Boris Yeltsin: Yeah, I still like watching Freeform, I'm just tired of starting their shows and just waiting for them to inevitably get cancelled. :/

PrettyLittleAshwee11: I'm so sorry, but the entire story is basically building up to them finally being together for real, so they don't really get together until the end. :/ But there's still so much good drama and sneaking around in store, so please don't give up on the story yet!

DuncneyLoveOfMyLife: Taylor is the best! And Spencer redeemed herself a little bit! And yes, alone time! And more alone time in this chapter...or not?

Ashley: Aw, that would have been such a good idea! I should have planned better and had a Christmas special chapter, but I never even thought about it, and by the time I saw your review, I just didn't have the time to write one. Sorry! :(

Hope you all had a good Christmas, if you celebrate! I'm so sad it's over; I still can't believe how fast this year has gone by, but I guess that's what happens when you're not doing anything!

Enjoy!

"Babe, are you almost ready? We're gonna miss our reservation."

They had checked into their B&B a few hours ago, and Caleb was currently watching a ball game in their room as he waited for Hanna to finish getting ready.

"Be right there!" he heard her call back.

He kept checking his watch impatiently. She had been getting ready for well over an hour now, and he didn't know what was taking so long.

He heard footsteps behind him, and turned to face her as she walked out of the bedroom.

"Wow," he said simply as he took her in, getting up to stand in front of her. "You look...so beautiful."

She was wearing a navy blue lace off-the-shoulder dress that hugged her body in all the right places. Her hair was running down her back in loose curls, and her blue eyes were accentuated by dark, smokey eye makeup, her lips nude to balance it.

She could feel her cheeks warm as he complimented her. She knew she was attractive - people told her that all the time. But there was just something about the way Caleb said it, the way he looked at her when he said it, that she couldn't stop herself from blushing.

"I've decided," he started, a mischievous smile on his face, "That I don't care if we miss our reservation. I'd much rather just stay in with you."

He leaned in to kiss her, and it quickly turned passionate. But then she pulled away, breathless, rubbing the skin around her lips to make sure her lip product hadn't smudged.

"Down, boy," she giggled. "We'll have plenty of time for that later. It's just us this weekend," she reminded him. "But right now, I'd really like it to be us, surrounded by some really good food."

Their reservation, which they actually did end up making, was at a little Italian restaurant downtown.

The food was good, the conversation was great, and Caleb and Hanna were just enjoying getting to spend time together without having to worry about who was around. They held hands through most of the dinner, gazing into each others' eyes as they talked about everything and nothing.

"So that's why Aria's still reluctant to get serious with Jason," she concluded. "Although I think he's really good for her. Way better than Fitz," she wrinkled up her nose as she thought about Ezra.

"But, I mean, Alison's dead," Caleb said bluntly. "Aria can't really be worried about what she'd think of her dating her brother, right?"

"Wow, you're so tactful," Hanna said, rolling her eyes. "But trust me, if you knew Ali, you would understand that even from beyond the grave, she's probably still sending out bad vibes to them for this. That's just how she was. She wanted things to be all about her, all the time, and no one else could get what they wanted until she had what she wanted."

Caleb hesitated, considering whether or not he should say what he really wanted to.

"You've got that look," Hanna said immediately, clearly noticing.

"What look?" he feigned innocence.

"That look that means you want to tell me something, but you don't think you should." His heart skipped a beat at the realization of just how well she knows him. "Talk to me," she encouraged gently.

"I was just thinking," he began slowly. "It doesn't sound like she was a very good friend to you. To any of you."

Hanna sighed. He wasn't wrong.

"She wasn't always," she agreed. "But sometimes, when she wanted to be, she was, like, the best friend ever. Usually just when she was trying to get something for herself," she admitted. "But she just had this energy, this spirit, that meant you couldn't not love her. Even when she was a pretty terrible person."

Caleb squeezed her hand gently, supportively. He always loved when she opened up to him.

"Hanna!" a loud voice broke their moment, making them both turn to the source. "Is that you? Is that my darling granddaughter?"

Hanna pulled away from Caleb abruptly, wincing as she saw the hurt look on his face, sitting back in her chair as she saw her grandmother, Regina Marin, approaching their table.

"Grandma!" Hanna exclaimed, standing up to give her a hug. "What are you doing here?" She had chosen this remote place as their weekend destination feeling pretty confident that they wouldn't see anyone they knew here.

"I'm having a girls' weekend with my best friends from college. We do it every year," Regina explained. "What about you guys?" she asked, her eyes flicking over to land on Caleb.

"Uh, this is my friend, Caleb," Hanna rushed out, panicking.

Caleb forced a tight smile; being referred to as her "friend" felt like a knife through his heart, yet another reminder that she wasn't his.

"We're working on Veronica Hastings' campaign together," Hanna informed her grandmother.

