No one could see him; the surprise would be ruined if any of his friends find out."By All Might, please, don't let anyone else to be outside of their rooms."Midoriya went upstairs as soon as he saw Todoroki and Kacchan leaving to present their remedial licensing exam.

"I only have a couple of hours."He thought jumping the steps to the fifth floor."I hope you don't get too upset that I entered your room without permission."He peeked out into the hallway before starting walking in his tiptoes.

He pushed open the third door and closed it as soon as he was inside it."What if he fails again?"He shook his head from side to side to put the thought aside. He scanned the room after setting his backpack on the floor."I better get down to work."

Midoriya decided not to waste more time so he crouched down repeating the plan in his mind. He pulled out bags of streamers and sat down to separate the colors."At first I just wanted to use his favorite color but even he couldn't decide which one is it."

He arranged the greens near the entrance."It should have been a shade darker but I only found this one."Then he placed the blues near the bed and tried to write his name."Even if it's not the color he likes the most, it represents him quite well."He used the yellow ones to divert attention to the desk."It's a good way to get him to go there."He placed the red ones on the bed."This is the one that scares me... He could associate it with his father and that would be a problem."

He blew up a couple of balloons that he had asked his mom to buy."She's the only person I've ever talked to about this."He tied them with a piece of wick, one to the handle of the door that led to the balcony and tried to glue the other one on to the floor, next to the green ribbons."I hope they stay the same until Shoto arrives."

He dug into his backpack for the papers he had taken out of his folder and his markers-case, and went to the desk."It would have been better to put the streamers last."He thought when he realized that he had almost no free space, but anyways, he placed everything in the corner that was empty and began to write on them.

In one he drew a rectangle in the middle of the paper and he did his best to portray All Might around it."I could suggest that we sign up for an art class, maybe he'll accept."He cut out the inside of the small rectangle and placed a few bits of tape behind the head and arms of his favorite hero. He stuck it on top of the light switch."It may not be as pretty as the official merchandise but he can still have it until I have the free time needed to buy the original one for you."

He returned to the desk with a smile on his face."I just hope you like it."He took another one of the little signs and placed it over the bed, right in the center of the heart that he had formed with the red streamers."Is this going to be extra sweet? Will I scare him with so many things?"His fears made him take a few more minutes to set the paper exactly where he wanted.

The excitement and the nerves were increasing while the seconds were passing and Midoriya was still in Todoroki's room."I hope he doesn't take me for a madman."Almost two hours had passed since he had entered and Midoriya, quite stressed, turned every so often to see the little clock screen that his friend had on the table.

He only had to put the box of chocolates, which he had put in the fridge so it would not melt, and the candles that he had bought a few days ago."The expression on his face when he smelled the tangerine odor… I couldn't refuse to buy it."

He placed the transparent glass on the table and the lighter aside."We may not even use it but we better have it... I don't want to ask him to turn it on."He took the little bottle of glitter out of his backpack after putting away the markers he had already use, and weighed the idea he had in mind.

"A little around the candle and another bit to decorate the poster that I have not pasted yet."Midoriya went back to the table as he opened the lid and began to drip glitter onto the wood, circled the glass with the sparkling mix of colors and stepped back a few inches to see if he had it right."Not bad... For how much my pulse trembles, it looks pretty good."

He went back to the desk and opened the glue stick, wrote his name with it, and dumped a handful of glitter on the paper."Please let what I want to do go well. The Internet says that sometimes it gets complicated and everything ends up sticking wherever it wants."He lifted the paper and, surprisingly, the sparks did stick quite well and he didn't have to repeat the process."Whoa! Goodness."He wiped his forehead with one of his hands.

Midoriya let it dry while putting the bottle back in his backpack and closed it right after. He returned to the desk and ran a white thread through the two little holes he had cut in the sheet of paper and tied a knot on each side."Where do I put this? It has to be a place that he uses for sure... Aha, I know."He went to the coat rack where Todoroki placed his jacket everyday whenever they came back from class, he moved it a little away from the door and hung the sign there.

He scanned the entire room to see that nothing had escaped his plan."Everything seems to be in his place."He turned to see the time before hearing screams coming from the lower floors."It must be them. Did they do well?"He took a black bottle from one of the side pockets of his backpack and a small gray box from the other side.

Midoriya went into the bathroom, wiped the sweat over his skin with a napkin and took off the sweater he was wearing, got into the shower to not make such a mess and opened the bottle."Body frost in roll-on. What a good idea!".He brushed the ball over his skin, leaving a faintly sparkling path where it passed, until he was satisfied with the amount of glow radiating from his body.

