(Rewritten Rebuild) - Shinji Ikari, a boy who was born thinking he could do no good for the world, but fate showed that this was wrong, he would apprehend in the worst possible way.

Post-Rebuild 3.33, Shinji is recovered from the red earth by Asuka, having been condemned and wronged, he will do anything to prove his innocence and take revenge on those who abandoned him and betrayed him, being unable to count and trust anyone, only him same.

Love is destructive, and Shinji knows that. He witnessed betrayal first hand. Oneshot only.

Following Third Impact, Shinji has rejected Instrumentality, despite the fact that he will return to a world that has only brought him pain. (Asuka's 2022 Birthday Fic) After her disastrous defeat against Zeruel, Asuka lays abandoned in Misato's apartment, stewing in resentment.

Few get a second chance at living, let alone two or three. Rei Ayanami never knew what to do with the lives she had until it was too late. Getting another chance at living could mean a world of difference. After all, life is an ever changing thing and even the smallest of changes can reverberate across the world.

Asuka thought everyone had forgotten her birthday, too occupied as they were with getting Shinji out of Unit-01's core. Truth is, someone-or rather, a number of someones-did remember her birthday. The catch is...they aren't anyone she knows.

Given the opportunity to try again, what would a troubled girl do differently?

In the wake of second impact, desperate nations across the globe turned against their neighbors and waged war, the likes of which humanity hadn't seen in half a century. Years later, a veteran of one of these conflicts is summoned by NERV to assist them in waging a new type of war, and finds himself increasingly entangled in the lives of the people he finds in Tokyo-3.

Once again, Shinji shows Asuka up. She has mixed feelings about it.

The Hedgehog's Dilemma dictates that despite the intention of a reciprocal relationship, it may not occur for reasons that two individuals cannot avoid. Despite good will, human intimacy cannot occur without substantial mutual harm, and what results is cautious behavior and weak relationships. (Warning: VERY slow fic. Also serious adult themes and lemons. Bondage not in story.)

She hadn't celebrated her birthday in many years. She just didn't have the time. (Asushin oneshot to celebrate Asuka's birthday. Rated T for safety, but I think it's pretty harmless.)

I, like many, wrote cringey self-insert fanfiction when I was younger. It's something I'd have preferred to have kept buried, but my past has come to haunt me. After dying in embarrassing fashion, I find myself reborn as my old edgelord OC in my old Evangelion fanfiction. Cringe never dies, it is only reborn.
