Mission... Completed

Riding with Richter to the airport, Tom was dressed in a plain white t-shirt and the jeans that he's worn since Friday while Ninja hadn't changed clothes, even when she was soaked to the bone. Everyone was afraid of what could happen, but the young spy had just one thought running through her head, Keep Tom safe. No matter what. The flight was calm and peaceful which was exactly what Ninja needed so she can control her emotions and keep Hadar out of her head. But even still, she could not rest knowing that they were moving closer to the one place she never wanted to revisit with each passing minute.

Walking out into the Riyadh airport, Ninja followed Richter and Tom while carefully looking for her teammates. She spotted Spike at the baggage claim and Dodger about twenty feet away on a bench, his bright green eyes trained on them. Snoopy always sticks out like a sore thumb with his red hair, so he watched his former leader, her handler, and the new guy from the gift shop. Growl blended in the best with his jet black hair, chocolate brown eyes, and dark complexion, so he tailed Ninja until a group of six men led them outside and ushered them into a jeep.

Growl turned to the blond-haired man beside him as the others joined them, stating, "We better get going so they don't have too much of a lead on us, Silver." "Agreed." was all Silver said before heading across the street to a waiting 4X4. As soon as all five teammates were in the vehicle, Silver drove in the general direction of the camp and was not too far behind the jeep that held their leader, teammate, and friend.

The dust-covered jeep rolled to a stop in the middle of Hadar's camp as Ninja hopped out and quickly surveyed her surroundings. Luckily, she turned around right as Tom was shoved out of the vehicle and she tried to cushion his fall as they both crumpled to the ground. "Watch it! He'll fetch a good price as long as he's not too broken." Richter snapped as he climbed out. "Are you o.k, Tommy?" Ninja asked, genuinely concerned for her partner but also still in character. Struggling to get up, Tom grunted, "Yeah. Still can't believe a history teacher and coach would go this far to show us the error of our ways." "What, the teenage drug dealer can't handle the big, bad world?" Richter mocked, pulling Hanson to his feet. "You don't know nothing about me." Tom growled, trying to hide the pain that every movement caused him.

Smoothly strolling toward the three newcomers; Hadar, who looked like him and Growl could be twins, greeted, "Welcome, you must be John Webb. Tell me, where is Smith?" "He's indisposed at the moment making sure that no one will miss these two. This is Tommy McQuaid …" Ninja moved in front of Hanson protectively, "And Smith said that you already know the girl." Hadar nodded, eyes sparkling in remembrance with an evil grin showing his plans for them, "Let's talk price." "Triple the usual rate for the girl and full price of the McQuaid."

Chuckling at Richter's cockiness, Hadar shook his head, "It's obvious she has still got some fight left. Double for the woman and since I shall have to break her, a quarter for the boy." "How about half for the McQuaid? If you keep him alive, she'll be more corporative and less likely to run." Richter knew that he was pushing his luck with this haggling but the team needs whatever time they could buy them. "Very well, half it is. I'll be needing more strong backs soon." Hadar grinned, extending a hand to seal the deal. Richter grinned in relief, nodding as they shook hands, "We already have a few in mind. One of which is the McQuaid's older brother, and trust me, with the right training, he'll give Smith a run for his money."

Suddenly a shrill whistle pierced the air and Ninja sprung into action, tackling Hadar to the ground. Gunfire erupted all around them. Ninja just hoped that her team had done their job. Silver, Growl, and Dodger ran to them and Silver hit Hadar on the side of the head with the butt of his gun. While a jeep barreled towards the group from the opposite direction.

"Here. Everybody in the jeep!" Silver barked, handing Ninja his sidearm as Snoopy stopped the vehicle and Spike hopped out to help Growl and Dodger load Hadar into the back. As soon as the last foot left the ground, Snoopy shot out of there. Leaving behind only a cloud of dust and a pile of bodies as evidence that they were ever there.

Once they were a few miles away, Ninja asked, "Is everyone all right?" All but two nodded yes. "Tom?" the worry evident in her voice. "I'm ok. Just a little sore from everything." Nodding, Ninja asked, "Silver?" "I'm alright, Ninja." The blonde said dismissively. "No, you're not. You never could lie to me; now, what's wrong?" She pressed.

Knowing that the young woman won't let it slide, Silver sighed, "A couple of grazes, nothing too bad. Spike can patch me up on the plane." They fell into a compatible silence the rest of the drive to the small private airstrip owned by a Saudi prince that Ninja befriended on her last mission.

"Y'all are still flying JD? I woulda thought that they'd get you guys a better plane by now." Ninja laughed as she stepped out to help Tom climb out. "They offered but we couldn't get rid of Jack, he's part of the team," Snoopy replied, jogging ahead to open the plane.

Silver locked his stormy blue eyes on Ninja, grabbing ahold of her elbow, "And so are you. There's a spot open; if you want it." "Thanks for the offer but," Ninja watched Tom disappear inside the old black-op plane, "I think I've found a new one." Smiling down at his old partner, Silver said, "He's lucky. If you need us, don't hesitate to call." "I'll remember that." The brunette chuckled, slugging her former second-in-command on his shoulder before tiredly jogging towards the plane. Tiredly plopping down in her old seat near the cockpit, the teen allowed her body to relax, It's finally over...
