"Here we are." Trunks and Goten told the girls once they landed on a beach.
"This is so cool! It's so big—and blue! This is so amazing! Come on, Goten; catch me!" Mocha happily exclaimed, running towards the water.
Goten didn't say anything; he just took off after Mocha.
It didn't take long, and Goten and Mocha were in the water, laughing, splashing around, and having fun.
The sun was just starting to dim—and would shortly set.
"This is so beautiful." Peach marveled at the scenery before her.
"But not as beautiful as you." Trunks whispered in Peach's ear, making her blush.
"Trunks…" Peach moaned, only slightly embarrassed.
"What? It's the truth; you are so much more beautiful. And you know what?" Trunks replied before asking.
"What?" Peach softly asked, looking into his eyes.
"You're all mine; no other man may touch you without our say so." Trunks answered, pulling Peach to him, making her squeak a little.
"And I'm yours—and yours alone." Trunks added before pulling Peach up to kiss her; she eagerly responded—until Goten threw a bunch of water on them.
"Ahhhh!" Peach let out a shrill scream at the feeling of being drenched by cold water.
Meanwhile, Goten and Mocha stood there laughing.
"Goten…" Trunks growled before taking off after him.
Goten was just laughing his ass off; he didn't care if Trunks caught and pummeled him.
'Aww… Did the little kitty-kitty get wet?' A voice telepathically spoke to Peach, making her freeze.
After a few seconds, she started frantically looking around until her eyes landed on a man in his late twenties—maybe early thirties. He had shaggy, shoulder-length fire-red hair and coal-black eyes.
'Wh-what u-u-are y-you doing here?' Peach asked directly to this man, backing away.
'What am I doing here? Hmm… Let's see… I'm here to see my "favorite" baby sister. Aren't you happy to see me? Aren't you happy to see your big brother? Wait… That was Coal, wasn't it? That kind of hurts. Where are you going? I'm talking to you. From what I understand of Earth and it's people; it's very rude to walk away from someone who's talking to you.' This man, Peach's older brother, answered and then continued talking to her.
'You died; a boulder crushed you.' Peach spoke, slowly backing away in fear.
"Peach?" Mocha asked, concerned, finally noticing her best friend, getting Trunks and Goten's attention.
"Peach?" Trunks asked right away, watching her.
'Someone's here.' Trunks thought to Goten.
'Right, but where?" Goten asked, looking around, using only his eyes
'Ignore them. We're talking right now. And yeah—thanks for that by the way. You almost did me a favor—almost most. If I may: next time you decide you want to try to kill me, you may just want to crush me with a boulder instead of making a large crater in the ground. You made the hole too deep, and not wide enough. What I'm telling you, is that: your crater kept the boulder from crushing me. Seriously. Why couldn't you properly kill me? I mean seriously?! Do you know what it's like being a half-breed? Well—you used to; you used to be half Saiyan as well as what you truly are. I suppose being half-breed is ok—if you're something you like or want to be—or either side of your breeds like what you are. I'm half Arien and half Nekodian. Ariens hate Nekodians! Yet, my mother fell for our father! Only a few accepted me—and that was only after I ripped my tail off and cut those damn cat ears off! You should've killed me! However, now, it should be easier to get rid of you. After that, you lost all of your extra abilities of yours, didn't you? You see—if I could've had all those abilities that you had, being Nekodian wouldn't be so bad—and Ariens may have had more respect me. But nooo… The Nekodian to receive those abilities had to be born full Nekodian. You received all those abilities—and you wasted them! You gave them up to save your people from me. A lot of good that did, right? I mean, most of your people are dead. Now, Princess… It's time for you to join them.' "Die!" Peach's brother told Peach before yelling out loud, throwing a ball of fire at Peach.
"How about you take your own advice?" Vegeta suggested, attacking Peach's brother from behind while Trunks and Goten got Peach and Mocha.
