asked. Harrison nodded wondering what the girl was going to do to Ollyth.

The girl cleared her throat and aimed her wand at Ollyth. "Accio snake." Ollyth got lifted into the air once again but this time floated over to Hermoine, landing in her hands.

"I'm Hermione Granger by the way." The bushy hair girl finally introduced herself as she handed Ollyth back to Harrison.

Everyone had a shock expression on their face. "Hermione are you a muggleborn?" Draco asked.

"Yes. I'm actually the first witch in my family." Harrison could hear confidence in her voice which almost made him burst into laughter, and by the look of his friend's faces they were holding back laughter too.

"Anyways, I came to ask if any of you saw a toad. My friend lost one." Theo snorted before asking, "Who honestly keeps a toad as a pet?" Hermione frowned and sighed. "Maybe I'll try the accio spell. But thanks anyways." Hermione left their compartment.

Almost immediately everyone broke out into laughter. "She was honestly proud to be a mudblood." Delphi hollered, wiping tears from her eyes. They laughed for a good minute before the laughter died down.

"But she did know how to do magic though. Most mudbloods can't even perform Lumos." Draco commented after everyone's laughing fit was over. "Does Dwaco have a lwittle cwush on the mudblood?"Delphi teased, mimicking her mother's baby voice she would use to taunt people.

Draco's cheeks flushed as he glared at Delphi. "If anything the mudblood has a crush on me. I am inhumanly handsome." Draco boasted, smiling vainly.

"I think you meant inhumanly ugly." Harrison corrected making Draco punch him in the shoulder. The group went off topic from blood statuses and talked about various things. When the cart lady came around everyone filled their arms with sweets.

"By Merlin's beard! Guys look, I got Salazar!" Daphne exclaimed after biting the head of her chocolate frog. She held the card out for everyone to see. "No fair. I got Dumbledore." Theo complained, ripping his card in half and throwing it out the window. Getting one of Hogwarts founders was very rare and Harrison has never got the privilege to see a chocolate frog card of one of them until now.

"I'll give you my firstborn for that card." Harrison told Daphne desperately. She giggled and shook his head. "I don't want your spawn Riddle."

"C'mon think of the benefits. Good hair, great eyes, a parselmouth." Harrison told her, hoping to persuade her. However, Daphne was still stubborn and declined his offer. The others tried their best to trade with Daphne but she kept the card even after an offer of a hundred galleons.

For the rest of the ride the group's chatter died down and now the compartment was silent. Harrison had played exploding snap with Blaise and luckily neither of them got themselves singed. Delphi and Draco had fallen asleep with their heads resting on top of each other. Daphne switched seats with Theo to read a magazine with Pansy. And Theo had watched Harrison and Blaise play exploding snap, playing with Ollyth sometimes.

The train came to an abrupt stop, almosting launching everyone across the compartment. Delphi and Draco woke up from the abrupt stop taking awhile to register they were at Hogwarts. "Are we here?" Ollyth asked Harrison. He nodded and took Ollyth out of Theo's arms.

"Ollyth I have to leave you in my trunk. But I'll definitely bring food from the feast though." Harrison told his her as he placed her in the trunk. "Bring me a sssausage. I love their sausage's."

Everyone put their things away and shuffled out of their compartment. It took them awhile to get off the train but when they did they heard a loud voice boom, "Firs' years! Firs' years! Over here! Firs' years!"

"Delphi look! It's your long lost sister." Blaise gasped, pointing over to the giant man who was calling the first years. He looked about eight feet and was very huge. "Strange, that looks like your mother."

A group of first years surrounded the man named Hagrid, shivering from the rain and cold wind brushing their faces and skin. "Anymore? Okay, mind yer step now!" The man warned them as he guided them through the darkness.

Harrison looked back to see the others years got to ride in Thestrals. They were these horse-like creatures that could only be seen after you witnessed someone die. Harrison has seen many people die either by his hands or someone else's which is why he could see them.

"Ye' all get yer firs' sight o' Hogwarts in a sec," The giant man called over his shoulder, "jus' round this bend here." There was a loud "Oooooh!" The narrow path had opened suddenly onto the edge of a great black take. Perched atop a high mountain on the other side, its windows sparkling in the starry sky, was a vast castle with many turrets and towers. "No more'n four to a boat!" Hagrid called, pointing to a fleet of little boats sitting in the water by the shore.

