Time heals all wounds
Chapter 13th
Marcie couldn't believe that Leroy Jethro Gibbs was being truly emotional with his feelings over the phone. She cared as well for this fantastic man for which she calls her Silverfox. "I do as well Jethro. So what are we going to do about it when you get out of the hospital?" she had to ask after not being involved since her first husband died in a Navy accident as a diver with three others as well being caught with the debris of the naval vessel U.S.S. Carolina.
"Good question Marcie. But it should prove interesting nevertheless." He cried out over the phone feeling the pain beginning to start up again.
"I will be there in the morning. However, I will be leaving a voicemail for my boss in regard to the file. I just don't like this situation all of a sudden." she replied.
"I agree. Listen I am sorry to have bothered you at this late hour. It just that the damn dream bothered me most. Take care of yourself and please be very careful when it comes to your movements."
"I will try my best and besides I do carry a permitted weapon. Whether or not on whether I will be needing it at all Jethro?" she replied with hanging up the phone to make one more call before going back to sleep.
Bringing up the number onto the screen for her boss Jack Anderson. She dials the number as right away it goes to voicemail...
"jack it's Marcie. I need for you to destroy the original copy of my story on Shannon Fielding Gibbs Anderson and her daughter Kelly Gibbs Hawkins. It's important I don't like to leave any loose ends after what had happened to Special Agent Gibbs and the Cartel."
She ended the call by turning to remove her robe and slippers in order to get back into bed.

Alexandria, Virginia Jack Anderson's house
He wasn't asleep as he had listened to Marcie's message. He turned to face his associate Luiz Roma of the Local Cartel.
"I need to call her back to let her know that I will destroy the file. However, I need to find out on whether Special Agent Gibbs is dead or not?"
"I need to know for sure since our boss Alejandro Riveria was supposed to go after this Gibbs and the woman?" Luiz needed to say to the editor of the Washington Post.
"Wait here while I call her," he said with pulling out his cell-phone to bring up her number. He dials...
Marcie Warren wasn't able to sleep all that well after talking to Gibbs. She jumped when her phone once again went off to be her boss calling her back.
"Jesus Jack I didn't realize that you were going to call me so soon?" she says.
"Just finished up playing cards with my friends and with losing my shirt. I heard your message about the file. I will be sure to destroy it as soon as possible. Otherwise, what's this about Special Agent Gibbs?" he looked over at Luiz while waiting for the answer.
"He was shot and injured by the Cartel leader Alejandro Riveria," she responded...
"And what about Riveria what happened to him?" Jack Anderson commented.
"Shot and killed by other NCIS agents on the scene Jack. I am damn glad the bastard is dead. So call me when you're able to destroy the file?"
"I will and good night Marcie," he said with turning to see Luiz getting on the phone to set up another hit on Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
"I am going to be sure that this Special Agent Gibbs doesn't survive his injuries. Where is this file she spoke about?"
"I have it in the vault at work. When I arrive back later I will be sure to give it to you and your Cartel friends."
"Fair enough for now. I will send two men to the house acting as agents for Gibbs to find out what is his condition and which room he's in."
"Do you need me for anything else Luiz?" he said.
"Just get us the file and we will be able to figure out our next move." Luiz had responded.
Hanging up the phone. Jack Anderson had gotten dressed quickly since he doesn't have to be at work with it being Saturday. No one was going to bother him except for the security guard. He needed to be sure to bring his I.D. badge with him in order to get onto the floor and his office in order to use the combination number to open the vault and grab the file he had placed inside with the valuable information for the Cartel.
Forty minutes later with no police officers in the way on the road. He walked into the building showing the security officer Jerry Moore age 65 working part-time. As he let the editor Anderson take the elevator up to the sixth floor of the ten-story building.
There wasn't anyone around inside the office just himself as he headed for his office not noticing another man hiding in his closet that was holding a number of items and including coats.
Jack Anderson walked over to the vault with remembering the combination. He placed the numbers into the tumblers opening. He smiled as he grabbed the large file inside a brown envelope. Closing the vault door with switching the tumblers heading over to his desk with the one-man opening the closet to fire three times with the envelope falling onto the desk. While his body fell to the floor with the blood pouring out of his body.
This man working for the Cartel grabbed the envelope to head out with taking out the back entrance of his office. And the back entrance of the building for where there is no security officer.