"What the… Who the hell are you?!" Peach's brother yelled, standing up.
"Are you ok?" Trunks asked, holding tightly onto Peach.
"Mmmhmm…" Peach hummed, clinging to Trunks.
"Do you know him?" Trunks calmly asked.
"Yes… He's my brother, Taiyo. He killed my other brother and his father, Coal. I was told I was special because I used to have special abilities—but I gave them all up to try to crush him with a boulder." Peach softly answered.
"But she messed up and created a crater—which stopped the boulder from crushing me. That little bitch couldn't even kill me properly! She definitely the epitome of a Nekodian: too damn kind and peaceful. Now answer my question! Who are you people?! Oh, you've sunk to a new low—aligning yourself with a Namekian." Peach's brother, Taiyo, snapped before growling.
"We're Saiyans. I'm Vegeta, king of all Saiyans. And that's my son, prince of all Saiyans, Trunks, and his mate. Who and what are you?" Vegeta answered before asking.
"Yeah, right. You lie; Saiyans were killed off years ago. I know; I've heard all the stories. I can't believe Frieza was weak enough to get himself killed off." Taiyo argued, watching Vegeta.
"I do not lie about who and what I am. If you must know, Frieza captured, tortured, and forced me to team with him for years. And this idiot was sent to Earth when he was a baby and was raised by humans. We each have two kids and he has a grandchild—who are all full Saiyans. Our mates are also full Saiyans. So, Asshole, Saiyans are still alive. Sure, there aren't many of us; we still thrive just fine. Just like others who stood in our way, we'll take you down." Vegeta replied, glaring at Taiyo.
"I can't believe you'd let your son be with a weak, useless Nekodian!" Taiyo yelled, making Peach shrink a little.
"That is enough." A female voice calmly spoke.
"Who's there?" Taiyo, Vegeta, and Piccolo demanded while Trunks held Peach close to him.
"My name is Mango." The lady, Mango, spoke, appearing out of nowhere.
Everyone noticed right away that she was a Nekodian; she had a dark tan and fluffy white ears, a dark tan tail, and waist-length, medium tan hair. Her eyes were light amber, but they shined brightly like Peach's.
"You…" Taiyo growled.
"It's good to see you too, Taiyo. Look at you." Mango sarcastically told Taiyo before looking at Peach.
"You don't have a clue who I am, do you?" Mango asked, stepping in front of Peach.
"One of Daddy's friends; he had two pictures of you and him." Peach softly answered, looking into Mango's eyes.
"I guess you could say that. I'm actually buried with the rest of the pictures. Sweetie, you may or may not believe me, but I'm your mother; you're my daughter—my little Peach. But I suppose—you knew that woman as your mother. I don't know what was going on in that head of Fin's—making that woman take care of you. However, I was pleasantly surprised that she took care of you so well—and that she was so nice." Mango told Peach before drifting off subject.
"What the hell?! You died! That damn Taya was supposed to kill you! God damn, good-for-nothing Saiyan witch…" Taiyo yelled before grumbling.
"Oh, no; she killed me alright. You still haven't learned, have you? And Taiyo, Peach may not be the strongest, but useless she is not. EH! No. You will not be interrupting me. While alive, I was a priestess and had powerful spiritual powers—especially with sacred arrows, talismans of all sorts, and Shikigami. Those have all been passed from me, down to Peach. She doesn't need abilities to use any of them. However, she probably doesn't know about any of that—seeing as Fin wasn't a big religious fan. But anyway, her abilities that she currently doesn't have, she'll get back." Mango replied before being interrupted.
"She paid her price! She tried killing me; she killed her powers to do that! And she couldn't do any of that right! So what—you're alive now?! How were you brought back?!" Taiyo yelled.
