Time heals all wounds

Chapter 22th

Marcie was never so happy that her husband was going to be alright with time to be staying in the hospital to recover from his injuries caused by Alejandro Riveria. How he hated the man for many years having met him at NCIS and having McGee and Abbey to work the cold case that has turned out to be the murder of Pedro Hernandez and with Abby calling Gibbs out on it in his basement.

Gibbs knows what lies ahead no doubt with going back to work when he's healed. That's if Director Leon Vance will let him after the suspension. Public opinion had swayed their views when it came to Marcie Warren's articles of the truth.

Marcie had been holding her husband's hand while he was talking a mile a minute ever since he woke up. She was going to have to put on a muzzle on his mouth in order to shut him up.

But instead, she kissed him to make him feel better overall. "Jethro, you need to rest for now while I head home with the security team to continue watching the house with all new agents. While McGee, Torres, and the others head home to sleep like myself and Lucy.

"Are you going to be back in the morning?" Jethro needed to ask with hating hospitals.

"No. I have work that needs to be done on a news story about the local Cartel with who might be taking over Alejandro Riveria's position as the leader. And besides your daughter, Kelly had sent me a text message asking me to call her in the morning. I have no idea why in the first place?" she states with another kiss before grabbing her things to ask McGee to take her home and Lucy.

"Please Marcie be careful. You know where I keep all of my additional weapons in the house. Use them if you need to?" he says with a worried look on his face watching his wife walking out the door of ICU.

But Marcie had a feeling there was going to be trouble at his house. So she was going to be ready for anything with her revolver ready to go in her coat pocket...

GIBBS HOUSE

McGee asked Marcie to be careful going into the house with Lucy. Marcie had taken out her weapon with McGee watching her using the key for the front door. She noticed that the lock had been jammed telling her that someone might be inside.

Pushing the door opened. She sees the shadow in the kitchen and quickly fired her weapon...

McGee heard the shots as he ran quickly after hearing the three shots fired.