"Ah, I see," she said, looking between the pair suspiciously. "What brings you all the way out here then?" she asked, raising her eyebrows.

"We're just...handling campaign stuff," she said quickly. "Gotta spread the word all around Pennsylvania. Amish people vote, too, you know."

Caleb hid his mouth behind his fist as he chuckled. She always managed to make him smile, even in tense, awkward situations like the one they were currently in.

"Gotcha," Regina replied, still not looking convinced.

"Well, you both got awfully dressed up for this...'work dinner'?" she observed questioningly. "And you look quite...cozy."

"Well, you know," Hanna began. "We're just going over stuff for the campaign," she said again, trying to sound as convincing as possible.

"Of course," Regina smiled tightly. "Well, you two just, enjoy the rest of this business meeting, then," she told them before walking back to her table to rejoin her friends.

After their...eventful dinner, Caleb and Hanna decided to walk around the downtown area a little bit, praying they didn't unexpectedly run into someone else they knew.

They went into a few shops, including a couple of small boutiques, but Hanna didn't find anything she felt inclined enough to buy.

Then they stumbled upon an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, and, despite still being pretty full from dinner, they couldn't turn down the opportunity for some ice cream.

"I'll have a small Chocolate Peanut Butter in a waffle cone," Caleb ordered, before running his hand down Hanna's back gently as she stepped up to the counter.

"Can I get a small Chocolate Chip in a sugar cone? With rainbow sprinkles?" she added excitedly.

Caleb paid for the ice creams and they stepped to the side to wait.

Caleb was chuckling, muttering, "Rainbow sprinkles," under his breath as he put his wallet away.

"What's so funny?" she asked indignantly. "Do you have something against rainbow sprinkles?"

"Nothing," he replied, smiling down at her. "You are just too cute, that's all." He leaned down to place a soft kiss against her lips.

Once they got their ice cream cones, they left the ice cream parlor to continue their stroll through downtown.

"I just wanna try it," Hanna giggled. "Just one little taste."

"Fine," Caleb agreed, moving the cone down to her lips. After she had taken a lick of his ice cream, he surprised her by tapping her nose with it.

"Hey!" she cried, pulling back as she felt the cold on her skin. "That wasn't nice!"

"Sorry," he said, smirking at her and looking anything but sorry. "I'll clean it up for you."

He leaned in to press a soft kiss against her nose, his tongue flicking out to lick the sweet liquid off of her skin, her heart fluttering at his soft touch.

They continued checking out the downtown, going into a candy store and an arcade.

As they were walking back towards the car, they passed the entrance of the restaurant they had dined at earlier. Just as they passed it, Regina and her friends were walking out the front door. Hanna quickly turned away to face Caleb, hoping her grandmother wouldn't notice them, but she was too late.

"Hanna!" she heard her name being called, and Caleb immediately dropped his arm from around her waist, taking a couple of steps away to put some space between them.

"Do you mind if I steal her for a moment?" Regina asked Caleb as she approached them.

"Uh, no. Of course not," Caleb said politely. "I'll just go check out a couple more of the stores," he told Hanna, turning in the direction of a nearby music store.

Regina started walking down the road, encouraging Hanna to walk with her.

"So," Regina started, and Hanna knew she wasn't going to like where this conversation was heading. "Why don't you tell me what's really going on?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," Hanna played dumb, avoiding eye contact.

"I'm talking about the fact that you seem to be on a romantic getaway with a man who, I am quite certain, is not your husband."

"I told you," Hanna argued. "We're just here working on campaign stuff."

Regina made a noise that Hanna couldn't identify, but knew for a fact she didn't like.

"Hanna," Regina said gently. "Co-workers do not look at each other the way I just saw the two of you looking at each other. He's a real cutie," she added as an afterthought.

Hanna sighed, knowing she couldn't work her way out of this one.

"So maybe we're a little more than co-workers," she finally admitted.

"How much more?" Regina questioned.

"I really like him," she whispered, feeling guilty just saying it out loud.

"What about Jordan?"

"What about him?" Hanna asked, confused. Obviously he didn't know, obviously he couldn't know. As much as she cared about Caleb, which she did, this couldn't get out. She couldn't put her marriage in jeopardy.

"Well, you're not wearing your rings," Regina observed.

Hanna looked down at her hands, confirming what she already knew. She never wore her rings now when she was with Caleb.

"Oh, god, does he not know you're married?" Regina asked suddenly.

"Of course he knows, Grandma! But that doesn't mean I need to remind him of it every time he grabs my hand."

"So does he 'really like' you, too, then?" Regina asked softly.

Hanna nodded, smiling as she thought about Caleb and the way he treated her.

"I think he might...more than really like me," she admitted nervously. He hadn't said it out loud or anything, but some of the things he did and said gave away just how deep his feelings for her ran.