"First off: I'm dead and will not be coming back to life. Please don't take this wrong way because I do love you very dearly, but I have to go back and be with Fin and Coal. Secondly: she didn't kill or sacrifice her abilities just to kill you; I took them. I took her abilities because at five or six, she wasn't strong enough to control or even have them; they would've killed her. Her trying to kill you nearly killed her. Third: trust me when I tell you; Peach did everything right. If you could be killed, she would've succeeding in killing you. That brings me to Fourth: no, you weren't born completely immortal; you should be able to be killed, yes? Well, that's where I come in. I used to have visions: I saw the path you headed down and told your father. He agreed that you would need a lesson. Before Peach was conceived, your dad placed a spell on you—the same spell he would've put on Taya if she had done anything to Peach. However, the difference is that you're still half Arien and half Nekodian. You, my friend, are one hundred percent immortal just like your sister, her mate, his family, and a few of their friends. And you are who you are." Mango explained, looking directly at Taiyo.
"You damn bitch! How could you get him to do that?!" Taiyo yelled, running at her, ready to attack.
However, nothing happened—other than he tripped and fell face-first into the sand.
"What the hell?!" Taiyo yelled, trying to create a fire attack.
"How many innocent people have you killed in the last seventeen years?" Mango asked, looking directly at Taiyo.
"What does that have to do with anything?!" Taiyo yelled, demanding an answer.
"Answer the question and I'll tell you exactly what it means." Mango demanded, looking at Taiyo.
"I don't know how many. Thousands. Maybe more. What does it matter?" Taiyo answered and then demanded.
"You've needlessly killed way too many innocents and no longer have any powers or abilities." Mango answered.
"Excuse me? What are you talking about? Wait… What did you do?! What was that thing?!" Taiyo screamed, freaking out, remembering something.
"So you do remember something. Do you remember what I said? No, of course not; you weren't paying attention. A few weeks after Peach was born, I placed a special seal that took me months to perfect on your forehead. Originally, I wanted to make a seal that would make it impossible for you to kill somebody—but I don't have that kind of ability. Still, even though I couldn't make seal that could prevent that; I could make one that made you made you weaker. For each innocent person you needlessly killed, your energy and powers weakened. And from the looks of things: you killed so many that you no longer have any kind of powers—or energy to use your powers anymore." Mango explained, watching Taiyo.
"Take it off! Take it off now!" Taiyo furiously yelled.
"I'm dead, so I can't." Mango replied.
"Then it should be void." Taiyo triumphantly stated.
"No; it's one hundred percent intact. Before you interrupted me, I was going to say, I'm not the only one who can remove it. To let you know, only the person who placed a seal like that, can remove it. I'm dead, so you should be stuck with it, right? Well, I wasn't the only one who placed that seal on you. Peach was with me that day; I used some of her energy and abilities to place the seal on you. So while she didn't directly place the seal, she did help create it. So, she can remove the seal. Oh. Peach, you're not allowed to remove that seal until he's changed. What's your name again?" Mango explained, looking at Taiyo before turning her attention to Peach and Trunks.
"Trunks." Trunks calmly answered, holding Peach.
"Ok, Trunks; you're going to make sure she doesn't remove that seal until he's changed for the better. And don't worry; you'll be able to keep an eye on him. Once that seal breaks, his powers and energy will slowly come back. *Sigh…*" Mango sternly told Trunks before sighing in frustration; Taiyo was in the background having a conniption.
"I don't have time for this… That's enough, now! You can't always get what you want because you're angry. Behave and welcome to your new home." Mango snapped before sucking Taiyo into some type of globe.
"What'd you do?" Goku asked, confused.
"I used a little bit of Peach's abilities and sucked Taiyo into a special globe he'll never be able to escape until he's released by someone." Mango answered, turning around.
"Is he going to be ok in there?" Gohan asked, watching Mango walk over to Peach and Trunks.
"Oh, yeah; he's fine. Well, he's not fine; he's angry. But he'll get over it—eventually. He can breathe and unlimited food." Mango answered.
"Unlimited food?! Can I live in there too?!" Goku immediately asked, super excited for food.