Harrison, Draco, Theo and Blaise got into one boat while the girls got into another with a round faced boy who was sniveling constantly. "Everyone in?" asked Hagrid, who had a boat to himself. "Right then, FORWARD!"

And the fleet of little boats moved off all at once, gliding across the lake, which was as smooth as glass. Everyone was silent, staring up at the great castle overhead. It towered over them as they sailed nearer and nearer to the cliff on which it stood. "Heads down!" yelled Hagrid as the first boats reached the cliff; they all bent their heads and the little boats carried them through a curtain of ivy that hid a wide opening in the cliff face. Harrison had noticed some students had almost fallen off their boat.

They were carried along a dark tunnel, which seemed to be taking them right underneath the castle, until they reached a kind of underground harbor, where they clambered out onto rocks and pebbles. "Oy, you there! Is this your toad?" asked Hagrid, who was checking the boats as people climbed out of them. "Trevor!" cried the sniveling boy blissfully, holding out his hands.

"Lord that must be Longbottom." Delphi whispered to Harrison as they watched the boy take his toad. "He's as fat as a pig." Harrison whispered back to her snickering.

They clambered up a passageway in the rock after Hagrid's lamp, coming out at last onto smooth, damp grass right in the shadow of the castle. They walked up a flight of stone steps and crowded around the huge, Oak front door. "Everyone here? You there, still got yer toad?" Hagrid raised a gigantic fist and knocked three times on the castle door.

Everyone waited for something to happen and the door swung open making some flinch and others stare unimpressed at the woman who stood before them. She was tall and slim, she had her gray hair up in a neat bun and her stare was cold. It reminded Harrison of Voldemort's stare.

"The firs' years, Professor McGonagall," said Hagrid.

"Thank you, Hagrid. I will take them from here."

She pulled the door wide. The entrance hall was so big you could have fit the whole dining room of Riddle Manor in it. The stone walls were lit with flaming torches like the ones at Gringotts, the ceiling was too high to make out, and a magnificent marble staircase facing them led to the upper floors.

They followed Professor McGonagall across the flagged stone floor. Harrison could hear the drone of hundreds of voices from a doorway to the right, the rest of the school must already be here β€” but Professor McGonagall showed the first years into a small, empty chamber off the hall. They crowded in, standing rather closer together than they would usually have done, peering about nervously.

"Welcome to Hogwarts," said Professor McGonagall. "The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory, and spend free time in your house common room."

"The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rulebreaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup, a great honor. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours. "The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarten yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting."

When McGonagall finished her speech she looked around the room of first years, her eyes landed on Harrison and they made eye contact. Her expression was blank and Harrison gave her the same one back until she looked away and looked towards Longbottom who had his robes fastened under his ears. Then to a redhead who had dirt on his nose.

"I'll return when we are ready for you." McGonagall left the chamber and soon chatter erupted.

"She was intimidating." Harrison heard another first year say. "I wonder how we'll get sorted." It was Longbottom who had said that. "My brother said it was some sort of test. Fred said it hurts a lot- I hope he was joking." Harrison let out a snort as he listened to the redhead's assumption.

His head snapped over to Harrison and his ears turned pink. "What's so funny?" The redhead caught the attention of his friends who were indulged in their own conversations. "Nothing. I just thought it was funny how you believe that 'test' to get sorted is going to hurt." The redhead glared at him, balling his fists until his fingers turned white.

"No need to get angry. I just thought the idea of it was funny. Sorry if it seemed like I was insulting you." Harrison actually couldn't care less if the redhead felt insulted or not. The redhead nodded, letting his fists go.

Harrison jumped almost a foot into the air when he heard everyone scream. He looked around and saw that everyone was getting their panties in a twist over some ghost. What else didn't they expect at Hogwarts? Magic?

"My dear Friar, haven't we given Peeves all the chances he deserves? He gives us all a bad name and you know, he's not really even a ghost β€” I say, what are you all doing here?"

A ghost wearing a ruff and tights had suddenly noticed the first years.

Harrison thought the rest of the first years were dumb but appearently the ghosts were too.