Regina was silent as she processed what Hanna said.

"And what about you? Do you 'more than really like' him, too?" she finally asked.

"I think I do," Hanna murmured, blinking back tears as she realized again just how terrible this situation was. She had a perfect husband, who adored her, who supported her and treated her right, and somehow, somewhere along the way, she had fallen in love with someone else.

"Oh, Hanna," Regina sighed, pulling Hanna into her arms.

"Well, what are you going to do, then?" Regina asked, getting straight down to business as they pulled apart.

"What do you mean?" Hanna asked, a puzzled look on her face.

"What are you going to do about your little love triangle?" she prompted.

Hanna was still confused.

"Well, there's not really much I can do," she finally said. "But the one thing I know is that I don't want to lose Caleb. I know it's selfish to keep stringing him along when I know it can't go anywhere, but I just can't lose him," she emphasized. "So I guess I'm just going to keep being selfish and taking advantage of as much time as I can get with him, until he decides it's not worth it anymore."

Hanna hadn't really thought about this before. But of course, it couldn't go on forever. It was inevitable that Caleb would get tired of being her dirty secret after a while, and give up on her, on them. As much as it hurt to think about, she knew she couldn't blame him. What she was doing to him was really unfair, but she just couldn't seem to stay away from him.

"Well, what if it could go somewhere?" Regina broke Hanna out of her thoughts.

Hanna looked at Regina like she was crazy.

"You remember I'm married, right?" Hanna confirmed. "And you've met my parents - they would never go for me even considering doing anything that would jeopardize my relationship with sweet, perfect, rich Jordan." Hanna thought back to her mother's furious reaction to learning about Caleb, wincing as she remembered her harsh words. Hanna didn't have a choice, not really, and it was crazy to think otherwise.

"Well, lucky for you, Hanny, you're an adult now," Regina told her, in a slightly patronizing tone. "You can make your own decisions. And you always have a choice. It's up to you to make the right one for you. I can't tell you what to do. Only you know what's best for you."

Hanna knew that her grandmother was technically right, but she also knew that in her position, in this family, the choice wasn't really all hers to make. She needed to think about what everyone else wanted for her first, think about what everyone else thought of her. That was the most important thing - that's what she had been taught her entire life.

Before she could say anything else, she saw Caleb walking back towards them, holding a bag.

"Am I interrupting?" he asked as he approached.

"Nope," Regina replied. "She's all yours now," she said pointedly, giving Hanna a hug and telling Caleb it was nice meeting him before making her way to go rejoin her friends again.

"So what was that about?" Caleb asked as they watched her walk away.

"She wanted to know what was going on between us," Hanna replied.

"And...what did you tell her?" he probed. He needed to know what their story was in case he saw her again.

"The truth," she said simply.

"Really?" he said, but it came out more like a statement than a question. So now Spencer, her mother, and her grandmother all knew about them. That was a step in the right direction for them, right?

"She was surprisingly cool about it," Hanna observed. "I think she even likes you."

"Well, what's not to like?" he smirked. "I am incredibly charming."

She bobbed her head from side to side, as though considering objecting to his claims.

"Hey!" he cried. "I charmed the pants right off of you, now didn't I?" he asked, tickling her side and making her giggle.

"Okay, okay, fine, you're charming!" she gave in, out of breath from laughing so hard.

"Thank you."

"So what'd you buy?" she asked him, gesturing to the bag. Usually it was her buying things, not him.

"Well, it's for you, actually," he said slowly.

"You bought me a present?" she gasped excitedly.

"Whoa, whoa, calm down there. Don't get too excited now," he tried to lower her expectations to avoid disappointment. "It's just something small, not some fancy, expensive jewelry or something," he muttered.

She knew he was thinking about the conversation he had overheard from the shower, when Jordan had come home early and gifted her with a new Cartier bracelet.

"Caleb, stop," she said firmly. She hated when he compared himself to Jordan. "I'm sure I'm gonna love it, whatever it is. Now hand it over." She held out her hand expectantly, as he reluctantly handed the bag over.

She opened the bag and pulled out a record. She looked at it to see it was Taylor Swift's Speak Now.

Her mouth dropped open in shock.

"I told you, it's not much," he said quickly, seeing her reaction. "But I saw it in the record shop, and I knew it seemed familiar, and then I remembered you saying earlier that it was your favorite album, and I noticed when I was at your house that you had a record player, but I looked through the records and it didn't really seem like anything you listened to, so I just saw this and thought of you," he rambled on. "Everything sounds better on vinyl," he concluded.

It was true; she didn't own a single vinyl. The record player was more Jordan's thing. But this was the perfect one to start her collection.

"No, Caleb, it's perfect," she said softly, her eyes welling up. "Thank you so much." She stepped up on her tiptoes to press a hard kiss against his lips, trying to show him just how much she appreciated the gesture.

