Story Start!

"The goal is simple Tsubaki, we find Naruto before he challenges the Occult Research Club to a competition. If he figured out that I'm a devil, no doubt he would figure out that Rias Gremory is a devil too."

Sona was on a mission to not allow Rias to know about Naruto's potential. Rias was looking for Sacred Gear users and those with special abilities, and she had completely ignored Naruto's talent for beating clubs. Sona hadn't told Rias she was going after Naruto, so Naruto would be free game for Rias to go after as well.

"Yes Ma'am." Tsubaki, the Queen of her peerage, spoke with a sure tone.

They had limited time, Naruto had burned through all of the athletic clubs and he was now burning through the non-athletic clubs on his conquest to beat every member of every club at everything they were good at. With his newfound knowledge of the supernatural, it was only a matter of time before he challenged Rias and showed off his growing magical abilities.

That alone would be enough for Rias to gain an interest.

'With her looks, sex appeal, and kindness, she will no doubt be able to get him to join her if she tries.' Sona thought in worry.

She had woke up extra early this morning to craft an offer to Naruto that she believed he would be willing to take. It would be horrible for her if Rias were to attain ANOTHER high quality member for her peerage without any real effort needing to be put into it.

"You have a Knight, Rook, and 8 Pawns... which do you plan to use?" Tsubaki asked her.

"Whatever it takes."

-With Naruto-

"HELLO OCCULT RESEARCH CLUB!"

"Well... hello Uzumaki-kun." Rias greeted Naruto when he burst right into her clubroom by kicking in the door. She had heard about him going through the clubs, and she had been expecting him to challenge her club to something. She didn't know WHAT he expected to challenge them at, but she had been expecting him to come and challenge them today after school, or within the next few days with the rate he burned through clubs.

"Hello!"

"Excitable." Akeno giggled into her hand when she saw Naruto cross his arms and grin at all of those in the room with a smug smile on his face.

Naruto pointed a finger at Rias.

"You're a Devil, aren't you! Last night, I figured out Sona Sitri was a Devil, and you're Rias Gremory, famous at this school for being super sexy and stuff... are YOU a devil too!?" Naruto asked her loudly, his excitement bleeding through his voice so loudly that it was like two of him were screaming.

Rias was surprised, but she didn't show it on her face.

"Why, yes, I am a devil... I take it you're aware of the supernatural?" Rias asked him, and she looked around the room. She saw her Knight Kiba, her Rook Koneko, AND her Queen Akeno were all watching with interest.

Naruto grinned.

"I figured out that supernatural stuff existed last night, and I want to challenge supernatural people to stuff too. So... what are you guys best at... are there any magic stuff and cool freaku devil things you can do?" Naruto asked as he looked at all of them.

Rias giggled for a moment.

She was right to pass on this boy in order to focus her search on Sacred Gear users, because this boy had zero signs of a Sacred Gear, and apparently he just learned the day before about the supernatural being a thing.

"I think you should train more, before you challenge us. Even some of the weakest Devils are as strong as the best of the best athletes. I have no doubt you're strong for a human... is there anything not fight related you can challenge us at?" Rias asked Naruto, since she didn't want an unfair fight between any member of her peerage and a normal human.

Naruto grinned.

"Nope!"

"Very well, since you want to see some cool magic stuff... Hey Kiba, would you mind taking Naruto outside and sparring with him?" Rias asked her knight. He had the most control over not hurting people with his abilities, and as a speed fighter and not a power fighter his attack strength wouldn't put Naruto in too much pain.

Naruto frowned, before he grinned.

"You can do cool stuff huh?" Naruto asked Kiba.

The pretty boy nodded.

"Yes, I can create demonic swords using my Sacred Gear, would you like to spar outside?" Kiba asked with a smile, a calm smile. Koneko silently looked between Kiba and Naruto, before she shrugged her shoulders and got up.

She might as well watch this trainwreck of a fight go down.

-Outside 15 Minutes Later-

"Are you ready?" Kiba asked as he created a sword for himself that popped out of the ground.

Naruto looked at his ability with interest.

Kiba had made a sword for him as well, and Naruto looked down at the sword that Kiba gave to him.

"How did you do this... and what is a Sacred Gear?" Naruto questioned Kiba for only a brief moment. Akeno stepped outside last and heard this question, while Koneko sat down and pulled out some snacks, ready to watch with some amusement.

Rias stood between Naruto and Kiba, ready to start the spar.

"Sacred Gears are objects that give their users special abilities, or they just are a special ability. I can use my magical power to design and create swords. I'm ready." Kiba stated as he saw no reason not to tell Naruto how his ability worked. Naruto thought about it, and he looked down at the sword in his hand for a second.

"You use your magic... design and create... magical design..."

