(A/N) Disassembling ROOT and handily murdering Danzo. Finally. I, er, don't actually know how long this story's going to end up being, but it will end within the next 5 chapters. That's the plan, but it'll probably end before then. 4 chapters including this one was a very optimistic guess. It'll more likely take between 1-3. If it ends this time, well, here we are.

Kushina was so ready to go in and disassemble ROOT. As soon as Mito finished doing all the legal stuff. Apparently, it involved jumping through a lot of time-consuming hoops, so Kushina left her to it. She'd be better at it anyway.

In the meantime, she got to actually work on that delegation thing they'd been meaning to get around to so they didn't have quite so much paperwork. They'd been meaning to for a while, and Kushina figured now was a good a time as any and also she was kind of bored, so why not.

It took a lot of running around finding some random chuunin that weren't busy at the moment and wouldn't be in the near future, but Kushina did it. She set a few people to sorting the incoming paperwork, sorting it into 'Fancy stuff' as she so helpfully labeled the box for the Hokage's office, and 'boring stuff' for the other chuunin.

Then she had to find all the paperwork to actually set the chuunin to doing that, and give them the authorization for it, and all the other weird stuff.

This must be why they didn't before. It took forever and if Kushina wasn't so bored and didn't want to do paperwork, she wouldn't be doing the paperwork to do less paperwork. Government was stupid, why did she want to be Hokage as a kid again?

Oh yeah, she'd thought it'd be cool. That's right. It didn't seem real cool now, doing paperwork to do more paperwork. She hated the paperwork part of missions and now it was her job! Gosh she was so glad Mito didn't hate paperwork as much as she did and was willing to do most of it and just let Kushina do the repetitive signing stuff and the legwork.

Kushina, finally out of paperwork to do to limit the amount of paperwork they had to do, and all paperworked out for the day, plopped down to wait for Mito.

Neither of them were shadow clones today, Kakashi and Tenzo were with their shadow clones just in case, so both of them could be ready. It was just a precaution since the actual destruction was planned for tomorrow.

"Alright," Mito said, striding into the office. Kushina quickly took her feet off her empty desk, sitting upright and attempting to look as innocent as she was capable of managing. "I got it all done. Tomorrow, we go in and decommission every single ROOT agent by force."

"Yes!" Kushina shouted, leaping up and throwing her arms in the air. "Finally! Some action!"

"Shh," Mito shushed her. "Keep it down. We'll destroy the base as we herd everyone out. I don't want anyone finding it at some later time."

"Can't have anyone getting any ideas!" Kushina chirped in agreement. "Oh, I totally got the whole delegation thing done because I was super bored so now we should have less paperwork, and also let's go home cause there's nothing really to do and I wanna see Naruto!"

"Alright, we can leave for today," Mito agreed, collecting her jacket and bag. "Let's go."

"Yes!" Kushina jumped up, grabbing her things and following Mito out.

The day had come, Naruto was out of the village with a shadow clone of her and Mito, plus Tenzo and Kakashi, and it was time for a little elder murdering!

"Down Kushina," Mito scolded lightly as they walked through the forests around Konoha towards one of the entrances they'd left open. The other one was guarded by most of the jounin and chuunin and ANBU in Konoha, everyone there to capture the ROOT agents, albeit gently. The intention was to restrain them until Kushina and Mito could get there and remove the blasted seals. If they didn't just remove themselves upon Danzo's execution.

After that it was just the tedious process of going through each and every agent, giving them names, which Kushina had a suspicion they'd probably just go through the Uzumaki names they remembered and use those, since their original users are now dead and therefore don't need the names any more. They'd be careful about lining up names though. Just cause they were dead now didn't mean their names didn't deserve respect.

Kushina took them arriving as a signal to kick down the door. Ah, she loved doing that. It was so much fun and such a dramatic entrance.

ROOT agents froze, then scattered at the sight of them, running away in presumably terror.

"Herding them all it is," Mito sighed, making a couple shadow clones. "This should be fun."

"Like herding cats in the most literal sense!" Kushina chirped, cackling.

One of the kids that had been slower paused in his escape into a room. "But we aren't cats?"

Mito facepalmed lightly. "It's a figure of speech guppy."

"I'm not a fish either," he informed her.

Mito just sighed, and Kushina laughed.

"What's your name guppy?" Mito asked patiently. Behind her back she signaled for Kushina to start looking through rooms, then collapsing them while she talked to the kid.

"I don't have one," was the simple answer.

"Hm, how about Sai?" Mito suggested. "It's a nice name."

Kushina giggled quietly at the kid's vaguely uncomfortable expression like he wasn't sure what he was supposed to be doing, and opened the first door.

Two ROOT agents were sitting on their beds inside, and Kushina clapped her hands. They looked up with mildly surprised looks on their faces.

"Pack up your stuff and let's go!" Kushina chirped, clapping her hands again. "Out we come! And order from your Hokages, by the way. We're burning this place to the ground. Not literally because it's underground but I think you get it!"

They exchanged glances, then nodded quickly, standing up and collecting their things. Kushina let them out into the hall once they were done, then did a quick earth jutsu to destroy the room.

One room down, a lot to go.

(A/N) Okay! The conclusion is there's one chapter after this one. Executing the elders. Finally. So close to being done. Now we hope I can finish the next chapter before it's due to post like I did with this one.