He put the bottle on the desk and sat on the floor, with the little box hidden in the gap that was created between him and the balcony door when he leaned back."Don't take too much time down there."Now he only had to wait for Todoroki to enter the room and see his surprise.

"I'm risking a lot, he may not get in alone but it doesn't matter. I want to congratulate him in a different way, I hope he does like it... With one of his scant smiles I am satisfied."

He saw the doorknob turn and took a deep breath to try and calm his nerves. Silence filled the room when his eyes met."At least he is alone... This way I save part of the explanations."Todoroki closed the door as fast as he could and froze, looking everywhere before returning his gaze to Midoriya's green orbs.

Surprise, and nervousness, was painted all over his face. Todoroki lowered his face and noticed the green ribbons that formed a shamrock, he couldn't help but slightly curve the corner of his lips."He doesn't seem to hate me."Midoriya was still on the ground, his hands clasped over his legs, waiting for his friend to process all the madness.

Todoroki jumped over the shamrock and crouched beside his name written in blue streamer."Do you see that the ribbons aren't of flat colors?"He observed his friend reaching a hand to the paper when he noticed the little red and white dots that decorated it, and raised his face back to Midoriya.

"Why me?" he whispered dumbfounded, rising from the ground.

"Because you deserve it after working so hard." Midoriya gave him a smile and waited to see what his friend would see next.

"When did you think of doing all this?" He asked softly.

"When you told me about the movement you were perfecting to keep it under control and use it during the exam," he murmured without separating his glaze from his friend's bicolored eyes.

Todoroki, gathering his willpower, turned his face to the left and noticed that his desk was covered with yellow ribbons and a couple of photos over them. In one he came out alone with one of his ice walls behind him and the left side of him burning in flames, it was the day of his meeting at the sports festival. In the other photo they were hugging each other, dressed and combed like the other.

"I hope it does take him mentally to that date we had."He distinguished how, without being able to avoid it, the lips of his friend imitated he's and curved with the memory that he must have brought because of the photograph that he had between his hands.

Midoriya's smile widened when he saw the happiness on Todoroki's face."I did it! That was all I wanted."He thought excitedly standing up and going to meet him.

"You are fascinated by photos and you have many around the room," he whispered, getting to his right side.

"Izuku, this is the most beautiful thing I've ever received." Todoroki put both pictures down where he found them and grabbed the little black bottle in the corner. "What is this?"

"Can I?" Midoriya asked pointing his own arms, referring to the glittering details that covered his skin, and he received a nod from his friend.

Midoriya removed the cap and handed it to Todoroki before gently running the ball over his cheeks."I can't push too hard or else he will end up with big bright spots, plus it could hurt him… No, no. I have to be delicate."He spread the glitter with his fingers, brushing his cheeks with his fingertips and resisting the urge to kiss him when he finished.

Todoroki rolled up his sleeves and stretched his arms out in front of him, trying to make him understand to put glitter there too. "I didn't think he wanted it to cover a lot of his body."He thought stroking his forearm before brushing the glitter where he passed his fingertips."He looks so handsome."He sighed helplessly.

"Thank you," Todoroki muttered after wrapping his fingers around his wrist. "Everything is very nice."

"You haven't seen everything yet." He encouraged him, handing him the bottle to close it."I like that sometimes he just lets me take care."

Todoroki put the lid over and placed the bottle back on the corner of the desk."I love all our moments like this."He turned his face back to his friend and hugged him, he did not seem to care that his hero suit was filled with glitter, and Midoriya was not going to reject the affection he was receiving, even less if it came from him.

Todoroki pulled him away a few seconds later, the blue of his shirt covered in colored frost and his flushed cheeks that, along with the body glitter, gave an angelic touch to his expression."I'm glad you're enjoying the surprise."Midoriya motioned for him to finish looking at the rest of his room.

Todoroki took a couple of steps towards where he was sitting a few minutes ago but Midoriya stopped him before he grabbed the box in his hands."I forgot that I had left it in there… That's the last part, he can't see it first."So he went to his nightstand, realizing, without having to open the glass, that it was the candle that he wanted to buy so bad but his friend had flatly refused.

"I get it now..." Todoroki turned with a soft, short laugh. "You were going to give it to me."

"Yes…" Midoriya put a hand on the back of his own neck. "I realize you loved the aroma and well…" he laughed, "I'm sorry."

"It reminds me of you," Todoroki whispered, taking the candle in his hands and returning near to his friend. "It is really similar to your scent, Izuku."

"Is that why you liked it so much?" Midoriya felt his cheeks burn and the butterflies in his stomach flutter like crazy.

"Yes," he muttered, nodding. "So, even though I'm not with you, I can feel you close." Todoroki placed the glass in front of the photo of the two of them together.