Naruto looked at the plain sword he was using, and he looked at Kiba again, before he grinned and nodded his head.

"If both of you are ready, you can fight." Rias stepped back.

Kiba vanished from view with pure speed.

He got behind Naruto and prepared to knock him out, but Naruto used a burst of magical wind underneath his feet to rush forward and dodge the blow. With another burst, he turned back around and rushed at Kiba while swinging the sword he had been given.

Kiba shattered the sword he gave Naruto.

'He said he just learned about the supernatural... but he JUST used magic?' Rias had noticed that strange little tidbit, and she made eye contact with Akeno. Akeno was now being far more aware of the fight as it was going on, and she made sure to pay special attention to what Naruto was doing.

Kiba smiled though.

He stopped smiling when a new sword appeared in Naruto's hand.

"I SEE! So it worked, lets keep going then!" Naruto stated as he swung his new sword.

Koneko dropped her snack on the ground.

Naruto and Kiba crossed blades, with Kiba appraising Naruto's sword.

'It's crude and sloppy... but somehow, he learned how my Sacred Gear worked and recreated it's abilities.' Kiba had far more speed than Naruto and vanished from view. He saw Naruto's feet, and saw as he used another spiral burst of wind to launch himself away from Kiba. Naruto had already turned around as Kiba came flying at him, in the process of creating a new sword, one that would be more suited for beating an opponent without injuring them.

Originally, any sword would have been okay, since he planned on knocking his opponent out with the flat of the blade, but that was no longer an easy to do thing.

Naruto saw him make the sword.

"Ah! It felt like you were sharpening your magic... this sword I made won't compete with that one if I don't do the... better than doing the same thing." Naruto changed his line of thinking and got into a low stance. He created two swords, one in each of his hands. The quality of his swords both far greater than the quality of the sword he had first created. "Good thinking me, lets see if this works!" Naruto rushed at Kiba and flipped forwards.

Kiba blocked Naruto's swords during the jump, but Naruto landed behind him and stabbed both of the swords into the ground. Letting go of them, Naruto jumped high into the air using another burst of wind element magic.

Dozens of swords appeared in the air around Naruto and fell to the ground, stabbing in the dirt and forcing Kiba to stay on the move.

'The quality of his swords keeps increasing with each sword he makes, and I'm seeing something else... it's like the more he fights, the better he gets. He's making swords faster, and he's becoming a better swordsman... he's using MY technique I just used!' Kiba thought quickly, rushing away from Naruto as Naruto copied his movement from earlier.

Now everyone was paying MUCH more attention than before.

"No way, his movements are getting sharper, more accurate... at this rate, his swordsmanship will be equal to Kiba in a matter of minutes. How is he doing that?" Rias spoke under her breath, her eyes tracking the fight. Kiba used his speed, and Naruto burst around using the wind, and to her, none of this was making any sense at all.

He LEARNED how to use a Sacred Gear that he DID NOT have, using magic to replicate the ability of a Sacred Gear without needing to own it. Not only that, but he it just because Kiba explained it to him, and by watching Kiba he was becoming more and more able to use the swords he made.

"Your technique is amazing, is this kendo or western?" Kiba asked Naruto as they clashed blades.

He noticed that the more he broke Naruto's swords, the harder they became to break as Naruto improved the technique he was using to make them.

"You never know when somebody will challenge you to a swords battle with your life on the line, so I spent a couple of hours mastering swordsmanship... but thanks for showing me I had more to learn!" Naruto stated as he ran through every move that Kiba was making, and compared it to his own moves, over 1000 times and made adjustments to his own skills.

Kiba was now trying his hardest.

"... No way." Koneko said her first words as she watched the fight.

"Just minutes ago, his level was that of a pro athlete, but now he is competing with a specialist like Kiba." Akeno couldn't believe what she was seeing either.

'No... he's already at my level... and he's going to surpass me!' Kiba saw as Naruto took his own moves, and mastered them to a level that Kiba himself had yet to master. He was gaining a mastery over the sword at an unreal speed. Kiba was now struggling to keep up with Naruto, which was the opposite of what he had expected starting out this spar. 'Thankfully, it seems his magic reserves are going to hit their lim-' Kiba's thoughts were ruined by something he didn't expect.

Naruto's sword BROKE his sword this time in their latest clash.

Naruto had made 20 swords, and on the 21st sword he created, he created a sword of better quality than the sword that Kiba had created using his Sacred Gear. Creating a better, sharper, sword and using it against Naruto, he found that the new sword he created shattered against Naruto's sword.

"I designed this new sword to have a flexible center, but a strong, sturdy, but BLUNT edge to it. I call it the Sword Breaker, made to shatter swords!" Naruto explained to Kiba this time.

