"Heeeeeeey!" I hear a voice yell outside of my house. I wake from my groggy sleep and look at the time.

"Shit, I'm pulling a Tori! I'm gonna be late for school!" I quickly slipped on my boxers and began to get dressed in my school uniform. After making sure everything is in place, I run out the door.

Hello. My name is MC. It's short for...actually, why am I telling you that? Make it up, use your imagination, all of that nonsense. Anyway, this is the story of how I sold my soul for some donuts...and, boy, was it worth it.

I see a familiar face on the sidewalk when I leave my house. It's a somewhat annoying face, he's waving his thin arms in front of my house oblivious to any attention he might draw to himself.

That boy is Tori, my best bro and neighbor for as long as I can remember. Y'know, the kinda friend that you could never see yourself making now, but you've been friends for so long that you can't imagine a life without them? Yeah, that's Tori for ya.

Tori was actually kinda cute, in all honesty. With his unkept, somewhat shaggy blond hair and those sky blue eyes. Even the way he dressed, with his uniform slightly open, despite his thin figure (he was a total twink) and even a hair clip attached to his head was the epitemy of innocence. But, well, I had never really felt for Tori in 'that way'...

Anyway, we walked to school almost every day. At least, we tried to. Once high school hit, he began oversleeping more and more. I often teased him about having a girlfriend or something that was keeping him up at night, but he always got flustered and denied it. As far as I knew, Tori had never even shown interest in, well, anyone.

But, whatever, I'm getting ahead of myself. Point is, I had known Tori forever and he was my best friend. Not much more to it than that. He was a bit of a ditz, but whatever. He meant well.

"Hahahahaha! You overslept! I caught you this time!" Tori yelled triumphantly. I then proceeded to slug him in the arm. He held his arm and pouted, those blue eyes making a sad face. "Ow, that's mean, MC!"

I smirked and began to walk away from him. "That's what you get. You caught me oversleeping one time. You do it almost every day," Tori began to bound after me as I continued. "Besides, if people stare at you for acting weird, I don't want them thinking we're a couple or something."

Tori seemed to flinch at that remark, but quickly replied. "Fine, fine. You always wait for me whenever I sleep late, after all. I guess you aren't that mean~"

"Whatever you say, Tori..." I smile slyly.

He laughs nervously. "Ehehehe~"

We cross the street together and the crosswalk becomes increasingly speckled with teens on their daily commute to school. A lot of em are pretty good looking, too.

"By the way, MC..." Tori starts. "Have you decided to join any clubs yet?"

I stare at him blankly. "What the hell are you talking about? I never said anything about joining a club?"

Tori shook his head, his face slightly red. "That's not true! You told me you would join a club this year!"

I began to think. Had I?

It was entirely possible I had said something like that in one of our many conversations. In all honesty, I likely said it just to shut him up. Even so, Tori liked to worry about me. Even though I was perfectly fine spending my free time with video games and and hentai.

Tori continued. "Uh-huh! I was talking about how I'm worried you won't learn how to socialize or have any skills before college! On top of that, you're not even in a relationship, of any kind! Your happiness is important to me, Y'know? And I know you're happy by yourself, but I'd die at the thought of you becoming a NEET because you're not used to the real world! You trust me, right? I don't what to keep worrying about you..." He finally finished his rant and I was quiet for a few moments.

"...you're not asking me out, right?" I said.

Tori's face became redder than I had ever seen before. "What? N-no! Shut up!" He held up his arms at his face and balled his hands into fists. "J-just, think about joining a club, okay?"

I laughed my ass off and rolled my eyes. "Alright, alright, I'll look into a few clubs if it makes you happy. No promises, though. And stop being so uptight " I smirked.

Tori glared at me. "I-I'm not uptight!...okay, maybe a little." He sighed. "Just...promise you'll actually try, okay, man?"

I sighed. "I promise." I could see the glee on his face as he almost squealed like a little girl. Why did let myself get pushed around by such a carefree boy again? More than that, I was surprised I actually let myself relent to him. I guessed seeing him worry so much made me want to put his mind at ease...

What's up, this is Troy, your new favorite yaoi author. So, I've had this idea for a while now and I finally decided to start it! Now, if you haven't noticed already, I took some liberties and put my own spin on certain aspects of each of the characters, as well as the interactions between them. After all, we don't want everything to be exactly the same as the original, now do we?

So, if you have any complaints or issues with how I portray something, I'm sorry, but I'm probably not going to change my mind. If you have advice for my writing or something like that, on the other hand, I'm always glad to hear constructive criticism!

With that out of the way, I already have a poll up on which route I should start first. Yes, I plan on doing them all at some point, but I'd much rather only have to write one route for the main story instead of taking time to do every configuration, which would quickly burn me out. So, I'm trying to make the most amount of people happy while keeping my motivation alive!

Also, yes, in case you didn't know, this is yaoi. There will be NSFW content in later chapters as well as mature and suggestive themes in almost all of them. There will be fluff, but that's not the main event here. If you don't like this, you don't have to read it. Also, please don't flame. I worked really hard on this and I don't want a bias against certain things to make anyone upset. If you don't approve of this, you can always stop reading.