"New students!" said the Fat Friar, smiling around at them. "About to be Sorted, I suppose?" A few people nodded mutely. "Hope to see you in Hufflepuff!" said Friar. "My old house, you know."

Blaise scowled, "As if."

"Move along now," said a sharp voice. "The Sorting Ceremony's about to start." McGonagall had returned to the chamber. The ghosts disappeared through the walls into the Great hall.

"Now, form a line," Professor McGonagall told the first years, "and follow me."

Harrison got in line behind his cousins and shuffled through the pair of double doors that led into the great hall.

Harrison admired the Great Hall since it was decorated astonishingly. Thousands of candles floated in the air, below the candles were four tables for the four houses. Each student had their own golden plate and goblet to eat with. At the top of the hall was a long table for the staff, Harrison saw Severus and sat next to him was that old hag Dumbledore.

Professor McGonagall led the first years up here, so that they came to a halt in a line facing the other students, with the teachers behind them. The hundreds of faces staring at them looked like pale lanterns in the flickering candlelight. Dotted here and there among the students, the ghosts shone misty silver. Harrison glanced behind him at the staff table to see both Dumbledore and Snape were staring at him. He turned back around and faced the students who also stared.

Harrison heard Hermione whisper, "It's bewitched to look like the sky outside. I read about it in Hogwarts, A History." She was talking to a student who was looking up at the ceiling.

Professor McGonagall silently placed a four-legged stool in front of the first years. On top of the stool she put a pointed wizard's hat. This hat was patched and frayed and extremely dirty. Harrison thought they could at least clean it especially if people were gonna wear it.

For a few seconds, there was complete silence. Then the hat twitched. A rip near the brim opened wide like a mouth -- and the hat began to sing:

"Oh, you may not think I'm pretty,

But don't judge on what you see,

I'll eat myself if you can find

A smarter hat than me.

You can keep your bowlers black,

Your top hats sleek and tall,

For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat

And I can cap them all.

There's nothing hidden in your head

The Sorting Hat can't see,

So try me on and I will tell you

Where you ought to be.

You might belong in Gryffindor,

Where dwell the brave at heart,

Their daring, nerve, and chivalry

Set Gryffindors apart;

You might belong in Hufflepuff,

Where they are just and loyal,

Those patient Hufflepuffis are true

And unafraid of toil;

Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,

if you've a ready mind,

Where those of wit and learning,

Will always find their kind;

Or perhaps in Slytherin

You'll make your real friends,

Those cunning folk use any means

To achieve their ends.

So put me on!

Don't be afraid!

And don't get in a flap!

You're in safe hands (though I have none)

For I'm a Thinking Cap!"

The whole hall burst into applause as the hat finished its song. It bowed to each of the four tables and then became quite still again.

Professor McGonagall now stepped forward holding a long roll of parchment. "When I call your name, you will put on the hat and sit on the stool to be sorted," she said. "Abbott, Hannah!"

"Finally the fun part." Theo whispered, smirking.

Hannah walked up to the stool shyly and placed the hat on her head. Everyone watched and waited eagerly for the first student of 1991 to be sorted.

"HUFFLEPUFF!" The Hufflepuff table clapped and cheered as Abbott made her way down to her house's table.

"Bones, Susan!"

"HUFFLEPUFF!" The hat called again. The cheers from the cowardly house began again.

"Boot, Terry!"

"RAVENCLAW!" The table second from the left clapped this time; several Ravenclaws stood up to shake hands with Terry as he joined them.

"Brocklehurst, Mandy" went to Ravenclaw too, but "Brown, Lavender" became the first new Gryffindor, and the table on the far left exploded with cheers; Harrison could see the Weasley twins catcalling. Harrison could also see why.

"Bulstrode, Millicent" then became a Slytherin too. Harrison never really talked to Millicent that much but she knew of his father's orders.

"Finch-Fletchley, Justin!"

"HUFFLEPUFF!"

Harrison noticed that some first years took longer to get sorted compared to others. Like, "Finnigan, Seamus" who sat on the stool for almost a minute before the hat decided he belonged in Gryffindor.

"Granger, Hermione!" Hermione almost ran to the stool and jammed the hat eagerly on her head. "GRYFFINDOR!" shouted the hat. Draco groaned quietly, mumbling something along the lines of, "Should've been in Ravenclaw." Harrison eyed his cousin suspiciously but dismissed it.

