Hi this is my first serious fan-fiction, I have poor grammar and if I get some facts wrong about the DC Universe please leave it in the form of constructive criticism. I do not own Teen Titans, if I did I would have not let it end where it did, now on to the story!

A Titians Titian: Chapter One

A Titan's origin

It was a nearly regular day, as a pandemic was rising outside a 17 year old named Jacob was asking along a sidewalk with groceries, things seemed like they were getting worse before they were getting better. Although Jacob knew things will eventually get better he was still skeptical of everything due to how the populace had been lied to in the past.

"I just wish things would get better for me." Said Jacob, one thing he constantly asked people being a DC fan was what power they would want, they always said flight or speed but he always said he would have a power-set like Doomsday. The ability to adapt to anything, regenerate from a single cell, to die and come back to what killed him, this was mostly because the thought of living in a world of superheroes meant facing death every time you walked out your door, and he knew it was both a cool and terrifying thought.

"Although I admit it would be cool," thought Jacob as he continued to truck up the hill to his parents house, that was until there was a bright flash of light, it obscured his vision.

When Jacob opened his eyes he was standing in a seedy dark city seeing a large grey white blur getting pounded on by a red, red white and blue, and red and blue colored blurs. As the blurs sped past Jacobs vision he could see the grey white blur get ripped in half and spray this purple mist. Before it registered to Jacob he sniffed a little of the purple mist into his nostrils and fell into a crevice leading to a sewer drain as debri fell and trapped him inside as he hit his head on the concrete of the wall.

Jacob woke up with a start having a shining flashlight shoved in his face and being shaken back and forth into a stone wall of an astoundingly large storm drain system.

"Hey, hey kid are you alive?" Asked a scraggly man in a worn out jacket, torn sweats, destroyed shoes, and an old beanie hat. Jacob flinched from the light and oncoming headache from the shaking.

"Yeah, I'm alive. Please for the love of all things don't shake me." Said Jacob as he blinked the darkness from his eyes. Jacobs vision cleared up and he saw the face of the man who awoke him, he was a moderately old looking man with brown hair and eyes, eye bags under his eye bags, and a cardboard crown from some place called burger boys on top of his beanie.

"That's good, I wouldn't want anyone dying down here. I should know it's a hassle to properly bury the dead." Said the stranger, he stood from his crouched position with his hand reached out to help Jacob up. Which he accepted with haste, he started to walk down the tunnel in front of him and Jacob followed at his heels.

"Where am I?" Asked Jacob, the man turned around with a shocked look on his face like I asked the stupidest question on earth. He wiped his soot covered hand down his face and answered Jacob.

"You in the underground city, the sewer city of Gotham." Said the stranger Jacobs eyes widened by a margin as Jacob followed the stranger he led him to an open man made cavern full of Hooverville-style huts and tents. Jacob followed the man to the biggest hut with two large scraggly looking men stood guard with revolvers.

"You're a newbie, and all newbies must meet with the big boss." Said the man who led Jacob here, as he began to walk away he heard Jacob call out.

"What's your name?," asked Jacob. The man turned to Jacob and answered his question.

"My name is Alden, I've been here for as long as this place has been around. Matter of fact I was the first person to help the boss out."

"Thanks for the help."

"No problem." As the now named Alden was walking away the two men with revolvers grabbed Jacob by the shoulders and pushed him into the tent. As Jacob stumbled into the musky patch of tents, wood, and metal he came face to face with one thing that made him shit himself. Killer Croc. He was scarier than the comics ever portrayed now that it was a reality.

The Crocs scales glistened emerald green, and appeared course while his muscles literally ripped through his tatters of a shirt, his tail was long and looked posed to strike while his snout was fitted with razor sharp teeth innumerable in their numbers.

"Name." Rumbled out of the beast of a man before me, he turned around to face me. His eyes amber yellow with a second eyelid blinking to hydrate his eyes. Jacob could see only the barest amount of humanity and sympathy behind his eyes, mostly fighting against something primal and eternally hungry and vicious.

"Jacob." Said Jacob as his palms began to sweat, as he looked the Croc in his eyes he could see the twitching of his nostril. Mostly smelling his fear, and Jacob could tell that the Croc felt that he knew that he could smell it.

"Why are you here?" Asked the Croc, his tail flicking dangerously behind him.

"I… I have nowhere else to go, and I fell down here during the attack above." Said Jacob, he looked at the Croc and saw the barest amount of sympathies in his eyes, he looked behind Jacob and signaled the guards.

"You can stay for the night, we'll feed you and give you some shelter. However, by tomorrow you are to be gone, is that clear?" Said the Croc. He turned around and went back to whatever he was doing, and as Jacob turned to leave he couldn't see the crock holding a picture of his mother.

As Jacob walked through the small village guided by the guards he smelled something familiar, Ramen, he knew it was popular among many peoples but he could actually see small amounts of meat and vegetables being added to the big pot over the fire.

"Would you like some?" Asked the kindly old woman, one he assumed ran the kitchen.

"Yes." Said Jacob, as he realized just how hungry he really was, abnormally so. So he took his big bowl and ate with a gusto he hadn't had since his puberty started. After eating, the guards guided him to a vacant tent, and he laid down resting his strongly aching bones and muscles. The hours ticked by and as Jacob slept he constantly tossed and turned, he rubbed his body into the sleeping bag to help soothe his aching body.