"Sorry no. You're a good guy; I can feel it radiating off of you. This is a prison for evil people who may have a chance at becoming good. You most likely wouldn't like the food inside. The globe is shatterproof and will not break if dropped or even ran over. And if you feel he deserves to be punished, just give it a little shake. It'll snow or rain—and yes, he'll go flying around. You can release him any time you wish to see if he's reformed or reforming. If he is, he can stay out. If not, well all you have to do is open this back up and point the open side toward Taiyo. He can't get too terribly far from this—a mile or two. If he does get that far, this has a tracker; it'll lead you right to him. Hey, King of all Saiyans! Catch!" Mango answered and then explained before calling to Vegeta; she chucked the globe at him.
"What am I supposed to do with this?!" Vegeta yelled, catching the globe.
"Someone to torment and not get in trouble for it—or not too much. I don't believe Peach wants it right now. Ok… Peach… Sweetie, I'm not staying dead because I don't want to be with you. I'm staying dead because I don't want you to hurt. There's no point in me coming back just to suffer in pain. The day I died; we were heading back from a doctor's appointment for me. I had been so sick and in so much pain and we didn't know why. I was in a hospital for three days before they told me I had Nekcrophillogro. Your father and I couldn't believe it because Nekcrophillogro is beyond super rare. The only known race to carry it are a race called a Nekcrop. Nekcrops are a peaceful race and live all over space. They never land on planets because they don't want to kill their lifeforms. Nekcrops are peaceful, yes. But they're also very deadly. Unintentionally, if a Nekcrop touches anything living, it slowly dies. However, if someone who is immortal (full or not) they will suffer with sickness and pain. Yes, I had some good days, but most were bad. At some point, I must've come in contact with a Nekcrop. No, I don't remember, but obviously I did. And then my concern became you because I always had you with me. What if you came in contact with one?" Mango explained, looking at Peach.
"Well, it's clear she didn't come in contact with one; she's not sick or in pain all the time." Mocha stated.
"Peach, step forward and then turn a little." Mango instructed.
Peach was confused but did what Mango told her to do.
"Anyone who comes in physical contact with a Nekcrop not only gets sick and feels pain; they are also left with a weird mark that look like needles coming out of a bush—like so." Mango started explaining before pulling her sleeve up.
Sure there was a mark that looked like a bush with needles of some sort protruding from it.
"And then… Hold still, please." Mango told Peach, using her hands to circle her waist.
After a few seconds, what was once a sundress was now a skirt with a matching shirt.
Mango then lifting Peach's shirt a little to reveal what looked like the same type of needle that Mango had on her arm. However, there were only two, and they were crossed like an X.
"What is that?" Goku asked, staring at the mark.
"Daddy said it was a birthmark." Peach replied just before her skirt and shirt turned back into her sundress.
"Ooohh… I'm gonna have to have a talk with that man. Why would he tell you that? That's not a birthmark. That is what's left of Nekcrop's mark." Mango replied, slightly annoyed as her left eye twitched.
"What's left of their mark?" Peach asked, confused.
"She's a key, isn't she?" Piccolo asked, speaking up.
"You know what? I am so sick of people saying that—but yes; Fin and I were both told she was the key to whatever. When the doctor first looked her over, her Nekcrop mark covered her entire stomach. And really, who knows how long she's had their mark on her because I had been suffering for two months before I went in. Nekcrophillogro isn't contagious—and neither are the effects that happen after that. In order to be infected by Nekcrops is to come in contact with one." Mango explained.
"No offence or anything? But how do you not notice that when you're changing her or whatever?" Yamcha asked, looking at Mango.