"Daphne Greengrass."

Daphne skipped towards the stool and placed it gently on her head. It took a few seconds before the hat hollered, "SLYTHERIN!"

When Delphi went she didn't make one mistake. She walked confidently and maturely to the stool. She took the hat and placed the hat on her and almost immediately it shouted, "SLYTHERIN!" A professional applause erupted from the Slytherin table compared to Gryffindor's unpleasant roars when someone was sorted into their house. She walked down to the table and sat with Daphne who had already been sorted.

When Longbottom was called he tripped over air and laughs emerged from the hall. He turned pink as he got up and walked over to the stool. Harrison thought the boy would end up in Hufflepuff but he surprisingly ended up in Gryffindor. Neville jogged to the Gryffindor table with the hat still on his head, causing more laughter especially when he had to jog it back to MacDougal, Morag.

Draco was next to be sorted and he swaggered over to the stool. The hat barely touched his head before it hollered, "SLYTHERIN!" Draco grinned proudly and went to go sit with Delphi and Daphne.

Harrison watched as the N's, M's and P's got sorted before his name was called. "Riddle, Harrison."

Harrison smirked as he felt Dumbledore's eyes burn into his back. He didn't even have to turn around to know it was him.

Harrison got to the stool and the next thing he knew he was looking at the inside of the hat.

"Hmmm," A small voice said in his ear. "You Harry Potter will be very difficult sort." Harrison raised his eyebrows, his name was not Harry Potter. The name was almost muggle like. But he didn't say anything, the hat was very old and probably gets confused all the time.

"You have lots of courage and bravery. You'll do very good in Gryffindor but you don't want to be there, do you?" Harrison gripped onto the edge of the stool to force himself not to rip the hat off his head and stomp on it for it, even thinking to put Harrison in there.

"Are you sure? You'll do great in Gryffindor. Oh- alright. I guess you belong in… SLYTHERIN!" Harrison grinned and bolted up from the stool. He noticed the Death Eater's children were clapping louder than ever, even some of the Ravenclaws were clapping too.

Harrison strided over to his seat in between Delphi and Draco. "We got The Lord's son!" Antonin Jr. exclaimed quietly so only their table could hear. Antonin Jr. was the son Antonin Dohlov, he was in his fifth year.

Harrison looked up at the high table and met eyes with Dumbledore, it seemed he was staring at Harrison the whole time. Harrison gave him a petty smile before looking towards the sorting.

Lisa Turpin became a Ravenclaw, Dean Thomas became a Gryffindor along with the redhead from earlier, whose name is "Ronald Weasley." Harrison should've known by the red hair, freckles and shabby robes he was a Weasel. Blaise was the last one sorted into Slytherin.

"You were almost a hat stall Harry." Delphi teased once Blaise sat down. Harrison rolled his eyes and looked at her. "Stop with the nickname."

He looked back over to the staff table and Dumbledore stood up and gave his annoying smile to the Great Hall. His blue eyes twinkled a bit. "Welcome," he said. "Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!''

"Thank you!" He said as he sat back down.

The rest of the Great Hall clapped while Harrison along with his friends laughed at the old man. "Merlin save this mental man." Pansy snickered.

Harrison watched as food appeared on the platters and his goblet filled with juice. "Finally. I'm starving." Blaise's mouth was basically watering as he quickly filled up his plate with the most unbalanced meal someone could possibly make. "I don't understand how you're so skinny when you eat like a pig." Delphi said as she picked out her food carefully.

"I can't become fat." Blaise told her simply, stuffing a pork chop into his mouth. "You're head can though." Harrison snickered at Delphi's joke.

He filled his plate with a better meal than Blaise's but he still had a lot of sweets added to his. He noticed Pansy's judgmental look. "Cut me some slack. My father never allowed me sweets."

"How's the food?" A ghost with blood stains on his clothes asked the Slytherins. "It's great Baron. You want some?" Marcus asked holding a piece of steak up to the ghost. Everyone snickered as the ghost glared daggers at Marcus.

"Very funny Flint." The ghost sighed, walking through Marcus as revenge. He shivered and swore at the ghost as he floated away.