It really was the perfect gift. So much better than the expensive jewelry and handbags that Jordan presented her with. She didn't care how much it cost - it proved that he listened to her and cared about her and cared about the things she was interested in.

"I'm sorry, babe, but I really have to take this," Hanna told Caleb apologetically, holding up her phone and standing up from the couch. "I'll make it as quick as possible, though, I promise," she told him, kissing his cheek before making her way into the bedroom.

Since they had gotten back from dinner and walking around downtown, Caleb and Hanna had just been lounging on the couch, watching TV, cuddling, making out. But then Jordan called, and Hanna knew she had to answer it, or he would worry. They talked on the phone regularly whenever he was gone, and Hanna rarely missed a call.

Just a few minutes later, Caleb was already missing Hanna. So he went into the bedroom to find her.

She was sitting on the big king sized bed, leaning back against the headboard, her phone pressed to her ear. She looked at him questioningly as he walked in, holding up one finger to suggest she wouldn't be too much longer.

But he couldn't wait.

So he joined her on the bed, positioning her body between his legs as he pushed up the T-shirt of his that she had changed into as soon as they got back.

He looked up at her to see her sending him death stares, but he ignored it.

He placed hot, open-mouthed kisses up her inner thighs, pausing every so often to nibble and suck on the smooth skin. Once he reached her centre, he ghosted his lips over the sensitive area, before flicking his tongue out and pushing it up into her.

He could hear her gasp quietly before breathing in deeply to try to cover the noise.

"Yup, dinner with my mom was fi-ine," her voice feathered as his tongue moved around inside of her.

Despite her initial annoyance, it felt too incredible for her to stay mad at him. So she used the hand that wasn't holding her phone to grab the back of his head, tangling it in his hair as she held him in place, guiding him where she wanted him to go.

She couldn't believe how much she was enjoying Caleb eating her out while she was on the phone with her husband.

Just as she was getting close, he pulled his tongue out of her abruptly. She shot him a disappointed look as he smirked up at her.

He moved his hand to where his mouth had just been, running a finger over her slit, spreading her wetness up and down her lips.

He ran his lips down her jawline, leaving kiss after kiss after kiss against the smooth skin as his fingers played with her.

She groaned audibly as he pushed two digits deep inside of her, throwing her head back against the headboard and squeezing her eyes shut tightly.

"I...just...noticed that one of my nails is chipped," she managed to get out breathlessly into the phone, attempting to justify her groan.

He sniggered at this, getting increasingly turned on by the fact that he was getting her into this state while she was in the middle of a conversation with her husband.

He moved his fingers around inside her, making sure to hit that bundle of nerves that inevitably made her toes curl every single time.

She bit down on her arm, hard, to stop herself from screaming as his fingers went particularly deep.

He noticed the telltale signs that she was getting close. Her back was arched off the bed, and her walls were tightening around his fingers. So he placed one last wet kiss against her jaw, before he took the hand that was not currently preoccupied with making her feel unspeakable things, and clamped it over her mouth to conceal her moans as she snapped, her orgasm racing through her as she gushed around his fingers.

He ducked his head back down so his tongue could lap up her juices, while Hanna abruptly ended her phone call.

"You know what, I really have to go!" she managed to say. "Mm hm, you, too!" she rushed out before hanging up and tossing her phone to the side.

"Fuck you!" she exclaimed breathlessly, pointing her index finger at Caleb accusingly, but also grinning at him. "You are such a dick!"

He smirked at her before kissing her deeply, letting her taste herself on his tongue, slanting his mouth over hers before pulling away.

"Sorry, but that call seemed boring; I just wanted to make it a little more fun," he told her arrogantly. "Speaking of my dick..." he trailed off, referring to her previous attempt at an insult.

"Yes!" she agreed eagerly, still incredibly turned on just from the things that his tongue and fingers had done to her. "I want you, inside of me, now."

He was all too happy to comply with her wishes, kissing her passionately as he tugged down his boxers, grabbing his cock and running the head up and down her lips before suddenly pushing into her roughly, making her groan as he filled her in the most delicious way possible.

The L-word is making an appearance! Not out loud yet, but it's implied. I've been alluding to it in other chapters, and it will come out eventually. These things just take time, ya know? Especially when you can't have a real relationship and you're not actually supposed to be in love, because one of you is already supposed to be in love with someone else. We all know she's not and never was though, right? I mean, even on the show, I don't think she ever said it to Boring Jordan, right? It's because SHE WASN'T! Her heart always belonged to Caleb, and no one else ever stood a chance.

Also, I just love me some Regina Marin, so of course she had to make an appearance. And is she telling Hanna that she should leave her husband to be with Caleb? Gasp! Well, all of the best people are Haleb shippers, after all.

Please review. :) Talk to you next chapter (next year!)!