"The doctor I saw said that I must've came in contact with a Nekcrop when I was pregnant. I told him that that made no sense because I was never in any pain or sick during the entire pregnancy. When Peach was born, the doctor who took care of me that day said that it was a birthmark. Ok… That's it. I get it now. That's why your father said it was a birthmark. Now, Peach is not immune to pain; she feels it just as much as the next person. However, she never screamed like she was in pain and wasn't ever severely sick from Nekcrophillogro. When she was born, it was all over her stomach, back, sides, upper arms, her legs above her knees. But day by day, it started disappearing: first her legs and arms, then her sides, followed by her back. By the time that doctor looked at her, it just covered her entire stomach. It's already bad enough she was born a little early and was so small. But knowing I put her in harm's way before she was even born. The doctor told us that Nekcrophillogro is most likey the reason she was born early. But while we were at the hospital, what was left of that Nekcrop mark started slowly fading and disappearing a little bit every hour until it came to that X. The doctors and nurses documented it all. Did all the bloodwork, scans of her body. Thank God for Fin. Those doctors don't listen to female patients very often. All I wanted to know was if my daughter was ok. Coal, by the way, was just fine; he was with my parents." Mango started explaining before being interrupted.
"What does his father have to say about all this? Does he have son now?" Yamcha asked, watching Mango.
"Coal is dead; Taiyo killed him. I am giving him a chance because he is still Peach's brother. And I don't believe he was intending to kill Coal; I think that was an accident—and so does Coal. As for Coal's father? I don't know or care what he thinks. All my life, I was told I'd never be able to have kids. His father grabbed me while I was walking and held me captive for a few months and repeatedly raped me. So, when I found out I was pregnant with Coal, a half Nekodian, half human baby, I kept him. I don't care what my child was; he was mine—and he was my miracle baby. And then I had Peach—another miracle baby. And she was—is. I didn't love one of them more than the other. But as I was saying, all I wanted was to know was if my daughter was ok or not; I didn't want all that testing those doctors wanted to do. I tried telling him I didn't want anymore testing on her after the bloodwork and an X-Ray or two; I didn't want any of the other scans. But they didn't listen; they only wanted my opinion after Fin told them no more. We left right after that—and then yes, I was killed." Mango answered and then continued explaining.
"So what is she a key to?" Yamcha curiously asked.
"She's not a key…" Mango growled, narrowing her eyes at Yamcha.
"But you just said…" Yamcha started.
"They call her a key. Peach is Peach, not some key. Yes, she's special and can do a lot, but she's not some object to get whatever somebody wants." Mango explained, trying to calm down.
"Basically, Peach's abilities are incredibly powerful—stronger than any of ours. Most call her a key because she's one of few who are not affected by Nekcrophillogro. However, she's the only one of her race that isn't. Namekians and Saiyans are immune to Nekcrophillogro. Clearly, Nekodians are. So that begs the question—and I mean no offence, is she full Nekodian? Was this Fin really her father?" Piccolo explained, looking at Mango.
"Yes, Peach is full Nekodian, and her father is Fin." Mango answered.
"No, she's not." Fin spoke up, appearing before everyone.
"What are you doing here?" Mango asked, confused.
"I came to get you. Shelle is wondering where you are; you only have a few minutes left." Fin answered.
"What do you mean "no, she's not?" You're the only guy I've been with romantically." Mango started, becoming defensive until Fin put his hand up.
"She's mine, yes, but she's not full Nekodian. She is exactly who she is and what she's supposed to look like. I'm not full Nekodian: I'm half Nekodian and half Katze-O. My mother, the previous queen, was full Nekodian. My dad was full Katze-O. You're also only half Nekodian; you're also half Katze-O as well. Your parents told me a few days ago; that's why they pulled me aside. So—Peach is half Nekodian and half Katze-O as well." Fin answered and explained, backing away a little.
"What's a Katze-O?" Goku asked, scratching his head.
"Katze-O's are a cat race…" Peach started but was interrupted.
"What's the difference or problem then?!" Yamcha snapped.
"Shut up and let her talk…" Vegeta growled at Yamcha.