In his sleep Jacob felt his mind fighting something, as it tried to destroy Jacob. In his dream he punched deep into its chest and ripped out a glowing orb. As Jacob pulled the orb out of the rib cage splashing organs and bone he saw the creature in front of his turn to black sludge, as he looked back to the orb he saw past the glowing membrane to see something like an abnormally shaped DNA helix.

As he looked deeper the folds and connections of the helix looked like one of those illusions that went on forever, never ending and a headache for those who stared too long at it. As he was enthralled by something he tried to comprehend, he began to notice that the orb flung from his hands and into his chest shocking him. Jacob awoke from a start and leaped from his sleeping bag amongst flashing flashlights and spewed black sludge on the floor of his tent as the sounds of screaming surrounded him.

"What's going on?!" Yelled Jacob, as he ran out of his tent. Right in front of fully

armored men with stun guns, cattle prods, plasma blasters, and fully body armored. As Jacob tried to turn and run out of instinct he felt the stun guns prod his spine, he landed on the ground and saw the men enter his tent as he was dragged away, his vision slowly blackening.

Jacob woke up in a tank filled with this fluid, suspending him to see an African American woman he suspected was Amanda Waller like in the comics, and an unknown character he couldn't identify before he entered a deep sleep.

Amanda Waller was known as the "Iron Wall" and she was known as that for a good reason. Especially to the lead geneticist of project Cadmus Jonathan, who was tasked experimentation, production, and training of agents to go against the supers of today's age in case they go rogue. However, now he was tasked with the elimination of those exposed to the Doomsday virus, and they knew someone was exposed to it and escaped into the storm drain. They found the infected specimen, as Jonathan was running the last of the calculations for the boy in the pod before Amanda Waller came in.

"What's the news Jonothan?" Asked Amanda, she stood there, a steely gaze in her eyes telling him if it was bad news he would be "sacked".

"Well the good news is that it appears this boy isn't being affected by the Doomsday virus like a normal person would. That black waste sludge we found in the tent on that joint mission for you to regain the Croc and for Cadmus to get the infected? That was genetic memory and the genes for the mind of Doomsday used to take over the host during late stage infection. It appears that the boy had expelled the negative aspects of the Doomsday virus and assimilated the positive aspects." Said Jonathan as he looked up from his clipboard of notes to look Amanda in the eye.

"What else have you found out about the subject?" Asked Amanda, as she leaned on the table looking at him in a relaxed but alert manner picking at her nails slightly looking at Jonathan.

"Well, that he doesn't exist. We checked every database and haven't found anything: IDs, criminal record, birth certificate, nothing. He just doesn't exist." Said Jonathan as the final preparations were done inside the tube as long Needles were injected into the boy's arms. After the needles turned into empty syringes and were removed the thick nutrient rich liquid in the tank started to harden into a chrysalis.

"What are you doing Jonathan?" Asked Waller. She watched as a floating chrysalis finish forming.

"We're making him better, we're using genetic engineering in tandem with his already strong biology to create the ultimate weapon for your program per our agreement." Said Jonathan, all of a sudden a robot claw picked up the tank and attached it into a machine like one would put batteries into a controller.

"What is that machine for?" Asked Amanda as she walked next to Jonathan, he reached for a button and pressed it.

"It is a chamber fitted with an advanced AI to finish stabilizing him, and while the body is powerful it cant get what we need done, it will protect his personality and bolster his intellect which we know Bruce Wayne's strand doesn't, and enhance his genetics. It will continue Genetically engineering the boy with Bio-augmentations over the course of his metamorphosis." Said Jonathan. As he saw the screen he saw the boy get burned alive on a magma planet.

"How long until the AI finishes his "genetic therapy"?" Asked Amanda, as she walked forward and placed her hand on Jonathan's soldier.

"In a few months, the AI is a lot faster than us out here. If there are no disturbances as we continue to bolster him with genetic engineering we can put a cybernetic implant at the base of the skull to control him before the chrysalis hatches." Said Jonathan as he brushed Amanda's hand off his shoulder.

What surprised them both was when an alarm sounded, as they looked at the camera feed they saw both Batman and Wonder Woman enter through a burst in wall, Amanda pulled out a phone and texted someone before turning to Jonathan and speaking.

"I have a contact in Jump City Prison for the Metahuman, he fits the age range and we can store him there while his metamorphosis is commencing. We can leave him there in case of anything happening with these two." Said Amanda while Jonathan nodded while the machine containing the tank lowered into an armored truck to take the boy to the jump city prison for the metahuman.

And what they didn't know was that they just released a dangerous force on the world, one that made villains and heroes quake in fear, one much more feared than Doomsday and a force as uncontrollable as nature itself.

As the truck was taking the new experiment to Jump City through a camera feed next to a computer monitor containing information about the new experiment, watching the screen was a well built man missing an eye with silver hair and a scruffy beard. As he was viewing the truck and reading the document he smiled under his mask.

"This will be interesting." Said Slade Wilson as he put on his iconic half orange half black mask. The computer feed cut out as he got up to make a few calls to keep an eye on this one and to rent a mook for one of his plans to test this new super team.
