Hello everyone and welcome to a prequel story of My Hero Academia USA by Heroeschamp about Class Z's homeroom teacher Sara Zambiea

This was an idea that Heroeschamp came up with that I took up with his blessing

Like with the original story this will be an SYOC story with the submission form at the bottom of the chapter

Before we get into the chapter heres the disclaimers

#1 I am not Kohei Horikoshi and don't own My Hero Academia

# 2 I am not Heroeschamp and did not create the original story only a handful of characters that are a part of the world

# 3 THIS IS THE BIG ONE my brain is wired weirdly so my brain doesn't register punctuation if this will he a turn off for you TURN BACK NOW if you leave flames about my lack of punctuation you take the risk of being blocked

I looked down at the cooling body of the target with a look of disgust and a sharp pain in my arm

The target had managed to land a lucky blow in the fight

But it didn't matter the fight went as planned my enemy was dead blood dripping from his slit throat rigor mortis setting in as lifeless eyes stared up at me surrounded by a pool of gasoline

Phase one of the plan was almost complete I thought pulling out a matchbook lighting a match

All that was left to do was to dispose of the body

Turning around throwing the match behind him onto the body

"Now onto Phase two"

Franklin Rogers

Franklin let out a tired breath as he looked over the third pile freshman applications on his desk

This year Hamilton High had received five hundred applications to join the freshman hero training program along with the student applications he had to overlook the orders for the training bots used in the entrance exam that the infirmary would be fully stocked for any injuries that would happen during the entrance exam

On top of making sure the school had everything ready for the general education students support students and the management course

Franklin laughed rubbing his greying beard no one said that running a high school was easy but Franklin preferred it that way

Nothing worth doing was ever easy

From his perch Franklins red and blue macaw Jack squawked flapping his wings he flew over to Franklin landing on his desk Franklin laughed "don't mess up my papers Jack or we'll be here all night"

Jack squawked "you stay all night I go bed" ruffling his feathers Franklin rolled his eyes Jack had certainly gotten cheekier in his old age

Franklin rolled his blue eyes "traitor" he muttered

Jack made a squawking song that sounded too much like laughter to be anything else

Jack walked over to the applications looking down at them "lots of applications" he said

Franklin nodded leave it to Jack to state the obvious "yes about five hundred this year"

Jack flew up landing on Franklins shoulder "only twenty only twenty" he added

Franklin nodded that was true there was only one hero course per class which meant that only twenty students would be accepted into the hero course some would try to get in to other hero schools some would go into general admissions and some would give up on being a hero entirely

For students like that who can't handle defeat it was better that they didn't become pro heroes

Being a hero wasn't a job meant for the faint of heart

Reaching up to pet Jack's side before continuing to look over applications Jack was right about one thing there certainly was a lot of potential in this group of applicants

Now Franklin just had to see who would stand out among the rest

Sara Yarkud

The buzzing of her alarm clock woke her up reaching out from the warmth of the covers Sara felt around for the alarm the longer it buzzed the more awake she ended up becoming

Finally after what felt like an eternity Sara found the off button turning off the cursed alarm clock

"I just had to find the most annoying alarm" Sara muttered getting out of bed grabbing her clothes for the day she walked down the hall into the bathroom after showering brushing her teeth and changing into her clothes

Once she changed she looked at herself in the mirror her white tipped blue hair in its short bob her sea green eyes surrounded by her 'mask' of freckles the big smile of excitement on her face

Today was the day

Today was the day she was going to take her first step towards being a hero

Well ok she'd kinda already taken her first step but this was more official and MUCH less illegal

"Today's the day" Sara said with a massive grin on her face

And that's the chapter short but sweet which is perfect for a prologue now for all you SYOC lovers who want to submit a character as promised here is the character form along with some rules

#1 No characters who are part of the main cast of My Hero Academia USA all of them are literally babies at the moment and will get their time to shine later

#2 No Mary Sues or Gary Stus these are teenagers they should not be perfect in any way shape or form that's boring to read and even more boring to write

#3 Not every quirk has to be ridiculously overpowered there are plenty of versatile quirks that would be considered weak (the canon class has an invisible girl a guy with a tail and someone who talks to animals not every quirk is super powered )

#4 No quirks similar to One for all or All for one

#5 You can submit up to two characters but that doesn't mean both will be accepted

There are nineteen spots available for Hamilton Highs Freshman hero course

Appearance: (Height weight skin coloration any unusual physical features)

Costume: (what they wear on patrol things they use to better use their quirk)

Personality: (Likes dislikes everything that makes your character who they are)

Quirk: (Please describe your characters quirk what they can do with it what are its weaknesses and any super moves you can come up with)

History: (Who your character is where they came from what is their relationship with their family why they want to be heroes)

All characters should be submitted to my PM with the subject Student Application

SYOC is open until July 2nd so there is plenty of time to come up with your characters