"Nekodians are a peaceful cat race who only fight if need be. And even then, it varies. Usually, the fur on their ears and tail are short and well-kept. Their hair is usually straight and not all over the place. Katze-Os are the opposite; they are a warrior cat race who fight whenever they get the chance. Usually, the fur on their ears and tail or longer, fluffier, sometimes messier. Their hair is usually longer, fluffier and either messier, or all over the place. They say they keep their hair that way because it protects them in battle somehow. For the most part, Nekodians and Katze-Os don't mix well. But—every now and then, a Nekodian is born who wants to fight or a Katze-O is born who doesn't want to fight—or fight much. And then, of course, the ones who want to or don't want to fight go to the other side, they usually have kids." Peach explained in shock.
"And you're saying you didn't know you were both?" Yamcha asked in disbelief.
"No, she didn't know; I didn't tell either of them. For the longest time, Peach believed she was half Nekodian and half Saiyan. Up until now, she believed she was full Nekodian." Fin explained.
"Why didn't you say anything…?" Mango asked through gritted teeth.
"Because you've always hated Katze-O. You've made that perfectly clear since you highly believe they killed your mother—who was a Katze-O and was killed by her uncle for marrying a Nekodian. Mango, look at me. Clearly, I've given you a few reasons to not trust me, but I've never lied to you. Hid stuff, yes. But I've never lied to you. And if you don't believe me, ask your parents when we get back." Fin answered and then told Mango.
"Fine…" Mango grumbled before turning back to Peach.
"So if she's some kind of key, don't you think she should be studied to figure out how to maybe help keep others protected from those Nekcrops? Testing isn't a bad thing; it actually helps people. We test on all sorts of animals: rabbits, monkeys, mice, dogs, and cats. Most of it's for the greater good. Sure, sometimes it's for stupid things like cosmetics, shampoos, cigarettes, etc.; it's still for the greater good. Peach could be doing us a great service." Yamcha asked again.
"You know what? Just because I'm dead doesn't mean you're safe!" Mango snapped; now, she was beyond pissed off.
"Ok. Hunny, please stay calm. Remember why you're here; you need to give Peach her abilities back before time runs out. Which, at this point is five to ten minutes. Think of Peach. Don't worry about him; he's nothing. Peach." Fin calmly told Mango, trying to hold her back.
"Right. Sorry. Trunks…" Mango started, only to be interrupted.
"It's not even up to you anymore… She's seventeen, right? It's Peach's choice now—or rather it's Trunks's decision; he's the one in control." Yamcha challenged.
"I was trying to help you. But—it's your funeral…" Fin sighed; there was no holding Mango back now.
"Yes, you're right; it isn't my choice. It is in fact, Peach's choice." Mango calmly spoke before turning back to Trunks and Peach.
After a few seconds, waves started violently rolling in the ocean.
"That doesn't mean I'm going to let your disrespecting ass off the hook. Don't worry; he'll be fine." Mango informed just before the waves came up and dragged Yamcha in.
"Now—Trunks… As I was saying: once I give Peach her abilities back, she's going to pass out. I don't want you to worry or freak out; she'll be just fine. She had—has a lot of abilities. Just like when I took them away: it's a lot for her body to handle at once. Yes, you have to have them all back; they're a part of you. If you don't get them back, it could make you severely weak to the point of not being able to get out of bed, severely sick, or worse; it could kill you. You're older now; the powers won't hurt or kill you now. Let her adjust—and if she so wishes; you can train her. Vegeta—if Trunks allows you to train her; you had better not push her too far. If that happens, I will make you regret it. Just a fair warning. Now—Trunks, stand behind Peach and get ready. Peach, I love you so much—and I really do wish I had a few years with you. Your father, Coal, and I will always be watching over you." Mango explained before hugging Peach.
Suddenly, six orbs appeared between Mango and Peach:
Red
Blue
Yellow
Purple
Green
Orange
One by one, Mango sent the orbs into Peach's chest or stomach…