Stunned silence as Kiba's next 5 swords were shattered one after another, nobody could say a sword as Naruto quickly surpassed Kiba in terms of pure skill and sword creation ability. While Kiba was still much faster than Naruto, now the tables had turned seeing as Naruto had become the much more skilled of the two of them.

'He used everything he learned from me, just by watching me, and used it to master the skills he already had... he's terrifying.' Kiba saw Naruto stomp his foot down, and another sword came out of the ground, forcing him to rush backyards, as multiple swords came after him from the ground. 'He's damn creative too... where did?' Kiba stopped when he felt a sword at the back of his neck.

Rias raised her hand quickly.

"Uzumaki-kun wins!"

"Thanks for the fun match, it was good to learn something new. Here I thought I had mastered the use of a sword before now... so which of you is next?" Naruto asked as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. Rias looked at Naruto carefully, trying to figure out if he was being a smug asshole, or if he was lying about his earlier statements.

Multiple times he had referenced "mastering" stuff quickly.

"How did you learn to replicate Kiba's Sacred Gear?" Rias ignored Naruto's question and asked her own.

"Oh, I just figured out how to do it in my mind, and then I practiced DOING it in my mind 1000 times. That entire fight, I was practicing 1000 times over in my head, kind of hard not to master something when you practice it so much."

...

"What makes no sense." Rias stated.

"Oh! I thought Sona told you, I was born with 1000 minds in my mind, and they can learn and practice things for me. I learn things 1000 times faster than others, and can master things even faster than that once I learn them. Usually, it only takes me a few hours to master stuff at most." Naruto explained with a smug smile, not actually trying to be smug.

Jaws were dropped.

"But... only a few minutes passed, and you surpassed me..." Kiba stated in a low tone.

"Well, I spent last night learning magic, and I already had sword experience from beating kendo clubs. I just combined those two skills together, and used what I was learning from you to enhance those abilities of mine... and YOU explained your Sacred Gear to me, so it was easy to do my own version of it." Naruto stated as he explained how he was able to surpass Kiba.

Rias held her hand out.

"Come join my peerage."

"No thanks, I don't know what a peerage is, but you're not my type. I've already got a crush on Sona anyway, since she was so fun and nice to me." Naruto casually admitted with a grin on his face. Sona had played chess with him ALL night, and she had been so nice to him during the entire thing. She was the first girl to treat him like a person and not like a total freak, so if he was going to join up with anyone, he would prefer it be Sona.

Rias frowned.

"... She's very strict, a fun loving guy like you-"

"Not interested, either way, since nobody else wants to accept my challenge, I'm going to another club now." Naruto waved at them, and he started to jog off into a different direction. Towards the next club that he was going to challenge.

Kiba was looking at his shaking hands.

"I... I don't like him at all." Kiba couldn't stand that he had been defeated by a person who managed to copy his own style and perfect it.

"His potential is unreal, even without a Sacred Gear... I don't think you understand how scary that ability of his is. If he can copy Sacred Gear abilities... we NEED to get a hold of him while he can still be turned." Rias stated with a shiver.

Right now, Naruto had no Sacred Gear, so the Evil Piece system was just going to register him as a human who could use magic, a super athletic human with potential. Once Naruto started to learn and master Sacred Gear abilities though, then it was only a matter of time before gained enough abilities that his potential would become too high for the Evil Pieces to easily work on him at their levels of strength.

"... He just admitted he had a crush on Sona..." Akeno muttered with a raised eyebrow.

He was VERY casual about admitting he had a crush.

"Sona can't be allowed to learn about Naruto's potential, or she will try and get him into her peerage for sure." Rias stated as she felt the need to compete with her rival. Naruto might not have a Sacred Gear, but he was an absolute perfect addition to her peerage if she could get her hands on him.

-With Sona-

'So, he has a crush on me because I was nice to him, and played with him all night? I guess that makes my work a lot easier... but that's kind of sad.' Sona hated the fact that Naruto seemed so emotionally immature, that just a girl being nice to him and playing a game with him all night was enough for him to get a crush. She wasn't even THAT nice to Naruto, she just didn't treat him like a freak, and was respectful towards him.

Near the end of the night, she became more nice to him the more she realized his potential seemed to be limitless in his learning ability. She might have even become more nice to him when she realized that she wanted to marry him to complete her deal with her parents about marraige, but the fact remains that she would admit her being nice to Naruto was just her having other motives for it.

Still.

'Naruto... it seems that fight nearly wiped his stamina. Since he just learned magic, his magical reserves have just started to grow. No amount of learning talent will enhance that. I need to get him into my peerage while his magical abilities are limited by his reserves.' Sona thought as she looked at Tsubaki and nodded her head.

She was going to make a special visit tonight.