Harrison helped himself to a treacle tart as he watched the bloody Baron float away. "Harrison," Flint called. "Do you plan on trying out for Quidditch next year? It would be an honor to have Voldemort's child play with us." Harrison nodded mutely. First years weren't allowed to try out for the Quidditch team so he would have to wait until next year to try out.

"Draco! Give me that back." Delphi snapped when Draco had reached for the last brownie before her hand reached it. "No! Wait for more to come." He told her biting into the brownie.

Harrison didn't talk that much for the rest of the feast even though a lot of people wanted to talk to him. He would do the minimum of nodding and shaking his head to answer their questions or to tell them he was listening to what they were saying. He had also snuck a few sausages into his pocket like Ollyth had asked him too.

By the time the feast was over Harrison felt tired from all the food he ate and him being up since eight o'clock in the morning, and it now being around ten.

"Ahern β€” just a few more words now that we are all fed and watered. I have a few start-of-term notices to give you." Dumbledore had got back on his feet once the deserts had disappeared off the tables.

"First years should note that the forest on the grounds is forbidden to all pupils. And a few of our older students would do well to remember that as well." Dumbledore's twinkling eyes flashed in the direction of the Gryffindor table and then at Harrison.

"I have also been asked by Mr. Filch, the caretaker, to remind you all that no magic should be used between classes in the corridors."

"Quidditch trials will be held in the second week of the term. Anyone interested in playing for their house teams should contact Madam Hooch. "And finally, I must tell you that this year, the third-floor corridor on the right-hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a very painful death." Harrison gave a concerned look while some others laughed as if it was some joke. By Dumbledore's expression, he was dead serious.

"He can't be serious." Daphne whispered.

"It seems like he is though." Theo responded.

"And now, before we go to bed, let us sing the school song!" cried Dumbledore.

Harrison noticed that the other teachers' smiles had become rather fixed. Dumbledore gave his wand a little flick, as if he was trying to get a fly off the end, and a long golden ribbon flew out of it, which rose high above the tables and twisted itself, snakelike, into words.

"Everyone picked their favorite tune," said Dumbledore, "and off we go!"

"Oh Merlin." A collective of Slytherins and a few Ravenclaws said. And the school bellowed:

"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts,

Teach us something please,

Whether we be old and bald

Or young with scabby knees,

Our heads could do with filling

With some interesting stuff,

For now they're bare and full of air,

Dead flies and bits of fluff,

So teach us things worth knowing,

Bring back what we've forgot,

just do your best,

we'll do the rest,

And learn until our brains all rot.

Everybody finished the song at different times, some not even singing at all. At last, only the Weasley twins were left singing along to a very slow funeral march. Dumbledore conducted their last few lines with his wand and when they had finished, the Great Hall erupted into applause.

"Bet you five galleons Helga Hufflepuff made that song." Draco whispered to Harrison who nodded in agreement.

"Ah, music," Albus said, wiping his eyes. "A magic beyond all we do here! And now, bedtime. Off you trot!"

Marcus Flint and Emery Rettop were the prefects in charge of taking the first years to their common room. They made sure everyone was in a straight line and paying attention before they left the Great Hall. Harrison didn't pay attention to where they were going until he felt his foot get stuck in place, causing the students behind him to bump into each other.

"Oh Merlin. Watch out for that brick," Emery warned when she saw Harrison wasn't able to move his right foot. She took out her wand and looked around for Filch before mumbling an indication and Harrison's foot was unstuck.

"It happens a lot to people so don't worry Harrison." Emery then walked back to the front of the line while Marcus stayed at the back, and led the Slytherins through the dungeons until they stopped at a large stone wall. It was empty compared the other walls that were filled with paintings.

"Right here is the entry to the common room," Marcus announced, slapping the wall they stopped in front of. "The password to get in this week is Propiss." The stone wall began to shake before opening a passageway into the common room. "The password changes every week so don't forget to check the notice board. Follow me." Emery continued through the passageway with everyone shuffling behind her.

The Slytherin's common room was not litten very well and it reminded Harrison of the Manor's lack of lighting. The common room has lots of low backed black and dark green button-tufted, leather sofas; skulls; and dark wood cupboards. One of the wooden tables even has a Wizard's Chess set on it Harrison could see himself playing with later. The windows seemed to face out into a lake since all Harrison could see was murky green.

