POV: general
"Hey babe, do you know where my keys are?" Matt yelled from the second story of their house in Lincoln park.
"Did you check your pants from yesterday?" Sylvie called back to the love of her life. "Did you find them? We have to go or we'll be late."
"Found them!" Matt yelled racing down the stairs.
"Great now let's get going or we'll be late." She said kissing Matt as he passed her.
As they exited there home they ran in to Kelly and Stella who lived next door. "Hey want to carpool?" Kelly asked as they walked to their cars.
Matt and Sylvie exchanged a look between them telling each other what they wanted. Matt was the first to speak up. "Maybe next time we have to run an errand before shift. Chief already knows."
"Ok. Cool see you later." They exchanged their goodbyes and got into their cars.
As Casey and Brett walked up the driveway of 51 they where greeted by the squad guys who where running drills. "Hey Casey Chief wants to see you and Brett in his office."
"Thanks Cruz." Brett said as she headed to the locker room with Casey on her tail. They quickly changed and put their duffels into their lockers and headed into Chief Boden's office. "Hey Chief." Brett greeted taking notice of Severide and Kidd who were already in the room.
"Good morning. As you all are aware in house relationships are against CFD policy. I have tried to keep your relationships under wraps as long as I possibly could but commissioner Grissom is transferring both you, Brett, and you, Kidd, out of 51. I am so sorry but this is over my head. I will try my best to get yours back but I can't promise anything please be aware of that." Chief said with an apologetic look upon his face. The room fell into silence as everyone processed the news. Stella was the first to speak up.
"Umm wow. Do you know where we're getting transferred to yet?"
Chief's response was quick. "I was able to get you and Brett at the same house but Kidd I had to put you as a medic or you would've gone into the floater pool."
"Ok. So we would be working ambo together that's a bonus at least." Brett said pointing out the positives as always. "But chief what house are we going to?"
Chief hesitated for a moment before answering "75." Stella let out an audible gasp and placed a death grip on Kelly's hand. "You're dismissed." The four thanked the Chief and left the room. Stella and Sylvie exchanged one look before going off on their on to process what they were just told and finish their last shift in 51 for the foreseeable future.
