Hello my peeps!

First chapter is up, so here we go. I'll be honest, i had a bit of a hard time trying to figure out how to do the first chapter. So yeah this'll be a short chapter, simple cause iv'e had too much excitement today, lots of fails and i just need to get something accomplish today. This'll be more or less, an intro chapter like how it did in the anime and show a clip of the future.

Nothing to revealing but enough to give you all some idea to expect form this story. Plus iv'e got work for the next three days and iv'e got a feeling i won't be able to get to this chapter done till the weekend after this one. Also just to give you all a heads up. expect a OOC Tanya, as this one will be different form her Cannon self for obvious reasons.

Chapter 1: Plan X

How did he get here?

That was a question he keep asking himself over and over again, as he looked around to make sure he was alone.

Having a powerful, strong, demanding and influenceable woman in love with you should have been a good thing. He supposed, as he thought about his otherwise, bad current situation making him hided out in plain sight.

At least for the moment, as he couldn't avoid her forever and even then that damn devil would simply hunt him down.

God above, what did he do to deserve this?

"Must be my damn bloody luck."

Having someone like Tanya Von Degurechaff in love with you was in a word, terrifying. At the moment, the man who had unintentional captured her heart and was her personal bodyguard, Xero Von Mazoku. A young man about twenty one years old, with a slim but muscle built was hiding in one of the hallway corridor's. His dark purple eyes scanned for any sign of golden hair and his own pitch black, wild hair, was tied in a pony tail, making him look like big bird waiting for something.

His hair was shaped in a quill like manner, so it was a ridiculous sight to behold. Especially when you considered the fact, he was poking his head just around the corner looking left and right.

A very silly sight indeed.

A twenty one year old man, hiding form a thirteen year old girl was just plain silly. Then again, the thirteen year old in question was Tanya the "Devil Of The Rhine" so it's understandable. He didn't even know what happened or why his commander fell for him, the first time they met was when he accidentally bumped into Tanya. He's seen her for obvious reasons but he's never met her face to face and talked to her one on one.

Hell the only time he's talked with her face to face is when she caught him outside his room, either morning or night. It seemed the small blonde knew his every move, which was creepy enough as it was. Xero would have been able to avoid her for most of the time, had he not saved Tanya form her would be assassin. He didn't even know what he was doing or what his actions would bring as he pushed her out of the way and took the bullet for her, effectively saving her life.

He was in the hospital for three weeks and each day Tanya, Visha, Weiss and even Grantz visited him. Of course high command didn't take one of their best soldiers nearly being killed and when being assigned a bodyguard, Tanya requested him.

The fact he threw himself in front of Tanya to take the bullet without thought, without reason only made it more appropriate he take the position as bodyguard. Plus he knew her already as one of her recruit and given that she shocking got along very well with him, it only made sense.

Tanya had a bad reputation for being difficult to work with and no one else really wanted to guard the dangerous blonde.

Not that he really could say no and he had to grin and bare with it. Especially when it was general Zettour himself came to not only praise Xero for his actions in protecting his commander but to inform him of his new position. No matter how much he wanted to scream, as by that point his commander was getting a little...handsy. Not to mention she was a child, only made things that much worse.

Umm, actually check that, what made it worse was they slept in the same room and bed.

It was Tanya who suggested it and when Xero tried to fight it, her point of saying,"They might try to kill me in my sleep. They're cowardly enough to do something like that."

While logically it made sense, the fact she had a painful blush on her face when she spoke this, made Xero think she had something else completely different in mind. So he figured he prove her wrong by making a small bet:

If nothing happens in the next twenty four hours, they sleep in separate rooms. If something DID happen, he shut up about it. He was fairly certain he'd win and was smiling about it for the next twenty three hours.

Aaaannnddddddd during the very last hour, the very last minute in-fact someone tried to kill her.

Again.

So in response to this, Xero just keep his mouth shut, while Tanya looked like she won the lottery.

Damn blonde, her foresight was very scary and he made it a point to watch his every step around her, along with what he said. God knows what she would do next if he gave her more ammunition to use against him.

Thankful Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov, aka Visha, Tanya's adjutant and one of Xero's closet friend also slept in the same room. Meaning she was more or less a buffer between him and Tanya's grabby hands.

That fact alone is what caused Xero to buy Visha some very expensive chocolate. The brown haired woman was a chocolate addict and he felt she earned it. Especially when you considered the fact she answers directly to his charge.

...And to him, to a certain extent.

Being Tanya's bodyguard basically meant the same thing as being an adjutant. Only one helps the commander deal with paper work and brings her coffee. Meanwhile the other one shots whoever gives the blonde a dirty look for whatever reason. Plus she helps him hide form Tanya, when the tiny blonde gets riled up for whatever reason. The fact she was willing to risk earning Tanya's wrath, made Xero sneak Visha some of her favorite foods like sausages, potatoes and K-Brot in prime condition.

Really the busty woman had more then earned it, as working under Tanya could be just as dangerous if not more dangerous then fighting on the front lines.

"Hiding form the Major again, Xero?"

Said man nearly jumped out of his skin at hearing a voice behind him. He spun around to find first lieutenant Matheus Johan Weiss, wearing a small smirk on his face. Xero just glared at Weiss, who merely smirked and handed Xero a cup of coffee.

Much to Xero's delight.

One of the thing Xero and Tanya had in common, it was their love for coffee and need for the liquid beans.

Drinking it down greedly, Xero let out an "Ah" of appreciate and lessen his glare and gave the black haired man a smile,"Thanks i needed that."

"Obviously. Though i really can't blame you, being under the Major's command is one thing. Being her...'Bodyguard' is something else."

The grin came back, complete with a teasing tone with a shit eating grin. Xero merely glared at the smirking man, while taking another long, drink of his coffee. Laughing a little, the man moved so he was shoulder to shoulder with his friend and comrade,"Really though, you okay?"

"Physically or mentally? Cause the answer is, exhausted."

"Well the commander is a very demanding woman. Maybe you should request leave for a while."

"I do that and Tanya would kill you all within a week."

Weiss chuckled nervously at that thought, a bread of sweat going down his face. Yeah, despite phrasing it as a joke, what Xero said was entirely possible and he rather not find out if the Major would do just that.

As Weiss's mind unintentionally started making images of the blonde demoness, giggling and laughing a mad laugh as she stood over a pile of corpse's that were their comrade's. All the while she had a blush on her face and her eyes were, as Visha would call them 'Crazy eyes'.

Meanwhile Xero had much more different thoughts.

"How the hell did i get here?"

He thought, his eyebrows twitching agitation completely ignoring a now paling Weiss,"What the hell did i do to deserve this?"

Done.

Okay only about a 1'500 words, but again i'm on a tight schedule and i wanted to get something done today. So i can promise that next chapters will be longer and full of more dialogue in future chapters. So yeah, thank you all for the support.