"Welcome to your Slytherin's common room. No outsider has come inside of here for seven centuries," Emery's look hardened as she looked around the group of first years. "Keep it that way."

Marcus had taken the boys to their rooms and Emery had taken the girls. The Slytherin rooms were three four poster beds with green silk hangings, in front of the bed had been a case that could be used to store anything. The room had two separate bathrooms for three boys to share. Harrison had gotten bunked with Blaise and Draco. Theo unfortunately got Crabbe and Goyle as his roommates.

Harrison immediately pulled Ollyth out of his trunk and fed her the sausages she asked for. He let Ollyth roam around the room as he unpacked his things and placed it into his drawers.

Once Harrison was done he threw his wand onto his bed, kicked off his shoes and got out of his school robes. He grabbed his pajamas and claimed one of the bathrooms before Draco or Blaise could.

The bathrooms were huge, the tubs were almost swimmable and next to it was a shower. The sink's countertops were a black marble while the floors were dark green tiles. Harrison decided to take a bath so whoever failed to claim the other bathroom could use it next.

It took only about a half an hour before Harrison was fully cleansed and clothed, when he walked out he found out Blaise was the one who had been waiting to shower next.

"Took you long enough."

"Shut up. I could've taken an hour if I wasn't so generous." Harrison retorted as Blaise walked into the bathroom and shut the door.

Harrison laid down in his bed, Ollyth laying on top of him. As soon as he closed his eyes a loud pop made him reach for his wand. It was no use since it was Mimi. "Ugh, you scared me Mimi."

The elf bowed, her floppy ears going down and covering her eyes. "Mimi is very sorry for disturbing master!" She cried. Mimi walked over to Harrison's drawer and opened the second drawer, she sticked her hand into it and repeatedly slammed it for almost a minute.

"Mimi apologies for scaring master." She says once again, bowing.

"What did you want?" Harrison asked impatiently. Mimi held up her left hand, the one she didn't smash in the drawer, and showed Harrison a letter and locket. "Older master told me to give it to young master." Harrison took the locket and letter, he gave Mimi a dismissive wave of his hand and she left again.

"What's that?" Ollyth asked, bumping her head on the locket.

Harrison took a closer look at the locket and gasped. It was Salazar's locket, his father's horcrux. He had only laid eyes on two of his father's horcruxes, Nagini and his dairy. All the other Horcruxes were hidden away and Tom refused to tell Harrison where. Seeing the locket in person was shocking.

"This is my father's Horcrux. Well one of them." Harrison told her.

Ollyth scoffed, "One of them? You mean he has more than one?" She asked him outraged. Harrison nodded and Ollyth let out a deadly hiss. "It's idiotic to even have one Horcrux, but two?"

"He actually has six." Harrison told her hesitantly.

"I never knew the Dark Lord was such an idiot! You're telling me he split his soul into six?" Harrison nodded slowly and she groaned. "I'm going to sleep. I don't want to hear anymore." Ollyth laid down and shut her eyes.

Harrison looked away from his snake and looked at the letter that Mimi had also given him, he opened it and pulled the paper out. It read:

Dear Harrison,

If you are reading this you have my Horcrux in your hands. You're most likely wondering why I took my Horcrux out of hiding and I cannot tell you everything but that Albus has come too close to finding it. Especially after I came too close to finding something of his. I gave this to you because the old hag doesn't expect the Horcrux to be right under his nose. You won't have to hide the Horcrux but do not lose it. Albus doesn't know what my Horcruxes are nor where most of them are hidden. Until I find a better hiding spot I give you the task of keeping it safe.

PS. Burn this letter after reading

Sincerly, Voldemort

Harrison looked at the locket and examined it closely. He looked at the serpentine S, inlaid with glittering, green stones. It was easy to visualise it as a minuscule snake. He concentrated on the letter S, imagining a serpent like Nagini or Ollyth. In other words, the locket looked amazing.

Harrison crawled to the end of his bed where the trunk was, he decided to put his shoes in there. He moved some of his shoes and hid the locket underneath them. He would decide on what to do with the Locket tomorrow, right now he just wanted sleep.