He immediately brought his left index finger close to the wick and carefully lit it."Wow, he really has improved a lot. I am very proud".Midoriya appreciated the tangerine scent as soon as the candle began to melt and cover every corner of Todoroki's room with the bittersweet scent.

Todoroki returned to the short table and held up the small poster that he had seen, but not detailed, when he brought the candle."I said I was going to be strong but my eyes are watering, ugh."Midoriya took in, with his eyes closed, all the air that his lungs allowed him to be try and be able to swallow the tears."Not yet".

You can do it all, Todoroki. I hope the smell of this candle relaxes you and help you stay focused so that one day you will be a cool hero. I trust you!

He saw Todoroki hug the paper close to his chest and placed it back on the table."For now, everything is going well."He thought, bending down to grab the box and waiting for his friend to see what was on the bed."Now is when the most difficult thing is coming."

Midoriya turned his face away from his at the same time as Todoroki."By All Might, the chocolates!"He snorted, praying that no one ate them until they were done here."I always have to forget something, right?"Mentally, he smacked his forehead at his carelessness and tried to push it aside, focusing on the expression on his friend's face.

Todoroki was gaping and looked, repeatedly, from him to the bed."He doesn't know what to do... How do I take t...?"Midoriya nearly fell to the ground from the force with which Todoroki reached out to hug him.

"Izuku!" He heard him cry of his name close to his ear. "Yes! Yes, I would like to be your boyfriend."

Midoriya sighed calmly when he heard him finish the sentence and hugged him much tighter than he had ever imagined possible."It went well... At least he accepted."He tried to get away but Todoroki stopped him; he didn't seem ready to let it move."I must be the luckiest person in the world."

After a few seconds he managed to move away a little and picked up the box from the floor."I hope it didn't break."He went to sit on the edge of the bed and patted on his side to signal Todoroki to come next to him."I would understand if he didn't use it."He handed him the gray box as he blew out the air he had contained. Todoroki lifted the lid and closed it again as soon as he saw what was inside.

"You shouldn't have…" he whispered, watching Midoriya. "Aw, Izuku!"

"I don't know if you want to make it public yet…" He looked down at the ground. "Don't worry, if you prefer not to use it…"

"Put it on," he whispered, pushing the open box toward him. "Let the whole world know about us."

"Are you sure, Todoroki?" He asked, surprised.

"Yes." He sounded convinced. "I'm looking forward to it."

"Okay," he murmured, pulling out the bracelet and surrounding his boyfriend's wrist with his fingers.

He hooked the clasp in the appropriate ring so it would not be too big on him."Luckily they could have it ready for today."He adjusted the plate on top of his wrist.

"And the other says Shoto?" He asked, taking it between his fingers and setting the box beside them.

"Todoroki…" Midoriya muttered, smiling at him. "I know you don't really like that I call you that, but… Shoto is also your hero's name and I didn't want to use it if everyone is going to call you in the same way I will."

"What did you write?" He asked, taking Midoriya's right hand and placing it over his leg to make it easier for him to close the hook.

He slipped the bracelet under his wrist and adjusted it in place, just as Midoriya had done with him. Then brought the back of his hand near to his lips when he read the plaque: My King."It seems he did like it."He tilted his face when his boyfriend cradled his face in his hand.

"I adore you," Todoroki muttered with his eyes closed.

"I adore you even more," he replied, imitating him.

"Can we stay here the rest of the afternoon, right?" Todoroki sounded tired.

"Of course." His tone denoted happiness. "All night if you want."

The arm that Midoriya had resting on the bed gave up, causing him to fall sideways over the red ribbons and Todoroki followed him, lying down in front of him."This is one of the most beautiful moments I have ever lived."

It had only been a couple of seconds when they brought their faces together at the same time and gave a soft laugh because of the synchronicity. Todoroki finished bringing his nose close to Midoriya's and gently brushed it."I really love him."He admitted to himself before hugging his boyfriend around the waist and planting a loud kiss on the corner of his lips.

Todoroki looked into his bright green eyes, momentarily losing himself in them, and moved his face a little to imitate him, making Midoriya widen his smile, adorning his cute expression.

Both of them closed their eyes and held each other for a few minutes."Hopefully nothing bad ever happens to us."Midoriya had a bad feeling when that thought crossed his mind but he decided to ignore it; he didn't want to destroy the environment he was enjoying.

He brought his free hand closer to Todoroki's and grapped his fingers, pressing lightly before moving their hands to his chest and closing his eyes again."Please don't let anyone take this feeling away from me."He was exhausted and fall asleep a few minutes later, followed by his boyfriend, who had placed a pillow under their heads to be more comfortable. Both ended up surrendering to Morpheus's arms when their hearts beating simultaneously.
